161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is DEAD for small payments, Bitcoin Cash is the FUTURE on: January 19, 2018, 08:54:29 PM
I believe in ethereum, in my opinion bitcoin will exist for several more years, and then it will go to retirement. The future of ethereum should be promising.  Smiley
You almost read my thoughts. I also think that bitcoin will retire in a couple of years. It's time to give way to younger and more promising coins.  Cheesy

Bitcoin will remain king, all these coins are weighed up against bitcoin. And bitcoin will go through it's needed developments as well.
What if btc all of the sudden adds smart contracts?
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where to sell ETH? on: January 19, 2018, 08:51:03 PM
Why not sell it for bitcoin and use the exchanges or services you normally use to cash out your bitcoin?
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH or Waves? on: January 19, 2018, 08:43:23 PM
I would definitely go ethereum if I were you, I currently don't even really see waves as a competitor. Waves might have more growth though.
164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP is the best crypto safe haven? on: January 19, 2018, 07:42:01 PM
A safe haven would suggest the price holds pretty good when bitcoin for example goes down, the past few weeks proved that's not the case yet.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: eth going strong on: January 19, 2018, 07:39:36 PM
I could not imagine that Ethereum will grow to $1300. It is really going very strong. Of course it fall down at the moment but it is temporary.
I'm sure it is temporary. This news from asian countries makes great advantages for their crypto holders. I think we will see price more than 1300 bucks in the future after Chinese New year

At least 1200 I think, along with a rising bitcoin, going back to a healthy 15000. Wink
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Classic on: January 19, 2018, 01:35:17 AM
I've been holding on to a few of them since the fork.  I sold them off early for around $5, wish I hadn't.  But long term this coin will not be able to compete with ETH  Cool

I think so as well. Ethereum is on a whole different level, ethclassic can't keep up with them.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: MARKET IS CRASHING : WHAT'S YOUR THOUGHTS ? on: January 18, 2018, 06:20:55 AM
Many coins will recover soon, I am pretty sure of that.
I have actually bought a decent amount of coins today since they seemed to be on sale.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why did YOU decide? on: January 18, 2018, 06:17:32 AM
I always go for a solid foundation, like good features and good devs. Preferably with a fair coin distribution.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum will overtake Bitcoin on: January 18, 2018, 06:16:04 AM
Honestly it wouldn't be such a bad thing for my portfolio if that happened. But I just can't see ethereum going up like that in the near future.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: who hate altcoins ;) mostly eth on: January 14, 2018, 11:34:32 PM
I'm not hating on alts at all. If anything I feel they are forcing crypto to advance faster. Of course we all dislike the scams, but scams also occur with bitcoin.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IS CRYPTO TRADING ADDICTION? on: January 14, 2018, 02:42:29 PM
I don't think it's the trading in itself that is addicting. Maybe it's the hunger for money Smiley
Would people trade and care this much if bitcoin was worthless and didnt have value?
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alts are Bleeding What To Do? on: January 14, 2018, 12:35:26 PM
There has been some blood in the streets, but alts that are down 30-50% now aren't the best projects to invest in I guess.
Most decent alts are - 10-15% now.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this Altcoin the new Microsoft of blockchain! on: January 14, 2018, 12:32:48 PM
"the new microsoft of blockchain". Some of the things posted here are just hilarious to read. Grin
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: new airdrop Altair VR on: January 14, 2018, 12:28:56 PM
Good, 2 more coin threads I don't need to look at and participate in. Good luck dumping these.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we OK with paid shills? (links inside) on: January 14, 2018, 12:22:45 PM
Aslong as people disclose they are being paid then I'm not concerned, in the end it is a form of marketing even if the word sounds rather negative.

But of course they don't disclose they are getting paid. There wouldn't be any use left in them shilling if everyone knows they are getting paid and just talking out of their ass.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dezentralization: ETH vs. BTC on: January 14, 2018, 12:19:41 PM
Bitcoin is more decentralized although it's arguable how decentralized it is looking at the hash of some mining pools.
One example with eth, the whole dao fiasco, look how they pushed the update through, they decided everything themselves...centralized.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: January 12, 2018, 10:24:22 PM
Bitcoin is going mainstream, has a rare supply and is hard to get. Combine that with the current demand and you get high prices.
178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bittrex Support is out of order! on: January 12, 2018, 10:11:29 PM
i think this is the problem with every exchange they such a big usersgroup but nobody to support this. i have raised tickets with 3 different exchanges non of them answer within the week.

one week is normal but i wait 10 weeks and after 4 weeks no more reply this isnt normal and due to the circumstance  of the raising usergroup unacceptable. They earn every day millions.

I agree, with all the money they are making from trading fee's, advertising etc etc, the support should definitely be better.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do I need to sell all alts? on: January 12, 2018, 10:07:00 PM
Keep the altcoins you believe in, and just try to get profit with the pump and dump meme coins and such.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buffett on cryptocurrencies on: January 12, 2018, 01:31:56 AM
I really wonder if Warren Buffett truly understands the underlying technology behind crypto and bitcoin, something tells me he doesn't Wink
