1021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why people are always interested in altcoins on: March 16, 2023, 11:48:12 PM
despite all of the arguments im gonna say it that the main reason many are interested in altcoin because it could quite literally make you rich overnight, what else is there reason more valid than this, just with the prospect of investing short term you could already flip your money and gain thousand percents returns even with small capital which isn't quite possible enough with the other alternatives.
It can make you rich overnight as well as go homeless in the same night. With altcoin investment the ROI is quite high than bitcoin at times. This doesn't work all the time as well as it works with specific altcoins. Here we need to be lucky or esle we should have the mind to keep on adding more and more different altcoins to our portfolio.

Always people want to have a diversified portfolio than holding bitcoin. Same as bitcoin, the top altcoins on the market can be trusted, but things like FTX could happen which is the riskier part.
1022  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pakistan Super League #PSL Discussion Thread on: March 16, 2023, 11:31:01 PM
Peshawer Zalmi are about to win this 2nd playsoff match against Islamabad because Islamabad need 16 runs on two balls which is impossible for Islamabad to chase. What a comeback by Peshawer bowling lineup they crush the strong entire batting lineup of Islamabad, at starting 10 over Islamabad almost score around 100 while just lose one so at that time I taught the Peshawer are about to lose but later they bowling show his potential and finally they win the playsoff and soon will face Lahore Qalanders in third playsoff of this season

Congratulations to Peshawar Zalmi for their impressive win against Islamabad United in the second playoff match. They seem to have done an incredible job with their bowling line up and showed great determination to bounce back from a tough start in the first 10 overs. It is always interesting to see a team come back and win against the odds and Peshawar Zalmi certainly did that in this match. His win will bring immense joy and happiness to his fans and supporters.
It is also great to hear that they will now face Lahore Qalandars in the third playoff of the season. It promises to be an exciting match and I am sure the fans of both the teams will be eagerly waiting for it.
That's really an impressive bowling lineup that helped Peshawar Zalmi win the match. In the last five overs Islamabad United were able to score just 39 runs. The match that looked to be an easy win at some point turned in favour of Peshawar Zalmi. The middle order disappointed the Islamabad United fans. Now the playoff match between Peshawar Zalmi and Lahore Qalandars is really interesting because the team placed at the first position on points table and the fourth position fights to reach the finals.
1023  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanging large amounts of BTC for FIAT on: March 16, 2023, 11:10:48 PM
There is nothing to fear in doing the trade. Binance is a trusted service provider and it have the much easier interface. In particular one can prefer to do the trade and recieve the funds in the respective bank account through the P2P trading feature. For users who doesn't have a verified binance account can look for alternates like our forum currency exchange section where you need to find a person and make the trade with the help of an escrow.
1024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 16, 2023, 08:04:41 AM
LOL.. absolute mayhem at Kirtipur. United Arab Emirates collected 89 runs from the last 5 overs, to finish at 310/6. Asif Khan (former first class player from Pakistan who has represented Lahore Lions in the Champions League) smashed 101 runs from just 42 balls. The inexperienced Nepal bowlers were smashed all around the park by Asif and Vriitya Aravind. And the innings ended in anti-climax, with Sompal Kami picking up the wicket of Vriitya Aravind in the last ball. He missed the century by just 6 runs. Nepal may lose this match and end up in the 4th place within the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2.

Almost all players in UAE squad are from Pakistan and they have played first class cricket in Pakistan. They have the edge with them. Asif Khan hundred will be forth fastest Hundred in ODI and that century has placed UAE right on the top. Nepal need to bat well, 310 is difficult but not impossible to chase. They need to keep this in mind that winning this game will bright there chances of playing world cup.
