Does anyone know how to change the payment address? It wont let me change it at all. I do have the lock setting on so maybe thats an issue. I like this pool but I cant mine the problem coin until I can fix this.
Email me with your username and I'll unlock it.

Nibble may be a good choice to add to MultiPort. It seems to have wild swings in difficulty (with 2016 Block Difficulty Retarget). Yesterday, it was running at 300% with only 1/12 orphans. Just something to keep an eye on.
An issue is that the donations aren't covering the costs, and each additional coin adds more overhead (and more cost) for upkeep... The donations have been on the rise lately.. I need to finish the code changes so that I know exactly how much is coming in. That way, I'll know what the income is and how much I can afford to spend monthly on server resources. Oh, that's great to hear! It looks like the hash rate has been going up a little as well? I think we're 'over the hump', so to speak.

Hi,
I've seen this asked but didn't find an answer to it: I added payout addresses and specifically NOT marked "lock", yet still I find they are locked. How can I unlock them, since I want to change them? Or flound, could you remove them, if unlocking is not possible? (Username same as here)
Thanks BTW, I noticed it sometimes takes a few mins to do the switchover on the multiport. How do you do it? I made good experience with having port forwarding via rinetd and just restarting rinetd in the background with another config and thus the switchover can occur in less than 2 seconds. Also experimenting with controlling cgminer/bfgminer directly via API commands for switch-over without hashing-downtime at all. If you're interested, let me know.
The switch is instant (actually, there is a 2 second delay). The hashrate is what takes time to update since it is a 5 minute average inserted directly into the db by the pool software. The lock thing is kind of a kludge right now. Basically, the lock is account-wide. I need to change it so it's coin-specific. If you need something unlocked currently I need to do it manually.

Yeah I was looking at that as well. It may the next coin I add.

WDC is a 'work in progress'. Dev's are currently making changes to address the orphan issue amongst other 'fixes'. WDC will be back, though having said that, its never really disappeared off the scene and has always been one of the most profitable coins to mine since its release.
Yeah the network is strong enough and always near the top on coinchoose, but really nobody ever mentions it these days, and price slides everytime i look. The coin design was good but the devs need to push something out for it sooner than later. Better to bring the discussion back here than the dedicated forum too that looks too small to be worth while really. New people may take an interest if the thread was still going strong here really. The price slides because 100,000+ new coins are generated every day and people don't have much to do with them except dump them for BTC.

Your multipool is mining LTC, it's not the most profit on coinchoose or coinwarz
If it's mining LTC, that means the site has calculated it to be the most profitable of the coins we offer. We don't offer every coin on coinchoose. I mean DGC and WDC got higher profit at that time. Only when not accounting for stales and orphans.
|
|
|
Flound, does your pool take into account stales when choosing which coin to automine? For example on http://coinchoose.com/ its showing Worldcoin at 160% but only 108% after stales. Yes, my calculation docks WDC by 25% and DGC by 20%. From what I've seen, we get around 10% orphans and the pool efficiency hovers between 90-95% on Worldcoin. So I'm hesitant to dock it by more than that. I probably would, if I had gotten any complaints about payouts being low (which I haven't.) DGC efficiency is a bit higher and has fewer orphans.

They moved to their own forum which looks pretty small. The network still looks pretty strong though. What is happening with that coin exactly? I remember when price was almost the same as DGC i just checked and well......i guess DGC's constant dev eventually won that out.
Aside from a forum, is there anything else coming for that coin? will the price keep sliding into 00000000000000?
The forum looks to have been a bad idea, those that didnt move to it have forgotten WDC existed i guess since there is hardly ever a mention of it here.
~9BTC worth of WDC buy orders left on mcxNOW, to put that in perspective, that's less than both Mincoin and SolidCoin (!). A few BTC worth of buys left on Cryptsy and Bter as well. I still have WDC on my pool but the market depth on the buy side is worrisome.

I just set hashrate back to a 5 minute average for most pools.. At 2 minutes things jump around quite a bit.

I compiled it on June 14, do I need to get the new version?

You can setup bots at the exchanges to auto sell all the coins as soon as they are confirmed.
Do you know any exchange that trades the coins mined by multipool and offers a bot like this? I'm currently using cryptsy.com but I can't find anything about setting up a bot there. I know BTC-E does. Cryptsy has an api, but I'm not sure if it allows buying and selling.
|
|
|
I am going to start using a coin's bid price, or a weighted average of the top X bids to determine a coin's price, rather than the last trade price. This should be more accurate than the last trade price which can be more easily manipulated with small trades.
ETA for this is unknown at the moment, but I'm hoping to have it finished within the next 2 days.

If it's mining LTC, that means the site has calculated it to be the most profitable of the coins we offer. We don't offer every coin on coinchoose.

Multipool takes into consideration the reject rate as well (averaged). Sites like coinwarz don't. So if a coin has 120% profitability but has a 20% reject rate, multipool would show it as 100% since after you take into consideration rejects that's what your true rate is.
Does anyone know of a tool that automatically sells all your altcoins to Bitcoins as soon as they get in? That would make this the ultimate mining solution I think. Sadly, no. I think flound said if some exchange was willing to support that though he could use their API to do it or something. I've been thinking about this, and auto-sell for BTC and/or LTC is something I'm considering for the future.

It will take 3 days approximately. Blocks generation rate is stable enough to predict confirmation time. Yep. Just like PPC. Your doc page mentions the 520 confirms for proof of stake coins, but not proof of work coins.
|
|
|
Hey, how many confirmations until a block matures?
520 confirmations. Damn. OK

Any HTML wizards have a clue why the right side of the stats page gets cut off on mobile browsers?
I don't know much HTML, but this was also happening for me when using a regular browser window if I made it narrow and then tried to scroll right to see those stats. It seems to display everything for the width of the current browser window and then cuts off anything past that. Edit: Nvm, looks like it is already fixed, at least on my phone's browser. Yeah, it's working now on my phone as well. I must have inadvertently fixed it with the recent CSS changes.

Could you please check to see if I am generating anything? Worker is SullyTex.4
Been hashing for the past hour and even found some blocks but nothing showing on the web page. I even killed off and created a new worker to verify.
