1241  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: investment in bitcoin should be short term or long term. on: January 23, 2023, 10:15:02 PM
i am a newbie in bitcoin, and i plan to buy bitcoin,, and will invest in bitcoin, and i want to ask everyone? if investing in bitcoin is it better short term or long term??? but in my opinion, long-term investment is better, but what do you think?

You should buy Bitcoin and hold it for dear life as it is supposed to skyrocket sooner or later. Due to Bitcoin fundamentals, the option will always be to hodl. In case you want to speculate then yes, you should hold ot short term.
Every investment is subject to risk ans bitcoin is no exception to it. In this regard studying the market is a must to take decision. Investment should be long term if the plan is to hold ans short term plans should be for the purpose of trading. No one have ended with loss out of the long term holding. Short term profiting have risk, but the profit will be high in very less time than any other form of investment.
1242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Basra Stadium Stampede (football match). on: January 23, 2023, 10:08:30 PM
And my position here is, who's to be blamed in such situation just like this one at Basra stadium, Iraq. Is the fault from the side of the football fans or is due to poor organisation from the side of the organisers?
i read that the stampede started when ticket collectors turned back fans who had been sold fake tickets by some scammers, if it's true i would say it's the fans fault, if you're ticket is fake you can't come in, and organisers can't prevent anything when a whole crowd decides to go nuts and break the rules.

If there is enough security, I do not think ticketless fans will overpower the security.  Besides the main job of security is to control the masses inside and outside the vicinity so having a group of aggressive people to overrun the situation means the security isn't capable.  Also, the organizer failed to size up the possible number of crowd  while the security fail to identify the process of the situation not getting under their control.
There might be lack of security as well as corruption as fake tickets were into circulation. After a long this is a bad incident, also people can't be controlled beyond limits when there is no proper planning. The security system will be at the ratio of 2:50 which isn't enough to handle pressure situation.
1243  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cheat the Lottery Winner on: January 23, 2023, 10:03:43 PM
He should've made some other plans to stay anonymous and receive the winning. This is an example, not to trust anyone in money related activities. It is common thing that people fear about winning. Recently in my country a winner stood away from his home as people keeps coming home requesting for help. At some point he went almost to a depressed state as he wasn't able to enjoy the win.
1244  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: January 23, 2023, 09:58:13 PM

Those who are true cricket lovers must give importance to Test cricket. But the big hurdle here is time. To enjoy a Test match you have to put your work aside. Besides, this cricket has become more difficult due to the fact that it lasts for a few days. Since time is a major constraint, it is clear to everyone that the outlook for this cricket is not good. Besides, there is no interest in this cricket anywhere except a few countries.
Agreed, cricket lovers prioritize test format cricket in which it is possible to see the real game of the players. With most of cricket fans, the time is a big problem. For the same reason other format of cricket have taken the place. However with the involvement of few teams into test cricket it is possible to watch some good cricket. We don't know how long this continues, because today we were able to see three T20 league taking place simultaneously. BPL, BBL ans SA20.
1245  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are we now on Crypto bull run? on: January 23, 2023, 09:25:04 PM
do kwon & sam bankman fried chope the market in 2022 Roll Eyes
Kwon did not chop the market in 2022 because while Luna started crashing until it got to $0.91 Cents the general crypto market was already having a major crash. But  Sam Bankman Fried did chop the market. Bitcoin alone fell by more than 12% hitting a low that was last experienced in November 2020 after FTX collapsed. Kwon Luna responded to the market trend while Sam FTX affected the market.
Through some means the market movement is disturbed and the same is connected with the incidents that took place by that time. As mentioned, if the luna crash haven't happened we would've been sitting at the same position. Just on the collapse of FTX, the market suffered a downturn. Even if that hasn't happened we will be experiencing similar scenario.
1246  Economy / Economics / Re: Can I take a loan to invest in bitcoin? on: January 23, 2023, 09:20:56 PM
Taking loan to invest into cryptocurrency is high risk, but it is good when you have the same loan amount for investment with you to handle the situation if the market weren't the same as predicted. When we take a loan we never think of the repayment, interest, handling charges and other miscellaneous charges. If we consider all these, then surely we won't go for loan.
1247  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 23, 2023, 09:16:54 PM
Selling bitcoin is upto the users. Different users have different calculations as well as different market prediction. The expectation and the reality won't make a coincidence with majority of the users. Good is to make use of every opportunity to make little profit out of the fluctuations unlike the market trend. If your good enough and satisfied with the price at which its been bought and the present selling price, then it is good to sell.
1248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Blockchain a Good Career? on: January 23, 2023, 09:10:47 PM
Yes, blockchain is a good career. However, you must know that there are many types of blockchain developers. It includes an architecture blockchain developer, a database blockchain developer, and API design. The deeper you get into the core of blockchain, the higher your salary. I guess that whatever area of specialization you pick in blockchain development, just be the best at it. And you'll have people lining up to pay you top dollar.
Being a blockchain developer require knowledge from the basic to the core. Here it is mentioned about the difference and one who is able to address everything mentioned will master the market. Just going through the job portal and searching for blockchain developers itself will give a clear information on the demand for blockchain developers. People who have got programming skills can easily make themselves a blockchain developer.
1249  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's a good idea to just register on casino on: January 22, 2023, 10:26:27 PM
In the past casinos used to provide sign up bonus that can be used to check the platforms functionality. This means, the small amount provided attracts the user to deposit more ans have fun. Slowly this got diminished as people started to just check the functionality and give reviews withdraw it. Now everything is streamlined and just registering not gonna benefit. What you wager gives you with the best.