Nepal at the critical situation. Completely unexpected performance from the last order player. From the beginning there is good contribution from the players. The fastest century from the Pakistani born UAE national team player Asif Khan is phenomenal. In the last 6 overs UAE have scored 102 runs which has turned the match completely. The same UAE team in its previous encounter with Nepal scored just 71 runs while chasing the target of 248 runs. It is a something a must win match for Nepal to have its consecutive winning and reach the third position on the points table.
1025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2022/2023 on: March 15, 2023, 10:32:12 PM
no one cares about this league and cups of arabia, the focus is on soccer in europe, and that's sad but it's the truth, all players dream of playing in europe, being in the european champions league where the best of the best are playing
~~~~
Dude, I believe that you are still stuck in the 20th century. Arabian leagues are some of the most popular in the world now. Saudi Professional League is now watched across the globe and the signing of Ronaldo by Al Nassr has further increased the popularity of the league. And in the next few years, the situation will change further. Saudi Arabian monarchy has big plans related to sports events and they are trying really hard to win the hosting rights for the 2030 FIFA World Cup. And Ronaldo is just the tip of the iceberg. Don't be surprised if you see star players such as Kylian Mbappé and Neymar representing the SPL sides within the next few years.
@sithara007 truly you don't understand football, as of today Arabia league is only of the most talking about in the world. It has advanced beyond what you think. Their tv rights world over are increasing rapidly and players are considering playing their than Europe. I believe in the next transf window it will shock you to see how many big players they will sign into the league. Ronaldo effect had turned Arabia league to world class.
LOL.. you got it wrong. I was saying that the Saudi Professional League is now very popular across the globe. It was Slow death who tried to downplay the Arabian leagues. I still would not go to the extent to say that Saudi Professional League is the most popular football league in the world. But they do rank among the top-10 leagues. And it is not just the presence of Ronaldo. A number of quality overseas players are participating in this league and there are rumors that some of the big names in Europe and South America are considering moving to the SPL.
@Sithara007 while it’s definitely not the number one league, but due to the mere presence of Ronaldo it’s buzzing in the same wavelength as the premier league. Furthermore when more star player’s decide to join in the summer transfer window I feel that it’s popularity might become equal to or even more than the Premier League, and thus I won’t be surprised if many young player’s down the year’s prioritise joining it first over other leagues.
Before u start seeing Saudi Arbia professional league to be in the same height as EPL,  please know that Even when Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar,  iniesta, and so many other world class players were playing in Spanish la liga and German Bundesliga, EPL was still considered the best league.
epl isn't considered the best league because of the number of stars playing in it. Ratings like  goals per game, red cards per game, continental wins per season and other factors are also involved. I don't see Saudi Arabian league reaching EPL in this ratings, not even in the next 10 years.
Presence of Ronaldo have given big hype to the league. Based on the teamform rating Saudi Pro League is placed at the 6th position among the leagues played in Asia and 66th position on the world ranking. As mentioned even after 10 years it is really tough for the league to reach the ratings as EPL. In the upcoming years we can see good number of star players moving into the league, but that doesn't completely change the league.
1026  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: March 15, 2023, 10:20:38 PM
England recently won T20 World Cup and are a good T20 side. Its no doubt great performance by Bangladesh to whitewash the T20 world champion. Bangladesh performance at there home ground is always outstanding, very much evident from this home series.
After this series, Ireland is coming to play T20, ODI and Test in Bangladesh and its great chance for Bangladesh to improve there ranking in all three formats.
England team is very strong in T20 format. Every player in their squad is talented. And the best batsmen in the world are in England's squad. However, England's batsmen's performance against Bangladesh was very disappointing. I don't think England played badly because the pitch was bowling friendly. Because the Bangladeshi batsmen played well on the same pitch. England's performance has deteriorated badly. And I will say that if England can't get back on track before the next ODI match then I don't expect England to do very well in the next ODI World Cup.
England was missing only one key player. And he is Ben Stokes in my opinion. Probably if England had Ben Stokes on the team, the results could have been a little different. I am not saying that the three-zero result was going to be changed. But probably England was going to do a little better. But of course, this type of performance was never expected from England. After all, they are the world champions of the T20 format right now.
