1641  Economy / Economics / Re: How many can resist selling off their BTC for huge profits? on: September 11, 2017, 04:49:55 PM
What percent of people do you think are able to resist selling their BTC when confronted with huge profits they've obtained.  Say 500% or more even?
500% on bitcoins profits then I assume you are one of those people who bought bitcoin on the range of 800-900 usd price wayback before. If im on that state it would really hard to resist to sell your coins because you did see the profits you do gain. This would really depend on your self control and motives on hodling bitcoin.Either if you would decide to hold even more for more profits or secure as of now on the money you gained.
1642  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 50% of ICO's are fake, how much this trend is going to affect genuine ICO's??? on: September 11, 2017, 04:12:20 PM
Since last one year nearly 50% of ICO's became fake, how much this false trend is going to affect genuine projects/ICO's?  Huh
Get used to it because it do really works that way as of now and its a common situation do happening as of now.Talking on the percentage i do strongly believe that 50% is just too small maybe 75-80% of them are trash which they do pop out from nowhere and launching an ICO.If they do collect enough funds most of them do forget regarding on their roadmap later on and just letting those coins playing on exchanges without minding the true project that they propose to public.
1643  Economy / Speculation / Re: about real value of bitcoin ? on: September 11, 2017, 02:07:03 PM
is this is 4000$ rang or more

what you think?
We don't know on how much did bitcoin can hit, but I know that bitcoin can also hit $5000, because bitcoin actually hit it the last week, and I guess it will going to happen again, it is not impossible to happen again, bitcoin I think has a bright future.
Bitcoins price didnt actually hit that $5000 price range but it do somehow managed to reach out 4967 as far as i remember which its new ATH and I do believe that we would hit up that price soon and even breaking that 5k usd resistance level.I agree on what you have said we wont really know on how much could bitcoin price would rise up in the future or whats ahead because no man can predict the future. For now the best thing to do is dont miss the opportunity on buying cheaper bitcoins.
1644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Now ETH is going down to the dip. You SOLD or HOLD? on: September 10, 2017, 07:33:27 PM
Now ETH is going down to the dip. You SOLD or HOLD?

I missed the time to sell ETH.

I lost more than 10K USD. HOLD or SOLD with loss, I kept 250 ETH with highest price.
If you do lost 10k usd then better hold all of your ETH as of now and do wait for the price to recover up soon.Instead of panicking better to be alert on buying more ETH later on when you do see the possible lowest prices of it later on.Always seek our for its dip price before tending to buy more cheaper eth coins.Wise moves will really pay you out.
1645  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: forex trading vs cripto trading on: September 10, 2017, 06:55:06 PM

Which is the  best  for  day trading in your  opinion in terms  of reliability and profit?  In terms  of  profit  maybe  the  cripto, but in terms of  reliability Forex.  Cripto is   like gambling I suppose, you have to check the trollbox, the news and  hope  to jump into the train  fast  enough to not  be burnt.

If you do base on trollbox on an exchange then most likely you would end up on losing your money for sure because the things mostly you can read on that place are just pure shills by those coin owner and if you did jump to that coin for sure it would really be like gambling at all because you didnt even sure if the coins has potential. Comparing crypto and forex is really different.
1646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China is Laughing on: September 10, 2017, 06:26:24 PM
China is laughing all day for the past few days because the whole world is under its control and influence. The recent news and rumors of new are all testifying to the fact of how powerful can China be in almost aspects of global play...not just in cryptocurrency really.

Why it came to this sad state? Well, China knows how to plan and it has a long-range goals and one thing is for sure Bitcoin and cryptocurrency may not be included in that global domination vision.

Right now, China can show a tantrum and the whole world can shake. Can you feel now the power of China all over your body (hell, am even using a body wash Made in China!)?
China would really give an impact into everything knowing that they do really have the power or influence on anything since they do have the funds specially on this kind of field. Im not totally shaken of but accepting the fact that they do really have the power on most thing exist on this world and as you said maybe they are just laughing now to see how cryptoworld did react on such movement made by china.
1647  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: ETH - will it go lower on: September 10, 2017, 04:19:51 PM
It's currently $286 on coinmarketcap. I need to buy some ETH to participate in an ICO soon. Is now a good time to buy or do you think it will go down more in the next few days?