Apart from this platforms have begun to conduct events in which we doesn't want to make bets, but keep on predicting the outcome. Users to predict the right outcome used to get the rewards which can be withdrawn instantly.
1250  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: T20 and T20I cricket prediction and discussion on: January 22, 2023, 10:21:24 PM
Apart from the India men cricket team, the women's team is also making great strides in the game of cricket.  India Women's Team vs Sri Lanka Women's Team in ICC Women's T20 Match Today.  Sri Lanka Women's team scored only 59 runs in 20 overs and India Women's team scored 60 runs in just 7.1 overs to defeat Sri Lanka. Indeed, India is the king of cricket whether it is the men team or the women's team
Indian women cricketers have very few opportunities compared to the male cricketers. However, the Indian Cricket Board has taken various steps to create opportunities for women. Indian women cricketers are also quite ahead in their cricket. In today's India Women U19 vs Sri Lanka U19 Women match, Sri Lanka Women were completely defeated by the Indians due very low score. Sri Lanka Women managed to score only 59 runs after playing 20 overs. On the other hand, India Women managed to reach the set target in just 7.2 overs.
It was a wonderful performance from the young Indian women U19 team. Sri Lanka absolutely fail to perform against India's women. In this match they lost with U-19 Indian women and This is almost how the Sri Lankan women's team lost to the Indian women's team in an October 2022 match. On that match Srilankan women took only 65/9 and Indian girls were successfully take 71/2 in only 8.3 bowl.
As a team, India's women's under-19 team and the national team, on both sides, are ahead of Sri Lanka and have proved the same in performance.

At the end of the day, the Indian women's under 19 team defeated the Sri Lankan women's under 19 team quite easily. There was no doubt that the Indian under 19 women's team won this game in a very comfortable manner. A score of 60 runs was the only target that Sri Lanka was able to give. It was interesting to note that Sri Lanka took the entire 20 overs in order to score 59 runs.

On the other hand, a total of 60 runs were scored by India in only 7.2 overs and they went on to win the match by seven wickets as well. I think the future of Indian women's cricket is actually very optimistic. They are already showing positive signs.

