i can confirm this
thoose fans are very weak...
but they are cooling dragon lketc with no issues.

coolermaster jetflo are much better choice, but i think not enough too

i will test new fans hope they arrive today.
162  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [5000 TH] Slush's Pool (mining.bitcoin.cz); TX FEES + VarDiff on: September 07, 2014, 09:13:32 AM
I think only a few like polmine and discus fish are PPS now, but they charge a lot for it.

polmine pps (delayed until block is found, no ripoff) fee is 1% and you get mm NMC so it evens out

i am mining at slush with asicminer tubes (4.2 TH) and i lost half of yesterday payouts due to 20 min miner maintance (not tubes fault). this is plain stupid.
unfortunatelly i am forced to choose between ghash, slush and btcguild with tubes...

169  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Guide] Dogie's Comprehensive ASICMiner Tube Setup [HD] on: September 04, 2014, 07:42:57 PM
great guide, dogie

have you encountered problems with controller saving settings?
i can save only when hashing cable is disconnected or miners are off. (i got 5 chained)

have you noticed randomly chips going off after longer operation?
soft controller rebot wake them up.

i got 39/40 thermal pads, is it normal or am i unlucky ? Wink

can you measure hashing speed, power consumption and temperature at diffrent frequencies?

any hints on undervoltage those boards? in few months/weeks they will mine less then power bill.

175  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMiner Tube Sales Information Thread [Round2, Price Down to <1btc per TH/s] on: September 04, 2014, 09:48:52 AM
@friedcat

i have purchased few hours ago. I would like to ask if its possible to use 2x 650w in 1 asicminer tube? phasebird told me its possible, i just want to make sure if it is. and regarding the shipment, usually how long does it take to receive the tracking number?

Thanks

i use 2x xfx 550W with no issues (single rail 12v)
176  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: btcgarden-AM-v1 down to $0.68/GHs. In stock for international selling! on: September 04, 2014, 06:35:13 AM

177  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMiner Tube Owners Thread on: September 04, 2014, 06:31:18 AM
Suggested/recommended psu? 10 psu is needed for a moq set. It's going to be a wire jungle ! Can the dps2000w support 2 miners 24x7 ? Looks like a little to close to psu max output. For stock settings i think 1 only 1 pcie needs to be connected and 2 if oc? Not too sure myself so owners please confirm.

I am using xfx550 80+ bronze as pair per miner.

Bought them cheap, like 40$ each.