I wouldn't be holding any Ethereum right now to be honest. There's too much unstability with the fundamentals. The hardfork is coming soon from what i've read, which could result in a big mess of 4 Ethereums, one of these may pump but in the long term it's not looking good to be honest.

Also the ICO ban stuff makes it not a good idea to hold the thing. Any gov can crash it even worse than BTC if they talk about ICOs in a bad way.
This is what i do see on ETH situation as of now and if i were you if you dont have still eth better to wait on the right opportunity to buy cheaper coins because there are lots of possible happenings on ETH ecosystem as of now and most of them are on negative side which we can really presume that price would still go lower and lower later on.Sad for those who bought on peak prices but we cant do anything about it.
1648  Economy / Economics / Re: Moment for buying or selling? on: September 07, 2017, 03:00:12 PM
I was thinking, because of Bitcoin price skyrocketed, would it be wise to buy bitcoin now? I have some bitcoin in wallet, but nothing much, and i was thinking to buy some bitcoin more. But because of price rising in last few days i am not sure what to do, because if i buy now, maybe price will go down and ill lose profit, or maybe it will go up and i did not buy so ill lose profit too. What are your thinking on matter and what do you think how much will price of bitcoin rise this year?

It's always up to you because you decide whether to buy or sell Bitcoin and accept the fact that it may result in profits or losses for you.

The Bitcoin price movement up or down will become vivid only in November as there is the news suggesting that some part of bitcoin's transaction data will be moved outside the block of the bitcoin transactions added to blockchain database.
It would really depends on us on when to buy or sell and will really depend on our skills and knowledge. No one would able to tip us but only ourselves. The best part on here is that we should always buy on dips but determining those spots are really hard which would depend on our experience back in the past on our continous trading. On upcoming november i would say another dip would really happen just like what happen on august 1 event too.
1649  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NEO has rebounded above it's "pre crash" price on: September 07, 2017, 01:46:11 PM
The 1st September showed how vulnerable Chinese crypto projects are. What would happen if the Chinese government would extend the ban and start banning particular coins?
Crypto currencies in common are an unpredictable investment. But Chinese coins have a lot bigger risk in my opinion. Of course the chance of profits is bigger, when the government stop to ban more crypto assets. But the more successful crypto currencies will be the more bans will China inflict.
Im assuming the same thing too on which if they would see more successful ICO then possibilities that banning would still not be stopped for sure.If you can able to ride wisely on Chinese crypto coins then for sure money making would really be easy but talking on its price. Its unpredictable we wont know if this rebound is just a pullback on a certain downtrend or just already the pure reversal on its price.
1650  Economy / Speculation / Re: 1 satoshi = 1 US cent? In next 5 years? on: September 07, 2017, 01:16:49 PM
Hi,

Do you believe that the price of bitcoin could rise so much to become 1 satoshi = 1 US cent?
Some folks are saying BTC will reach 25$K in 2 years and Half a million in 5.

Wake up and be realistic as much as you can. Bitcoin can't be $500k and 1 satoshi will never be equal to 1 dollar cent. Within 5 years, we can see bitcoin as $50k at most if we don't be affected by governments and countries.
I would like to say the same thing too on which we should really be realistic on the things we do see regarding on bitcoins price and as speak those amounts really high enough even on how many years to pass for sure we wont still able to reach out that range even if the whole  world would able to adopt bitcoin. Its not really sufficient even if all bitcoins have been mined already.Value wont really not reach up that high.
1651  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum early warning on: September 07, 2017, 12:30:01 PM
The dump is actually normal and same goes with the other cryptocurrencies, so its basically temporary. I would suggest you to hold on to your Ethereum as of now and wait until this FUD passes.
such a rubbish. the price has reached to their normal price and price is getting higher and higher day by day. i don't think any thing like this will happen to ethereum and i think if this happen this will be the biggest oppurtunity for the investors to fill their pockets but i hope it will not and it will goes higher and higher like bitcoin,

