161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: 10k investment on: March 18, 2024, 02:04:50 PM
Ten thousand dollar investment should not be invested on any one coin but investing on multiple good coins would definitely be profitable and risk free. However, a $10,000 investment portfolio must include Bitcoin.
While I agree in the latter but disagrees with the former. Because there is a good option by investing only in one coin and that's with BTC.
People still sees it as something not reliable nowadays because they're seeing the hype with meme coins. Once the market goes into bull run, sure a lot of these meme coins will definitely going to crash.
162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trend or long term projects? on: March 17, 2024, 08:05:15 PM
Trending altcoins are good for short time profit but not all trending altcoins will be profitable!
This is the truth with the new trending projects, they're good mostly for short term gains and the profit that you'll get from there should be considered as good as it is. And, you need to be wiser on how you'll distribute that to other assets when you want to reinvest them back to the market because if you're not going to do such with it, you'll be stuck with that profit and you will eventually going to spend that to your wants.
163  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Buying/Selling & Using Bitcoin in El Salvador. on: March 16, 2024, 09:52:22 AM
I know about the news and it being made legal tender, but has anybody first hand experience of using btc in el salvador?

Can you simply go to a money counter, atm, restaurant, and buy/sell/use btc?

news & reality are mostly different things.
I have watched some videos that you can use it to pay services despite that many citizens still not aware of what btc is.
The one that I have seen is able to purchase from the locals and pay it with btc and get to pay the bills. Just like us, they're normally using it with anything that we can purchase with it despite not being there physically.
164  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Should trading be for the rich? on: March 15, 2024, 08:06:21 PM
The truth is to be successful in trading one needs enough equity. Starting with little money will not help at all, instead it will expose the trader to take high risk which may end up closing the trade. But if there were enough capital they will be able to manage risk by using low lots size and high money for trade. It will also increase balance and reduce unnecessary pressure.
Starting with little amount will help you understand that this market is very aggressive. That's the help that I am thinking and the lesson you'll gain from it is kind of helpful to you if you ever decide to pursue it.
But if it's about growing with small amounts, you'll have hard time in doing so because the market is too volatile and you as a trader that want to grow that amount might have hard adjustments from it.
165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: I cant transfer LTC from bitget to coinbase on: March 14, 2024, 08:18:00 PM
The first thing you must ask is the support for you to know the actual reason why you're getting this. As for the format, it's likely what that 'address' is specifying.
But if the address that you have from Coinbase is right and you just pasted it on your bitget account then it should be fine. So, if you can't give more details or what's the actual address you've used then ask the support for further information of that error message.
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your altcoin holding with low value on: March 14, 2024, 11:02:28 AM
If it's the verge of having no value at all then just hold it and hope that there might be something good to happen.
Because it makes no sense to sell it at loss but if you think that's still money for you then take that small money and just forget about that altcoin you've been holding.
With my experience, I am in a loss with some specific altcoin and fortunately, it is starting to recover.
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which of the Wallet is the Best For Ethereum? on: March 13, 2024, 08:31:22 PM
the old Metamask is still the best for it. it works and there are many reasons to use Metamask especially if you plan to connect the wallet to some webapp and some platforms that request ETH wallet like the Uni or 1nch. and with Metamask, you can switch to different networks as well to which of the same wallet address you can store different tokens.
Is there an issue with the new metamask? AFAIK, as you've said the latest with the current metamask is that you're able to do some switching in other chains with it and I think it's a good feature that they've added unlike before that it's just pure ETH and ERC20.

there are other phone wallet but i'm sure you may find it hard to trust them too for same issue about hacks and close sources.
I will avoid most of them if they're published in google playstore and app stores. Just for my own safety and for being paranoid.
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: March 13, 2024, 07:24:51 PM
I don't want to put that much risk with that money. I'll still buy the conventional ones like BTC, ETH and other top altcoins that are on my radar.
The rest of the money, I'll invest it to some businesses and investments outside the crypto market like real estate since that amount is more than enough to have multiple rental properties.
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Are new altcoins being too risky? Current market trend on: March 12, 2024, 04:42:39 PM
Investments are always risky and it is not possible to predict in advance when to invest.
I disagree, you can predict when you should invest because you have to do your own research for it. Don't say that it's impossible to predict when you should invest in advance because it is possible as long as you have money and idea when to do it.

However, there is a lot of hype in Memecoins right now so this hype can end anytime.  So before investing in all these coins you must research and study the coins well and then invest.  One thing to remember is never to invest all dollars on one coin.
Yeah, DYOR or don't get into memecoins for your own safety even if there's a hype on it.
170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Meta Platforms says goodbye to NFTs into Facebook and Instagram on: March 12, 2024, 10:25:51 AM
It's too late when Meta(Facebook) turned into this NFT game on the last bull run. They didn't anticipate that this could just waste their resources.
I think there were attempts to get on it for so many times but it seems that this thing isn't just for them. I've remembered seeing Zuck posting about NFTs once but his interest didn't nourished.
171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is right time for investment ? on: March 11, 2024, 11:13:40 PM
Because they don't want to experience bad investments again. A lesson is there and that will make them look after with the existing ones that have been in the market for a very long time.
A bad investment will make someone learn from it and will never get into the new projects because the impression that they got there will last and they don't want to happen that again.

