Bought some "Lifetime" hash power just to see what would happen. 7 months later I no longer recieve any payments and it says I don't have any hashpower, even my order for the hashpower has been wiped but transaction history is still there. Don't know what happened but I sure wasn't close to a ROI anytime soon.
If you ask Genesis Mining they will probably tell you that fees were higher than your payout. Sorry for you. Spread the word : GM isn't profitable. By the way : Good news everybody. G-M sell delusion to its customers , for example ZEC 1 years contract cost about 0.046 BTC, daily earning approx 0.00015 zec , with current price of zec i need 10 years to recover my initial investment.  |

Genesis Mining is committing daylight robbery. I mean it sells contracts to investors knowing very well they will lose money. Why does the company continue providing a service which make investors lose money? As far as I am concerned Genesis Mining is one big scam. Its directors are crooks and fraudsters and should be prosecuted.

As previously stated. They know they are selling worthless contracts. They hide that fact behind obfuscated language. But they know, and they know for sure. And their founder is sipping mint juleps on all the fraud proceeds! You guys call that scam. I call it FRAUD! It needs to be stopped. So what's the plan on how to transition from being an XCP asset? Are you using the same list on the darkclam site to make a brand new genesis block, or is there gonna be some kind of exchange? No that's not profitable. That's them giving you back 1/425th of the money you gave them, each day for 425 days. It's called "back where you started". Unless of course, it all goes to shit in those 425 days and the famous "fuck off" get-out clause gets invoked. You are wrong : It's not profitable because difficulty of the network will go up too. So your 1$ revenue will be less and less with time, until the fees cancel your contract. And I'm ready to bet with you it will be before you ROI. |

I just found out today (my second day of logging in), that, because I am a US citizen, I can only play for free. **pouts** That really sucks... Not that i was going to deposit anything for a while, but yeah... It's not like our government acknowledges Bitcoin as anything, I mean they certainly don't accept it to pay them in taxes... so... **shifts eyes and mumbles something about greedy-tax-slurping-bastards**
Some people suggested some ways around it, but heck, I don't know how to use proxies or anything like that; besides, it's kinda cheating the rules at that point.
The best (and nearly trustless) way around this is to use a VPN to connect to PD. Your IP address will make it appear as if you are accessing PD from a country that you are not actually in, one that they allow people to play from. I don't think that is legal though. If it's illegal to gamble online with BTC in US, using a Proxy/VPN is probably illegal. I don't think it is illegal to gamble online with BTC in the USA. PD was just affraid of USA possibly asking questions about their profits. |

Genesis Mining is the most trustfully, and really own miners. Cheaper services, like hashocean, Hashie, zeuminer Hashlets, piggy mining, are all gone,.. ponzi scheme`s died whit in a view months or so. Genesis Mining is still there, providing there reliable service, they are not the cheapest, but they do what they say they do. Whit-out Genesis Mining i had to pay 0.235 euro cent for kw/h Seriously Zeta  How can you advertise for Genesis Mining on a Genesis mining scam alert thread ? Stop it please.