No one really knows on whats ahead on which we would really able to make speculations on the things that we are seeing now on a certain coin.Going back in the past when ETH has just started to pop out in the market i am already interested on its Smart contract feature which i can see that this would really be a big usage specially on real world. No matter how many issues it would faced im sure it cant really affect on where it should go.
1652  Other / Off-topic / Re: Job Vs Bitcoin on: September 06, 2017, 06:02:09 PM
Hi, I was wondering if I should quit my job and focus more on bitcoins? Because I think it might get me even richer without a job?  Grin

I don't think quitting your job is a good thing. We never know if bitcoin will stay in the long long term.
If we see in terms of users can be said bitcoin will not die, but apart from that we too must have a job, because we do not know what kind of situation will happen in our life, we may need a lot of fund in critical condition, and if Such work can help generate more money

Until the bitcoin dies you can earn a lot of coins and become a millionaire.
If you decide to deal with crypto currency, the work in the office will only stop you and take time. You can leave the office for a year - earn a crypto currency and then go back to the official job.
But I doubt that you will want to go back there))
it is true, most people do not want to go back to the real work that they do, once people are able to understand the income from their crypto currency it would be better to explore this in terms of returning to the real work they did before
Indeed, the salary and benefit I earned from Bitcoin make me do not want comeback to old job. Just trading, it can helps me earn profit = salary one year my old job, do you think I still keep my patience for work old job outside? Cool
well, everyone has different principles, and that will make us have a different path. I myself want to get out of my job because of the huge income from bitcoin. but, my job provides benefits to my family, so I do both.
We do really have different principles in life and we do have different choices regarding on anything.Same as yours im doing both things since there are things on which one side dont have it.Speaking on earning opportunities then bitcoin would potentially give greater income into you but knowing its not permanent and could anytime be gone unlike on having a day stable job.
1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is an altcoin?? on: September 06, 2017, 03:40:26 PM
Even if they do not accurately understand how it works, most people are at least somewhat familiar with Bitcoin. However, once they begin to get involved with cryptocurrency, they may be surprised to learn that there are actually hundreds of types of cryptocurrencies known as altcoins. Altcoins are an intriguing facet of the cryptocurrency landscape, but they are not for everyone. Altcoin newcomers often have many questions, and this guide will provide a brief overview of altcoins to help beginners decide whether or not to invest in them as part of their cryptocurrency portfolio.
The thing you said here is just a definition on those terms we do encounter here on cryptoworld.Even myself when i was still a newbie, i do thought that Bitcoin is the only who do exist on this field and later on when i do gain knowledge i did already faced or known lots of coins which somehow confuse you when you are not having any idea of it.This is why i do make self study and later on i got used to it and already engaging on it.From the word altcoin, alt means alternative and all coins being created besides bitcoin is considered as alt.
1654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an agreed currency code for Bitcoin? on: September 06, 2017, 02:00:04 PM
The most popular abbreviation we see is BTC but yes sometimes you can see the notation XBT. This is the recognized financial name for Bitcoin. it is in accordance with the standards in the markets. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217)
BT stands for Bitcoin, and the X means that this currency is not related to any nation or any country. On the same principle, you can find XAU for Gold,  XAG for Silver, XPT for Platinum and so on.

This explains all and theres nothing to argue regarding on this topic on what currency code should be used. XBT or BTC they are just both the same, they do really differ on some exchanges because they do use another term which if a certain trader isnt familiar with XBT then for sure he would got confused for the very first time. I dont care about those standards since i do really love to see the BTC code.
1655  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Scammed in a bounty campaign on: September 06, 2017, 01:12:31 PM
Hi! I just want to ask if anyone here been scammed in bounty campaigns? Some who joined the bounty campaign, did abide with the rules and did all the necessary tasks to do to qualify then at the end no payment recieved in their wallet? If so what did you do and if in case it happens what should be done?

