I am not in the mod to think about next round. I don't even have the courage to look at the table.

Premier League Predictor
my picks: 2 / 10 20%
Community Avg. 3.33 / 10 33%

You did worse than the community average

Lol. why? You're still in third place and only moved down one place after that round. I only got 2.5 points more than you last week.

You're not trying to manipulate us to make the wrong picks are you?  Lolol.  j/k.  Grin

Lol. Nah. It's me who usually goes with the wrong picks. I think I'll have to stop going with draws for more than a few games as they're costing me too many points.

How about that Sterling late tackle on Dele Alli that got only a yellow.  Meh.

I've seen them given and it looked worse on the replays but it wasn't intentional. Dele Ali got to it first and his foot knocked the ball away and therefore Sterling missed it but he couldn't really pull out as he was committed. Personally I think the yellow was fair and a red would have been harsh imo but I can see why people think it should have been a red.

Edit:  And VAR out...  IMHO.

I don't think they should get rid of it completely but they need to change how it works. You absolutely cannot let the game continue on for multiple minutes just to pull something back. The VAR in the City game was the correct decision but don't let them play on. As I've said before, don't check everything and give the team three appeals each. If they want to appeal then the game is stopped to check.

Has anyone seen the next round of fixtures? They're split over the 8th to 17th but it's another round of nightmare games to pick in my opinion:

Everton v Crystal Palace
Brighton v Watford
Sheffield United v Bournemouth
Manchester City v West Ham United
Wolverhampton v Leicester City
Southampton v Burnley
Norwich City v Liverpool
Aston Villa v Tottenham Hotspur
Arsenal v Newcastle United
Chelsea v Manchester United

A lot of bang average teams are playing each other and lots that are going to be hard to split. Man City are probably the only team playing at home I'd back straight away. Liverpool should win at Norwich but I'm just waiting for the week they take their foot of the gas and slip up. Norwich are rock bottom of the table but they can easily get out of it.

The other bet was Tottenham to get over 2.5 corners when they already had one corner awarded in the first half. In the whole 2nd half they were able to manage to get only one corner. What a waste of money.

Corners are a weird one. Sometimes there's loads and in other games hardly any at all. I used to put bets on like the enhanced accumulator offers of things like both teams to score, each team 2 corners in each half and each team a 2 cards each or something and it was always the corners that let me down.

I saw interesting fact somewhere in social media. If Liverpool will win 6 upcoming games (Norwich, West Ham, Watford, Bournemouth, Everton and Crystal Palace), they wil become EPL champions before April. Yes, you heard it right, before April! And guess who would have to honor new EPL champions in the next game? Offcourse it will be Man City Cheesy

Interesting. Will that be a record? I wonder what Klopp will do if it's in the bag so early? Will he field a weaker team yo give them games or keep going for the points record. Maybe he won't even turn up like in the cup haha.
1603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 02, 2020, 06:19:23 PM
Spurs are 2-0 up with minutes to go so I don't think I'm going to get the draw on this one. Five minutes injury time left now. Only sojourner backed the Spurs win and he's currently got the score right.

Most of peoples fail to have good points in this round many strange result
It was a strange Matchweek, half the games ended in a draw...And it's 0-0 at the Spurs Stadium fow now :/

I just noticed that @Hhampuz didn't submit a scoreline for the Spurs vs City, meaning that even with just 1.5 points so far, i will not win the wooden spoon this week *phew*  Smiley

Well it depends. You get a handful of deferred picks if you miss games where they put a score in for you. If that's the case you could end up losing still. I remember one round where someone got more points than me all from deferred picks lol. That's really rubbing salt in the wounds. Hhampuz might not have any left though.

I just noticed that @Hhampuz didn't submit a scoreline for the Spurs vs City, meaning that even with just 1.5 points so far, i will not win the wooden spoon this week *phew*  Smiley

Man these last three weeks have been brutal.. I've been raking in like 1.5, 4, 1 points IN A COMPLETE ROUND.