But one thing that I have to say is, we cannot compare the results of the T20 format with the ODI format. Because in that ODI format, the result and performance of England were very good.
The performance from Ben Stokes from the tail end have made England win several matches. His absence had really affected the performance of England team. As said the series win couldn't be changed, but England might've avoided the whitewash of the T20 series. The teams to win the toss decided to bowl in every match, but things worked for Bangladesh and England failed. Each format of cricket have got difference. ODI is completely different and it was good that Bangladesh had emerged and improved a lot.
1027  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think Bitcoin will lead the world currency market?? on: March 15, 2023, 10:12:52 PM
It's a recipe for a global world currency lead. Bitcoin is accessible and can be utilized by anyone on an unlimited basis. Bitcoin's economics are far more superior to any other option out there. Bitcoin can also now be considered to be quite mature. After a wave of bank collapses that highlight flaws in the monetary system and validate the original Bitcoin use case (being to escape the banking system) it's almost safe to assume that Bitcoin will reign supreme. It's only a matter of time.
Until the right time comes, the wait continues. The growth of bitcoin have been happening around, but this to be the superior of monetary system takes time. US dollar for now leads the world currency market for some reason and slowly the currency is losing its power. Surely bitcoin have got the ability to be an alternate, but how far this is possible depends completely on the governments. For now governments won't easily accept bitcoin being the supreme currency as it can't be controlled by them. As said bank collapses will show the monetary system flaws and people will consider bitcoin. More the people's involvement automatically things change with time.
1028  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you Think might aid the global adoption of Bitcoin? on: March 15, 2023, 10:06:12 PM
It was also pointed out that Bitcoin adoption in El Salvador failed because it was forced on the people.
I will always say that El Salvador was not prepared for what they adopted as legal tender, and this is against the will of the people to make it worse. This was why protests were all over the place. Making a hugely volatile asset a legal tender is ill-informed in my opinion.
El Salvador isn't well prepared, but the president is strong in his decision. I don't see it a failure, everything will have opposition. The same could've been supported if the market have been on the bullish side soon after the adoption. What they experienced is continued decline and the government continued to accumulate which is good in my view.
I think if the mindset of seeing Bitcoin as a legal tender rather than an investment or a get rich scheme will go a long way to aid the global adoption of Bitcoin.
Making Bitcoin a legal tender carries a high degree of risk for any country. What I can advise is for countries to invest in Bitcoin just like their reserves, and with time, it will surely yield for them. Also, Bitcoin has naturally spelt out how to use and operate it, you pay with it, trade it, invest in it and many others, which I don't believe are harmful in any way if one could fully understand them, it will profit such person.
As said bitcoin investment have got high risk, but the same can be understood in the right way and one can stay on the safer side. Just because it is El Salvador the country haven't encountered big problem, if big countries have involved surely this could've affected the economy as the investment will be higher than what El Salvador have invested.
What do you think could aid the adoption of Bitcoin?
Bitcoin has been helping itself by itself, it has attracted people since it's used for cross-border payments and one could gain from trading and investing it. I believe that more positive results from the current users will naturally convince more people to adopt it. More regulation will also convince people and even make the government that banned or restricted it change their minds.
The growth is happening of its own based on the demand to the supply. In between we've got acceptance and adoption here and there. In the past we were able to see lots of negative news about bitcoin and now things have changed and the slow and steady progress is the right way for better future of bitcoin.
1029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Early bitcoin investment for my baby on: March 15, 2023, 09:45:42 PM
Happy for the mom and baby to be bitcoiners. Not everyone have got the opportunity to be a bitcoiner. There are people who have come to know about bitcoin, but a very few among them turn to be users/investors. The decision is really appreciable and I want OP to continue accumulating more and more to the wallet thats been created for her baby.
