1621  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which one do you think its more healthy for a project on: August 11, 2022, 10:55:10 PM
Most especially new projects do you think its healthy to rush things up or take a lot of time and gradually release updates and follow roadmaps slowly? There are some complains that most projects aren't following the exact timing on their roadmap and some even takes this is Red Flag.

There should be a respective timeline for their development plans, why rush things? Any good significance in doing that?

Aside from that, it's not even possible to do such rush plans as it might just result in poor execution.

That's why there's a timeline to give time to fully prepare for those respective tasks on the lineup.

It's common that most projects can't follow their roadmap but they should provide a valid reason for such delays. If it's reasonable, then you can extend your patience. If it's not, then clearly the project is not serious about doing their best to meet its goals.
1622  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: August 11, 2022, 10:51:14 PM

May Ben Simmons pa sila oh haha.

1623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: August 11, 2022, 10:45:43 PM
You would really be still converting from fiat to btc and btc to fiat and this is where people do really usually do in the end of the day thats why i dont see a point on why making out some argumentation if market dumps do really give out some impact on gamblers.Come to think that they are playing and they are willing to lose money and they wont really be minding on what the market condition would be.

That should be the common approach by most gamblers as in the first place, "gamblers are gamblers" regardless if they are betting using fiat or crypto.

If bitcoin dump has an impact on gamblers, there should be a big concern about that since then as we already experienced lots of bitcoin dump in the process but there's not. Nothing really difference when a gambler converts fiat to bitcoin to be used on crypto-gambling sites.

It's just the same as the usual purpose that most people do when they convert bitcoin to fiat or vice-versa.
1624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: August 11, 2022, 10:37:20 PM
We already proved that he cannot really defeat the guys in that weight class because he is already struggling in the light-heavy.

"For now", yes. He is not capable yet of dealing with challenges in Cruiserweight.

He needs to be used first on fighting at the Light Heavyweight to slowly adopt the environment there until such time that he's now fully prepared to step on upper weight class. A target to defeat Dmitry Bivol should be on Canelo's future plan as if he can't pass that guy who previously defeated, then he won't test his strength if there's an improvement later on.

If Canelo loses this trilogy fight against GGG, then it will just be one more reason why he won't last in the Cruiserweight. How can he deal with active and prime boxers there if he can't beat a veteran boxer that is now close to retirement and far from being prime now?
1625  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 11, 2022, 10:29:35 PM
I also have that same opinion about Celtics, they don't need KD, the only thing that they needed to do is to continue doing more progress with their system, they've made it to the finals last season the players deserves kudos for doing their roles and now they will again try to push for another shot in chasing the world title, having KD and breaking the good chemistry might not be a good idea for the Celtics' managements.

However, Boston Celtics show interest in Kevin Durant and even consider putting Jaylen Brown on the trade package.

It means the Celtics are willing to break their core just to get Durant even though Jaylen Brown was a big piece during their last Finals run. But since the Brooklyn Nets want more big fish aside from Jaylen Brown, that ends the story now, or...

I'm now even more concerned about Jaylen Brown. Even though NBA is business and players must accept that they might be shipped away even how valuable they are on the team, it gives Brown a disappointment that the team who thinks he values him is willing to just trade him away easily without even considering. I hope that won't affect his performance on the team which I doubt it really will.
1626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: trading more efficiently on: August 11, 2022, 10:21:54 PM
Hi I would like to know what do you use to trade cryptocurrencies as efficiently as possible (applications, software etc) or some tips...before I was using a platform where there was no trailing stop loss...and for me the trailing stop loss is saving me a lot of time and money...is there any other type of advanced orders that are you using?

And how do you organize your setup, monitors...right now I am using a not very big monitor...and finally is there any way to change the background of the screen in the exchanges when trading?

Getting input from others is good but to tell you honestly, just continue what you are doing right now until such time that you can automatically think of a way how to deal with your concern. Are you new to trading? If yes, then it's really common to have difficulties while in the process of learning.

As you mentioned, you found using stop-loss saves time and money because that was your own experience. Just continue doing it right now and believe me, you will now soon to advanced by yourself using other methods that will suit your needs.

For your last statement about display concern, you are the one who can only find a solution to that based on your comfortability regardless if you are using big or small monitors. For your last question, what do you mean by changing the background of the screen in the exchanges when trading? Commonly, the interface can be set as light or dark.
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing Potential projects on: August 10, 2022, 06:36:15 PM
As we all are seeing the launching of new projects one after one. So, one should take care of many things before investing. How to know the real potential of these new projects?

Honestly, most new projects do have a potential, as they are supposed to be. In the first place, they won't be successful attracting investors if what they offer is a trash and the use-case is not necessary or not appropriate to adopt and integrate in the crypto-world.

But the big question is, will they have a successful run? Will developers continue to be dedicated even the project seems not getting any good attention or being hype? Are they serious on following their roadmap and future development plans? And the most important question, are they really honest and won't turned into scam later on?

It's really risky to be part of the startup. That was part of the risks that needs to be taken note before considering putting money on new projects. If you don't understand the risks, please don't engage. There are other good options that's more worth taking a risk compare to that.