Yuk, just about given up too.

We all have bad rounds. I've had a couple of next-to-no points and got the wooden spoon recently. Just part of the game. You can still play for consolation prize spots as well. A good run of form can also really send you up the table especially if others have a bad run.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 02, 2020, 05:39:50 PM
Well one game down as a draw so far today and the Spurs/City game is currently 0-0 at half time. Bit of drama in that game as well and it was getting pretty heated towards the end. VAR gave a penalty 2 minutes after the fact. Loris saved it, then he arguably took out Sterling in the follow up. City wanted another pen and Spurs wanted him to get another yellow and sent off for diving. The ref didn't give either. Probably the right decision as it wasn't really clear what happened from the var. The first one was a penalty though but allowing play to go on for two minutes before it's pulled back is ridiculous.

If any team was  capable of ending Liverpool's invincible run, it would had been Manchester United but don't understand what happened the day they played, Manchester city aren't capable of taking even a point. Liverpool will still defeat then without much stress.

Manchester could have got a draw in that game. As Ollie boasted, they were still in the game right until the last kick of the match. United definitely could have got the equaliser as well and they played pretty strongly in the last ten but obviously the second goal in the last minute of injury time sealed it.

Are there any extra points if someone wins a yellow cap and in just next round wooden spoon?
I can't believe whats happened here.

You can have an imaginary fall from grace point from me if you want  Cheesy.
1605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: February 01, 2020, 08:22:15 PM
Well. This is what I call me just not being able to get it right. Of course, the one time we actually make it to 3-0 Salah goes and scores another haha. But hell, I'd give up my points any day to get Salah another goal. Hattrick of assists for Bobby, man we tried to get Minamino to score didn't we?

Anyway @hilarious you turned out to be right after all for 2 draws out of the 5 you picked. Congrats on the 2-2s for the few who did. But tell you what, Watford and West Ham should have won their games... but for 2 minutes of madness on both halves' injury time for the former and an own goal on the latter. Damn! What a Saturday of entertainment though!

Four draws out of the total 8 games. Shame I only picked two of them right. A late injury time goal in Watford - Everton cost me another draw though and the rest were only won by one goal apart from the Liverpool game where I picked 2-0. Manchester United - Wolves was another draw in the late game. Went with a 1-0 home win but you can't back United anywhere these days. I suppose they were equal on points before and after this match and Wolves are no push-over this season but United should be doing better.

Anyone going for both draws on the games tomorrow? Still undecided but I know if I change them from draws then they'll both come in haha so might as well stick to my guns.

Southampton actually played really good - especially in the 1st half. The thing is - Liverpool is just way too good.

I know I sound like a broken parrot - but this team is unreal. They look unbeatable.
I too feel that I sound boring when I am talking about Liverpool. Too predicted LOL

Someone was saying that they will have hard time. I knew they would not have much hard time. Yes, Southampton was good enough in the first half to restrict Liverpool not to score but I knew that it will backfire the Southampton team and Liverpool will take revenge in the 2nd half which they did. In the 2nd half I was expecting over 2.5 goals and all from Liverpool and they did it after breaking the deadlock of 1st half.

Liverpool is the too good for any other team in EPL this season.

If Liverpool lose I doubt it will be at home. Maybe City will grab a point or three in April but I don't think I'd back them to win but too early to tell. Liverpool have Watford at the end of the month which I don't think will be easy but they've lost their last two games now. And then there's the Merseyside derby in March which is always interesting but Everton aren't playing great but did beat the aforementioned Watford today.
1606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 31, 2020, 11:27:11 AM
So is anyone else not looking forward to this round predictions wise? There's like seven matches where I can't split then and I've provisionally gone for the draw. I'll have to change some though after further research. All these could be close:

Leicester City - Chelsea
Bournemouth - Aston Villa
Crystal Palace - Sheffield United
West Ham United - Brighton & Hove Albion
Watford - Everton

I really can't back any of those teams to straight win.

