Any estimated profit/day/Mhash for these days?

Depends when you sold, WDC dropped by 30% in the past few hours.
682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: October 22, 2013, 05:13:48 PM
Also how about you add: average hashrate (7d); average hashrate (1m) somewhere as it should be very easy to add but yet very useful?

1m hashrate is on the Account page.
683  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: October 22, 2013, 05:05:21 PM
1. are sha256 merged mined?
2. will nmc be added?

1. Not yet.
2. After we find our first BTC block, I will add NMC merged mining.
684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: October 22, 2013, 06:55:47 AM
Fun pool. Mining TRC now for ~2 weeks. One thing is killing me tho...

Server itself.  Cry Waiting for start page to load takes ages. Today it took over 30 minutes (started long before 6.00 GMT, finished few minutes after). Must be some kind of a record. www.multipool.us is as far I could get. Opening detailed stats, etc is impossible ATM.

Site had some issues tonight while I was doing family stuff.  Should be better now.
685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: October 21, 2013, 10:32:28 PM
How about you make a reply to me.. sigh

Sorry for not responding earlier. I'm looking into this.
686  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: October 21, 2013, 08:15:03 PM
My bet is most of those coins will be worth even less than today. Very few will survive to be sold higher later.

The reason most of them were higher is due to speculation.  Now that BTC is going up a lot of people are cashing out to sell for fiat.  That, combined with a lot of panic selling, is what's going on right now.

When BTC drops or levels off, people will start playing around with alts again.
687  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: October 21, 2013, 03:49:59 AM
Any update on the JSON?  Not sure if my PM'd IP was added to the exception list.  I am noticing Incapsula is screwing everything up?  See the custom CAPTCHA page you were telling me about but obviously can't enter the code when it's a vendor's webserver.  I have 6 miner systems and need this feed to monitor what my individual machines are doing as the standard website shows for each coin what each miner is doing (if one machine has 3 cards and each mining a different coin, each worker shows 3 times) and I've consolidated it in various ways to know easily if a miner has stopped.  Even getting 404 error iframe boxes on the screen when it's trying to connect.  When I do a refresh of the page, the URL changes to.

http://localhost/_Incapsula_Resource?CWUDNSAI=23_06D98857&incident_id=133000630312744962-1253996524770493430&edet=12&cinfo=180db217c753818f04000000

I am trying this on my local computer which is on my personal network to eliminate my hosting provider from the issues.  Which apparently shows Incapsula is mucking things up.  I have tried my thought of passing a user agent but doesn't do anything.  Guess just like other acts of terrorism, if you want to call a DDOS attack terrorism, they are winning.  Making our lives more difficult to deal with.  Sorry to go all philosophical but for me a deal breaker.  Not really your problem Flound if there is no way around it to protect yourself but what you gonna do.

FYI:  Can't tell date of the thread, but looks like a common issue with this protection: http://www.enjin.com/forums/m/10826/viewthread/4539356-accessing-enjin-api-through-php-gives-404-or-redirect

Thanks.

JR

I was given a private IP by Flound which did work for my API reader. But this is not a permanent solution to redirect everybody to a private IP address to use an API. API pages cannot be protected by Incapsula, because it is intended to be used between a browser and a website. API on the other hand is not accessed from the browser most of the time but rather it is access by some script (unfortunately DDOS attacks are done by the scripts as well) . So the error messages should not be in HTML but they should be in JSON as API is using json as an output.

I see cryptsy is using a separate domain/IP address for its API for the reasons listed above.

I'll spin up api.multipool.us with a limited number of Apache sessions (10 or so) as soon as I can.
688  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [ANN][2TH][Auto Profit-switching ASIC Pool][BTC, TRC, FRC, ZET] multipool.us on: October 20, 2013, 08:26:18 AM
FRC added.
689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: October 20, 2013, 08:21:01 AM
Over 200 hours or over 7 days for a BTC block.
Really... There is to much competition for BTC pools, the only winners are DDOS company's.
Bitminter as black lotus
This pool as Incapsula
Etc...

The only time this pool as had ddos attack seems to be when it became a BTC pool.

So is it worth it?

EDIT: Is it worth having a BTC pool?

A SHA256 multipool without BTC would be pointless as BTC is most profitable over 90% of the time. The pool needs more hash rate to work but at 1.5% fee it doesn't compete with some others that already have much larger has rates.

And the other SHA-256 profit-switching pools are... ?

It's a service that's not available elsewhere (unless you do it yourself).  If there's a SHA-256 profit switching pool out there that charges less than 1.5% then maybe I'll consider reducing the fee.

Is the json feed down?  Getting an error with my custom page.

Thanks

JR

How often are you polling?  The DDoS protection might have flagged you as a possible bot.

PM me your IP and I'll whitelist you.

Adam,

Please disable your Incapsula protection for api: it just doesn't work
This is what I get:
Code:
<html><head>
<META NAME="ROBOTS" CONTENT="NOINDEX, NOFOLLOW"></head><iframe src="/_Incapsula_Resource?CWUDNSAI=23_6474EB71&incident_id=32000460203925730-626275625545499365&edet=12&cinfo=43b835aac753818f04000000" frameborder=0 width="100%" height="100%" marginheight="0px" marginwidth="0px">Request unsuccessful. Sent you a PM

What's the correct address for FRC?
I'm hashing on stratum+tcp://pool1.us.multipool.us:3341 and not showing any results.