Errol Spence Vs. Terence Crawford Near Completion For Nov.12th Or Nov.19th

And the long-wait is over as finally, there's an update now regarding Errol Spence and Terence Crawford Undisputed Welterweight fight this year. The boxing fans left hanging for months as no official updates were released if this fight will happened or not.

Although what stated on the article is still not considered as "official", we can at least expect that this fight will happened for real.

Hope after that news, the official announcement will be follow, if not this month, at least by next month, September.

1629  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 10, 2022, 06:08:07 PM

Anyways, this is the fresh update we got so far:

Errol Spence Vs. Terence Crawford Near Completion For Nov.12th Or Nov.19th

This catch my attention in the article: "There’s no word what the purse splits are for Spence & Crawford, and it’s possible we may never find out."

If you're not aware, Spence has been ducking elite opponent and are only fighting when he know he can dominate.
This fight against Crawford, nothing is standing on their way or something that'll hold on for this fight to happen.
Crawford is always ready to fight as soon as possible. But look, why does this match has not been set yet?
I'm wondering what is holding this time after Crawford announced that there's no promotion company that's holding him back and he's free whatever he wants and whoever he wants to fight. Obviously, it would be Spence.

We can apply your statement about Spence maybe before but from what I see this time, Spence and Crawford will really make this happened for real. It's just that we are clueless about the progress and both camps are also silent about that.

If Spence is really doing some attempt to avoid this blockbuster unification fight against Crawford, we should already see some trashtalks from Crawford by now about Spence doing some shitty things to not let their fight happened. We know Crawford and won't hesitate to tell the public if Spence is doing some actions to delay the fight. Telling the public about it will give pressure to Spence but Crawford is just silent too.

Gennadiy Golovkin Needs A Knockout To Beat Canelo Alvarez Says Shawn Porter

Shawn Porter is concerned about GGG's age saying he's not the same as before. That make sense though but that analysis is an obvious one and for me, age can't really considered as a hindrance and really a disadvantage for GGG.

Not stated in the article but I think his conclusion is, there's no way GGG can beat Canelo if the fight will end up in Decision just like the previous results of their fights where it ended up Draw and 1 win for Canelo. The judges might side with Canelo especially if their fight won't be the same as how Canelo-Bivol fight goes where the viewers see that Canelo is really struggling against Bivol.

Either way, I hope that we can see an explosive performance by GGG on this trilogy and don't allow Canelo to have an easy win.
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 10, 2022, 05:40:42 PM
About the play, I wonder what Lebron's role would be this time. It is good for Westbrook if he will be the primary ball handler since that is his natural position. And if AD stays healthy, it will be a lethal combination. But if LeBron will also be handling the ball, then it will be a conflict and they will have the same result as last year.

Surely, there's no way LeBron James will adjust in terms of role. Can't see him doing that as the Lakers offense is effective when he's the one primary handling the ball and he was used on doing it since then. Westbrook should try to adopt being the backcourt duo instead since after all, he already has experienced playing with other players who also has the same role like James Harden in Houston Rockets and Bradley Beal in Washington Wizards.

I'm expecting Westbrook to knows his role this time and do some adjustments after playing for the Lakers on one season. But aside from concern about Westbrook, Anthony Davis should also try his best to be healthy all-season. We can consider that as one of the reason why Lakers ended up worst last season. LeBron on the other hand just needs to be on his usual.

Alright, can we now consider Westbrook won't part-ways with the Lakers next season and will continue his saga there? If that so, I don't think Lakers will consider trying or attempt to land another big fish this off-season but instead will just revamp their supporting squad.
1632  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Sen. Manny Strikes Again... Creating Dog Themed NFT on: August 10, 2022, 05:32:00 PM

Should we allow or support internet sensations to fight in the ring I'm ok with the Paul brothers but these two other so-called internet sensations are making a mockery of boxing.

That's not illegal in the first place so no choice but to allow them to just organize fights like that. Clearly, it's about earning money regardless of the purpose as no way obviously that they will held such events if not for money. The fact is, there are people who really wants that entertainment that's why even there's a call for real professional boxers to stop those sh*ts, nothing they can do.

Simply if we found an exhibition match as annoying, then just ignore those and never pay money to watch those.

That is something we need to accept now as it was considered as part of the entertainment.
1634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: August 10, 2022, 05:13:07 PM

I thought San Miguel Beermen can somehow make the game close as after being behind by big points in the 1Q as they were able to rally at the 2Q. CJ Perez and Marcio Lassiter are some of their key players that do the job for them why they were able narrow the lead. I just can't imagined why all of a sudden their momentum got broke and that's the start of Meralco getting back to their momentum.

But if I remember, SMB still got cut the lead at below 10 points in the 3Q but that's it as Meralco just continue to drain their shots. Meralco also established a high-scoring first quarter game with 36 points and if my calculation is right, there was around 5 3's they made in just 1Q. Not sure about it though but the first 9 points of Meralco was 3 consecutive 3 points shot as I skipped watching the game during that time and began to watch again in 2Q.

