1621  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Apakah cocok terjadi di indonesia? on: August 25, 2018, 06:05:22 AM
1622  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Blockchain untuk pemilu on: August 24, 2018, 06:54:22 AM
1623  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: [DISKUSI] Mungkinkah CRYPTOCURRENCY berhasil tanpa dukungan dan bantuan Bank on: August 23, 2018, 03:04:48 PM
Cryptocurrncy memang banyak gan yang saat ini masih bergantung pada bank, contoh nya saja xrp dia berkerjasama sama bank dan itu membuat harga coin itu sendiri menjadi naik dan demam untuk para traders!!!
1624  Local / Bahasa Indonesia (Indonesian) / Re: Dengan melihat setuasi bgini apakah harga BTC akan kembali Normal? on: August 23, 2018, 07:52:00 AM
Saya hanya ingin mendengar pandangan agan masing2 mengenai situasi market saat ini yg dimana harga btc cenderung turun. Apakah harga BTC akan kembali naik lagi? Atau orang2 sudah tidak tertarik lagi dengan BTC? Gimana pendapat agan2 sekalian?

In that case where is fee for pool?
I was talking about GENERATE COINS ( blockchain explorer in that way mark solo mined blocks) not addresses
Fee for pool is usual transaction 10 XPM to pool fee address.
xpmforall/coinsforall use new address for each coinbase transactions (generated coins), x-i-tech uses same address for its.
1626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] [ANN] Primecoin Release - First Scientific Computing Cryptocurrency on: June 30, 2018, 04:47:44 AM
I was looking on blockchain explorer of Primecoin. And I wonder

https://bchain.info/XPM/addr/AZtxQr2FMR4PURkVAAuK17mDJ17grUWrUz

Look at this address. This person mostly GENERATE coins, so he is solo mining. At difficulty 11 I doubt that Claymore miner is efficient since it works only on older drivers with older cards. But this is not whole story. When I do solo mining with Claymore miner , on every block I found I pay fee for Claymore and that was visible on my transactions. On those blocks, however there is NO fee for everyone. So this person has solo miner, working on newer drivers , and obvious  this miner is not public available. Second if you look at confirmations he found many block one by one: so he must have HUGE number of GPU ( maybe it is ASICs miner) or his miner software is way faster then public one.

It looks like, we all using pools and available software miner is cheated in some manner, and that is not good  Cry

You found generate address of http://xpm.x-i-tech.com/ pool.
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] Primecoin Core wallet on: June 15, 2018, 06:09:32 AM
Why it does not work for XPM solo mining?
Can you make xpmclient for solo mining with new wallet for XPM?
I think not good adding interfaces to wallet for third party miners. So, at this month I'll release separate solo mining server, compatible.. with all XPM wallets, DTC and other coins based on bitcoin.
1628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source XPM (Primecoin) GPU Miner & Pool xpmforall.org on: June 12, 2018, 12:39:51 PM
and that doesnt make you the dev to be deciding to start modding the wallet
its the community that should decide if sunny never comes back
if he decides its needed just like he did when heartbleed came out then he will update it
so far i see no need
and you running most the network its a conflict of interest
You are wrong.
You can use https://wiki.bitcoin.com/w/Protocol_specification and https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin for create and release your own bitcoin wallet. Look again to https://bitcoin.org/en/choose-your-wallet - there are many alternative wallets created by third party developers. What difference for Primecoin ?
You need be a dev for make decision about any soft fork or hard fork, but developer status not enough, also you need community support (don't forget Ethereum classic, segwit 2x). Not need to be a dev for create alternative wallet Smiley
1629  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [XPM] Primecoin Core wallet on: June 12, 2018, 03:49:32 AM
Are you part of the team?

Why start a thread like this?

