1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most performing altcoin for October on: October 06, 2021, 05:56:57 AM
Ethereum never went to $4500. I am invested in it that's why I am frequently checking the price.
I think we should just leave the top 2 currencies in the discussion because there is no question Bitcoin and Ethereum will gain more value long term.
Other coins though like BNB and Cardano are the surprises that made me regret not buying them.
BNB was valued at cents before and I was there using it just as a trading tool and never expected it would come to this. I wish I could've saved more.
1602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 06, 2021, 03:23:48 AM
This is a good change IMO, things are getting better with the new rule as there are players who are really good at it although they are the one who initiate the contact. It's one of the major improvement to make the league more interesting, I also hope that the flopping will have a bigger penalty as it's a disgrace to the league.
Yes, that's true.
Most of the players that do these tricks are ball handlers with shooting skills. i.e. Harden, Kyrie, Trae, Curry, PG13, and even Kobe before.

1. Trae has a method of stopping while the defender is chasing him and then using his butt to take the hit for a defensive foul.
2. Harden using his foot mid-air to gain more space and make the defender commit a foul even at a vertical position.
3. PG13 entangling the arms of the defender when they are stretching them while doing a shot attempt for a shooting foul.

All of these examples might not be called anymore or worse they will commit an offensive foul that could be a game-changer when there are seconds left in the game.
I think the NBA will be slowly going back to powering up the inside players like Jokic and Giannis to balance the game.

1603  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reputable dice sites with instant/flash bets on: October 05, 2021, 07:35:52 AM
Sadly, Yolodice is gone which has that kind of feature.
But as chaser15 said, why not just stick with what you are used to which is Wolf.bet? Is it just because you want a fresher UI?
Assuming that is the reason, if you are running it with a bot, should you really care about it?
Try Stake.com they also have that feature when you click the auto mode. Just stick with the trusted especially the ones who are promoting in this forum.  Grin
1604  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How you choose projects for investment on: October 05, 2021, 04:31:04 AM
You said it all, that's all you need and some luck.  Grin
Not everything may go your way but the very least you could do is lessen the risk of investing with a soon to be failure project.
Trying to avoid them by looking deep into their resources and team will be the key element to stretch the possibility of profit in the long run.
I've been failing before at that side but thanks to this forum I gained some knowledge on how to better know the investments I'll be stepping on.
Thankfully, I avoided them but there are still failures that you just can't avoid. If that happens, get over it and reclaim it with your next option.

So, I was surprised as I saw Bradley playing for the Warriors.
Here are the updates about why he is playing with them and I will just quote them.
https://sports.yahoo.com/warriors-steph-curry-high-praise-231613731.html
Quote
The Warriors signed Bradley to a non-guaranteed roster spot before the start of training camp.
Quote
Bradley will get his first chance to show why he deserves Golden State’s 15th roster spot on Monday night against the Trail Blazers in the preseason opener.
There were three of them who worked out for the Warriors, Isaiah Thomas, former GSW Quinn Cook, and Avery Bradley.
I thought the higher chances for the 15th spot will be for Cook for obvious reasons that's why I am shocked they needed a defensive player like Bradley.

Aldridge by the way does not lose his skills, but his stamina, let's see.

Sign of aging lol  Grin.
Not just aging but also his medical condition. If we do remember he retired already because of a medical condition.
Quote
Aldridge retired in April after experiencing an irregular heartbeat in the last of the five games he played for the Nets. Aldridge was diagnosed with Wolff-Parkinson-White syndrome — an abnormality that can cause a rapid heartbeat — as a rookie in 2007.
https://www.nba.com/news/lamarcus-aldridge-to-reportedly-sign-with-nets
This is why we cannot expect too much from him. Nets will give him the minutes but I don't think they will let him stay for a long time for the said reason.
Maybe this will be his last year and he just considers having a ring before he fully retires and just rests.
Other teams though should still be careful in defending him, he sure could stretch the floor with his shooting range which we just witnessed earlier.
1607  Economy / Economics / Re: China Is making Fuds Since 2017, But BTC Always Gone higher on: October 04, 2021, 09:22:37 AM
China is a big country in this world. This influence on crypto is actually very high, They always spread FUD every time the price is coming to rise up in order to make any drop. But we don't know the right reasons behind it, whether they really want the price drop because they dislike crypto, or they want to control Bitcoin, make the price dip, and then get many more Bitcoin to prepare before the next pump.