With that Meralco win, I'm now opening again our AFC Champion Outright bet for those who wants to bet on Meralco. However, Meralco bettors should reach Php 5,000 bet. The deadline of placing bets for them is 5 minutes before the Game 5 starts.

For recap:

Talk N Text - harizen (Php 5,000) - FULL
San Miguel Beermen - jakelyson (Php 1,000) , bisdak40 (Php 2,000) , Sanitough (Php 2,000) - FULL
Meralco Bolts -

So I think its best to either bet with stablecoins or not trade back and forth if the market isnt looking good.

Not really necessary to bet on stablecoins just to think that spending top coins is kind of a waste. Remember that in some gambling sites, there's a feature where bettors can place a bet on its Fiat value to still control the bet on their preferred fiat currency value while using cryptos.

But either way, I think that's not really a big deal for gamblers. If that so, we should see a declined in numbers of gamblers during the bear market but still, the crypto-gambling is alive and kicking regardless of the market trend.

It's because gambling is gambling and crypto-gamblers will just gamble for their usual purposes. Simple as that.
1636  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: August 10, 2022, 04:32:17 PM
At ngayon gusto na nya sibakin to? hehehe.

Inipit pa niya talaga iyong Team Owner hehe. Abangan natin ang gagawin ng Nets management.
1637  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in Casino tokens such as BFG, OWL or TFS on: August 08, 2022, 06:44:55 PM
Owl game was reputed one, because it had huge amount of players as compared to other two.The promotion of that project was done with one of reputed manager of forum.Huge people had participated for the same.Secondly most people had their owl token for the play of game and as an asset.Owl token can be hold for the long run, surely the price will pump with the certain period of time.

Do we have a source for that? Where we can see the actual stats of how many players are actively playing at those 3? Or it's just a wild guess of yours since, among those 3 sites mentioned by OP, Owl.game seems the most active in doing campaigns when the time this thread was created?

Either way, I think we can't really compare these 3 sites in terms of most players they have.

Moving forward seems owl.games really attracts anyone's attention during the last month as it established its All-Time high however, like any other altcoins, nothing can withstand the effect of Bitcoin price once starts to enter the bearish mode.
1638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think New Casino Should Partnered With Bounty Managers To Gain Trust? on: August 08, 2022, 06:24:26 PM
Ofc, man. This is how "reputation" works. Casino hire trusted bounty manager, like Yahoo or Hhampuz. They share this "trust" (abstract term) with this casino. Win win situation. So yeah, for casino it will be an advantage, otherwise it will be much harder for casino to get trust between users of bitcointalk (if it do not have a big name known between people)

You have a good point there and it's an obvious one. The fact that they hired reputable campaign managers here is one good step in building a reputation here in the community. It also means that they are willing to spend money on advertising and marketing as just placing a banner elsewhere is not enough. This forum is the largest crypto-discussion platform and the gambling section here is one of the active sections here making it a good risk to also spend advertising here.

However, it doesn't change the fact that there's a chance these sites might use the popularity of campaign managers as part of the plan of becoming a shit site later on. That case is possible to happen although I doubt that it will for real since building a reputation is really hard and if the site already earned it, that is something a good achievement as it will last for a long run.

Anyways since sometimes I miss some issues here in the forum, is there a gambling site already that turned out scam after being handled by Hhampuz and Yahoo?  I'm referring only to their previously handled campaigns and not to other managers. Just out of curiosity. There are closed ones but the exit was smooth
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: August 08, 2022, 05:44:53 PM
He can match with other boxers that he haven't taken yet and I guess that's where he should focused first before aiming for someone like Inoue again.

A rematch with Inoue is not even close to happening. The time Nonito Donaire will take a shot again at the Bantamweight title, Inoue might be at the point now where he challenges boxers in a much upper-weight division (probably at 122 lbs up) which is possibly his next task if he will become an undisputed champion on the bantamweight.

Adding to that, it's not even sure if all of his future fights will be a Victory for him. That's a long climb again before having a chance for a title match.

Right now, it's Paul Butler's WBO title left for Inoue that needs to steal and he will now become an undisputed bantamweight champion. If that happened, no more challenges were left in that division, and moving-up weight is the logical thing that he will do next. He's also catching age that's why as much as possible, he should still at his best shape once he considers moving up.
1640  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: August 08, 2022, 04:54:10 PM
That's what Crawford should agree, this is a big fight but he is not in the position to demand a split purse, getting 40% is big enough though because if he wins, sure this is not going to be his last fight and he will be having big fights in the future which could potentially bring him more money.

As far as referring to recent news, rumors, or just an analysis by anyone regarding the progress of this fight, I think the discussion about the purse split is not really the big hindrance to why the fight is not officially deal. We don't know what's happening behind the curtain but a purse split is something that doesn't really need a deep discussion from both parties. I'm sure Crawford doesn't have any problem if he will get the 40% of the split.

Not unless there will be news or rumor that Spence wants more than 60%, that's really a problem although I doubt that issue will happen for real.

For now, let's disregard that speculation about the purse split until there's official news about that.