Nothing offensive, on seeing this I remember a Bible verse, Mathew 22:14 Jesus tells us that “many are called, but few are chosen.”
Bangladesh secured the series earlier by winning two matches. This time in the third match of the series, Tigers beat England and gave Banglawash. This is the first time that Bangladesh has made such a history against England in any format of cricket. England stumbled at the start of batting against the target of 159 runs given by Bangladesh. The English scored 142 runs after losing 6 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs. The hosts were defeated by Bangladesh by 16 runs. My best wishes and congratulations to the Bangladesh Cricket Team for this win today.
Never expected this from England and Bangladesh whitewash really, what went wrong with England why such bad performance.  Either Bangladesh pitch is not suitable for then or they were under some spell of overconfidence.
Bangladesh well done and congratulations 🎊
Already England have lost the series, so there is no pressure. England and Bangladesh haven't played in a T20 series earlier. This is the encounter between the two teams for the first time other than the match in the T20 World Cup. Big win for Bangladesh, and the whitewash is completely unexpected. This shows that Bangladesh have improved much and England need to make changes to its plan and execution.
1031  Economy / Economics / Re: Americans go to Mexico for medicals to cut costs. on: March 13, 2023, 10:31:06 PM
Each and every country have more economic issues, but very few countries expose is to the outer world. When it comes to America, we can see more number of people suffering and unable to pay medical insurance. In such a situation people moving to Mexico for medical needs is not at all a big thing. Even my country hospitals have got separate section for Foreigners, mostly people from Island nations like Maldives reach my country.
1032  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will accepting cryptocurrency as a payment be profitable for business? on: March 13, 2023, 10:23:21 PM
Accepting bitcoin as payment is always profitable, but for the same business owners should have the patience. There are businesses that started accepting bitcoin and stopped the acceptance within short period. This happened as a result of not receiving the expected business. Based on my understanding, right now the situation is like we sow the seed now and need to wait long to enjoy the taste of the fruit.
1033  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 13, 2023, 10:13:17 PM
Williamson and Mitchell screwed Lankan hope which was small to begin with and India secured a spot in the WTC 2023 final as expected. I won decent amounts thanks to these recent tests and I am excited for the final.
Thanks to Shane Williamson Kiwis won the almost losing test match.
Lol. This cracked me up. It's Kane Williamson(Not Shane Williamson).
Sri Lanka was with high hope on winning the match. Even after the first innings performance the winning probability of New Zealand was found high. I felt this to be surprising and finally the same came true. The match going till the last ball is the interesting thing. As stated Williamson stole the show with the last over performance.
1034  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ODI cricket and general cricketing discussion [self - mod] on: March 13, 2023, 10:07:57 PM
Nepal absolutely destroyed Papua New Guinea. First of all, only 95 were collected by Papua New Guinea in the first innings. And it took them 32 overs to get that. Nepal goes to the target in only less than 8 overs. Sandeep Lamichanne performed really well in this match. He got five wickets. He basically destroyed the backbone of the Papua New Guinea's batting order. This is going to be a big confidence booster for Nepal. I hope they will be able to continue performing well like this.
Nepal is now unbeaten in the last 5 matches, and if they win last ODI, they will finish 3rd in this tournament. I don't know what benefit top teams of this tournament will get but it's good to see Nepal coming  up. Teams like UAE and Oman are made up of players from South Asia while Nepal team is 100% made of native players. All eyes now on last game of Nepal with UAE.
This is part of the qualifier for the upcoming World Cup. Nepal reaching the third position on the points table will make way to qualify for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers. Also this keeps the ODI status of Nepal. Big experience for Nepal to win consecutive matches and enter the qualifier.
1035  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Street Gambling Risk on: March 13, 2023, 09:46:54 PM
Street gambling is certainly very risky and most of those who do it as a business are scammers. They are old versions of casino sites prepared with unfair scripts on fake websites. Fortunately, such a habit is almost nonexistent in my country. However, about 7-8 years ago, I encountered one of them. Then I reported them to the police station near my house. We should not tolerate people who defraud others with fraudulent games.
