1321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Rokkex - Crypto Exchange by Cybersecurity Professionals - STO in Q3 🚀 on: May 10, 2019, 11:30:39 AM
More than 80% of ICOs conducted in 2017 were identified as scams. Due to lack of regulations and legal basis, ICO gave birth to numerous projects which raised funds and escaped. Moreover, ICOs entailed intense speculations on the crypto market, e.g.: front running, pump and dump, wash trading, flowing the hype etc.
Not only in 2017 but also 2018 and maybe 2019 too. It's a big and old issue and can't be totally fixed no matter how hard we try or how long we wait. With this project, are you trying to help them understand regarding regulation and legal basis? Well, maybe that's good idea but do you clearly understand what you will teach to them? I personally doubt that, and back about scam, how would make us sure that you will be developing a trustworthy project?
1322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ICO][NOIA] - NOIA Network [Join our Network - earn rewards!] on: May 10, 2019, 11:20:54 AM
I found this project from an airdrop website and try to learn about the project. Well the idea that aims to build the next generation of internet combined with blockchain is pretty interesting. But, I'm here to talk about marketing. Since you need an investment in order to be able to develop the project properly, you absolutely need to spread awareness among investors. Why did you choose an airdrop instead of creating a campaign to help you reach investors? Airdrop is like a giveaway when people can earn tokens by doing single task, and a campaign can dive your marketing and spread awareness to people for a longer time and keep people to always be informed though.
1323  Economy / Economics / Re: Are Cryptobanks Future? on: May 10, 2019, 08:59:29 AM
The idea of crypto banks is awesome as we can Place valuables like real estate titles, wills, on smart contracts in the blockchain  where no one but you with a key can access since blockchain is an immutable financial ledger
Crypto banks? a place where you can save your money or take a loan from them? Well, we don't need this kind of project in crypto. We (with our private keys) are our own bank! Bitcoin community has been using Bitcoin as a war against centralized bank system, and decentralized bank system is likely to be the same because they will be just fooling poor people every time.
1324  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think Institutions secretly HODL Bitcoin? on: May 10, 2019, 08:51:15 AM
I don't think institution is secretly holding Bitcoin, but their employees are holding Bitcoin as personal asset or simply because of the hype. Big risk will give you a big result. Perhaps even they think Bitcoin is bad, deep in their heart, they doubt that and see a little potential for Bitcoin to show its performance. So, they secretly hold Bitcoin whilst keep talking that Bitcoin is bad.
1325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy bitcoin now?? Or I'm too late?? on: May 10, 2019, 08:43:22 AM
What are you holding right now? If you are holding altcoin right now, no need to sell them as soon as possible. You can wait them to increase in price then sell it for Bitcoin. Well, if you are holding fiat or stable coins there are 2 choices : You can buy Bitcoin and take the ride with it, or wait until Bitcoin price move up and altcoins got red then you buy some potential altcoins to take profit from them.
1326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what will happen to ethereum in this bullrun? on: May 10, 2019, 08:39:28 AM
Ethereum and most cryptocurrency will have their own time later, when Bitcoin price stop moving. But, If Bitcoin raised too high it will also bad for major altcoin as they will be decreased in price because investors will try to sell their altcoins to be able to ride Bitcoin. For now, just hold Bitcoin and stable coin and watch closely.
1327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Eleven01 | Blockchain for the next billion | MIT Team | Government backed on: May 10, 2019, 08:30:56 AM
Recently, I read some news about Bitcoin in India. The country seems want to fully ban Bitcoin because they smell ponzi scheme with no underlying real value in it. How would you operate this business and make a partnership with government while they are likely to ban Bitcoin (and of course all crypto)?
1328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What would be the perfect cryptocurrency in your opinion? on: May 09, 2019, 10:10:45 PM
If you didn't need to worry about the technical junk behind the scenes that makes it work.. what would be the features of the perfect cryptocurrency?
A lot of projects have perfect concept, unfortunately none of them have a real development, no real use case. As decentralization is a new thing I don't really care about the features, I do hope their projects can be adopted by massive people and be able to replace the current centralize system. Yeah, after the adoptions, we can add more progressive features to make this world perfect.
1329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: What do people think about bounty now? on: May 09, 2019, 10:03:08 PM
The only thing that will make bounty campaigns worth joining again is when you see bitcoin price climbing up again, which gives you hope that you will get big reward on the bounty youve participated.
This is true, and I don't know why so. Projects also looks more serious and less scam project appears when Bitcoin is in a good price. But, we don't know what happen later. Perhaps investors have their interests back to contribute on token sale so that bounty campaigns will give a proper rewards to their participants.
1330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking for Projects which are interested to do IEO on: May 09, 2019, 09:54:40 PM
Why are you looking for them? I guess you have an exchange and want them to conduct an IEO on your exchange so you can attract people to join your platform and get some volumes. Am I right? Unfortunately, that's not good for investors. First, they risk their funds on the project. Second, also they risk their fund on your platform. So, it will be double risk for them.
1331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one is favourite bounty in 2019?? on: May 09, 2019, 09:34:06 PM
I believe there are some legit bounty in a bear market, but not really sure about the profit. It might be legit but less reward. That's the reason why I joined signature campaign with Bitcoin payment. As the 2019 is still going, I do believe there will be some bounty campaigns that could make bounty hunters satisfied with the reward, perhaps it's coming on mid of this year.