That's a big win and a much needed one for India women team to reach the semi finals. I'm not sure whether India made it's way to the semifinals after the win as it was dependent upon South Africa match against UAE for the increase in the chances to reach the semi finals. Indian Women's team is really good and one more thing more leagues getting started for women's cricket in India will make them better players for the main feam.
1251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I turned over $1.344M with Sportsbet.com - https://imgur.com/a/gFB14gl on: January 22, 2023, 10:14:32 PM
If the story is actually true, then that's a fantastic result for the player. Still, I think this is purely about advertising he wants to make for the sportsbet site.
Why would someone post how much money they won on a gambling site? If I had won that much, I would prefer to keep it to myself. I certainly wouldn't want other people to find out that I would have won that much money. You can only risk it that way. Well, maybe people think differently. 1.4 million is a lot of money, by the way. Will gambling sites actually pay that to players?

I think you are confused.

The picture is from MY betting account.

I posted it to show you how greedy and pathetic these gambling companies are.

I turned over close to $1M in a single month and these vultures refuse to give me a bonus.

Woah, congrats! But did you able to withdraw all of it? There's a thread in this forum that I read last time I don't if I remembered it correctly but the casino refuses to give him the amount that he won because it is too big, that's a quite good also you are a really good gambler I think they should give you bonus as well, you might be an ambassador if they want since you are an active gambler and very good one you can get other gamblers by showing your betting account and bonus if you want them to be referred but then they don't give you, what if you ask their csr? Do they really not give bonuses?
Nowhere he mentioned about any issues with the withdrawal of the winning amount. The gambler have got the luck and for the same the platform haven't provided him with bonus is really bad. Because, his friends have received it and he wasn't given the bonus. Anyhow this is a big win and it is good to be happy with the winning. Requesting for the bonus need to be done and I'm sure the platforms will have specific terms in this regard if not surely he could've been provided with the bonus.
1252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: January 22, 2023, 10:11:01 PM

Oh, I did not know that Fifa Ban Indian football too. They also banned our country, not for security reasons but because they believe that our offices were controlled by third-party. Later on in 2022, this ban was lifted and we had a sign of relief.
More details:- FIFA lifts suspension of Pakistan Football Federation

By the way, when we see the progress of our neighboring countries like Saudia Arab, Qatar, Japan, Korea, Iran, etc, we see that both Pakistan and India are left behind in this race of become a strong football nation.

FIFA has lifted ban on Indian football federation last year and India fifa ranking is 106 which is far better then Pakistan. As Pakistan is standing at very last position of Fifa ranking i.e. 195th position. Still India is far away from qualifying for FIFA worldcup despite the fact that they have good leagues going on in the country. India may qualify for 2034 WC if they keep moving with current pace.
As the number of teams into FIFA had been increased, countries like India can have their entry. However to reach through the qualifiers is really hard for a country like India. If Indian people have supported long back itself India might've emerged good, but India is much into cricket and recently people have begun to watch football a encourage their children playing football.
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Advice on choosing a crypto casino on: January 22, 2023, 10:06:00 PM
First of all if you are looking for some legit casinos then you will find lot of them on the forum but if you are looking for detailed review then I would advise you to go through BTCGOSU site as they give good reviews so you can choose the casino according to your preference.Like if you are interested in no KYC casino then you will find them and if you are compatible with it then there are that one also with lot of exciting games and slots. So check it and you will find list on forum as well.
BTCGOSU is one of the review websites recommended by many members because it can provide ratings that can be considered for people who want or are still looking for the right casino. There are several other review websites in this forum. On average, they can also provide an honest review of one casino. All of the rating websites always give notifications when they have finished making a review of a new website.
While checking with the review sites, it is good to go with the best one. As suggested BTCGOSU is much recommended, because in most of the gambling review platforms we were able to see the list of cryptocurrency gambling platforms that are never been heard earlier.
1254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This Smells Like Hypocrisy on: January 22, 2023, 10:03:15 PM
Quote
Gambling in Japan is not black and white. In fact, gambling is considered a criminal offence and is generally banned across the country.

Those that are found gambling can face large fines and even serve jail time.

However, there are exceptions to this rule. Betting on horse racing and the lottery are two forms of gambling that are accepted in Japan.

