1641  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy wisely not because of anybody. on: October 12, 2022, 08:45:07 PM
I think celebrities and influencers should become the last ones that gonna influence your decision in investing after all it's your money that you invested, if there's any investment that went wrong which could make you lose so much money you definitely wouldn't get reimbursed by them even though you are following them like they could forecast into the future, therefore never just blindly follow these influencers.
Agreed, and we need to know for what reason they're called celebrities and Influencers. According to me majority of the celebrities are good actors, so acting for money is not a big thing for them.

When we talk of Influencers, they're long term market watchers and have the ability to make impact over the market. In the past they're good in it. Now slowly they try to promote and generate revenue than doing the right thing.
1642  Economy / Economics / Re: Switching The World To Renewable Energy Will Cost $62 Trillion on: October 12, 2022, 08:38:40 PM
62 trillion is a huge amount and I am not sure how this amount is reached! However, even if this happens, that will happen phase wise and not in one go! This will also gradually eliminate the need of traditional energy production which has its own environmental benefits.
It's a huge amount and few countries like Germany is much focused on moving everything to renewable energy. This is gonna cost big, but the capital will be compensated in the long term out of the fund generated. Beyond all the money facts, it makes environment better for human survival.
So even if this cost is true, I believe the benefits will outrun the cost in long term and the humankind will see a cleaner tomorrow to breathe which is more important than the cost itself.
Lot of things on the positive note happens out of renewable energy transition, but very few governments and politicians show interest. Because, it is one of the big industry through which good revenue is generated by government as well as politicians enjoy the goodness of corruption Shocked
1643  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 90% of bitcoin is owned by 2% of user base on: October 12, 2022, 08:32:03 PM
2% of user base...

In 2021 the estimations says there are 106,000,000 people who own Bitcoins, so the 2% of that is 212,000 users. who have 90% of the coins, it doesn't looks like something weird because the early investors still holding high amounts.

Source: https://buybitcoinworldwide.com/how-many-bitcoin-users/
There's nothing to get astonished or worried, because similar is the scenario with every form of investment. Maybe it can be stocks, forex, real estate, etc. A small difference 2± can be found. This is much about the money holding. Early adopters have a good volume and same is with the late jumpers who had good money backing to invest.

1645  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A painter received $50 worth of bitcoin on June 2013. on: October 11, 2022, 11:57:46 PM
While everyone seems to be focused on the receiving part, I think the hero of the story really is the person who requested a free painting of Bitcoin, gave a $50 worth of tip for it in Bitcoin, and went through all the trouble of educating the painter on how to receive Bitcoin and what it was, etc.

That's a great person.
If the person who educated her to have a wallet and receive the tip haven't done anything and gone same as other audience of her, this could've never been a news. The credit goes to the sender and if she had taken it seriously she could've opened it long back. Now she might've understood the real value of bitcoin and it is good that she met him in person for the goodness he have done to her.
1646  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 11, 2022, 11:01:45 PM
Of course, there are a lot of fraudulent casinos and it shows that there are a lot of people on the Internet who are not able to conduct independent research on the reputation of the gambling site. Before depositing money in the casino, it is very important to devote some time to its research. Only after making sure that the casino has been around long enough and has positive reviews, you can deposit there. And of course do not need to make a deposit casino large sums.
Not only gambling sites all online platforms have huge amount of scams. but we need to research deeply to choose genuine sites only. I think this forum is a good source to choose a good site .so , i think is anyone chooses gambling sites from this forum  .He will fall victim to very few scams

Yes, this forum has a system of trust based on reviews and flags, but many users still do not use these tools and fall for scams. In addition, there are a huge number of people who do not visit this forum. Scammers are constantly inventing new ways to cheat and to stand up to them we must constantly improve our level of knowledge. Otherwise it is very easy to lose your money.
In the past there were not much of people into the cryptomarket. Same as that is the usage of gambling platforms with cryptocurrency acceptance. Over the years the growth have caused big change in the usage of cryptocurrencies on different needs. This has given good visibility to cryptocurrency usage on different needs and more scammers have started to find ways to scam the new comers. Here gambling platforms too isn't an exception.
1647  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: October 11, 2022, 10:44:05 PM
~snip~
True, just a month to go before the world cup, and Qatar is doing some serious installation to keep the fans comfortable even to the extent of installing air-conditioning in the stadium due to the weather condition so I love the idea of taking this year's world cup host to be Qatar, I think the world cup should be a relief to the crisis going on in the world since football is actually loved all over the world, it brings the whole word together interesting just in is own way.

Yeah, I'm eagerly waiting to watch the world cup to bring some kind of normality to our lives after years of crazy stuff happening.