We also actually realize that with or without those FUDs, Bitcoin price will always skyrocket moreover if the cycle of halving has been finished and the price will commonly create new ATH. But on the other side, we may not underestimate what China can do, although it may only influence for a certain short time, it exactly will give a big impact at that time.

One of the things why I like the China FUD is because the price of BTC will go up, it always is, when there was the problem with the miners leaving China, the price took a nice bullish turn, when China does a movement against BTC, other countries take advantage of it. It is strange that a country like China that is so big does not accept BTC technology, nor its alternative economy, sometimes I think that the big whales of BTC reside in China, because when looking at the market from the speculative point of view of the market, when They start their FUD, the market goes down, but from one moment to another the market has a big bullish rally.

It could be that investors are tired of all their bad claims against Bitcoin.
There will always be a point where they need to go against the flow to make profits out of it and it works.
Buy the news, sell the asset. Sure there will be a bear that will happen whenever they do such things as FUD but in the long run, it will become a bull when traders do their job to buy back after the news starts to calm down.
It's like manipulating the market using the trend which is a wise decision if ever it will be successful.
1608  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't trade using instinct on: October 04, 2021, 02:42:23 AM
If you have entered to trade on the BSC platform then there are many choices of tokens that have pretty good potential, as well as some new tokens that have basic NFT and haven't gotten a very high ATH, then these tokens have very good potential for us to hold tokens.

Maybe my suggestion is that you can buy some tokens that have a staking system so that these tokens are very potential and have a small risk if we hold these tokens such as Cake, banana, hunny and the like.
High potential for profits but with high risk due to custodial issues. You are literally like giving away your coins when you are staking.
Then, there is the possibility that it won't go the way you want it.
Another issue is, it needs to consume time to gain a better profit, while in trading you could just buy and sell in a short span of time then put it back in your wallet just to be safe.
OP though is talking about instincts, you need to act like a robot for gains and not by emotions that could rekt you even in a short run.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 04, 2021, 01:19:13 AM
I am looking forward to Aldridge having that same kind of performance when the season starts.
Damn, Nets is really packed with star players that it even looked good using their second team. The same goes for the Lakers team, THT, Dwight, Rondo, Nunn, wow. It's really a super team.
Having NBA basketball back makes me genuinely happy. Now that I’ve aged to the point where I’ll likely never be able to dunk a basketball again, I have a newfound appreciation for these athletes in the heart of their prime doing what they love.
I agree. I appreciate the Nets and the Lakers doing this feat. Placing most known players in teams at different conferences and may have a chance to battle in the Finals. Pre-season start. Nets win.
1610  Economy / Speculation / Re: October Bitcoin bull month. on: October 03, 2021, 04:24:27 PM
Checking the history have seen that October month notably is a bull run story on most of the times. So if just going by that stats we can see btc crossing 50 k again. As well if we see from last couple of days market have started to move and btc is now at 48k. So is it just a beginning of an another rally?

