161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Litecoin - a lite version of Bitcoin. Launched! on: January 31, 2018, 03:39:31 PM
A legenedary post by a legendary user. Really great to see charlie also contribute to the entire community on bitcointalk.

Really glad this was implemented. So much spam these days. Asian users are creating several 100 users each. Big farms just to level up users here. That will stop now.
THANK YOU whoever made this happen
163  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Top Privacy Coin of 2018? on: January 31, 2018, 01:30:08 PM
Monero is the king and will continue to be so. DeepOnion seems to be mostly hype to me and I think it will die out after the airdrop. Verge developers seem to be a little bit unreliable, they finally released wraith which is a big step forward but it took a long time. XSPEC is the one that I think can rival Monero if any but as said I think Monero will remain the no 1 privacy coin.

You are obviously a monero guy, and I understand you. But you are not anonymous with monero! Your ip is revealed to the network whenever you make a transaction!
Deeponion is definently not hyped at all. It's only a 30-40 M$ market cap coin, how could that be hyped? Verge is hyped!!

Regarding the airdrop of DeepOnion, no it will not fade out after. Sure some will sell their coins, but look at the features instead. This is where a coin will truly shine. I would not be amazed to see Deeponion on top 10 next year with all the features that the coin have. What do verge have? monero? nada

Anyone know of a POS pool ?? Would be great to come together to maximise those POS coins.
Solo POS mining is not getting anywhere...
165  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How safe a ledger is? on: January 29, 2018, 08:58:47 AM
The ledger is not safe at all. With a ledger you have to backup the seed phrase. Well good luck with that.
With a paper wallet, you can at least encrypt the paper wallet so if it gets in the wrong hands...

so avoid ledger
166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: HTMLCOIN (HTML5) NOW AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC on: January 29, 2018, 08:06:10 AM
so the coins name is html coin, and yet it has nothing to do with html? This just makes no sense whatsoever. Please pick good coin names instead!
167  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin on: January 27, 2018, 12:21:55 PM
It would be pretty easy, and I allready think a lot do. However, it would be better if they accepted an anonymous currency so they could evade taxes. I meen nobody knows how much you earn when doing porn, so it could be easily done
168  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: January 23, 2018, 08:23:01 AM
Im not going to tell you or anyone what wallet I use. Scammers and hackers are reading these forums, and always wants to steal and scam. Soooooooooo dont tell it
169  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] DeepONION ⚡ TOR ⚡ DeepVault 🚀 Cryptopia 🚀 Airdrop 28/40 New Thread 🚀 on: January 20, 2018, 04:22:09 PM
ICO's are so last year. Deeponion started distribution of coins in 2017 via the airdrop method. Lots of coins have copied this approach because it's much better than ICO.
There are still airdrop rounds left, so join in on the fun (link in signature).

Also if you still love ICO's so much more, just take a look at this article and I'm sure you will be convinced

170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡[ANN] TOKENPAY ⚡ THE WORLD'S MOST SECURE COIN ⚡ TOKENSALE DECEMBER 7TH ⚡ on: January 20, 2018, 04:13:05 PM
So it's not possible to mine this coin? Is dev team mass mining this for themselves now or what?
Also I read somewhere that this coin is just forked from XSPEC, is that true?
171  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2018, Forecast Top 10 crypto to invest on: January 18, 2018, 08:04:44 AM
Ripple is not a crypto currency. It's just regulated fiat on blockchain. It's amazing that anyone would buy that coin, I think it's the banks that are pumping it, and taking all your bitcoins so they can dump them as well
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you keep buying? on: January 17, 2018, 06:54:38 PM
yeah im buying tons of coins. This has got to be the best january sale i have ever come across!!
173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] DeepONION ⚡ TOR ⚡ DeepVault 🚀 Cryptopia 🚀 Airdrop 27/40 New Thread 🚀 on: January 17, 2018, 12:19:14 PM
I'm holding onto my coins as well. Makes no sense to sell now - airdrop is not even finished yet. Once airdrop is over, coin will take off
174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ⚡ [ANN] DeepONION ⚡ TOR ⚡ DeepVault 🚀 Cryptopia 🚀 Airdrop 27/40 New Thread 🚀 on: January 15, 2018, 08:08:47 AM
Glad to see so many newbies interested in the project. I'll advice you to go to deeponion.org and read about the airdrop, and visist the forum, you wont regret it. People are really nice in there, and you can learn a lot about deeponion, and why it will be the standard privacy coin in 2018.
175  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [XSH] TOR/i2p, Quantum proof, MN, PoS/PoW, Fully ano, SHIELD on: January 15, 2018, 08:05:35 AM
is this the coin that copied the code from the xspectre project? so a clone more or less?
or is it brand new thinking?
176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: will sia coin hit $1 ? on: January 15, 2018, 08:03:46 AM
yes it will. Sooner or later it will hit that price. It's one of the few projects that have a very high impact once it goes mainstream. Imagine when it becomes the default!
177  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: why so many currencies? on: January 13, 2018, 03:51:54 PM
It's really a simple question, but the answer is very complex. In reality there are perhaps 100-200 different coins, the rest are clones of the real coins. Each dev team makes their own changes to the code to improve the coins features.

It's actually pretty logic. The hard part is finding out what is a shitcoin, and what is a real coin.
Genereally speaking, if the dev team wants you to invest money into their coin, it's usually a scam. So dont. A real coin with potential, is distributed fairly to all.
178  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin drops $2,000 in value as South Korea announces planned trading ban on: January 11, 2018, 12:35:38 PM
Its ok. All the short term traders are moving out of bitcoin to USD and EUR. What they dont realize is that USD/EUR and other fiat, is the real bubble.  Bitcoin is totally undervalued when you think of the limited supply. come on - 21 million coins!!! there is not even enough coins for all the billionaires in the world.

relax and hold and you will not regret!
179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just became a millionaire on: January 10, 2018, 01:04:34 PM

180  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mark Zuckerberg is looking into cryptocurrency ::) ::) ::) on: January 10, 2018, 12:30:52 PM
Not sure what he plans to do. I doubt he is going to make facebook money based on crypto, so it's probably just a start up he is thinking about.
but it meens blockchain is here to stay!