The first thing you could only do for that is to contact the manager and ask the reason why you didn't receive your payment for that particular campaigns but if his answer is not good then you should post a scam accusation and seek for the help of DT members so that they will be force to give what they owe to you. But make sure that you didn't violate some rules of the campaign where you participated since you will be the one who will feel bad if you didn't tell the truth on why you didn't receive the bounty payments.
Correct, approach first the bounty manager on what happened into the project or into the payments why you are not being credited. If you do saw that all of the participants do have the same problem on payouts then most likely the Project is already a scam and being said posting scam accusation on the said project is the only thing you can do for now so that they would be get tagged by DT.
1656  Economy / Economics / Re: get the same opportunity on: September 06, 2017, 11:50:35 AM
It is best to keep the spirit to collect bitcoin purse by purse because it will help us in the future and even we just have at least a few decimal of bitcoin and if we just keep or save it on a safe place then there will be a time that we are able to reach at least 1 bitcoin and that is the best time to sell it for fiat money or just continue collecting more and holding.
This is what im actually doing since i do start on this bitcoin world and did earn some small satoshis back in the past and now im earning decent on many ways. There are really times that the energy you do feel when you are still a newbie compared on the feeling of becoming a senior or have already experienced would really be gone and boredom would really be there and i cant really deny such thing but the thing that pushes me is that i do really strive to earn even more and might becoming rich someday.
1657  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to know about next pump? on: September 05, 2017, 05:15:44 PM
Predicting pumped coins is very difficult, because everything depends on the market situation and individuals who want to buy coins.
But my advice, try to follow the development of coins in thread Ann and social media

Following the development of coins in ANN Thread can be very helpful and I also do this sometimes fundamental analysis is very effective if you do not know how to read charts like me.
many ways to see how the coins in the pump, one of them by following the latest update in ann thread of the coin. and I think it's the easiest thing to do to see the price of coins in the pump.

Ya and follow many pump group have many member on telegram, facebook. Maybe it's a fake pump but if you buy first sell first you still win
How would you know that you did bought on the right price? How sure you are that you didnt able to buy on the peak price? This is why listening to those pump and dump groups is really very risky this is why i dont rely too much on them and i would rather to trade up on strong foundation coins not to those new and obviously pump and dump purpose coins.

1659  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What to do when prices are falling on: September 05, 2017, 04:06:35 PM
Hello. I have a folio of BTC, ETH, NEO and some alts. I've been watching at Bitcoin since 2015 but bought only at this summer (and the last move was quite bad, I bought some BTC for $4600). I try to study, watch vids, read forum and twitters. Chris Dunn has a vid on the topic but nothing really specific. I'm interested in some ideas about what to do when prices are falling.  Sell alts and hold bitcoin? Short? (and if yes, so the next question is how to learn how to short?).
In the First place when the price is falling you don't need to be panic, stand still, calm and Relax especially if you holding a Bitcoin and Eth both of them you must hold it in a long term. Both are has a brighter future. Just hold it until next year's come for sure their value will going to have a big difference for sure.
If you have weak hands then for sure you would suffer consequences on losing money. In these kind of price decrease moments we should not easily panic and sell off our coins just to cut loss seeing you are holding two Strong cryptos which is Bitcoin and ETH then holding them would really be worth it.Instead of selling them better to add up more investment and buy more cheap coins.
1660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which ETH wallet do you use? on: September 05, 2017, 03:31:02 PM
Hello!

Which ETH wallet do you prefer to use?

Thank you!
Myetherwallet, metamask and mist wallet, But i prefer to use the hardware wallet to store all of my ethereum because that was the safest way as far as i know to store my ethereum which other wallet just rely to the 3rd party development.
I have mist wallet and downloading entire chain is really pain in the ass and if you are a newbie then you would really have doubts on downloading it.For me, i would rather use Lite version which is myetherwallet.com since you can already have the keys and its already safe as long those keys arent shown in public or no one ever knows then your funds are safe.
