1621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Limit your participation in IEO on exchanges that you trust on: April 28, 2019, 06:40:55 PM
I see a trend of Binance lanchpad, btt x10, fetch x6, celer x4 matic x2, it seems to me that the era IEO maybe coming to end, remember that the crypto is a high risk assets.
IEO won't end that easy. I think this is pretty good way for a tokensale. But, it has bad side especially for people that never do any research before investing (drowned by they hype of IEO). Therefore here the OP tried to warn us to be careful in what we do to avoid scam.
1622  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Be aware of the new exchange's IEO! on: April 28, 2019, 06:33:03 PM
That would against the statement that said IEO is safer than ICO because there will be less scam project. Well, that's right if the exchange is Binance, cause project's team will need to pass several requirements to be able to conduct a tokensale on Binance. Unfortunately, the proccess will be different if the exchange is not very popular. A small exchange need a volume, therefore they will be very welcome to a new project to coduct a tokensale and don't really care about the project's credibillity.
1623  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bob's Repair [Token Sale Complete] on: April 28, 2019, 04:30:46 PM
This old project was one of best projects at that time. The project was successfully conducted a tokensale with obviously a lot of money. Is this project still under development or has been left by the team and its community?
1624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What it cost in fiat money to make a crypto project? on: April 28, 2019, 04:23:37 PM
Based on how big is your time, if you are alone probably you need to hire esperts to help you build like good looking website, smart-contract, documents writers  or paid-PR. With this situation, you will need to pay more money. But if you have a big team that agree to build the project together than it would be cheaper. Unfortunately, I can mention the exact number of money needed because maybe each country has its own expense.
1625  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETHEREUM GOING MASSIVE ?! -Time to buy now on: April 28, 2019, 04:06:09 PM
I don't have time to watch the full video because it's pretty long. Do you mind to write some of the reason here so everyone can be easier to respond to this thread? So far, there's no much signs for Ethereum to be massively gain positive price in the market, I think it will be always stuck between 150-180 USD. However, Bitcoin bullrun will help it out after going down for once again.
1626  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for some trusted gambling site. on: April 28, 2019, 03:59:02 PM
This thread is old enough and probably the thread creator is not looking to this anymore and some people here used this thread to do spam? Oh come on guys! Don't yu think it's better to create a new one that listed some trusted site and then update it weekly or monthly?
1627  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Should I gamble for my WEDDING? on: April 28, 2019, 03:54:44 PM
My wedding is fast approaching and am looking for ways of making more money to help me in one way or the other to take care of some expenses as regards my wedding. At the moment, I have about 0.04BTC and I will need additional 0.09BTC for me to take care of some other expenses which are yet to be taken care of.

Should I gamble with the one I have?

I don't think you need to do that. Don't risk your money near your important days. Gambling is not always profitable, it's better for having fun. I'm afraid if you do gamble to gain your target profit, then you lost your money and you it's possible for you to you lose your mind and do it again until worse while your wedding day is near. Wedding expense can be covered with loan and I'm glad that there are some people here who agree to donate their funds for you. Unfortunately, I can be one of those donators.
1628  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin has done it again on: April 28, 2019, 03:44:52 PM
Well, I have been informed by my close friend who is already in Bitcoin world since 2012. He said that Bitcoin condition won't be good in 2018 and he suggested me to sell some Bitcoin to survive in real life. And he was right, also he said that in 2019-2021 Bitcoin price will be back in its best perform and it is possible to reach new all-time high as there will be halving. So, even Bitcoin hit 2000 USD last year (Fortunately not), I will be still here.
1629  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will Hit 6000$ Before april last date ? on: April 28, 2019, 03:23:41 PM
No you should not expect it to cross $6k as it’s not feasible for it to cross those levels so soon, I feel we may see more corrections in bitcoins prices in coming days. However there’s no doubt in my mind that in coming months bitcoin prices shall definitely cross $6k levels, and will end the year at least on $10k levels. A pump at current levels looks difficult, but let’s hope in the long run we see more pumps in bitcoin prices.
You are right, a huge pumps will pull a trigger of huge dump in the future, just like what happened in the whole 2018.
I prefer to see bitcoin price grows slightly to ensure that the price reflects informations available on the market both historical data and or any develpment news.
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] MONETHA - Decentralised reputation with built-in payments on: April 28, 2019, 03:17:43 PM
Is there any big updates from the team so far? I was trading MTH and got some profit from them. Looks like the team are hardly promoting the project through facebook advertisement, but is there any big progress from them since this is an enough old project?
No big announcement as far as I know, Just small updates here and there! I just hope they announce some big partnership, That would cheer up MTH holders, Also price will go up a bit.
I thought I was just not up-to-date. I hope there will be a big move from the team. However, a continuous development within small update can also help the price increase.