Leicester City & Chelsea are right next to each other in the table and have both been shaky recently. Bournemouth & Aston Villa are separated by two points only and are both fighting relegation. Crystal Palace & Sheffield United united are separated by only three points. West Ham United & Brighton are another two separated by only two points and again fighting relegation. And then there's Watford V Everton. I'm tempted to go for a close home win but Everton are the better team but not one you can bank on so again, a draw is looking like a good option. Fuck's sake. This is going to be one of those rounds where there'll be a few draws but it's just pickingh the right fixtures which is very hard to do.

And then of course there's Burnley - Arsenal & Tottenham - Manchester City on sunday, which I can also see being close. City and Arsenal should win, but the games being away is making me worry.

Did he create that account because he didn't want to dirty his other one any further with inevitable negative feedback? Would he have even created that account in the first place if his main one hadn't been left negative or he was worried about getting more?

Would you trade with TOAA/Cryptocunter? I know I wouldn't, even with escrow and a reshipper I still wouldn't spend $1 with that punk, so no matter what account it should still be tagged, main or alt. Anyone dealing with a user who is that mentally retarded needs to be warned.

Techshare is just a wanker as I said and I don't actually agree with people tagging him. When we start talking about the likes of Thule and those loonatics then warnings are fair game IMO

Bit of a loaded question though. Would I personally trade with TOAA/Cryptocunter? No, but there's lot's of reasons for that. I wouldn't trust him to not try get one over me in some capacity, but that doesn't mean he's a scammer or would attempt to scam me and I haven't seen anything to suggest he would do such a thing. I probably wouldn't envision any problems with him and another neutral third party though, but if others were concerned of that without any evidence of anything shady a neutral should suffice as a warning of his problematic behaviour. I probably wouldn't trade with timelord either and certainly don't trust his judgement, but I don't think that means he's deserving of negative and a neutral if anything would be appropriate in that case if I was to leave anything.
1608  Other / Meta / Re: theymos could you sticky your intent on the reputation board on: January 30, 2020, 05:18:32 PM
People seem to be leaving feedback based on well this guy is a troll so he obviously can't be trusted

Techshare is a prized cuntsmouth of a troll but I wouldn't tag him for that as he has had many successful trades and can be trusted to do as he says he will, I wouldn't believe a word he posts but I would buy something from him and be secure in the trade. Then you have the likes of TOAA, imagine a shipment going missing from him? fuck that, the total fucknugget would make the whole process so painful, so newer members need to be warned about his general behavior on the forum

Well these are two perfect examples. I disagree with a lot of stuff tecshare says but I don't think he's a troll and I don't think he deserves the negative feedback he's received. I agree that he seems to be a trusted trader so his opinions and whether you disagree with them or not shouldn't effect his ability to trade here but people seem to be leaving him feedback because they've been rubbed the wrong way by him. TOAA is obviously an alt account made as a throwaway to antagonise people without fear of retribution and to spare his main account and obviously has no interest in trading here, but that also leads back to my first point: Did he create that account because he didn't want to dirty his other one any further with inevitable negative feedback? Would he have even created that account in the first place if his main one hadn't been left negative or he was worried about getting more?
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 30, 2020, 04:11:12 PM
Liverpool should get awarded for being the best team in the world.
They have an amazing winning streak and I don't remember any team in the premier league winning the title since December. They are so ahead and they have already got the title.

Best team in the world? It is exaggerate imho. Just because they have great record on EPL this season, it does not mean that they are the best in the world. I can say they are the best team in EPL in the last decade but I cant agree that they are the best in the world unless they can prove more outside EPL (Champions League).

