161  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: May 04, 2019, 04:02:50 PM
The videos shown here visualize the propagation of blocks and transactions through the Bitcoin P2P network. Each dot on the map represents one peer, which has announced a specific hash to our monitor peer. The peers appear on the map at the estimated time they announced the hash to our monitor, i.e., the time we received their announcement minus the average latency to the peer.

162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will you stake your token to make profit? on: May 04, 2019, 01:41:58 PM
From staking, like masternodes, they always have a negative and a positive side; the positive one is obviously given by the number of coins that you can have "for free" betting your own in the wallet, but if this "gift" reaches many% high levels then almost certainly the Coin / token chosen, after an initial peak, will inevitably suffer the great inflation due to staking, causing heavy losses for the last investors to enter.

In my opinion, staking should not exceed 2-3% monthly or 50% per year; in addition it would be dangerous and can only be used to speculate with the coin / token for a short period, choosing the right entry timing.
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex International & IEO on: May 04, 2019, 09:42:11 AM
Believe me when OCEAN IEO will over and investor will lose at least 10% - 20%. An IEO before ocean has been telling the investors if IEO that runs on bittrex is not having a lot of potential. IEO season will not over until there will be an evidence the whole of IEO sales will bring investors to the lose.
Then I think that will be our time to buy ocean at the low price and I hope that the price can get down too deep and give me a chance Grin
I was too late to buy the previous IEO, and I am curious about what happened with the IEO project.
I think there will many other IEO project that wants to list on the bittrex since bittrex still be a larger exchange.
Gladly, I already pass KYC, so I think if I am not too late, I can buy the IEO project.

LOL you are buying the IEO tokens buddy not the complete project. Like Bitrex you can do the same at binance and pass the KYC. You may make some money on buying some worthy tokens there on IEO launch.

Please look carefully and invest on the IEO. If the project is really worthy investors and exchanges will easily accept but some good projects are also failed to accept and launch as IEO. Lets see what is the future of ICO which is sinking now.

In my opinion the market and investors are not yet ready for a new season of investments, both ICO and IEO are the next STO .... it is still too early.

With IEO, unlike the ICO of the past, there is only one advantage: the guarantee and the certainty that the money you "invest" does not go to scammers but to people who have developed a project and an idea, which is carefully evaluated from the exchange, before entering the market.

Returning to Ocean Protocol it seems that, for now, the failure was total:
ico price      0.25 $
ieo price      0.12 $
listing price  0.03 $     for now

I believe that, except for a few selected projects, in which obviously it will be impossible to enter, it is better to always wait for the listing on the exchange!

With the entry of the ASIC to the market in a very short time, how do you think the price of Grin can react?
Likely a sharp fall in the very short term, until it reaches the bottom and cost of the mining itself, to then finally restart and find its balance?
165  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: [INFO] +MERIT. Come funziona il sistema di premio on: May 03, 2019, 09:29:00 PM

166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: the Veil Project Mining- Privacy without Compromise on: May 03, 2019, 12:58:50 PM
I recently discovered the Veil project, I bought a quantity of them and I also joined the signature campaign here.
I believe that 11% a month from the POS is quite high if what other users say is true, I will do my tests and check in person.

Regarding mining, does anyone have any table to calculate Roi with the different cards on the market?
167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: VeChain (VEN) Next Billion Dollar Crypto on: May 03, 2019, 12:05:47 PM
Vechain is an awesome crypto currency but I have some doubts when you are saying a billion dollar company. There are only 14 coins that have achieved this goal and if to be honest, I do not believe that VEN has such a big potential.

In fact you are right my friend and you are right to have doubts, and I tell you why: $ 1 billion for VeChain will be nothing when all the partnerships are up and running within 2-3 years.

I believe that few really realize the enormous potential of this Chinese society; I tell you that within 2-3 years from now, VeChainThor will not touch $ 1 billion but will touch at least $ 50 billion, or at least $ 1 in Coin; obviously it will be an Ath and then maybe retrace (as do all the coins), but it will come to us .... it also marks this post among your favorites!
168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex International & IEO on: May 03, 2019, 10:04:30 AM
anyone knows how much bittrex ask as listing fee ?
is it very expensive and hard to jet added ?

Officially Bittrex does not ask for any fee for registration in their exchange, but we cannot be sure of this, because we do not know what really happens behind the scenes.

Back in the topic, it seems that the IEOs promoted by Bittrex fail to break through like those on Binance and other exchanges; even Ocean at the moment does not seem to have great success, and in fact after about 3 days from the beginning of the offer it has collected "only" 90% of what is offered.

Is the IEO season over, even before it starts?
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: May 02, 2019, 09:15:28 PM
Exchange Binance is already now bigger than Okex; an exchange is not only evaluated with the volume that it does every day, also because it is almost always false, manipulated and rigged.

Binance was the first to introduce IEOs, the second after Coinbase to allow the purchase of Crypto with a credit card, and many other things have yet to come, such as leverage and loans.

I see Binance today as Amazon 10 years ago .... it has yet to express much of its future potential ..... $ 100 will be just the beginning!

