1661  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scamc0p scammed me for 215$! on: July 22, 2015, 09:12:57 PM
I'll upload more photos soon of the private messages , check OP

i also used my paypal balance not CC Sad

you can dispute gifts by using an unauthorized claim; like i said, everything on paypal can be disputed, its just that gifts are harder.
1662  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scamc0p scammed me for 215$! on: July 22, 2015, 09:02:25 PM
I've paid as a gift it won't let me chargeback Sad

everything on paypal can be charged back, and you still have no proof that there was a deal between you and the user, making me believe you made that newbie account just to troll or try to slander someone's rep. until those screenshots are posted, no one is going to take this accusation seriously.
1663  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: July 22, 2015, 08:59:29 PM
every gambler want to be rich
gambling is the fastest ways (if you're lucky)

don't try to gamble if you don't have spare money to lose
stay safe
Moral of the story is: GAMBLING IS STUPID. If you DO however end up doing it, please set yourself a minimum point of loss. You will thank me later for it.

that piece of advice is said so often, but no one follows it. never gamble what you cant afford to lose, but threads saying "i lost me life savings on bitcoin gambling" pop up here every now and then.
1664  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scamc0p scammed me for 215$! on: July 22, 2015, 08:56:57 PM
do you have proof that there was a deal between you and the user? screenshots of pm's skype conversations, etc? anyone can make a new account, make a new address, and say that they were supposed to have bitcoins sent there. also, if this was a paypal transaction, you didnt really lose anything as you could just charge it back, if you were actually scammed of course.
1665  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Anonymity for sending Bitcoin on: July 22, 2015, 08:52:20 PM
Coinbase would be a good choice for you, since it is easy to use/ to send and to receive.
Every time it generates new addresses.
Also when an exchange was hacked the coins were sent to a site which was accessible only by TOR network.
Cant remember the site name but it was something like bitcoin foggy or something like that.
Search a bit and i think you will find what you are requiring.
Good Luck

for bitcoin anonymity i would not recommend coinbase at all since it tracks how users spend their funds.

https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2qmpp7/coinbase_is_tracking_how_users_spend_their/

in fact, i would really recommend against coinbase if you want to stay anonymous.

and the site youre thinking of is bitcoinfog, they have a clearnet portal, but to actually access their mixer services you must access them through TOR.

Well so i have never ever done or think about this until i saw this main post and was thinking how?
So i change my mind do something else and stay away from coinbase.

well aside from anonymity, copinbase is good for other uses; if youre an online merchant accepting bitcoin, i believe coinbase has a merchant tool to accept payments and convert them into fiat for you automatically, hence ensuring merchants dont lose out from bitcoin price volatility.
1666  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING AN ACCOUNT on: July 22, 2015, 08:47:36 PM
I think he is meaning something else like: The signed message "xxxx and address xxxx and signature xxxx" has been signed on Tuesday 21 July 2015. If i understand his question

well theere is no "date" field in a signed message, all there is are an address, message, and signature. if the message is dated the date would be included in the message, and the signature would be different compared to is the date was not included in the message as the message would be different. if youre asking if the date the message was signed could be verified or seen with the date not being explicitly stated in the message, no, i dont believe there is a way to do that.

Bump

shouldnt repaying your debt to monbux be your priority right now? why are you still making purchases if you have a ~0.28 debt to him?
1668  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Need Paypal have BTC on: July 22, 2015, 08:38:23 PM
And in case I default grtthegreat will pay you I think he can do that as I helped him little.

what makes you assume he will pay you? has he already agreed to this nonsense? seems not:

Pm me your Skype ID
Amount is very low 0.003 BTC only I want 0.01$ PayPal

1) The amount is ridiculously low, so, I even doubt, you are trolling.
2) Seen your trust ?? No one would believe you with PP because PP is highly dangerous as it offers buyer protection.

do you honestly expect anyone to take you seriously, given that its you?
1669  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I want bitcoins. on: July 22, 2015, 08:28:58 PM
Bitcoin is very cheap now, maybe the best to buy couple of them on exchange. If you don't have money, try doing tasks for bitcoin. Try signature campaigns, referals and faucets.

cheap in comparison to a week ago when it spiked to 300+ maybe, but more so than that, the price is relatively stable right now. its less likely that your bitcoin will lower in value in terms of fiat, and you could likely convert back to fiat with minimal losses, or maybe even profits if you were to purchase some at this time.
1670  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING AN ACCOUNT on: July 22, 2015, 08:25:41 PM
But what happen if the seller take back his account by proving the ownership of old address after sell the account to someone? Is it still possible right?

