161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You can't always hit the right target on: December 05, 2020, 07:59:17 AM
The more time you spend in crypto space the more knowledge you will have, I have worse skills when doing research on new projects in 2019 but after many wrong decisions I'm now better than who I was last year compare to this year, so far I haven't promoted any scam projects this year, might be luck but I don't joke around when doing research on new projects, I choose the very good ones only, still this won't mean all the good projects will pay bounty hunters, I guess that's what OP's topic is all about
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Eth Hash Power on: December 05, 2020, 07:56:30 AM
The most profitable coin will receive the whole Ethereum mining hash, today it looks like Ravencoin wins here but for how long? Because when mining coins I've learned that a coin that's presently profitable today can be less profitable tomorrow, anyways, Ethereum isn't out of mining business just yet, let's enjoy that while it lasts
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: It's not over for Ethash on: December 05, 2020, 07:53:15 AM
The Pegascoin is very Profitable than even Ethereum right now and only very few people knew about this but Pegascoin still lacks good volumes on exchange, hopefully things will change for the better soon, also I think ETC makes more sense right now because even 3gb GPU can mine ETC now.
164  Other / Off-topic / Re: Know what you are buying on: December 04, 2020, 08:07:20 AM
Unbranded graphics cards are the most scary ones, they performs very worse and have bad capacitors, they aren't built for any intense use, I only trust two cheaper brands from china and that's Icolorful and yeston, but buying cards with no brands at all is a total waste of money, people need to be careful on aliexpress or other chinese online stores, they always have fake products
165  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Web wallet better than mobile wallet on: December 04, 2020, 08:00:25 AM
Web wallets requires login, that's says it all, secured wallets should ask users for recovery seed or private keys, entrusting funds with web wallet is like intentionally giving them out, web based wallet don't require for keys but logins meaning they are complete online web pages, how could you even think of storing valuable assets on such wallets?
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will you trust the Code or Human? on: December 03, 2020, 07:50:07 AM
If binance exchange fucks up they can clean their mess and still make users or investors happy, they have to work to perfection without ruining their reputations, this is exactly why I trust centralized projects and Platforms more than decentralized projects, if anything goes wrong with decentralized projects you are on your own, no one to take the responsibility
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Altcoins replace Bitcoin?!?!? on: December 03, 2020, 07:46:51 AM
Will the rise of altcoins eventually lead to the demise of Bitcoin? Ultimately Bitcoin has been tested and it has a place in the crypto world. Join our  discord https://discord.gg/pp7Jwsp9 for further discussions about this topic. Tell me what you think?
There is only one way that this can come to reality, every bitcoin whales and small investors must let go and divert their funds into the new altcoin, all big and small financial institutions must stop supporting bitcoin and instead start following the new altcoin, anything is possible but for what reason will bitcoin stop having supports? As for me I don't think the day will ever come
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Eth 2.0 mining on: December 02, 2020, 09:21:31 AM
Right now - mine as usual. It`s just the start of ETH 2.0, first stage. 1-2 years later it will be stage 1, then stage 1.5, then stage 2. And only at stage 1.5 your reward will be decreased to minimal. Until that - you can mine as now.

Wrong, you canīt mine ETH2.0. You can mine ETH, but ETH2.0 is the staking chain, and on this chain you canīt mine. This point is important, because Eth and ETH2.0 are not the same coins at the beginning and you cannot change ETH2.0 back to ETH.

So let us speak about ETH2.0 in 2 years.
ETH 2.0 and ETH 1.0 will unite and become ETH 2.0 at Phase 2, but until this time you mine ETH. And I cant say surely what coin we`ll get from ETH2.0 until we get some coins. We hear about PoS about 2-3 years and i cant say, that i believe that everything would work correct.
I guess I got the whole 2.0 thing wrong, my thought was once Eth 2.0 got launched there will be no ETH 1.0 anymore but I was wrong, whattomine is still showing Ethereum mining data and miners are still mining Ethereum, I thought the old Eth will seize to exists instantly after the upgrade, some Ethereum miners already sold their rigs because they thought they won't be mining ETH anymore in December, so confused
169  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers at work on: December 02, 2020, 09:16:20 AM
I'm guessing, 🤔 why would anyone even try to look for others private keys or Mnemonic seed using search engines in the first place? People who engaged in such act are scammers themselves because if the private keys belongs to innocent people they will move out the assets and sell for their own gains, this is stealing so no remorse for anyone that get caught in this trap

this is Scammers scamming Scammers

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't venture into something you aren't completely sure about. on: November 28, 2020, 07:39:06 AM
Mining is only profitable right now for two types of people.