yes right, news about potential partnerships will be very entertaining and foster great hopes for the growth of MTH tokens.
Not just a partnership, we need a big partnership announcement!

a few days ago there was a pretty interesting update : Monetha now available at Coinmerce (MTH/EUR)
I don't think this kind of listing announcement is interesting. How could people impressed with listing on a small exchange while the project is already listed on the most favoured exchange (Binance)?
1631  Economy / Economics / Re: How adoption will happen on: April 28, 2019, 01:01:54 PM
I think mostly will from poor countries that have big debt or their fiat is always getting high inflation so that their fiat is not really valuable. Country with a big power would just regulate crypto operation because the govt thinks their fiat is mre avluable than cryptocurrency. My two cents!
1632  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The ugly side of Bitcoin on: April 28, 2019, 12:47:50 PM
What has impact to the price are either the expensive mining or a news. Normal people won't care about the polutions, they will just care about how to get Bitcoin and become rich. However, this side-effect of Bitcoin mining (like a pollutions) should get more attention from everyone in the community to sustain Bitcoin existantance.

Bitcoin's "pollution" is still orders of magnitude lower than the entire world banking system, the datacenters Google, Microsoft and Amazon operate, and I could continue for a while. You get the point (I hope).
What if at the end Bitcoin operation reach the same level of what you mentioned? Doesn't it mean Bitcoin will be the same as centralized things?
1633  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about the gambling site's having a promotion? on: April 28, 2019, 12:26:58 PM
How could great gambling sites don't do any promotion while a scam sites do? They are promoting their site is to get more people to join the platform. It's a normal marketing, but I think with their promotion they only give advantages to the promoters and not the new members like to have more luck or something.

1635  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: All altcoins without proof of work will be destroyed on: April 28, 2019, 12:13:12 PM
the world is ruled by energy sellers, coins threatening coins with proof of work will be destroyed like this car https://youtu.be/Jivb7lupDNU

The higher the hashrate (kilowatt to be exact) - the better the coin, the technology does not matter
I dont think so, It's different thing. There are two options when the whole POW coin supply already mined. The first option is using Proof of Stake to validate the transactions. The second option is still using POW but the miner won't get coin from the block but from the fee of transactions. Then, coins without POW should not just die like that but it depends on the developer which method to use. Just like the car you mentioned, people just love other cars that's why that car is not really popular. Simple think.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 6 Reasons why IEO is better than ICO on: April 28, 2019, 12:01:12 PM
What is the definition of scam? If scam is defined as the disappearing after tokensale then maybe IEO can avoid this issue, but some people including me, call a project a scam when a project stop or delay their development and can't complete their roadmap on time. There are various types of scammer : Scammers could run from people as soon as peopl, or still with people with thousands fake promises to make people calm. And the second type I mentioned can't be avoided with just an IEO.
1637  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indian Govt thinks Bitcoin is a ponzi scheme on: April 28, 2019, 11:55:10 AM
I think India govt just didn't understand the vision of Bitcoin and its blockchain yet. Well, it's a normal thought for everyone who are already comfortable with the current bank system and the govt just want to prevent their citizens frombeing scammed. I do believe later in the future, the whole world will accept Bitcoin as the new technology for future life.
1638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JUST 1 TIP ON HOW TO AVOID STUPID PROJECTS JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY on: April 28, 2019, 09:22:39 AM
Even many projects that reach hardcap of millions of dollars end up have too low market cap on cmc but I'm not surprised ,many devs this days only care about how much they made for there pocket and care less about the project itself
That's true that some project doing so, but if the project really got a hardcap doesnt it mean they have a huge community? Therefore, they should be able to put their token on a big exchanges while doing massive promotion to gain more investors from the market.
1639  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: JUST 1 TIP ON HOW TO AVOID STUPID PROJECTS JUST AFTER YOUR MONEY on: April 28, 2019, 09:13:14 AM
Stop investing  (investors) or promoting (bounty hunters)  projects requesting ridiculous amount of money just to build some silly application... it's just outrageous 90% of these kind of projects later Play an exit scam on investors
There are some people actually ask why some projects need so much funds in their tokensale while the platform is pretty simple to build. Project's team probably use the hype of cryptocurrency to gain money for theirselves through bounty and this can be a reason why the project's development is not as fast as our expectation (cause they are enjoying investors' money)
1640  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You Can't Be Jobless And Be Participating In Bounties on: April 28, 2019, 09:09:09 AM
Yeah, based on my experience. Bounty campaigns can be a job but itu doesn't give up exact number of income. It can be high and make you rich in just a couple months or just give you a penny. That's why we should not see bounty as main job, there are a lot real jobs on crypto space. However bounty can be a side-job to give you some additional income.