1332  Economy / Economics / Re: Can you share Bitcoin percentage in your portfolio? on: May 09, 2019, 09:13:35 PM
I think all people actually hold 100% Bitcoin on their portofolio , and sometimes they just trade it for profit. Bitcoin is the only coin people trust in by the fact that altcoins price are decreased when Bitcoin gain positive return or just dumped. No one should hold other coins for too long for safety.
1333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think will outperform btc in the upcoming crypto summer? on: May 09, 2019, 09:03:57 PM
For long term, a cheap coins has bigger opportunity to gain more profit than Bitcoin. Let's say Bitcoin price increased 50% in a year, these cheap coins can double or triple the price in a year. I can't mentioned one but I will suggest to pick a coin that has an active community and developments, also better for the team to be active on their personal twitter and talk much about blockchain progress.
1334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After Binance have been compromised. on: May 09, 2019, 08:58:13 PM
And now what is your opinion about decentralized exchanges after this event? I think people will finally consider the DEXes more seriously.  Smiley
Decentralized exchange would be great but there is a possibility for creator to wrongly write a contract (only a little possibility). The bigger problem is to exchange coins cross-chain, it's gonna be hard to trade Bitcoin with other cryptocurrency though as they are in different blockchain.
1335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there any chance that XRP can defeat BTC? on: May 09, 2019, 08:44:52 PM
Most people has a bad impression on Ripple. As the network might be decentralized, the system is not. The system is likely to be the same as the current financial system, it will be just centered towards few large banks. There was a rumor, that researcher from BitMEX has discovered that Ripple is missing around 3,200 blocks from the start of the ledger and nodes can't obtain this data. As the result, it's way impossible to audit Ripple and its whole chain in the future. Those are the reasons why people call Ripple a centralized coin. Ripple is not comparable to Bitcoin and can't defeat Bitcoin in any possible ways as Bitcoin has a perfect concept about decentralization.
1336  Economy / Economics / Re: Deflation based currency such as Bitcoin to counter promote economy. on: May 09, 2019, 07:59:38 PM
Currently, all major currencies issued by the government have natural inflation of about 2%.
Bitcoin, on the other hand, is much different, it, in fact, does not have any inflation but deflation.
Bitcoins are created less and less and the number of users does not affect the quantity of creation of Bitcoins.

Inflation on a low level promotes spending while deflation in Bitcoin promotes holding...

My question is, would an economy with a deflation based currency such as Bitcoin work?
In my opinion, If Bitcoin reach a specific prices while it can only be divided by 8 decimals then it will have a little problem as a form of payment. Perhaps, Bitcoin can be just an assets to hold and can't be a form of payment anymore for a little amount of transactions. Of course this deflation model could works but only until it reach the limit. When the limit comes, there must be an upgrade from community so Bitcoin could fit again in society.
1337  Economy / Economics / Re: Will people come back to gold on: May 09, 2019, 07:50:14 PM
If we take a look closer, we have already found Bitcoin and there's only a few opportunity for us to get back on fiat. Let's put aside fiat since there are a lot problem on it and do compare Bitcoin with Gold. The biggest problem on Gold is about the size and weight in transaction : Bitcoin can be divided to 8 decimal and simply used by transferring it to other party while Gold, even can be divided to small pieces, it will be hard for a large amount of transactions. Other problem might be about control : Bitcoin, as we all knew have no center and no one can actually control over it while Gold can be controlled by few parties that has a big power.
1338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coins to invest before bullrun (if happen) on: May 09, 2019, 07:37:51 PM
No coins are good to invest before bullrun, when it comes most of altcoin will decrease in price and if you decide to buy before bullrun then you wil just end in a big loss. Do hold only Bitcoin when it's raising or hold stable coin, and after Bitcoin price is stable then you can fill your portofolio with various potential coins.
1339  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto replacing fiat? on: May 09, 2019, 07:30:52 PM
I believe that while cryptocurrency can not replace or oust Fiat.  Because I do not see problems that they both existed.  So that you can freely transfer from cryptocurrency to fimt and vice versa.
Don't you really see the problem with fiat? There are a lot. Essentially Bitcoin is here not to replace fiat but it could happen in the future anyway. Many Bitcoin supporters want to replace fiat with Bitcoin, this is why questions like "Why fiat should be replaced by Bitcoin" or "Why is it better to use Bitcoin rather than fiat" are very popular among Bitcoin community. Bitcoin is used by few party as a tool to fight against government in order to replace centralized system. However, Bitcoin can always live together with fiat and no need to force it to be a main form of payment, let's just wait which will die first and which will survive.
1340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quarkchain Help needed. Super massive losses. Please suggest on: May 09, 2019, 07:22:04 PM
Hello During main net hype  i bought quarkchain worth 5 btc. I didnt realise what was happening then and now. The market for qkc has come to lowest at sitting at 330 sats. I bought at 1100 sats. I literally have no clue on what shall i do. Please requesting help on this. Please teach what can be done ?
The best thing you can do is to wait for the price to increase. But, if you have time to learn the possibility you can cut-loss (make sure you won't cut-loss for non-profitable thing, you should be bale to recover your loss). I knew there are a lot people complaining about the price on telegram group, but I don't think they are wise investors by put the team as party to blame. What increase and decrease the price is demand and the team has been working well so far (in terms of development)