Not all countries are prepared to take necessary measures. Just because you reported the site might've been stopped. However it is really hard thing to find the person or group functioning behind and to stop them from creating more and more similar websites. Street gambling and what we see as online gambling fraud is completely different.
Big win for Bangladesh and finally wins the series. Big disappointment for England, and the credit goes to Shanto who kept the scoring at its best and made it a winning match. Mehedy Hasan did the best in bowling taking 4 wickets. With the win, third match have turned very interesting as England is at pressure to win a match to avoid the whitewash.
The match between the World Giants team and the India Maharajas team is in progress. Chris Gayle went early but then Finch and Shane Watson are playing superbly well and the world team has scored 82 for one in 7 overs. In the first match also India Maharajas were lost to Asia Lions and I expect the same result today.
India Maharajas actually played well. But they needed a few more meaningful partnerships. And in the end, it was not good enough finishing power from Indian Maharajas. The lower middle order could not basically do anything. The wickets also fell on our regular interval. That's what was the best thing for Asia Lions.
The Indians fans would want the Maharajas team to play well in the Legends League and give some interesting competition. Smiley
Till now they have been disappointed with their performance although some big names are in their team.
In yesterday's match India Maharajas lost to Asia Lions. Today the team is playing against World Giants. Watching the game of players like Brett Lee, Gayle, Kallis, Watson and all were really nice. Same as the olden days Brett Lee have come to bowl the last over where 8 runs required from 6 balls. Once again India Maharajas have lost the match by 2 runs.
Gujarat Giants vs Delhi Capitals Women, 9th Match
Gujarat Giants did not have a good start in this tournament. They were overwhelmed in the first match and today in the 9th match Gujarat Giants also lost the same way against Delhi Capitals. Gujarat Giants set a target of just 105 runs to Delhi Capitals and Delhi Capitals finished the game with just 7 over 1 ball without losing any wicket. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Gujarat Giants are both weak teams in this tournament although Gujarat Giants is holding the fourth position by wining one match while Royal Challengers Bangalore didn't get any win.
Gujarat in its first match played worse scoring just 64 runs chasing target of 207 runs. Against Royal Challengers scored 201 runs and won the match. This time once again scoring just 105 runs isn't enough to win in a T20 match. Gujarat Giants have got good players, Dunkley, Deol, Meghana, Gardner but something lacks in the team and the same makes them loss matches.
1040  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: March 11, 2023, 02:16:36 AM
If Australia could score 480 runs which includes two players scoring centuries in this track, do you really think that Indian batsman will find it difficult to score runs. I am expecting a few centuries from the Indian batsman as well as none of the batsmen were able to score big runs and this might be the pitch finally for everyone to score runs and save face and the match would probably end up in a draw.
Today's play is very crucial for the outcome of this match. IMO, the only way there can be an outcome is if India follows on. And they still need another 245 runs to avoid the follow on. Given the batting friendly conditions, chances are that India will also pile up a score in excess of 400 and the match ends in a draw. But if Nathan Lyon or Todd Murphy can get 2-3 quick wickets in the first session, then Indian batsmen will be under a lot of pressure and Australians may sense an opportunity to win this match. Half of the Indian batsmen are not in good form anyway.
The quick wickets will be the deciding factor. The ground is batting friendly which need to used by the batsmen. Indian batsmen were out of form, yet someone to score good too can give hands. Nathan Lyon with his previous match form would try to pick wickets than restricting to score.
At the drinks break, Sri Lanka vs New Zealand match have reached an unexpected situation. Sri Lanka scored 355 runs in the first innings. New Zealand losing its 6th wicket at 188 have ended the innings at 373 runs with lead of 18 runs. The match result is still underway.