Who is the best team in the word then? They're certainly better than City right now and I'd say they're even currently playing much better than Barca, Real Madrid and Bayern. Of course it's subjective as to who is the best much like who is the best player and it's certainly up for discussion, but winning the Champions League is usually a good barometer of that, especially if you couple that win a domestic league win which is obviously almost certainly going to happen this season. If they're not the best then I'd say they're in the top 3-5 easy. Let's see how they fair in the Champion's League and if they win that again then there's no doubt in my mind that they'd be the best team in the world.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 30, 2020, 03:47:26 PM
@hilarious: totally missed your video clips but have watched them now. Sky and BT proper thinking Klopp's got to be there, and I'm really leaning to that as well -- but at the same time I have heard all about Klopp and his thoughts from BVB, and I remember times like Houllier's heart attack I don't know. I think people can make calls and we'll forgive them no matter what.

I'm not familiar with that specific situation but if he hasn't got a good excuse like a prior engagement already booked or a personal tragedy he should be there and just not wanting to go isn't a good enough one in my opinion, but I guess he's free to protest or make a point if he sees fit.

There are some completely on his side though, maybe because it's ESPN? The panel's take: https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/28570719

Seems like nothing new on the horizon. Nothing from last night's press conference I could see either. I'm hoping he changes his mind somehow, cause now that I see Villa in the final and City's form, I'm thinking, we could really have won that!

Everyone's seemingly got an opinion of it. A lot of people do think there's too many games to be played as well or there should be more breaks for teams in places but that's a different argument all together. Maybe it will open up a dialogue about things that need to be changed. A lot of people are saying replays should be abolished and the games just decided with extra time and penalties etc, but then people are saying that replays are great for smaller clubs who get a huge boost to their finances so it's swings and roundabouts.

Another easy win for Liverpool, we have beaten all the teams in the league now. West Ham was the only one remaining, only because the match was postponed Grin

I think they play West Ham in a couple of weeks again but at Anfield this time, seems weird but must be because the one last night was delayed.

They do on the 24th. West Ham have Man City away as well next week. I don't think that will be pretty  Cheesy
1611  Other / Meta / Re: theymos could you sticky your intent on the reputation board on: January 30, 2020, 03:24:03 PM
It seems there is a growing disagreement/misunderstanding on the appropriate use of feedback, I know shocking. Hell I might even be the one who misunderstands how feedback should be left, though I feel it's fairly self explanatory.

I think theymos has already stated how people should use it, and users really need to stop leaving feedback for 'trolling', especially after it's someone they've got beef with or just disagree with. There are some idiots on this board and ones I often strongly disagree with but that doesn't mean they're trolling or should have negative left. I might make exception if there are people who come here and have no business other than to try troll and harass people but I think people are stretching the definition of what theymos means here:

You should give these ratings for anything which you think would impact someone's willingness to trade with the person, but you should not use trust ratings to attack a person's opinions or otherwise talk about things which would not be relevant to reasonable prospective traders.

People seem to be leaving feedback based on well this guy is a troll so he obviously can't be trusted and I don't think that's right. You might not trust them because of their behaviour but neutral probably seems more appropriate here unless there's very strong evidence that they can't be trusted to trade with.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 30, 2020, 10:15:06 AM
Out by a mere one goal again. I was the only person that went for 0-1 as well so could have done with the three points on that one. Surprised more people didn't go for 2-0 as only seven got it right. Man United didn't play bad in the EFL semi. They actually won but only by one goal and not enough to go through. Was expecting them to get hammered to be fair. City did have two goals disallowed though. I'm sure Ollie will be signing about that "victory" for a few days at least.

Does anyone know if Klopp said anything in the pre-or post match conferences or anywhere else about the upcoming rematch in the cup?
1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 29, 2020, 07:45:06 PM
@examplens
Look at this ACCA with goals & Liverpool to win  Cool

Maybe too much, but I played just that one  Cool

I'm really not as sure as you guys on all these goals and adding all that stuff in seems like overkill haha. Especially at those odds.

Back again after few days break. I did not have much football all these days. Was real busy with some personal assignments.

So ultimately I have done the damage for me in the pool? After several consecutive bad rounds I am paying my price of going down to the 4th place. I am seriously sucking on my picks from long days.

