Well, this is a good opportunity for small investors but still not very small investors because it is fixed 25 eth which is not very small number still way affordable comparing to 100 eth.
25 ethereum isn't small for some people including me. But it may preferable for the other one. I am waiting for the next opportunity with less amount required. For some users and people even 1 or 5 Ethereum are many but this does not mean that the team has to solve and satisfy everyone's requests; this is impossible. Given the success of the sale, I think it is already a miracle to be among the 200 lucky that Ethfinex will draw for the new private sale, and I also believe that there will not be a new sale with a lower entry threshold; we will have to be content to buy on the exchange the 1 day of listing, hoping not to find a very high price |

Bitfinex is a big exchange but can you name recent ICO listings on the platform that has helped the price because I can't name one, Bitfinex is wallowing in the FUD surrounding Tether, even if you looked at the Ethfinex platform the trading volume there is very low, just hope the exchange is not losing ground with its competitors Not that many ICO's are listing on Bitfinex anyways. I thought Bitfinex made a public statement about the Tether FUD? Any statement will release Bitfinex will always be his, and therefore managed for his interests. To completely and definitively eliminate the FUD on Tether, and consequently the fear for the Bitfinex exchange, it would require an external audit; in this way everyone could view real and certified data, but until then every declaration and announcement will always be evaluated with suspicion and fear ..... rightly! |

People have debit cards, I know exactly. But they announced yesterday that there is no way to get a card if you live not in EU. Making an announcement is very different from actually offering the product .... we are waiting for some users to show us a card! |

Beh, Diciamo così, per rimanere nel paragone, è come se avessi comprato la macchina (Bitcoin) e poi dovessi chiedere le chiavi (chiavi private) a qualcuno (Exchange o ETF) ogni volta che vuoi usarla (fare una transazione Bitcoin) . Se la macchina è tua, ma se per usarla ogni volta devi chiedere il permesso a qualcuno non saresti un proprietario di serie B? Non si tratta di sapere cosa c’è nel motore (blockchain) , come funziona la meccanica (wallet e crittografia) e cosa è l’impianto elettrico (mining, PoW): si tratta di chiedere il permesso di guidare. Certamente puoi pensare che forse sei distratto o non sei esperto a tenere d’occhio le tue chiavi. Hai paura di perderle, o che te le rubino e quindi le affidi a qualcuno credi più bravo di te a conservarle (exchange) o qualcuno di cui ti fidi (Banca). Anche questo significa essere proprietario di serie B. Conservare da soli le proprie chiavi è faticoso, necessita cura e studio, ma la ricompensa è grande: poter guidare quando vuoi e dove vuoi, senza dover chiedere permesso a nessuno (sovranità finanziaria individuale). Molti pensano: intuisco che bitcoin è il futuro ma lo conosco troppo poco per fidarmi di me stesso nel gestire direttamente le chiavi private, quindi investo (magari anche migliaia di euro) lasciando i bitcoin in un exchange. Questo fatto è sconsigliabile perchè ricalca un modo di pensare che funziona in un sistema regolamentato ma non nel mondo bitcoin: se io penso che Apple fa dei buoni prodotti, anche se non sono esperto, posso investire in Apple comprando delle azioni tramite la mia banca. Una situazione di questo tipo, seppur discutibile, è ancora sensata poichè l'intermediario di cui mi sto avvalendo (la banca) offre un certo tipo di garanzie. Nel mondo bitcoin la situazione è ben peggiore, visto che gli exchange non offrono certe garanzie paragonabili a quelle delle banche. Anche se la situazione su questo punto sta cambiando, visto che iniziano a delinearsi forme più garantite di investimento. Ma per favore no exchange! Ho evidenziato le parti in grassetto, per me più significative, per far capire il mio pensiero e riallacciarmi al discorso che facevo; quello che intendevo riguardo all' utente di serie B è che questi si affideranno alle proprie banche che, tutte entro un tempo relativamente breve, gli offriranno il conto crypto affianco al conto di trading. Quello che credo cioè è che le banche offriranno ai propri clienti un conto corrente dedicato per la custodia delle crypto ( conto crypto) che faranno pagare profumatamente e che offrirà garanzie e sicurezze particolari; da qui avremo quindi il vecchietto e la casalinga che, pur non conoscendo assolutamente nulla di crypto, blockchan, blocchi, hash, etc., "investirà" in questo nuovo mercato, gonfiandone a dismisura il valore; questo può piacere o no, ma è quello che io vedo in un futuro non troppo lontano. ...

Due o tre di queste aziende potrebbero far capo allo stesso titolare e se questo volesse nascondersi probabilmente noi non lo sapremmo mai. Ma così facendo magari lui potrebbe superare la soglia del 51%.....
Questo sarebbe un rischio enorme, ma nessuno oggi se ne preoccupa seriamente. In questo senso dicevo che non esiste oggi un sistema completamente trustless: almeno di questi aspetti ti devi "fidare".

Il problema del 51% esiste se lo possiede chi vuole affossare il progetto. I miner non hanno interesse ad affossarlo quindi, anche se fosse uno solo, non avrebbe interesse a dare discredito. Può anche darsi però che i miner usano la carta del 51% operando un bluff per portare e dirigere mercato e investitori dove loro vogliono, e che magari si sono posizionati con calma e per tempo....vedi ad esempio la "lotta" tra Btc e Bch.

I think that after having the various hype on token with Masternode or with POS to Roi elevated, then we have moved on to have hype on decentralized exchanges, now the moment has arrived of the hype on the stablecoin, and maybe this is good because may significantly lower barriers to entry to the market, thus leading to massive adoption of blockchain technologies.