Hopefully we can see the same scenario before since if we can reach up to the figures given maybe we can see another bull but if not atleast we are goinh strong for maintaining at this current price mark. Let see what will happen next since for sure most of the people are thinking about bullish especially when we heading at 4th quarter of the year.
That is what I like to see. Maintain.
Most of the time when Bitcoin goes bull in an extended period, an unexpected dump will happen that would surprise us and it won't even be near our technical analysis.
It dumps so hard that no one even predicted it. I can see a lot of analysis going beyond $80k but I rarely see someone expects at the lower range for a new bottom. It can happen, it does happen, that's why I am hoping this could be the slowest rise as possible for that "maintain" thing to happen.
1611  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance exchange KYC update on: October 03, 2021, 10:34:56 AM
is it true that accounts that are not KYC will be banned, or just can't make trades and withdrawals before completing the KYC process?
Indeed. They will just restrict you from using other services like trading.
I installed their application like a week ago and I compared it to my old account on a different smartphone, they are not the same. Only deposits can be done but I think they should also be stricter with that.
No deposits unless they do KYC first if there will also be no withdrawals afterward. It's just unfair if you can keep money in their service but cannot take it out.
1612  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 03, 2021, 03:45:57 AM
It's the mental toughness that is the problem of Ben Simmons, during the regular season, he has some impressive stats, so why it changes during the playoffs? The answer is because of the pressure, he can't live with the pressure as one of the star players of the team, and with his awkward and low percentage outside shooting, that doesn't give him enough confidence to shoot the ball, in fact, he was so predictable during the playoffs due to his limitations on offense.
You're right. However, it's weird because Simmons has enough experience playing in the playoffs. He probably was mentally unprepared for the fact that everyone would criticize him after a terrible performance, and it's worth noting that he only aggravated his mental condition during the preseason.
For me, he is still young. There's just so much he needs to learn and that includes professionalism.
From what we are witnessing he forgot the fact that he signed a contract and I think the 76ers management should make a lesson out of him from breaching it so that other players won't do the same in the future. Emotions should be set aside when you are in this position demanding a trade, again it shows bad habits.

Embiid already talked about it.
Quote
"The situation is disappointing, borderline kind of disrespectful to all the guys that are out here fighting for their lives," Embiid told reporters at training camp in Camden, New Jersey.
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/32314598/philadelphia-76ers-star-joel-embiid-calls-ben-simmons-situation-borderline-disrespectful-team
About the shooting problem. He's still young, it can be improved. I won't worry about that so much because he has a lot of skills to contribute.
1613  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is There Problem In the Crypto-currency? on: October 02, 2021, 05:37:33 PM
There will always be a part who are against change. You should've learned that from growing up.
FUD will be there and haters will hate as long as they are stuck with their traditional beliefs.
There are people who are hard-headed enough to think a change must not happen to prevent people from confusing with what is new.
A belief to stay with the old ways when life is simple. But that's not how the world circulates, there will always be something new, a discovery.

What can you do about it? It's either you zip your mouth because you cannot offer knowledge about it and let others do the explaining while you also listen and maybe next time you will be the teacher or you side with them.
1614  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should you sell ethereum and btc to buy Solana/SOL? on: October 02, 2021, 03:04:00 PM
If you are selling your BTC and Ethereum to buy Solana, I think it is not right choice. You can do short or middle term with Solana, but for long term Ethereum is the best in the market.
I agree with that. Or perhaps there's a better choice which is just making a new fund for buying Solana.
Why should you risk selling your Bitcoin and Ethereum when we all know it will just keep on going upwards in the long run.
Let it be, keep it as your long-term investments and just watch it bloom until the next decade.
As for new projects that are being hyped, just provide something to buy in and don't chip away a little bit from other investments especially the two coins that was said.
1615  Economy / Speculation / Re: October Bitcoin bull month. on: October 02, 2021, 11:22:23 AM
It's just the start. Let's hope it can maintain a good and slow bull until December where most likely a dump will happen again for the need of money/fiat.
I think many speculators have come up with the same analysis for quarter 4.
Most likely using history basis and the fact that it was dumped for a big amount after we reached the ATH a few months ago.
What comes up must go down and vice versa is the behavior of Bitcoin since old times.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 02, 2021, 09:21:42 AM
Westbrook addition is already huge, another player who pushes the ball and for sure the Lakers are going to run this season eventhough some of them are already in thir mid 30's.

Russell Westbrook is seen as still being athletic at his age. The early '30s is not a veteran to consider but just not playing already on their 100% prime. I don't know what kind of training Westbrook is underdoing but he's becoming stronger and still a high leaper even past his prime. If Lebron will be injured or sidelined, the Lakers are still in good hands but of course no one wants that to happen as we like to see all are healthy throughout the season.