Last world cup we had no idea of covid, what a great life it was and we didn't even knew it!
Entire World is watching. My country is much into cricket, slowly people have begun to give importance to football and other games with the existence of different leagues. The same have now created the expections over the FIFA. Few of my friends have went to Qatar to watch FIFA. I didn't expect such a big response from my country.
1648  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: October 11, 2022, 10:32:45 PM
The rising inflation force me to spend Crypto unlike the market. We can experience the increase in price over each and everything. Same time the increase in the monthly pay haven't got big variation and this force to spend the crypto holding at times when there is no other choice. Overcoming the situation and holding cryptocurrency in these days have turned to be big task. The present market is time to hold and to accumulate more.
1649  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 11, 2022, 11:15:28 AM
Finally group stages of Women's Asia Cup cricket have ended. India Women, Pakistan Women, Srilanka Women and Thailand Women team have qualified for the semi finals. First semifinal is India Women vs Thailand Women, second one is Pakistan Women vs Srilanka. Bangladesh Women team missed the chance sitting at the fifth position. It looks like the final is gonna be India Women vs India Women team.
1650  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: October 10, 2022, 11:57:58 PM
from the looks of it, it's going to be a really exciting world cup this year with those players you mentioned without forgetting Benzema, if any of these teams, France, Brazil, Argentina face each other, we will see some crazy matches, i think the world cup is between them.
Fans are excited and so are the organizer - The long wait is going to be over.
Getting close to the start, football fans from all around the world have started to fly to Qatar. The organizers have made everything necessary for the fans, and a crowd of 1.2 million is being expected. Based on the information available on internet, $26000 luxury suites to $84 shared rooms for the fans were kept ready. Football at its luxury and opening ceremony is big with Nora Fatehi. I believe Arabs were great followers of her  Cheesy
1651  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: October 10, 2022, 11:26:11 PM
Ishan Kishan never expected that he would get caught at 93. The partnership between Ishan and Shreyas led to India winning the last ODI match. The ball was not coming to the bat and still, Shreyas Iyer was able to score his century. Good comeback by the India side.
The well deserved century for Ishan Kishan is just seven runs away. I must say that he played a selfless inning and that's how he plays for the team. His performance yesterday was excellent, and he truly deserves the ton, but I believe this is just the beginning. There is no limit to the depth of Indian bench strength. Overall, kudos to their partnership, which contributed to India's second ODI win.

The two openers Shikhar Dhawan and Shubman Gill could not stay at the crease for long, but Ishan Kishan and Iyer's outstanding performances helped India win easily. Shubman Gill missed the century for just 7 runs. The performance of Indian batsmen in recent matches has been outstanding. Even the second-row batsmen are in good form. But their bowling is still not strong enough. If India wants to become champion in the upcoming T20 World Cup, then their bowlers must play well.
Indian cricketers are famous all over the world. All the players in group A and B outside the national team that have also the ability to defeat any strong team. The way India performed in the last match, they really played a commendable game for ODI cricket. Especially Shreyas Iyer who was unbeaten on 113 on the other hand Ishan Kishan missed the century by just 7 runs. Due to the performance of both of them, India easily won the match.
There are able players and the team is good to win any match. Just think of the previous match, almost the same team wasn't able to reach the target of 249 runs. The team is good and we can't expect the players to do it consistently. At times things happen out of the calculation and the following players too makes mistake. In the last match the openers missed it and the following players took responsibility and played according to the situation which is the reason for the commendable winning.

Today we'll come to know how good is the team India, as the third ODI which is going to be the decider for the series win.
1652  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: October 10, 2022, 11:19:47 PM

Congrats to India - ofcourse there is so much adult and professional sports on the TV these days that people don't care about women sports or teen sports.
But they too need recognition like adult and men sports do.
Agreed, each and every sporting channel have got some cricketing action or some leagues. This makes Women's cricket go unnoticed, and this time there is better visibility for Women's Cricket than the past. Today the group stage matches are getting over.

At times the cricket seems to be fun to watch as the girls try to hit hard and it never goes crossing a fielder. In the match between Thailand and Malaysia I fixed my mind to move to the next channel after a four. It took lot time for this to happen. So, with something in mind can keep us watching as the scores will be around 100 runs.
1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another example is how greed destroy crypto investors. on: October 10, 2022, 10:30:43 PM
That's why it is always said 'never trust the dev'.
Sorry for the lose mate. This is crypto and shits like this are bound to happen.

But to be safe side, always invest what you can afford to lose, cause it might happen.