To me, this seems hypocritical. You claim that gambling is illegal, but you may bet on horse racing, Pachinko, bicycle racing, boat racing, and Mahjong, which baffles me. I do not seem to understand. Why is that so? You claim it is unlawful, yet wagering on games that are overseen by the government is not unlawful. Is this not hypocritical? What does the government fear?

https://gamblingnewsmagazine.com/gambling-in-japan/
I don't know why but many people like to gamble in Asia, it seems to be part of their culture, maybe because religions are not the same as the in rest of the world which is mostly christian and muslim and of their natural personality. But unfortunately gambling can lead to disaster for families.
That's true. Asian countries have got the big number of religions with different practices and cultures followed. Every religion have got different practice, tradition, worshipping methods and it goes on. In that aspect games played during the gatherings have later turned to be the gambling games connected to religion and culture.
1255  Economy / Speculation / Re: I think Bottom is gone on: January 22, 2023, 09:59:26 PM
I also think so, it can be seen that the price of bitcoin can reach $ 20k at the beginning of the year and of course this makes the market more positive,
the bad news about crypto currency has also disappeared, it's just that investors are still afraid since the altcoin collapse case last year,
and hopefully this year there will be no more collapsing altcoins like FTX, CEL or LUNA.
Bitcoin market is subject to speculation. With what is happening around the market, experts and common people have their own predictions. This is common with the crypto market. How this survives out of such scenario is the strength of the innovation. Maybe the bottom is no more down to $20k, but the same isn't assured.

The news associated with the FTX, Luna and other issues haven't disappeared. The whales have failed in manipulating with those incidents. Surely they'll try it when correct situation arise.
1256  Economy / Economics / Re: After Budgeting, How Do I Deal With Unexcepted Expenses? on: January 22, 2023, 09:55:01 PM
Budgeting is to allocate funds for every needs. It is a must to add miscellaneous expenses. This amount can be used for unexpected needs. Another thing at times we can't meet the unexpected needs with the miscellaneous expenses allocated funds. Here we need to be very careful to stay within the limits.

Even after budgeting we should not have the mind to spend the allocated fund to fulfill the specific needs. We need to limit from that spending, and the amount saved could help in meeting unexpected needs. I don't know whether this is possible in real-time.
1257  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: First thing i will do if Bitcoin become legal tender globally on: January 22, 2023, 09:49:54 PM
Probably would be easier to receive money from around the world delivering services through the web.

I mean, of course you can do that today with Bitcoin and credit cards, but with credit cards they take a big chunk, and not many in the world are using Bitcoin.

But if the entire world is using Bitcoin?, yeah, that would make it better to get money for services around the world. At least 3% or so better as there won't be any chargeback and commissions to banks.
Big money gets saved and will be in the pocket of common man. Banks make good money through the transactions support and they have control over the users money.

Once everything gets legal I'll have a banking system to support the people who find it hard to invest and buy cryptocurrencies. Simply this will serve as the bitcoin bank, however it is not good. But I prefer doing it to help people who are not good with technology.
1258  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I managed to invite 1 of my friends to invest in bitcoin on: January 22, 2023, 09:45:33 PM
I don't know how far this incident have happened, but if this had happened then this is really good. Though he doesn't have much of knowledge about cryptocurrency he have did the best of his ability and explained it. When it comes to cryptocurrency the spreading have happened through word of mouth.

If you go through the past days of cryptocurrency it is quite hard to find advertisements used to promote or spread about to the world about cryptocurrency. Now only private ventures for their revenue making have begun to promote through advertising.
1259  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC rise described as false bull on: January 22, 2023, 05:51:35 PM
There will be statements that were in favour as well as against the reality of the market. It is upto our understanding about the market, if we take it as bullish move we're positive about market. If the same is considered as a temporary move, then we should analyse further and one should not get into panic at any instance.

Whether the crypto is at the decline or on the bullish, we'll get opportunity to profit from the market variation. One need to keep himself active to book the profit. This let's the user enjoy criticism
1260  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is it possible to invest in bitcoin to build a country whose economy is down? on: January 21, 2023, 11:58:30 PM
A country's growth and development depends much on different factors. It is an impossible statement to make these kind of growth relying over bitcoin. If the country have got good set of users then this is possible to make some noise as crypto is decentralised which gives real growth.