His height and physical attributes might be the reason for his athleticism and agility.
Westbrook's overall stats are not even descending a bit.
He can still make triple-doubles during the Wizards and Rockets years and that's what the Lakers will need if they will put him in a different rotation with Lebron.
2 playmakers, 2 top players who can deal with any position above and even inside the paint. They can help with rebounds, defensive or offensive.
Roleplayers will have so much easy time playing with these 2 guys.
1617  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Litecoin Cash was no scam. on: October 01, 2021, 01:02:41 PM
Not defending anyone, but a project who uses another successful project's name? Like Bitcoin and then we have Bitcoin Cash? We all know what happens to the latter though, no support from the community and the people behind have been branded as scamming people around because they pretend to be the true Bitcoin?

This might be the case here and that's why investors think that this is just another scam projects that is taking advantage of Litecoin's name.

I totally understand.
Bitcoin Cash is not the true bitcoin, but it is the brother.
It is the brother, cause BCH was born in the bitcoin family.
And the brother was one successful, for reasons.
The same is happening now with Litecoin Cash.

And thats the point.

-

Nakarato

What?! A brother? I don't even consider it in the bloodline of Bitcoin.  Grin
The same goes for LTC Cash. Creating a name that is obviously a copycat of BCH in the Bitcoin blockchain. Who is going to support it?
Look at BCH having a hard time receiving support. They just became a milking cow from the airdrop and afterward, they were left in the darkness.
What's next? A sister of Bitcoin and Litecoin named BTCdog and LTCdog? Let's stop this and just focus on the main branches of cryptocurrency. (Science)
1618  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: October 01, 2021, 04:02:59 AM
Why not right? If you notice how Kyle Lowry did last year, when the trade didn't materialize, he stays and plays and hopes for the best offer coming this season and he finally does.
That's a good example. Nice. Maybe they differ in agents. Kyle's agent is more of a Hollywood than Ben's agent.  Grin
When all is said and done, it's all about the money. The contract. That's your first priority when you are trying to get into the most prestigious league of basketball.
He already have it and it's a huge sum of money but just being wasted. A lot of players will kill for that, or if not they will sweat with blood to achieve it.

It's simple, if Carmelo misses a few bad shots, then automatically, he needs to be replaced by someone. Just a couple of minutes to relax again in the bench.
It's not simple. What if while Carmelo is missing shots, but he is contributing well to other aspects of the game like assist, rebounds, and backcourt plays, is he still be subject to a quick substitution?
Yes. And it's not just that. When you bench a player after some miss shots you are taking away a part of his confidence while on his head he is still heating up.
Some shooters are not accurate on their first few shots, one reason is cold hands. IIRC, Curry also experienced 0/10 FG but ended up 12/25 or something at the end of the game. Kerr just believed in him and confidence level has a lot of effect on players.
1619  Other / Archival / Re: [POLL] What to expect from Bitcoin in 2022? on: October 01, 2021, 01:04:37 AM
We just entered the last quarter of the year but I think there will still be many things that will happen.
Economic recovery is happening because they are opening a lot of industries and that includes the entertainment industry where cryptocurrencies are being used for payment of tickets and other stuffs.
I think we have never seen the real stretch of a pump for this year. Imagine if the pandemic didn't exist, where could Bitcoin be.
Did it really have a positive reaction for people to have knowledge about it or is it just the same thing pre-pandemic?
IMO, I am expecting a big swing before the year's end. $60k is my top and could be the new bottom at the start of 2022 until the end of its first quarter.
1620  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: September 30, 2021, 02:28:51 PM
Tomorrow is October and 4 more days before we could witness the start of the pre-season.
As we are getting near, it's also more exciting to see how these newly built teams are going to clash.

More with the Ben Simmons series. (This drama will be profitable on Netflix.)
76ers' Ben Simmons willing to forfeit salary and sit out entire season if not traded, per report

Sitting out for the entire season? He will waste that huge chunk of money while other people are getting hungry in this pandemic. Damn.
His pride is too damn hard that he would give up a year of payment than to be with the 76ers family.
Why can't he just like be Hollywood. Act like you are still a part of the team and hope to be traded next year.
You got your money and a chance of revenge missing all the freethrows and taking them all down with you.  Grin