Please respond, I'm curious about this one.

No need to worry if the buyer have signed message from the seller when buying accounts, that would serve as proof of account transfer and he cant claim it back

Well when you buy an account you ask the seller to sign a message that that account is sold to you, and you must keep this message for future, so you are protected. - my opinion

its not just your opinion, i agree with it as well. by stating in the signed message that the account will be sold to you, the seller can no longer claim the account back as theirs using a signed message.

Quick question about signed messages: Now, from what I understand, for a signed message to be valid, it must have been fron an address associated to the account from a post or something at some point. If a person were to purchase an account, and then decide to resell it for whatever reason, how could he legitimately prove ownership without having access to an address that has been associated with the account for an extended period of time?

The buyer can't proof that he is the legitimate buyer except he got a signature from seller that says that the previous owner sold the account to him. The new owner should have posted a bitcoin address so that he can proof, with another signature, that he held the account since then.

When selling an account then the message should contain the date of sale, the account to be sold and the buyer who bought it.

I agree with you, a date should be included in the signed message, i dont know if we can verify when has been signed the message can we?

if a date is included in the signed message, that should be sufficient proof the message was signed on that day if the message can be verified as valid; the signature for the message wouldnt be valid if any part of the message or signature were to be changed.

Yes i know that, but i was wondering if we can verify when was that message signed if there is no date in the message.

yes, the signature of the signed message is only valid for that particular message. the date is just a part of the message. if the signature corresponds to the message it should be verifiable without issues.
1671  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Double spend on: July 22, 2015, 08:21:30 PM
Ehy guys i'm a noob in this thing.
I have a transaction made from mycelium not confirmed from 2 days now, i'd like to double spend it whit a higher fee to complete the payment, it's easy to do this?

You cannot double spend in mycelium, the mycelium client won't let you.
You have to either wait for the transaction to be confirmed or wait that mycelium drops your transaction if it doesn't get confirmed in some time. Sorry I don't know how long is before mycelium drops the transaction if unconfirmed.

he could, however, export the public keys and import them into a wallet that would allow him to create a double-spend transaction. based on the situation, this is likely to be faster than waiting for the transaction to confirm on its own.
1672  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have 0.02 btc , want to invest on: July 22, 2015, 08:04:21 PM
0.022 B is just a tiny bitcoin, you can invest a ipo or just to gamble your money. Wink

i am sorry to say this but both of those are the worst things that anybody can do with their bitcoins.

i personally consider both of them a gamble and also with high risks.

however, 0.02 is a fairly small amount, and putting it to an ico coin may pay off better than gambling would if youre lucky. but yes, it is incredibly risky but the amount risked by doing so would be very small.

1674  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cost of Bitcointalk Accounts. on: July 22, 2015, 11:03:21 AM
how about my acc Iam jr.member but i use avatar  Roll Eyes

any 1 interesting to buy at price 1BTC  Cheesy

you are overestimating the cost of an account, your can not go for more than 0.034, with good trust and quality post you can rise a junior even above 0.1

It just takes 4 weeks more to become a Member, and no offense, but even you over-estimated the cost of a Jr. Member, that's the cost of a Member's account...
I have never seen a Jr. Member account sold at the rate you mentioned...

i said no more, not at that rate, if a junior member with 34 activity has a good post quality can already be sold for that, bears in mind that with junior you can roi in 1.5 months at 0.034 so it's not a bad amount

not to mention that during those 1.5 months, you will be gaining activity to put yourself at a member status, and from there you can start earning even more with the signature campaigns.

