How many points you get so far for the World Cup Predictor promo guys? The current leader has 24 points already and many other participants with 17-22 points. I get 11 points only, what a bad start for me. Of course the chance to win something is still open for anyone, because there are bunches of prize to grab in this promo including the daily prize. Hope to see some of you manage to win something in this free promotion and dont forget to submit your prediction on time, dont be late Smiley

I don't know, it doesn't look that bad to me. I think you are doing great, actually. I myself got only 6 points

But I'm not losing my hope. Smiley As I see I missed 2 rounds already. That was really bad of me. Only got my points from this prediction of mine:

I will try to not miss more rounds in the future(if Russian rockets won't kill me. hearing huge explosions right now.)

Same here for missing the 2nd and 3rd round. I thought that next round of this prediction will be on the 2nd stage of the qualifier.  Cheesy

I manage to get 7 points on this 2 picks and the rest of my prediction is already zero points. Looking forward to a good result for the 4th round for a possible come back to recover some points.
1602  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are some government scared of Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2022, 11:54:58 AM
In my country, It’s volatility is what makes Bitcoin a major turn off for our government to make serious about it. Bitcoin doesn’t have any special acknowledgment but only just an instrument for scam activities since it is commonly use by ponzi group here to scam people in my country. Our own SEC and Central Bank are also the one who gives warning to our people to not use Bitcoin and crypto since it’s risky due to its volatile nature.

I believe Bitcoin as legal tender will need a lot of years before it will be considered by the government. They need something to be controlled so that they can manage the risk to protect all the consumers of Bitcoin.
1603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online blackjack scam! on: November 23, 2022, 10:39:24 AM
I have some experience on this kind of shady outcome on blackjack from evolution gaming. On classic table, I always encounter a random player joining my table when I’m on win streak then do crazy decision making such as hitting at 19 or splitting pair of 20 then the result is dealer always get 21 just because of this dumb action of random player. I think sometimes casino injecting bot player just to destroy the flow pf the cards in case players is on win streak base on the current card arrangement on shoe deck.

Yes, if I'm not mistaken, one casino here has been accused of them, colluding in some tables, specially in poker or blackjack.

But it's just accusation and I don't know what happen to that case, but here, hard to see in the video, maybe the dealer has switch the card or some other trick that we are not aware of. In any case, we should always be careful and be attentive, just like in that video wherein it was clear as daylight that there was switch done by the dealer and you can see his reaction before he pull that stunt live.

Yeah, I’m using evolution gaming and I really like the way there dealers distribute card to players. They are slow when getting the new card out of the deck and scanning it but quick when giving it to player. They are also continuously talking to players who use the chat to communicate with them and this is a good sign that they are genuine because shady live games provider can use recorded screen to alter the result of the game without noticing it.

I remember I play on not well known provider and lose 20 hands in a row without a win. There’s no way or very rare for that to happened on a real game but it happened to them with there magic shoe deck.

@Weeddaddy, Is there any documents that you can provide to know the complete details about $EED utility on the casino and also it’s tokenomics to determine whether this token is worth it to farm or not on this early stage of the casino stage.

Is there any roadmap available to see your projection target for casino development? The website lacks a lot of details that will user understand more about the token info. When will the token will be listed and where will the liquidity will be coming from?
1605  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What happens if binance and tether goes down on: November 23, 2022, 10:01:44 AM
Disaster since Tether and Binance are the top company on there respective industry that holds the majority of the crypto money. We will not reach the current value of Bitcoin without Tether injecting more supply to purchase Bitcoin while Binance is the most used exchange for newbie and whales that wants to trade on Bitcoin. By only to there treasury will give us a hint on how destructive they are in case that huge amount of crypto holding will be selling off to the market current liquidity.

Binance FTT holdings cause the current market dip so what’s more if they will dump all there holdings just liquidate there asset considering they are still top of there respective industries.
1606  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How important is fiat to Bitcoin? on: November 22, 2022, 01:17:44 PM
There were money before fiat came to existence, fiat brought more power to government to control. Gold and some other items have been used as money since centuries ago and they are still money. What is more important is that only fiat price is controlled, but the money in the past were all just like bitcoin which their prices are because of their demand and supply.
So you are invariably saying that Bitcoin is like the rest of the money types that the world had in previous years and as you mentioned, fiat is the one that has given power to the Government the most to control the citizens and just this morning, I was watching a local news channel correspondence in UK talking about the FTX issue and what it means and how some UK Government officials are calling for a more regulated Crypto space.
So with all this, it could be said that, while most of us that understand crypto investment will continue to support Bitcoin but we can not believe that fiat will totally disappear from the system.
He is trying to say that Fiat is controlled by the government since they are the one who regulates the supply and demand since it’s unlimited while Gold and Bitcoin has a limited supply which means the price can’t be manipulated through modifying the supply just to control its value.

