I wouldn't believe everything wikipedia says. He might not be officially retired as an MMA fighter but if he was still a current UFC fighter Dana likely wouldn't have let him fight as he's blocked at least a couple of fighters from match ups against Paul. I don't think Woodley will be a pushover for him like Askren was. I don't think this will be an easy fight for Paul. It's an interesting match-up for sure.


Anyone who says it's destroying the sport are idiots. Don't watch it and just carry on watching the professionals if it's something you don't like. Complaining that it's negatively effecting the sport is like crying about pee wee or Sunday league football saying it's destroying the sport. It isn't. It's just an amateur alternative.  Even Tyson Fury says it's good for the sport as it gets more people interested and paying money to watch it and it certainly doesn't effect the big players. In fact, it's more money for them when they chose to get involved.

Most bookies voided it if there wasn't a KO. It was a boring fight though. They should have had judges and points. Without them both fighters were just happy to coast it out until the end knowing nobody could lose. Floyd would have easy won on points anyway. It will be interesting to see where both fighters go from there. Floyd said he's not going to fight again but I don't believe him. Wouldn't surprise me if he goes for Jake Paul next. I think there would be more hype/interest for that one given the JP shenanigans and Mayweather being genuinely annoyed by it.


It will be interesting to see the PPV figures or how much the fight made. I'm not sure how many people would have paid $50 for it, but they often seem to never give exact figures so it's hard to know whether something was a flop or not. Floyd has said he's making 10+ million but I'm not sure where all that money is coming from. the PPV was £15 in the UK but I doubt many people forked out for that given the fight was on at 4AM.


So he should be. He didn't get KOd and received millions for dancing around a ring with an all time great. It's a win-win for him as he has the bragging rights of not technically losing to Mayweather and all good promo that comes along with it.

It doesn't matter whether it's 'official' or not. That's just a formality and certainly no excuse for Floyd or LP. If Floyd loses this then it would be a major embarrassment for him and the fans will certainly count it as a loss. Would be pretty cringe if he holds onto the well it was just an exhibition match excuse.

What's too good about it? I'm not sure the PPV numbers will be huge either. A lot of hardcore boxing fans won't be buying it so it'll be mostly Logan's fans bankrolling it I reckon. It's $50 USD in the states and over £15 on PPV here and I can't see many paying that considering it's going to be on at 4-5am in the morning. Wouldn't surprise me if it's a relative flop. Not something I'd pay for or even stay up for but it's the first thing I'll look for in the morning.

He'll get KOd if he does that against Mayweather. It's always the mark of someone who doesn't know what they're doing in the ring. I suspect Mayweather will do what he did against McGregor. Just take it easy, tire him out then probably take him down when Paul lets his guard down or gets too fatigued and the ref calls it off like he did for Connor. I don't care who wins really. I don't think it's an easy fight for him. An interesting one for sure. Woodley has knocked people out before with punches. I think Woodley should win but Jake does have youth on his side but maybe he's a better boxer than many are giving him credit for. If he does win this I'll be fairly impressed. These small bets are ok if you trust the other person but issues can always arise and with the price of bitcoin able to double or lose half it's value within a month so it's a good idea to collect the funds in so people don't run into issue further down the line. Many people will have every intention of honouring their bet but just might not be able to if the price rises significantly or they run into some personal issues.

I'm sure you will watch it regardless of the outcome. I'm not sure why most people seem to be discounting Wilder. Fury didn't beat him in the first fight and he was very lucky to get up at all. Some premature refs would have probably waved it off and he might have even been counted out had he started the count earlier. Regardless of how much he acted like a sore loser after this fight he deserves it due to contractual obligations if not for the best of three. I'm sure Fury would have wanted a the rematch had he lost and you never know how a fighter is going to handle defeat. Some are humble like AJ and others cry about everything but it's not uncommon for fighters to blame ludicrous things. It would be interesting to see how Fury would handle a defeat and I certainly don't think it's going to be a walk in the park for Fury. I actually think Wilder is/will be a together opponent than AJ for him. I'd actually like to see AJ and Wilder fight at some point. Maybe/hopefully it will happen after they've got their mandatories out of the way.

I was kinda hoping you or someone would try reach out to him and/or he would reappear to explain himself. It would have been nice he if just came clean about it all but he strikes me as the person who wouldn't be honest and would just troll further. I an surprised he hasn't reached out to you (or someone else claiming to be him) to try fish out some money from you for the last coin but maybe he's completely unaware of all this. Maybe he's best left be but I hope the law catches up with him at some point. If I can find the info out then law enforcement should be able to as well but maybe they're just not looking for him. I'm sure people can wait another year or so and another year isn't going to age either of them to the point of retirement. Neither are past their prime and are arguably still in it. Assuming the Wilder trilogy goes ahead they can still get the first AJ fight in before the end of the year and it's looking like December is a strong candidate for it. Then the rematch can be done in the new year. As for Wilder stepping aside if he would for a couple of million I'm sure they would offer him that but according to Fury he wants 20 million which is ludicrous so it looks like the fight will have to happen. He was originally contracted for it anyway so it seems only fair given covid. It's still a huge fight and there's not going to be many more options for Fury and AJ once those fights are done and maybe one or both will retire after them.



Well I don't think he got the chance to go out on his shield due the corner throwing in the towel. He probably would have lost either due to KO or points but you never know in boxing. Also, I'm not sure what qualifies someone to be the best and that's largely subjective but Wilder was unbeaten before Fury and held the WBC heavyweight title since 2015. He did nearly KO Fury as well and it was a miracle he got up. The excuses he gave were very petty and it shows what a sore loser he is but it's not uncommon for fighters to pull out every excuse in the book. Maybe Fury will have them if he every loses. The third fight at least gives both fighters the option to put it to rest though. If Fury is confident that beating him again won't be an issue then it should be only a minor inconvenience for him and he's still going to get the biggest payday of his life until the AJ fight happens.

They could just arrange for the fight to happen after the AJ/Fury fight or Wilder could be paid off to delay the rematch, or maybe they could do a deal with AJ that Wilder will fight the winner of the bout if it's an issue of Wilder not being able to challenge for the belts so he will still get a shot at that. I don't know whether the terms of the arbitration deal mean it has to be a title fight with the belts on the line which could obviously be an issue if Fury loses them but the fight does have to take place before September 15th so there's not much time to fit in both fights by the end of the year. It wouldn't be big deal anyway if they delayed the fight anyway in my opinion. AJ could just fight Oleksandr Usyk in the meantime since he's probably going to have to fight him as he's the mandatory and that could end up delaying the Fury/AJ fight at some point as well so it's best to get it out of the way so it doesn't cause any problems. I actually want to see Fury and Wilder fight again as I think Wilder deserves the third match. First was a draw and the second fight the towel was thrown in without his involvement even though he was likely losing or would have lost the fight but a third fight will settle any claim for either party. Once that's out the way Fury can concentrate on the AJ fight (assuming he doesn't lose  ).

I wouldn't pay too much attention to edited clips Logan Paul puts out. He's not going to put out a video of him getting knocked out or struggling to stay upright as he runs out of juice, so he's just trying to hype up the fight and give the critics something to discuss. I'd just take it as propaganda from him but I don't think the fight is going to be the walkover people think it's going to be for Mayweather. I expect him to win but wouldn't surprise me if it goes the distance or Logan manages to make it to the later rounds but Mayweather will outbox him. The weight/size difference and age are all in Logan's favour though so Mayweather just needs to do what he does best and dodge the big shots and hope he gets tired.