170  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: BITCOIN PUMP! on: May 02, 2019, 01:04:23 PM

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH: Deep crash before going to the moon? on: May 02, 2019, 11:34:32 AM
Already ETH has crashed a lot in the market to below 90$ from 1300$, now slowly the price of ETH is recovering which how many days it will take nobody doesn't know but in the coming month, we might see some drastic increase in the price for sure.
True, crash is over and now it's time to go back in good times again.
We already witness its low and therefore we should not expect for ETH to dump again, that would not be healthy anymore.
When it was at over $1,000, we did not expect it will dump below $100, so let's not make the same mistake again, expect it will rise to over $1,000 again.

Actually, when we see it go up to $ 1000 then it will be just the beginning of a new big rise ... it means that the worst is over and a new bull run is waiting for us, and $ 1000 will be only its long-term support .

172  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Bearish or Bullish? Here my thoughts: APRIL UPDATE on: May 02, 2019, 08:57:41 AM
Excellent analysis as always Filippone; now more and more the bullish rather than the bearish sentiment prevails, and also several graphical indicators seem to turn positive, but nevertheless I believe that we still have to witness a last big downward leg before a real and healthy restart.

We will see the real point towards the end of the year and the beginning of 2020, with the approach of the 3 halving, where a price recovery will necessarily be required.

174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: STABLECOIN: comparison and opportunities on: April 19, 2019, 06:19:08 PM
I have repeated several times, also elsewhere, that I personally consider Dai and its MakerDao ecosystem the best of the Stablecoin releases in the last 2 years; but this does not mean that it is 100% reliable and I would not recommend putting all your savings into one stable, but it is always preferable to divide on more coins.

175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☑☑☑[ANN][BSD] BitSend - online since 2014 - Bittrex - Litebit.eu on: April 18, 2019, 10:45:55 PM

Last week i received 9 bsd, and today i received 8 bsd.... This looks like a sort of countdown....

Does this means that we will have 7 more weeks of airdrop?

Thanks for the long lasting airdrop campaign i've ever seen!

The team has not yet made a final decision on this topic, although the question has been raised several times.

In the last few months many BSD have been "spared" for the airdrop because many users have been excluded from it, from the 1000 users reached, as they didn't respect rules and requirements .... therefore the team could also decide to extend again for some month the final airdrop, to get to hit the number of BSD initially planned.

We have to wait and hope.
Meanwhile, I thank Limx Dev and team for the best airdrop here in Bitcointalk!

177  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bittrex International & IEO on: April 17, 2019, 05:10:42 PM
The main and fundamental purpose of IEOs, considered by many to be the new fashion of the moment, is to guarantee greater reliability of the companies that collect money; if an exchange, like Binance or Bittrex or Huobi etc. , decides to promote a company, selling its offered tokens in its exchange, it is assumed that the exchange itself has carried out an analysis of the team, the company, the project, etc. going to evaluate and identify if they are real, reliable, serious ... operations and evaluations that few users are able to do individually.
Moreover with the IEOs in the exchanges the operations of Kyc and Aml are made only once in the exchange itself, and are not provided each time to different companies and teams, with the risk of seeing their personal data lost or stolen or sold.

Having said all this, I will mark the 2 IEO on offer on Bittrex International: OCEAN PROTOCOL

We are thrilled to partner with Bittrex International to conduct an Initial Exchange Offering (IEO) for the Ocean Token which will commence on April 30, 2019 at 1800 CEST / 1600 GMT / 0900 PT.

The IEO allows the customers of Bittrex International to acquire Ocean Tokens for use on the Ocean Protocol platform. For the IEO, 56.4 million Ocean Tokens representing 4% of the total supply will be offered at a price of $0.12 per Ocean Token.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2823701.msg29069897#msg29069897

179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XLM] Stellar - Decentralized trading platform on: April 17, 2019, 09:26:21 AM
I have created a post about the fake airdrop. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5126883 is the link of my post can you let me know either it is doing by you or it is really fake as I am thinking?
I am not sure exactly why did you get such email from stranger. Stellar is a big coin, we have all known the reputation of Stellar and its role in crypto. Nevertheless, I don't tend to jump to airdops that required KYC verifications to get airdropped coins or tokens. Mainly because I don't want to disclose my identity to so many third partites, even with good reputation coins.
Not only I have received that email but also that email received by a lots of people I think scammer wanted to stole fund or something else. They sent email by BCC which means they added a lots of person on a single message.

Still believing in fairy tales and small change given away with airdrops sooner or later will bring sorrow and loss!
NEVER, NEVER, NEVER open files that you don't know the origin .... especially when it comes to money and crypto!

Returning to the topic, below is a masterful article that analyzes what STELLAR is, its potential, its alliances, and a detailed analysis of the short-term price .... and a prediction from a heart attack for the long-term price, by 2020-21 .... which I personally do not exclude (myself elsewhere I called 30 $ for Stellar by 2021).

And finally, 14 months after the genesis block, SAFECOIN introduced and presented the world's first Multi-Asset Transactional Consensus Hardening (MATCH) protocol, which introduces SafeNodes.
The MATCH protocol is already active on the SafeCoin blockchain, at a very small scale.

A brief explanation, with a demonstration of its operation and its future prospects, in the link below