1. Those who have enough money to build big farm and also install solar panels
2. Those who have 100% free electricity in their home or country

Some few graphics card are still profitable, they are less power hungry and more effective like

1. Gtx1660 super and ti version
2. RTX3080 and higher .
3. AMD RX5700XT
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I was fooled by Ether Classic on: November 28, 2020, 07:33:39 AM
Judging from this news it looks like ETC will carry all the Hashrates from ETH miners soon and that can make ETC be more scarce and add good value too, I'm starting to guess that ETC sees this as a chance and they grab it instantly, very soon ETC will be the most profitable altcoin to mine, just a hunch

Next time make sure you take the doubts to the team themselves, ask them in their social group to be 100% certain if they are really going to switch algorithm or not
173  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Good hot wallet recommendation on: November 27, 2020, 07:17:03 AM
would you recommend some good hot wallets?
If bitcoin is the only coin you want to buy and hold them go for electrum wallet but if you are looking for a hot wallet that supports many altcoins the best one is trust wallet, mind you there are fake Electrum wallet on google playstore, you should try downloading through official website https://Electrum.org
174  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Watch out for Crypto Faucets! on: November 27, 2020, 07:06:41 AM
This is a very popular trick and I don't expect anyone to fall for such, faucets are completely free just like airdrops, you get paid for some few clicks and the faucet manager make back his money through adverts and banners, this explains why so many faucet websites has many ads displaying on them and to get a proper click you have to watch and skip the ads, asking for deposits is scam
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins are complete shitcoins this time around on: November 26, 2020, 08:46:53 AM
Not sure what this "altcoin season" is, but its true that when the price of bitcoin starts to rise all those shitcoins starts to pump their coins tricking people into investing in those coins. And lets not forget about those DeFi hype that is going on. Even dead projects are adding the word "DeFi" to revive their projects and it is working for them! People are falling for those trap and investing in those shitty projects. I remember reading few articles about how some DeFi projects already exit scammed people. Won't be surprised if we see more scams like this.
True it's so shocking how some projects with different use case end up adding DeFi out of nowhere this year, such projects shouldn't be patronize if you are smart, every projects are trying to take advantage of any new hype in crypto space, it shows that the team are scammers, now that bullrun is here we will see even more scam projects
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: November 26, 2020, 08:34:52 AM
The answer is NO, 2020 still belongs to centralized exchanges, decentralized projects are very popular in 2020 but it comes with full disaster, too many DeFi projects are failing or probably get hacked easily, and DEX exchanges have too many complains and only centralized platform see less bad results this year, if I recall correctly only Kucoin got hacked
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are centralized projects more reliable right now? on: November 25, 2020, 08:07:43 AM
Even centralized project could easily get hacked. I mean, forget about these small half-assed project remember the exchanges breaches. I'm pretty sure those exchange invested heavily for their security but see? they still got breached by the hackers.

With that logic it's only normal that these defi projects which supposedly have lower funding will have exploit or hole in every corner although that's not a reason to justify the hacking or security breach.
The only way to lose funds on DEX is buying the wrong or fake tokens but if hacks happens on top centralized exchanges you will get your money back, that's the power of top exchanges, they have a backed up funds just incase something bad happens, binance exchange for example, I trust centralized exchanges more right now
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are centralized projects more reliable right now? on: November 25, 2020, 08:04:47 AM
Reliable in what way? If doing their job right is what you meant then i totally agreed but don't play with your funds on Centralized exchanges just because they offer the best customer services, you can't trust centralized exchanges with your funds, but every other things apart from funds ( no access to wallet keys ) Centralized exchanges performs better than DEX
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stable coins for bounty hunters on: November 24, 2020, 07:32:30 AM
Asking new projects to pay bounty hunters in stablecoin or escrow will never work, not all new projects will approve such and that doesn't mean they are bad or scam projects, bounty managers like Hhampuz and bubbalex have never introduced any Escrow bounties before and they always bring high quality projects, if a bounty manager reputation is damn good the project team will have no choice but to pay so instead of finding stable coin paying bounties spend your time looking for projects from reputable bounty managers
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Pi network - KYC is needed to use it! on: November 24, 2020, 07:28:59 AM
I'd relax and wait patiently for Pi Network to list on exchange before trying to mine, they've waited for too long and no updates now they claim KYC will be needed to mine their tokens? Is the project now centralized? This project team aren't making any sense at all, mining with KYC is a big Red Flag for me, sorry I still don't trust this project
