I also have this homegrown monitoring dashboard. It's really poorly written and a total hack, but it's good enough for me. If anyone wants it, I'll post to github as is with a short readme. I posted elsewhere with an older version here in the forums, but it didn't get a lot of traction (which is probably good, because like I said, it's poorly written).

Note that as edonkey said, almost all of these stats are not particularly useful, but it's kinda fun to look at.

Block!

What did everyone (that uses ckpoolmonitor.zachmonroe.com) think of the updated notification email?

This is great!

Still rooting for you guys to make good on the work I have left that hasn't dropped off the 5n.

2 questions about the stats function

1) if I hit a winning share, say 75G, will my stats page ever actually show that? (Best share resets every time a block is hit right?)

2) is there perhaps a different URL that gives hash rates in raw numbers vs suffixed numbers? (2500000000 vs. 2.5G for example)?

Well everyone, it's been nice mining here, but I've had some hardware failures and the only chance for making any profit for me is a nice big jump in BTC exchange rate or to hit a block solo mining. I'm taking the latter. If I hit one, I might be back. Or maybe if I buy some new HW. Good luck y'all. Hope you don't miss my 2400 GH too much.

What hw you using to get your 2400gh? What's your power cost? Just curious.

Well I was using 2x SP20E (a little underclocked) hosted off-site at a cost of ~ $0.11/kWh. But one of the miners had a recent issue and now half the ASICs don't work (only 2 out of the 4 loops are functional). It was iffy whether I'd recoup hardware, hosting, and shipping costs but with a little help in the difficulty department (aka no return to exponential increases, maybe a few decreases) I calculated maybe 9-12 months more for ROI. Now with half a miner non-functional I don't like my chances.

Note that I was calculating ROI in BTC terms, not USD. A sharp increase in exchange rate will send me back here as well though...

I'm not sure about how to resolve the conf. file problem. BUT... Don't bother trying to "Restart" cgminer from a running instance. It is a LONNNNNnnngggggGG know fact that, that particular function "ReStart" is/has been broken. If you NEED to ReStart, your only choice is too "Quit" and run .exe again.

not sure if youre talking about windows, but the only time ive ever had this problem in linux is when the hardware has malfunctioned.

Got my 2 sticks. Working great out of the box at stock frequency with cgminer 4.9.2 master with xnsub patches (initializing as AU3-GS10000). With this setup theyre hashing happily alongside 2 old Rockminer R-Boxes. For a whopping total hash rate of 82G or so.

Probably wont get to tweak them until this weekend. Looking forward to it though.

Had some HW fail. Only chance for any sort of profit for me is to hit a block solo mining. Pointing 1850 GH here in the hopes I hit a block sometime in the next 6 months. My calculations say my chances are about 1:12 or 8% for that to happen (factoring in 5% diff jumps at each change). Can anyone comment on if I've run that number right?

Site is working 100% for me. I can view all stats, workers, graphs, etc....

OTOH, I feel like I need to post this picture again for this great pool.  Wink

Holy shit is that your mom? She's hot. XD *Not off topic at all*

My mom?  Grin Ugh no.... Shocked Cheesy

Just a hottie in DC.

You're in DC metro too?

Does cgminer-gekko come with xnsub for nicehash or do I need to patch it in myself?

Any plan to merge novak's compac driver back into master?
Unfortunately we don't "suck code" from others, they "push code" and we accept it after making suggestions, so no.

Got it. So once it's mature he'd push back this way then possibly you merge it if it looks acceptable?
Yep.

I doubt it looks acceptable yet, it's pretty much the half of icarus that I wanted plus some initialization.  I intend to clean it up more when I add multi-chip support.

But I do plan to push it into cgminer so it's available.

Awesome, thanks.

Can we have a restart please?  Cheesy
No restart required, as stated above, you just found our next block Smiley

ROFL.. WOOHOO!! Wink

More like  Grin AMIRITE?

Your pool better pay better than Eligius ;-) I would say ;-) /cheers ...

Edit: it will not ;-) BUT your Reply/Views ratio is impressive in this thread ;-) so I will stay at Kano.is ;-)

It DOES.

I second that

Novak do you intend to push your changes back to cgminer once they are final?

Available with free shipping from Amazon now:

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00N4TL5GM

Now listed at 30 + 16 shipping. Is that a mistake or was free shipping a limited time?

Any suggested powered USB hubs from Amazon? I'm running out of ports on my eeepc.

There's a few suggestions in other threads (click quote links for context and discussion);

I use this one for my stick miners (I run 4 nanofury sticks, soon to be replaced with 4 Compacs): http://www.coolgear.com/product/metal-7-port-usb-2-0-hub-w-din-rail-mounting-kit-japan-nec-chip

Don't forget to also look for a fan for cooling;

One of the things that has always pissed me off about buying electricity is one never knows "how deep" one is in till the bill comes in.
Doesn't give me any current usage feedback and consequently the ability to trim usage to stay within a budget.

First 5 years I lived in my house I made all my electricity with no grid tie backup.
And did NOT live like "Grizzly Adams" (Big screen TV, Microwave, Surround sound stereo, forced air heat, etc. . .)
Was very apparent when consumption rose above norms.
Electricity cost here has tripled since Dec 2005 (the date I ran in grid power) and am re-visiting generating all my own power again given the current trends.

Pretty sad statement when the end consumer can generate electricity cheaper than multi-billion dollar companies.

There are some realtime usage monitors with Wi-Fi interfaces. http://www.bluelineinnovations.com/features