I doubt FIAT will be out of the system in near future because it’s been working for a long time since it’s implementation and a Decentralized monetary system will not gonna work on government since they need to control it in able to regulate. Maybe CBDC is the closest thing that government do as improvement for the current fiat system.
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online blackjack scam! on: November 22, 2022, 10:06:39 AM
I don’t understand the cheat in the video you provided, can you explain what he did? The video the @Baofeng shared is the one popular cheat by the dealer which is switching cards because they knew exactly what’s the card on the shoe due to the chip connected on the cards. Only mediocre software provider do this because popular live games provider is very careful when it comes to dealing with cards.

1608  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When will Sam Bankman-Fried go to jail? on: November 21, 2022, 04:26:02 PM
Do you remember Dokwon? and now he is still sunbathing on some luxurious beach with investor's money. Then there is no reason because SBF will go to jail, cryptocurrency has no government protection, when we participate in investment, we will be responsible for our own decision.

Yeah, That guys is legendary, Actually this is the perks on doing a heist on crypto since you can store your assets on wallet that doesn’t reveal your ownership. Do Kwon probably might face jail time if the many people affected is living on same country to him. There’s no one pursuing the case besides the authorities who’s doing there own investigation. Without a complaints, this jerk will be free forever.

Same with Sam, there’s no evidence that he steal money since all the allegations has no clear proof and democrats is involved which means he is safe until a republicans will sit on the white house. Only bankruptcy is the only thing we can expect as the outcome on this drama and no jail time same as Do Kwon.
1609  Economy / Economics / Re: Corrupt people in crypto on: November 21, 2022, 03:58:09 PM
FTX, Luna and Celsius areindeed controlled by corrupt CEO but the rest on the list is just a victim of poor financial management for being affiliated to the corrupt people that I mention. There’s always like this kind of people in the world of finance because greed makes people do unimaginable things just to get richer using other people money.

Even on physical company has a corruption inside. They just being busted quickly because they have an official audit unlike crypto company that operating on stealth mode from regulators. I believe this corruption will never stop in crypto because being decentralized and anonymous always give temptation to people to do greedy things.
1610  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why does everyone want to trade? on: November 21, 2022, 03:09:01 PM
And so I think everyone wants to trade,
but no one wants to learn to trade.
Well said,
To start trading, it has to be learned first, If someone starts without learning it. He is going to lose his money in the long term ( Some trades may go well for him in the short term, but in long-term, he will lose)

So first learn. And I believe this bear market is a great time to learning/ or improving your/our skills.

+1 for img

I think all traders wants to learn that’s why they are trading. Losing money on trading doesn’t mean you didn’t learn. It’s just that the other trader have profit and someone lose since trading is just transfer of money from early buyer to late buyer. There’s no way that everyone will be in profit because the money on the order book is just from other trader too.

Of course newbie or low IQ trader will always lose there money on trading and even if you study a lot. You will still lose because there’s always someone better especially the whales that can dominate the market.
1611  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - Road to Riches raffle taking you to Las Vegas! ✈️ on: November 21, 2022, 02:55:30 PM
I observe how the game works and it is similar to baccarat, it's pretty easy to play and there's a way to maximize the chances to win. What I like is the multiplier for lucky claws/paws it feels like you're also playing slots in this live game. The design is also good. I will definitely try to play this one and see if I can hit a nice win.

This is not a new game as I play it a lot on other providers like Evolution it's just that here there are some differences e.g. win multiplier 10-1000 : 1
Another difference is if the bet hits a tie then we will lose 50% of our bet on other providers like Evolution our bet will be refunded 100%
But that's fair enough because Dragon/Tiger here offers a higher multiplier it's worth trying.

Just recently try this game and multiplier is indeed high compared to the normal dragon tiger game on Evo. No commission baccarat is still what I preferred instead of this game since tie on dragon tiger will cost you 50% of your original bet while baccarat will refund 100% of your bonus. The bonus bet on no commission baccarat is high too like the dragon tiger bet.

