I cant see the expected payout on the webpage.
Not that it gave a very accurate indication of what to expect anyway, but it was better than nothing.
Is that something that is being worked on at the moment?

And Merry Christmas to all as well.

Same here.?

Wait, how do you get credit for your reservation fee?

you don't... the reservation fee doesn't apply to purchase price.

its just that, a reservation to be able to purchase at a certain price point
Well that's lame. OP should probably update the first post then, as the cost of the miner is not $500 and you cannot get two SP20's for $1000

It was explained early on.

for 500$ with shipping included ? SP20 all the way !
S5 has no room for OC, while you can use SP20 at 500w and 1000 GH/S and also use it at 1600 GH/S for 1200 W !

I bought 2 previous through Holiday deal and reserved 2 more in this GB, I can tell you once you get one in your hands you will want more.
I have S2's, S3's, S3+'s, S4's and Tubes and hands down the design and build alone of the SP20 is heads above anything else currently out there (haven't seen a S5 yet). You won't go wrong with this GB.

Who cares, at 500 each with shipping included it's a pretty good deal. Keep 1 and sell the other.

Nicely informative and documented review, and I agree with your title.  Smiley

It's just the envy in them that is raging! let them cry Grin

Agreed, excellent marketing move, could it be jealousy that it wasn't thought of first by someone else?

P.S.
I am very happy with the SP20 I recently PURCHASED.

Thanks for the answers Biodom, DevonMiner, and Wh00per appreciate it. For some reason it didn't like my DHCP server (Sonicwall NSA 2400 Firewalls) I actually had to pull off network and use a Netgear to get the miner to pull an address so I could configure.

Quick question, have a new SP20E tweaked to run 1500 GH happy with it and the settings so......

Running firmware 2.5.31 any advantage to upgrading? If I do upgrade do I loose my static ip and or voltage settings?
Thanks

I think that you have to measure watts at the wall with kill-a-watt or something similar.

Good point I will try that, I actually have one of the meters around the office somewhere. Now you got me wondering how big difference is going to be.

the 775 should be devided by .9 = 850 watts maybe 875 watts

Thanks appreciate it, I will take that for 1.5 TH.

Quick question, have a new SP20E tweaked to run 1500 GH at 775 W.

Care to share the setting you used to achieve that ?

Sure,

Fan: 90% (It is inside at room temp)
Starting volts: 0.72 all 4
Max volts: 0.725
Max PSU: 280 all 4

PSU = EVGA 1300

Quick question, have a new SP20E tweaked to run 1500 GH at 775 W. Temps are green although 2 are at the 115c limit (loop 1 & 3)  so don't want to increase voltage as the go to yellow.

Running firmware 2.5.31 any advantage to upgrading? If I do upgrade do I loose my static ip and or voltage settings?

Thanks

Yeah we're over 2PH at the moment ... not sure for how long but anyway Smiley
Edit: OK it's quite variable - we'll see where it ends up ... it was 2PH for the past hour but it's now dropping again.

I was just going to ask you what was going on, we were 2.2 ph for awhile there. Antminer was even back for awhile.
Yeah I only woke up shortly before my post - he's rearranging his setup - it may be a little while yet until it's all sorted.

is lightsword dropping in and out?

I don't know but it is wreaking havoc on my projected payout. Don't want to bitch but my payout is down 30% plus from what it was this morning and we are back down to 164 TH. I appreciate the extra hash but need to build in some safe guards to prevent this hopping in and out.