A couple more good rounds and you'll be back up there.

Agree with hilarious here. Full of mad respect for Klopp and I've always known him to be a super cool/geeky, respectful guy. I know if he misses the game, it was for other reasons, and not because he disrespects the FA or Shrewsbury. To be fair, yeah, the winter break is a new thing and everyone deserves to have already made plans and NOT cancel them to play football. And I know myself how family will kill me if I suddenly had to go do something for work (unless it was life or death) so I'm sure he said those things because he was angry at the replay date.

But yeah, to just not show up because you don't want to, would be a disservice to Shresbury if not anyone else. And I know Klopp's not like that.

I think it will set a really bad precedent if he's awol for it. I really like Klopp. Not only is he one of the best managers but he's likeable and completely unpretentious with no ego, but if he just decides not not to go he's gonna lose a few cool points with me (unless of course he's already got prior engagements). Hopefully he'll change his mind and those comments were just made out of frustration in the heat of the moment which I understand given the circumstances. Ferdinand doesn't seem too happy with it though: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=24EKDtArkOA

Also a round-table discussion with Danny Mills, Paul Merson and Carlton Cole on the possibility of Klopp missing the game as well that's worth a watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Yv4zs10Gd0s
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 29, 2020, 12:30:27 PM
I didn't realise the last game was a draw. I was tempted to go for 1-1 on this but I'll probably still go for the narrow Liverpool win. A lot of people seem to think Liverpool will stuff them but I'm not so sure. Guess it depends on the team that gets put out.

Last result 1:1 is from 4 Feb 2019. In this period, many teams play draw against Liv, they loose title because of these results.
Maybe I am wrong, but I really think that West Ham can't score against Liverpool, not today and not this team. I watched his last game against Leicester, which they lost 4:1.

Oh, it was last season. I thought it was from the beginning of this one. That changes things then. Like I said, I probably won't go for the draw anyway, but I just have a feeling Liverpool are going to lose a couple of points to some shit team away at some point. West Ham fighting to stay out of the relegation might give them that extra boost as well, though even if it did maybe they're still no match for Liverpool. The line-ups will decide what I go for but I'll probably stuck with 0-1 unless Liverpool put out a fairly weakened team. I was going to watch the game but I see the Manchester City - Manchester United EPL semi final is on at the same time and I think seeing City stuff United will be more enjoyable  Grin. The reverse fixture was 3-1 so I can't see anything other than another City win here.

1616  Other / Meta / Re: Can we please fix the thread subject hijacking? on: January 29, 2020, 11:41:25 AM
I get your point as most people who do this seem to use it as a tool for trolling, though sometimes they are funny, though it is often also annoying when loads of people start to quote the changed header.

This flaw is too often abused.
I ask this seriously: is it really abused that often?  Maybe I haven't noticed it because it's a problem in sections I don't visit that you do (like P&S, which I think you post in), but I haven't seen members changing the thread title all that much.  Or it could be that I'm just not paying attention to it since there's really no need to.

Not often, but it is another angle people use to attack other users when they want get another dig in and it can take things off topic.

Somehow I can't see it catching on

How about also not being able to change the usernames in quotes as well?  Grin

There are two opposite sides of the allowable option to modify post title inside threads:

Advantages:
  • OPs or the other posters are able to modify post titles to mark changes of projects (developmental upgrades, future plans, ie.), campaigns (Open, CFNP, Full, ie.), etc.

Disadvantages:
  • There are many different post titles inside one thread, from OPs, or from the the other posters, that might mislead new guests.
  • It will probably cause uncontrolled trollings, ie. that is what TECSHARE asked for changes.

It seems like a lot of people don't bother reading before posting. Nothing I am suggesting would prevent people from modifying subject headings anyway. All I am requesting is that replies automatically mirror the subject heading in the original post, which may then be edited if so desired.