The general assumption that we hear is that if one BTC goes up then other coins will also go up, even though in the process we also lose a lot of capital.
That's what we always tell because it's the truth but it's not always happening at all times. The BTC might pump as much as it can but the others won't be able to follow its lead.

At first glance, there is no need to worry too much, even though one day the price will recover and return to the initial purchase price. but, in my opinion it's tiring of the mind and a waste of our time in vain if especially if we jump into buying coins in a new project, it's better as you say, stick with existing ones that have been on the market for a long time maybe that's better and more precise.
Right, that's why if you just want to have a peace of mind and you're an investor then just buy Bitcoin. You don't have to worry about it trying to figure out things about it because it's already well established.
172  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Layer 2 projects worth watching now? on: March 11, 2024, 08:51:03 AM
You never can tell, once the team is good, community support is decent coupled with exposure from platforms ( bitget etc) op mentioned and bullish market sentiment. Any good token will fly.
I somehow agree with that but not everything is going to fly on this bull run. Some may do it temporarily but it all depends to the demand from the community.
Despite devs are going to be good with what they work on for these L2 projects. The value of the tokens that they work on will still depend on how welcoming the community is and that's what it will show with its demand reflecting the price of it.
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you still Invest in the potential heartbreakingly AltCoins? on: March 10, 2024, 11:05:05 PM
Being a bitcoin maxi won't hurt you at all but there are investors that realizes that there are quicker gains with altcoins.
You can decide what to invest and bear the losses and enjoy the profits later on. Because you are the one who's going to choose and pick your investments and you're also the one to decide when you'll sell them in profit or in cut losses.
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: is right time for investment ? on: March 10, 2024, 07:35:25 PM
Any investors that have experienced losses from new projects before, he or she will never make new projects their target because there are some projects people have earned profits from in the past and if they still invest, they will still earn more profits from the bull run.
Because they don't want to experience bad investments again. A lesson is there and that will make them look after with the existing ones that have been in the market for a very long time.
A bad investment will make someone learn from it and will never get into the new projects because the impression that they got there will last and they don't want to happen that again.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Altcoins to invest right now on: March 09, 2024, 07:28:25 AM
what about NEAR
NEAR for me is a good one based on the progress that it is getting as I track them on their website and with a lot of services that they offer.
But if you're thinking that you'll get a x1000 gain with them, I don't think that you'll ever see that on this coin.
Most of these gains comes from the hype and meme coins.
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $26,000 to invest, any suggestions? on: March 08, 2024, 09:03:12 PM
If you already have some projects in your mind then do it. As long as you did DYOR on it, it is going to be placing 10% of your portfolio.
That's not a lot honestly but I understand why you want to invest into low cap coins because the return might be greater if its market cap increases.
177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why not try out a less popular but promising token? on: March 08, 2024, 11:25:49 AM
cost? scam? believe? Data cocoon room? This is probably why we are afraid to buy new token. So, starting tomorrow, I plan to take the first step to learn about an unknown token. Everyone is welcome to recommend, and the flag is here. Grin Grin
Good luck. We're scared to buy new tokens because many of them are prone into rugpulling and I don't want that to happen to my money. I still invest in new projects but I don't put that much money on it and only an affordable amount that I am able to lose.
While this is a common strategy that many seem to be able to hit the lottery with their investments but I don't recommend that for myself because I am a conservative type of investor.
178  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump Bitcoin over $70,000! on: March 07, 2024, 12:07:07 PM
Shiba Inu is currently at 0.00003147.  It has been hovering around 0.00001000 for over a year.  It ran to 0.00008845 a couple years ago, and I don't think it had any reason to do that aside from being a meme coin.  It's got room to run, we just have to make it run up!  Smiley
Good luck, many altcoins are pumping now mostly with the memecoins.

It has room to nearly TRIPLE from todays value without even setting a new record.  Manufacture a reason to bounce it off 0.00010000 !  :O
It can triple based on what you think but I doubt it that it is going to be that easy and will be quick. It's still far from the ATH that it has made. But no one will never know if that triple value that it has got will come anytime soon but good luck.
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why we need to buy meme coin? on: March 07, 2024, 12:28:53 AM
Meme coin has changed some people life stories that invested at early stage and been patent enough to hold for a long time and today because of the price difference has become millionaires, which is Doge Coin, Shiba Inu, Pepe Coin and so many other meme Coins has been a profitable business. Hence you can't take the risk of investing in meme Coin, then leave it and focus on Bitcoin with a stress free investment.
Many of those have became rich with memecoins. But I think that many have also changed their lives backwards in a manner that they've invested due to the hype and they're late investors.
Let's just count all of those that have became wealthy and millionaires in memecoins but it's not for everyone that shall become rich with memecoins. They deserve it because they take the risk but not everyone that takes risk with memecoins are going to become rich.
180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run within Q4 of 2024? on: March 06, 2024, 10:58:53 AM
At present no one can say exactly how much this halving bitcoin price will increase. But I can say this with certainty that the highest Bitcoin price increase will be very likely this year, because Bitcoin price has broken its previous record in the past. But this 4th halving will surely set the price of Bitcoin to its new record and it will reach 6 digit price. I think the price of Bitcoin will definitely occupy somewhere between $120k to $170k.
We started too early with the bull run so I am also expecting that this is going to end early too and may not last until next year.
$120k-$170k is already high and I am one of those people that will start selling when it happen to see on that price.