The developer is a person financially interested. Most IDOs held on Pancakeswap are scam, in other words REKT. If there is an opportunity to make money on such tokens, then only at the beginning, when there is hype, then all these tokens after the launchpad start to fall in value very quickly. Such tokens are very expensive to hold and very often the deposit from holding such tokens for a long time can decrease dozens of times and leave the investor with a lot of garbage.
Most IDO reach until pancakeswap listing. Once after that the regular trading volume could help them listed on next tier of exchanges. Many stop there due to the lack of funding required to get listed. Very few move further from pancakeswap. This is how majority turn to be scam, even when the team and project objective is good.
1654  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: TAMADOGE to $1 soon? on: October 10, 2022, 10:25:17 PM
$1 is not likely gonna happen soon unless Elon Musk twitted about it. What do I think about it? nothing special there were too many meme coins before it with the same plans and whitepaper. I can't even count how many of those projects failed, I wouldn't be surprised if it is the same people running these memecoins because on how much money they are getting from people buying into this.
The coin is added to different articles as the best to invest during the year 2022. I'm not sure of the memecoin, maybe this can grow good as the backing is with the play to earn. I don't find Elon Musk can be a reason for the growth, even if he makes a tweet. This time it won't give results as that of the market have with doge and Shiba.
1655  Economy / Gambling / Re: To what extent do you chase anonymity while gambling? on: October 10, 2022, 10:22:05 PM
Hey guys.
Choosing crypto in casinos has always also to do with more anonimous gambling.
Anyway I'm curious how important is anonimity to you when you pay & play?

^If you care about your privacy and security then you prefer to use a casino where you play and gamble with anonymity.
A cryptocurrency is a perfect tool you can mask your identity and cover your privacy and that is the reason that most gambler transfer to crypto than using their ATM card for fiat which is probably linked to their personal information. So I think it is very important to gamble with anonymity and choose a legit casino. As long as there is an option to choose to avoid KYC casinos, for now, most of them are KYC casinos.
More users who were using fiat based casinos in the past never goes back once after using cryptocurrency accepted gambling platforms for different reasons. The major one being the KYC free withdrawal for limited amount. Next thing is the fast settlement of winnings. There is nothing to get annoyed, because it is our responsibility to go through the terms and conditions and make deposits than just agreeing on everything without reading and finally raising questions.
1656  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Question to players: what does really drive you crazy in an online casino? on: October 10, 2022, 10:16:52 PM
These days gambling platforms have the best support team as the competence is quite high. Withdrawal issues were stated as major thing that annoys them, but I haven't encountered anything personally as my withdrawals were of small amount. I find lack of briefing about the game, every game have got the similarity in functioning. When we have briefing about the particular game it'll help new comers know the game and play than just spending.
1657  Economy / Economics / Re: The whole tipping culture in western countries is unfair and totally wrong! on: October 09, 2022, 11:20:00 PM
The process of tipping can be connected to the culture, it can be a support to the staff, and it can be anything. End of the day it should not pressure the consumer.

Initially tipping is the small contribution for the service being provided and to spread happiness to the one served. Later it turned to be a status sign, and this is where people started to tip. I don't know about the western nations, and I'm about my country. This ended up with expectation of tips on service. Now it is a pressure for consumer and the service variation can be found as one of the user mentioned.

I work at restaurant before and mostly the tip will not go directly to us staff but rather it will go to the tip box then the whole kitchen staff will divide so that all of the workers who work for the food will get equal. but I don't know about the other but for me I really discourage to give this nor implement this because sometimes this will cause costumer profiling and some staffs will not entertain those costumer who think that they will not give them a tip. But this is case to case basis and depends on the environment where you work at.
I loved the way the tip is being shared among the staffs, because it'll not pressure the consumer as well as gives equal distribution based on what they got as tip throughout the day.
1658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I helped my dad bought some Bitcoin last night on: October 09, 2022, 09:58:31 PM
He's not really open minded though and has a lot of pride. It's just his own instincts that he only wants to buy Bitcoin.

Then appeal to his conservative mindset and tell him Binance and other exchanges are for those who don't believe the system is rigged and controlled.

My grandmother after the second world war absolutely distrusted banks, famously kept whatever money she had in her house. I know your dad must be from my generation, the same distrust.

A conservative would want to have his own wallet, his own sole control... and actual Bitcoin. He knows those numbers on that app's just numbers and not real Bitcoin right?
Sole control over the holding is missed while we use it is secured on the centralized exchanges. There's distrust from specific set of people who are good with technology whereas majority find it to be trusted, because they have a thinking of getting support of something goes wrong.

Maybe those on the Exchanges can be mere numbers, but it can be withdrawn to different non custodial wallets. So, for some volume purpose numbers might've been added and the same is not the everything.
1659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's the $500 for? NFT or Coin! on: October 09, 2022, 09:51:23 PM
Altcoins will be the choice of mine, $500 is quite good for investment. With the bearish market, it can get a good volume of low cap altcoins. When the market gets moved to bullish trend the growth will be experienced over each and every coin. Keeping the upcoming bull market in mind we need to invest. Surely it'll bring good return, and while selecting the altcoins it is good to go with cryptocurrencies available within the top 200 on coinmarketcap.

You've got lucky to have the nice odds on Iga Swiatek, because the game result is 90% confirmed before the start of the match.

Everyone could've had the same thought on the Final between Swiatek and Barbora. The odds were also in favour of Swiatek, all who had a prediction against the low odds could've enjoyed good profit with the win(Barbora 5-7 77-64 6-3 Swiatek).Barbora have reached the World No.2 position during the February month and this month she reached second position on doubles. Anyhow this is a disappointment for most of the gamblers.