I dunno. Is this feature even necessary? The thing you seem to be complaining about is a minor thing compared to people using it to just troll. I'm not sure whether full on making it so others can't change the topic title would be better, but when users use it troll maybe those posts can be reported to be edited if they're off topic.
1617  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BitcoinNews.com's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: January 29, 2020, 10:29:02 AM
The Carabao cup was even more winnable and a win would have taken them in to the semis to face Leicester. I know it's not as prestigious as the FA but it's a trophy they could have easily won and now City are probably gonna win that.

Well, for the Carabao cup we had to choose between that one and the World champions. I prefer the world champions because that's the one we never won before and Carabao cup is in my opinion the least important trophy of the season. I don't mind at all that we gave a low priority to it.

Not necessarily. There's about 30 players in the squad so he could have sent either a b-team or split them evenly so you've got two decent teams rather than send a bunch of schoolboys. I think even a b-team of their current squad would have won or at least done better than the kids. As for the cup itself, sure, it's not the most coveted but the Super Cup or whatever it's called isn't really either. Just another cash grab for FIFA really. I doubt people will be mentioning the win a few years from now, but couple it with multiple other trophies they would.

Regarding the FA cup, I have mixed feelings. We are playing at home and we could have decided to go with backup players who are in need of games anyway, they would have probably gotten us through. I kinda dislike the situation in which Klopp sits at home and lets Neil Critchley lose heavily as well. I think that giving players a rest is deserved, ok, but Klopp should be in the dugout. Shrewsbury deserved it with the comeback, this is really disrespectful to them.

I hope he just made those comments in the heat of the moment after being annoyed by having to play yet another game because Klopp not turning up to the game if he can is pretty disrespectful. I'd give him a pass if he's got a vacation booked or something. I wonder what the players think or whether some of them actually want to play it. I know there's a big break so some of them might be going on vacations as well but I'm sure there's a lot of players who would be happy to play.

Today we have the postponed match West Ham vs. Liverpool
Make your predictions on time

The last result was 1-1, today I’m confident in Liverpool’s handicap win and will bet on that too
(-0.5 handicap)
There should be over 2.5 scored goals as well

This is a middle week worth of watch match  Cool

I didn't realise the last game was a draw. I was tempted to go for 1-1 on this but I'll probably still go for the narrow Liverpool win. A lot of people seem to think Liverpool will stuff them but I'm not so sure. Guess it depends on the team that gets put out.

^  Lol.  You weren't kidding there.  Just made my pick and saw you pick 2 - 2.  Cheesy

Examplens picked 0 - 3...  And judging from how hot he's been running, that could be the right pick.  Grin

Could be a bluff to throw people off  Grin. Maybe they put them in and change them before the game (as many probably change their mind last minute anyway). A few people always seem to leave the picks right until the last minute before they put them in as well. BitcoinSupremo, Avirunes & LTU_btc all haven't done them yet.

@hilarious: yeah I don't want to second guess Klopp, he got us to where we are and he knows better than most the weight of expectations... I do wish we'd have gone through cause the FA cup is definitely winnable, and yeah a possible double or treble will make this season incredible. But okay, maybe he does actually secretly (and so do I) want to get that invincibles record -- which will be talked about forever (even the Gooner's one will of course but for Liverpool to do it the way they will if the do, gods all the ifs haha)...

The Carabao cup was even more winnable and a win would have taken them in to the semis to face Leicester. I know it's not as prestigious as the FA but it's a trophy they could have easily won and now City are probably gonna win that.

I'm not sure which I'd take. The treble (which yeah if you include the Super Cup and CWC makes it even more special)?

Or breaking the points total and being the new invincibles and possibly being the team to talk about for many lifetimes? I mean, it's silly to dream of a 112 points haul that will probably never ever be broken, but if you kept the first 11 fresh as possible, it's "only" 15 wins away ha ha ha.

The treble is far more prestigious and difficult to do than the Super Cup. If my calculations are correct then Liverpool need to win 11 out of their remaining 15 games to equal Man City's 100 point record.