Shouldn't this be on the main thread?
Status of this wallet is alternative and full compatible with current network, like Elecrtum for BTC.
Last almost 5 year no any update from Primecoin developers.

why are you tryin to take over primecoin the community didnt ask for this and you have most the network hash at your pool
which makes this look worse
Already answer here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=831708.msg39922347#msg39922347
But can do it again.
https://bitcoin.org/ru/choose-your-wallet
Do you think that all BTC wallet delevopers want take over Bitcoin? Smiley
Quote from: pepi
Can we solo mine with this wallet any "your miner"?
Any wallet allow mining, if miner support it. xpmclient now is only pool miner, but it possible to add solo mining feature. Anyway, this discussion not for this thread.

Second: why you give bootstrap  file?
First launch quite faster with bootstrap file than synchronization from network.
Quote from: pepi
When syncing is over I will upload that kind of file, and you can transfer it to primecoin page ( I sow you have access for bootstrap file)
You need linearize script like this https://github.com/bitcoin/bitcoin/tree/master/contrib/linearize, but compatible with Primecoin, it not ready for release now.
1630  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source XPM (Primecoin) GPU Miner & Pool xpmforall.org on: June 12, 2018, 03:26:49 AM
also why are you trying to start this new wallet you are not sunny king the dev of primecoin
already not good that your pool holds most the network
It's incorrect question, because "new wallet" don't implement any soft fork or hard fork, it full compatible with current network. Look here https://bitcoin.org/ru/choose-your-wallet
May be you think, that all these wallets made by Satoshi? Smiley
And don't forget, last update from developer was at 2013 year.

maybe OS makes difference
Here is screen of system with Phenom 2 X4 955
I don't see GPUs amount on second screenshot, but 42% CPU load looks normally.
1631  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source XPM (Primecoin) GPU Miner & Pool xpmforall.org on: June 11, 2018, 04:29:12 PM
10 min ago get it in miner:
Message from server: Can't receive work from primecoin wallet
What is it?
P.S. And now show it everytime when I start the miner
Blockchain database corrupted, successfully repaired from backup.

Link to first release of new Primecoin Core wallet for Windows/Linux/MacOS X: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=4454417

I did not test miner on Celeron G18xx, but know than dual core Celeron G3900 can handle 6 GPUs with 40-50% total CPU load, G1840 not much differ from G3900, 99% cpu load is abnormal. What OS and driver do you use ?

OS - win7x64SP1, drvs 391.35 and 388.43. On Pentium G3240 and 6*1070 load is about 80-85% and CPD about 0.3
Maybe speed also depends on how card is connected to mainboard? Cause i see higher speed on card connected on pci-e x8 speed without risers and slower on those connected on x1
I found user with 8-GPU rig and Celeron CPU and can't reproduce so high CPU load.. I'll post screenshot soon.
But this rig uses Windows 10, not Win7

What's new in 0.1.5:
Quote
First release of primecoin core wallet based on latest bitcoin 0.16.0 code
Full MacOS X support

This is full-featured wallet compatible with current Primecoin network (no any soft forks implemented), you can begin use it now instead of old Primecoin 0.1.2. How you can begin work with this wallet:

1. Synchronize from network.

2. Use bootstrap http://primecommunity.org/bootstrap.7z

Put bootstrap.dat file to data directory, no any difference with other Bitcoin-based wallets.

3. Use old client directory.

Client ask you about reindexing database, usually it takes 4-8 hours depends on hardware.
WARNING: index database format incompatible with old client! If you want continue use old Primecoin 0.1.2, backup your data directory with blocks, chainstate, index and wallet.dat!

About intermediary nodes.

Primecoin 0.1.2 cannot be block source for Primecoin Core wallet, to solve this problem was created intermediary wallet version 0.1.3. If you want support primecoin network, you can create intermediary node based on sources https://github.com/primecoin-ng/primecoin-intermediary (binary releases coming soon). Current release contains 5 hardcoded nodes for bootstrap, other nodes will be placed here.

eXtremal maybe these is a way to make even less CPU usage for nvidia cuda miner? 6*1070 make 99% load on celeron G1840 and make less CPD than on i5
I did not test miner on Celeron G18xx, but know than dual core Celeron G3900 can handle 6 GPUs with 40-50% total CPU load, G1840 not much differ from G3900, 99% cpu load is abnormal. What OS and driver do you use ?

xpm NEEDS CPU and you are running 6 cards on a slow cpu at that
this isnt like any other coin you cant cheap out on cpu and expect to load a rig full of cards
XPM not need CPU power, dual core Celeron at 3.0GHz easy handles 6 GPUs, quad core i3/i5, ryzen 5 and etc gives less than 2% performance advantage.