I still don’t compare the multiplier of both game but the tie on dragon tiger is the only downside of this game. They are rewarding more on tie bets which maybe the reason they deduct 50% of bet.
1612  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🌿✨ weeddaddy.io - New Crash Game - Welcome Bonus | Free Faucet ✨🌿 on: November 21, 2022, 01:29:40 PM
Nice graphics and website domain name. It’s very catchy and I enjoy browsing your website. I like the theme of your game because that design is very in my eyes to incorporate on gambling. I do feel a zombie tsunami theme when I watch the visual on crash games.

Adding more games that stick to that theme will be perfect. Crash game is already common game and not that popular anymore since slots and live games are tanking the gambling industry. I wish for your success and future development.
1613  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | on: November 20, 2022, 04:15:00 PM
I’m very excited on tomorrow’s match onwards of the World Cup 2022 because I’m sure Duelbits will have a daily boosted odds promotion for all the games. Just recently bet on there boosted odds for tomorrow’s match to above 1.5 goal score for both team. I’m confident that opening match will be explosive since Qatar is the host country while there opponent has a slight advantage on them. I assume they will at least score both 1-1 on tomorrows match to fire up this tournament.

Question, Who’s the team that you choose to win on predictor contest in Duelbits website?

Game starting now! Ecuador got the first goal.
1614  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hacker of FTX dumping ETH for BTC on: November 20, 2022, 04:07:43 PM

Thanks for the correction mate. I’m just skeptical because they are converting the confiscated Ethereum into renBTC if they are just seizing all FTX asset. Why do they need to that while they are already holding the control to the funds.

They should just convert it to fiat if they want to liquidate it immediately instead of converting the Eth to different tokens for whatever purposes. If this is really Bahamas government doing, I’m really confused on what they are trying to do here.
1615  Economy / Speculation / Hacker of FTX dumping ETH for BTC on: November 20, 2022, 03:47:56 PM
Recently the hacker address that stole FTX is now selling off in exchange for renBTC. He might possibly bridge it to real BTC then mixed to clear all his track. I don’t see any price impact down or up on Bitcoin right now since the buy is happening on Ren blockchain.

What do you guys think? Will the hacker will hold or sold? What will be the implications for hacker putting all the eyes now on Bitcoin by bringing the dirty money?

This is the hacker ETH address: https://etherscan.io/address/0x866eeecd1f248d1a0a2e0263f13594a6b8b7c01a#tokentxns
1616  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin payment implementing at the Bitcoin Island(BORACAY) on: November 20, 2022, 01:17:54 PM
The only thing sucks on this app was it requires on the spot KYC after registration.

This may be a small problem, especially for tourists who plan to spend several hundreds of $ in BTC, and therefore should go through the KYC process. It would be good if the verification was not required for smaller amounts.

The company behind this app is unknown here in PH and this exactly the cons on this application because they don’t have tier to apply KYC unlike coins.ph. Only few user is using the app here but I hope the participants themselves will try to learn Bitcoin and not rely solely on the app. I’m planning to visit Boracay this December and I will try my best to educate them more on how tp use the real Bitcoin using non custodial wallet.

It's the same video posted by @buwaytress a few posts above, and I wouldn't mind watching a few more videos featuring Zowie Pallier either Wink

RealTalk, I’m focus 99% to zowie herself and 1% on her content most of the time when watching her video which is the reason I’m late share here. I just remember that she had a content about Bitcoin after reading this thread and voila they are connected when I double check.  Grin
1617  Economy / Speculation / Re: What are the chances of FTX raising funds... on: November 20, 2022, 12:03:07 PM
Although many are pessimistic that FTX can rise, but I think if FTX can prove all the plans that are on their social media it will create very high trust from investors, we will see if by the end of the year FTX will convince users or not

Do you even know the full scope for the total loss FTX has? There’s a lot of project connected on it and probably the money being distributed on this project came from the funds of FTX users stuck now on the exchange since there’s no real asset backing on there balance. Whoever shit who will invest on FTX will carry the billion dollar debt of FTX with extra difficulty since they can’t be trusted anymore as CEX. There’s no future on this brand in my humble opinion.

However, the question arises whether tourists can pay with Bitcoin in any other way or exclusively using the app of the company behind this project?

If I’m not mistaken about this app, You can send Bitcoin directly even using different wallet since  this is same with coins.ph PHP wallet that automatically converts Bitcoin to there PHP balance once you send Bitcoin on there special Bitcoin address but I’m sure they preferred pouch.ph app for a fast transaction since it’s off-chain. The only thing sucks on this app was it requires on the spot KYC after registration.

I just saw my favorite vlogger do some content in related with this news. He is searching all establishments that accepts Bitcoin all over Boracay.