I actually believe Trofo's right and judging from Klopp's past decisions, he is pragmatic to a fault. He totally abandoned League Cup when we played our kids against Aston Villa, and IF we win the League early, he'll want to ensure full fitness and freshness for CL so he will play a lot of rotation in the remaining EPL games.

He should have really pushed to have that rescheduled. It's obviously ridiculous to play two games within two days or whatever it was, but I really don't think Liverpool should be giving anything up though. I've said this before, but I think if the PL is the only thing Liverpool win this season then it will be a bit of a disappointment to me (though not taking anything away from that achievement especially when they haven't won the league in ages). People will forget the league win over time but probably not if they go unbeaten all season, break points records and win multiple trophies. People still talk about the invincible Arsenal team and the doubles and trebles won by Man United and Liverpool should be aiming to join them or even surpass their achievements.

@buwaytress - I’m thinking about booking a weeks holiday to Turkey around the time it’s the CL Final because it’s in Istanbul. If we don’t make the final, whatever. If we do it’ll be much cheaper to get an internal flight from the resort area to Istanbul Wink

Just go see whoever does play. A CL final is still going to be a decent spectacle.

My logic is as follows. If they stay unbeaten till May they are already champions. This is the time when champions league gets to semi finals and will be absolute priority.
Absolutely. it's hard to think that a team that could potentially win the treble (CL, FA cup, league) would prioritize an unbeaten run or 100 points over winning silverware.

Btw, does anyone know when was the las time an english team won the treble?

Well they could have even gone for the quadruple had they not blown the Carabao. Maybe even the quintuple if you count the UEFA Super Cup or whatever it's called  Cheesy.

Remember folks,  there’s a match on tomorrow
West Ham v Liverpool
Don’t think there’ll be any argument about the result  Smiley Just who’s gonna pick the correct score.
Good luck all

I don't think this will be a walk-over for Liverpool. West Ham haven't been playing great for sure, but they're fighting to stay out of relegation. This could be one of those games where Liverpool take their foot off the the gas. With that being said, I'll probably still play the narrow away win but a draw is really tempting also.

Haha!
Yeah, I’m not too bothered about the FA Cup these days. Klopp isn’t either hence his team selections, did you see his comments post match? He said none of his 1st team squad will play in the replay & also Neil Critchley will take charge, Klopp won’t even be there Cheesy

We have our eyes on bigger prizes.

It’s the FA’s fault, when they started having the semi finals at Wembley they devalued the competition themselves.

It's silly not playing for this IMO. It looks like there's ample time before the replay on the 4th of Feb and their next game which is on the 15th in the PL. Where the semis are played shouldn't really matter either. They've got such an easy run in their next lot of games as well (except for Athletico in the CL) that they can easily field their best team for this (or their second best but not a bunch of kids).

I must admit the lack of progress in the reporter badges has lessened my desire to report more frequently.
I know I shouldn’t be like that but hey, at least I’m honest.

Yeah, I hope they're just on the back-burner and haven't been abandoned completely. I think it would be a good encouragement for people to keep reporting.

I have also noticed a drop off in reports recently. and I wonder if people got tired of reporting? Regardless, I'd still like to see the updated report stats.
The number of posts per week dropped more than 80% in the last 16 months, from 350k per week to 60k per week. I'd say there's simply less spam to report Cheesy

Well there seemed to be a drastic drop merely in the last few months. I'm talking like going from 1k+ reports in the queue to around a mere 100 or so.  It wasn't that long ago when we were seeing 2k+ as well.

Some of the people who have insane reporting numbers are also the most divisive forum members, and troll or try to troll certain forum members into either leaving or rage quitting. It would probably not be a good look for these people to be wearing a moderator hat.

I don't think reporting a lot should automatically qualify you as that would obviously lead to abuse, but I did also say:
(assuming there's no other shenanigans that they're involved in)