Thank's for all Smiley
but my point is Iam jr.member and i use avatar   Cheesy

avatar is worthless, anyone can upload an avatar, and unless you want to use it to earn more in a campaign it count nothing when evaluating the cost of your account

hes saying its a tad (just a tad) special because avatars are allowed for full members and up now, bit quite honestly its not that special imo as well; you could try putting it up for sale or auction in the marketplace and see what kind of offers you get though.
1675  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is there any PVP based on skill games out there? on: July 22, 2015, 10:56:52 AM
It would be awesome if we can bet for bitcoin for Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft.
Anyone knows any site can do or anyone interested?
if you mean e-sports betting like dota, and yes nitrogensports.eu had some e-sports bet.
but don't know if there is a hearthstone betting game, just check it out.

iirc i think fairlay had hearthstone betting available, not 100% sure it was them but im not going to double check at this time of night. i am 100% sure that one of the sites does offer it though, and that it's not nitrogen. however, i wouldnt bet on hearthstone personally, too much rng involved.
1676  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Best way to earn Bitcoins? on: July 22, 2015, 10:54:59 AM
60 or more posts a day with one account is doable and you probably won't be banned, but you will draw a lot of attention for your account and will be banned even if just a few of your posts looks like spam.

If you are not sure enough about the quality of your posts, better split them among 2 or more accounts, if you are going to post 50+ posts a day, so you won't draw so much staff attention to you.
Would this is somewhat of a good idea? So both accounts are in the signature campaigns (maybe the same). One account for top quality posts, no spam-like posts. The other account would be for not-as-high-quality posts, and also spam-like posts.

I think this is a good idea, as if one is banned, then you've got the other (presumably the high quality posts one Tongue). It would also not "draw a lot of attention" to the accounts. This would (probably) be a way around the limit on posts per day for some signature campaigns too.

However, what if somebody makes a connection between the accounts when one is banned? Wouldn't this have an impact on the other? Does this mean you have to keep information relating to both accounts under wraps, to prevent people from making connection? Or would people (this includes staff) just not care?

if one of the accounts were to be banned, using the other account to post from would be considered ban evasion i would assume, which would lead to a ban on the first account as well. just dont spam, its simple. this is getting rather off topic too though.
1677  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Would you pay 33$ for a 7 days 1150Th/s ±5% mining contract? on: July 22, 2015, 10:51:50 AM
ask yourself: why would you sell anything if youre not getting profit off of it? i guarantee you that contract you will buy will not get you your money's worth. there is no reason for the person selling this service to offer you this deal if he was not getting something out of this. why offer someone mining power if they could make more mining on their own? they wouldnt.
1678  Economy / Gambling / Re: Quantum Dice - House edge as low as 0.01%!!![limited time] on: July 22, 2015, 10:33:45 AM
Thanks so much guys. The support means a lot to me. I was wondering l where else can I promote this site apart from this forum? Any ideas?

 Like us on Facebook now!

If you have budget for promotion than social media campaigns would be helpful to get some active players for this site, twitter campaign i will suggest you and some giveaway promotions would be helpful for this.

Any idea how I can engage such service?? The twitter ones I mean

go check out the services section, usually you want to limit the tweets/day because unlike signatures, those can be spammed endlessly. i cant give any specific advice, but try looking around the existing twitter campaign threads and try to model your campaign after those.
1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TUTORIAL] How to Earn 1 Bitcoin in a Week on: July 22, 2015, 10:26:48 AM
not a good idea after all if gambling or somewhat like gambling is involve.

don't follow the OP is he probably trying to scam, he can be involved in running that exchange, he didn't provide any real proof on his earning, where is the TX of his earning? there is none of course

as i said, the op was hyping up his own coins that he invested in to get people to buy them up on the exchanges. sounds a tad conspiracy theory like, but its definitely within the realm of possibility.
1680  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: THINGS TO CONSIDER WHEN BUYING AN ACCOUNT on: July 22, 2015, 09:55:02 AM
I wanna buy an account and i wanna knw the kind of things i should watch out for when im buying a membership account on this forum

Something to consider if you want to buy an account are The Rank lever of tbe account at least Sr. Member, Post quality, and Trust level of the account also the price of the account you want to buy

you should also extensively search the account's posts and history once you know the name of the account to see if it is involved in any suspicious activity, scams, has any open loans, etc. for obvious reasons.