3341 is correct.  Hmm, your shares are in the db..  I will look into this.

Estimates script was failing, this should be fixed now.

It looks like the SSL certificate has updated.  Please try now.

Flound... why don't you use CloudFlare? It is a free service, and GREAT (I used it for all my business investment websites, some HYIP which everyone tries to hack and DDoS) OR they also have an upgraded plan which is only like $20 per month with extra DDoS protection, but even the basic protects against small DDoS. You point your domain name at the Nameservers that Cloudflare gives you for your account and then you control the DNS from CloudFlare and they send all requests to your IP/server. So it is much harder to find the actual IP of your server, IP lookups show one of CloudFlares IP's. It is a real good service... a necessity with money/investments/cryptos/etc.
blockchain.info blockexplorer.com primedice.com peerbet.org and so many more use it.

It is way cheaper than these expensive DDoS hosting companies, but it works awesome. When I had my HYIP (High Yield Investment Sites there was one known successful CloudFlare attack on their network which didn't last long. It was kind of a hackers challenge by CloudFlare and no one could do it for a long time.

You can also block IP's or even whole regions with just 1 click, because it lists any suspicious visitors in your account and you just click "block" and they are.

Anyway, the reason I'm here was to ask a serious question. When I visit the website, right now, it gives me a security warning (NEVER SEEN BEFORE)...

""This Connection is Untrusted
You have asked Firefox to connect securely to www.multipool.us, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.
Normally, when you try to connect securely, sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.
What Should I Do?
If you usually connect to this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.
www.multipool.us uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is only valid for the following names: incapsula.com , *.algstaging.com , *.bridgebank.com , *.closedforgood.org , *.clubintrawest.com , *.depositview.com , *.djoglobal.com , *.efoqa.com , *.fcmrktplace.com , *.gedigitalenergy.com , *.geenergymanagement.com , *.gs1uk.org , *.hummus.co.il , *.lsc.net , *.macu.edu , *.morristech.com , *.nestle.com.au , *.perisher.com.au , *.segalrc.com , *.spacefurniture.com.au , *.tabbank.com , *.tsunagaru-ap.net , *.waubonsee.edu , algstaging.com , apps.nestle.co.uk , bridgebank.com , cleverestcat.nestle.co.uk , closedforgood.org , clubintrawest.com , depositview.com , djoglobal.com , efoqa.com , fcmrktplace.com , gedigitalenergy.com , geenergymanagement.com , gs1uk.org , hummus.co.il , impervasecurepay.reedbusiness.co.uk , lsc.net , macu.edu , morristech.com , nestle.com.au , perisher.com.au , segalrc.com , spacefurniture.com.au , tabbank.com , waubonsee.edu (Error code: ssl_error_bad_cert_domain)""

...I did not proceed, because I know you have been dealing with the DDoS and as you see it says someone may have hijacked the server to redirect me somewhere else where to a Phishing Site copy of Multipool and steal login info.

It could be because you are making changes with DNS or HostName to add DDoS protection such as CloudFlare, or thee certificate has expired or something like that... but I am not going until I know for sure. Please respond and let me know if you know about this warning and if it is safe, something that was caused by you. Thanks!

I'm using Incapsula now, none of the free services support SSL.  The SSL warning should go away once they've generated certificates.  Supposedly it takes less than 24 hrs.
695  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][Profit-switching scrypt+ASIC Pool] multipool.us on: October 18, 2013, 05:21:01 PM
Yes, only reports 4 miners hashing
and shares are stuck at 6144 for me, at least it looks like they are.

I'll take a look.  Meanwhile we are under DDoS attack again.
Doesn't the pool have DDoS protection?

It will soon.  We haven't needed it until now.

What's going on? Now 1 of my miners doesn't show that it's hashing at https://www.multipool.us/accountdetails.php
but guiminer says it's working and getting shares.
Also the reported hashrate is correct but minus the one miner that isn't showing.
I've also tried adding a new worker and switching to US pool, but nothing.
I posted this earlier, haven't got a reply from Flound yet, all the stats relating to worker, hashrates, and shares are stuck... only the balance, blocks, and the MP are updating. Your worker is working, it just won't show till that gets fixed, I have seen the site do that one or two other times.

I don't see any issues at the moment.. My hashrates and shares are updating on the site.  Are you guys still having issues?
698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] profit switching auto-exchanging pool - middlecoin.com on: October 18, 2013, 02:16:27 AM
is it possible that I still have some stuck immature coins? about 0.0006 BTC??

That's nine cents.

Site down?

We were under DDoS attack earlier, it's back up now.

I see that the website is down, but I also only have 1 withdrawal since I last checked... are the auto withdrawals delayed till the pool front end is up also, or  is it my workers???

I had disabled the payout job but it's active again now.  You should see withdrawals going out again soon.