I'm trying to run 5 RX480 on a Win 10 machine, AMD blockchain driver using xpmclient-10.2.2 with these parameters:

sieveSize = 420
weaveDepth = 40960
windowSize = 8192
multiplierLimits = 24, 31, 35

The rest are set in their default values.

It runs for around 2 hours and then it crashes. Anyone got a hint of how I can fix this?
Quick fix - make .bat file like this
Quote
:label
xpmclient
goto label
in miner directory and run it.

eXtremal, can you check my account?  I started using NVIDIA cuda miner on May 5th the day it was released.  From January until then I received 145 XPM, since then zero.

address: ALZaFKJ1EpoV77mDi43F1fJeMcYGTp2x6u

I check it every day and it looks like it is generating shares as usual, thousands of 7-chains, etc.

Latest payout 17 may, now not workers connected.

Hi eXtremal,
As I understood you tryed Nvidia card with stock setting.
Could you give me more info with parameter make better performence?
For example if I move up sieveSize = "210" - I can go to around 235 on my RIG, before crash it.
Or move down multiplierLimits?
Could you give me more info about?
Thank you and appreciate for your work.
Hi,
I think that all values is optimal for NVidia cards.
If you want try different sieveSize, change windowSize to 8192 before.
1638  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Open Source XPM (Primecoin) GPU Miner & Pool xpmforall.org on: May 12, 2018, 07:57:06 AM
The latency is also super high, much higher than usual. It is normally in the <130 ms range.
A ping of coinsforall.io shows a 20% packet loss.
--- coinsforall.io ping statistics ---
249 packets transmitted, 199 received, 20% packet loss, time 248475ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 109.241/133.198/387.692/40.559 ms

The xpmforall.org pool also shows similar stats although I did not run as long:
--- xpmforall.org ping statistics ---
70 packets transmitted, 57 received, 18% packet loss, time 69147ms
rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 109.909/131.011/324.011/32.249 ms

I also ran a traceroute and tried to ping some of the intermediate routers to see if it is the ISP or the destination, but none of those addresses are pingable, which is not unusual.

It was internet connection problem, now cannot reproduce, ping with 1000 packets from different countries shows 0% packet loss. Pool software works stable.

I woul like to ask you what setting is better for profit.
default 26, 33, 36

or setting in optimized version of miner?
multiplierLimits = ["24", "31", "35"];
24,31,35 better.
Both pool gives same profit, but coinsforall better in use.

or setting in optimized version of miner?
multiplierLimits = ["24", "31", "35"];

Had issue with CUDA version even if it submiting shares, pool did not see it, some 12h ago
address: AX1BYX5hK1ZSfQQZSCwWMC8PNsnkja4Kwe
opencl version now works
Default pool changed to coinsforall.io in CUDA version config, what pool "ignores" your shares?
I guess cuda version is straight port of opencl as I expect NV GTX1070 to be 2x faster then AMD 290x, but I guess prime sieve/algo is so complex no one wants to dig it
I can expain why NVidia cards like 1070/1070Ti cannot be faster than 290X.

Hello,

I am getting the following error:

Error:218
failed with error CUDA Error Invalid PTX at C:/build/xpmclient/src/cudautil.cpp:88

I am testing it in my PC that have just one Nvidia 1060. In the config, I have only changed the payout address.

Thank You
Driver version?  May be too old drivers, not compatible with CUDA 9.1

HI eXtremal,
thanks for your work.
I would ask you where is problem I have 1x 1080ti and CPD= 0,63 last day but I earned only about 0,7XPM?
thanks for answer.

I need know XPM addesss, send in PM.
