LN will never, ever exist in any useable form anytime soon.

[...]

Bloody morons!

I laughed a bit when I saw that...  Cheesy Cheesy

Btw... you do know that there are many studies now that show the countries with the best internet, have the highest development speed. So... after pointing this out, many of the governments of the world already started to implement projects and devote more funds for internet infrastructure. But as much I might be concerned, mostly Europe + Asia might be relevant regarding to this. I have a strange feeling US will go the way of Gold & Silver. But of course excepting most of the hillbillies, only the West and East coasts from there might be more involved in BTCiTcoinz! Smiley

Oh.. yes.. sry! And one of those states with plenty of hillbillies already have fiber optics / gigabyte infrastructure, I think it was Kansas or Alabama. Anyway... I think if Chinese will rule the monetary / economical world in the next 5-10 years, they will probably be building your infrastructure from Russia > Alaska > California > Mexico > ... > Peru > Chile! So I guess it won't be a problem.

Fiat is not fungible.

As long as money laundering laws make one stack of cash more valuable than another stack of cash it is not fungible.

Also: Bitcoin is money.

Did anyone start to go full retarded on the devaluation currency wars yet??   Have they managed to figure out a way to not suck the BTCig D*** and tax us somehow ?? Smiley

I guess not! Cheesy Cheesy

Btw... anyone knows to read Chinese??  What is taking them so long??  Huh

Am I right in saying his data has been correct regarding bitcoin quite a few times? (Not all the time obviously)

I have recently seen a video regarding web bot predictions of bitcoin and silver and it states he has been right in the past with very odd predictions and it's been right, especially in the 400s and 800s.

Because of him I bought when it was 200$ ... Just because I'm a doom & gloom guy and I really don't like banks! Cheesy Cheesy

Is the second pic the web bot guy? What is everyone's view on web bot. Reading about bitcoin over this year and next from web bot sounds incredible. I can only hope it happens.

Yep... Cliff High..  Tongue

My view is that he is bullish on BTCiTcoin!  But, regarding the web bot, as the guy in the picture said: "it is better than chance". And I tend to believe the same, it is better than chance.

And even if Cliff owns a few coins and maybe gives too much attention to it sometimes. Regarding to his interests of rising awareness and motivating people to buy and rise his own price through his "propaganda" or better said free advertising of bitcoin. I don't mind that at all. We could use more people spreading the word of our ruthless Lord and Savior BTCiTcoin!
1673  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 16, 2017, 03:18:18 PM
If I put in a buy on bitfinex at 30k usd/btc with a volume of 7.5mil = .4% x btc at830. Do I raise the btc price on the market by 3.32 usd/btc

Nope... more than that! Tongue Maybe 100$ if u'r lucky. Smiley

*edit:   And you don't buy them all at once ffs... Smiley  (especially if u want to rise the price)
1674  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 15, 2017, 09:39:21 PM
Or else this enormous cup requires a proportionally large handle, in which case this clambering up and dripping down could continue for months?

So... from my calculations... its supposed to go somewhere at a bottom of 666. But...

I don't think that will happen.

if it is another handle... lower than 750$ would be a ridiculous low number. And a better, more realistic expectation would be a bull trend for now with +10-15$ per week from now on.  Grin
1675  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 14, 2017, 03:32:33 AM

Damn.. that's good.

But I guess its pretty much sideways(10-15$/day) for the next few days at least... I just see a ping-pong of 100-200CNY each day in their exchange with revised policies. But nothing too sharp and drastic.  Smiley
1676  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2017, 03:57:20 PM
Today has not been the best day for me. The guy I was gonna trade half a dozen bitcoins with suddenly dropped off the face of the earth, so now I'm stuck with useless fiat instead of cheap coins. Can't get it back on kraken until sometime next week because banks break on weekends (they really need to fix that bug).
[...]

I guess he should hurry then! ... But probably he has a week or so before the price goes mental upwards. Cheesy Cheesy

Even though I sometimes get inklings about the short-term direction of price, I never feel very confident about my inklings until after I see it happen.

Therefore, I would not sell my bitcoins in the expectation to use that money to buy from someone who is 10% or so likely to flake (sure flakiness varies, but it is NOT a non-existent or even a low probable risk).

To be honest... there is no cataclysmic event happening soon. And from what it looks, the market is being duped.. So... they can't keep this up for much longer. But I guess the exchanges took enough profits from the stupid leverage gamblers.

But eh.. what do I know? .. I'm a simple man, doing plain right simple trades, that takes small percentages of profits.  Smiley

Difficult to know how long they can keep dumping coins... and maybe get others to follow... ?

Well from the post of the other guy above... it looks like no more more leveraged gambling in China. ( Because Chinese are smart! Cheesy Cheesy )

And they know that in the long term, the market can't be manipulated in BTCiTcoin and they can't come off as the bad guy to their people when they need to hand out the cash like a bankrupt casino. And exchanges will have to disrupt prices at their own financial risk.  ( I say this because they tried it and they got burned, they saw the financial burden for trying to manipulate just to keep the people happy! Cheesy )

So basically we are heading towards a pillar of stability in BTCiTcoin wealth!  Grin  Grin

*edit:   I might have sounded a bit confusing... So there where 2 manipulators.. the exchange and the China gov. The China gov was trying to keep the price in place and the exchanges was trying to force the hands of faith by forcing the hand of the masses and herding them like sheep in the aggressive / violent moves. Smiley

*edit2:   And when saying that exchanges will have to disrupt prices at their own financial risk... I mean that they will have to sell without leverage. Just plain simple trades! Traditional & Honest!  Grin Grin
1677  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: January 13, 2017, 09:44:02 AM

OK, here's the funny thing. The central bank can bloviate all it wants. In the end the people have the power. (OK, it wasn't exercised in this recent India demonitization, but we should be ready for the next ((hint: it's coming to you)) ).

What do I mean? India was about 80% cash. Why would the people not just reply with 'fuck you - we'll just keep using these notes the same way we have been'. Nothing changes. 80% of all transactions continue being done in cash -- not recognized by the gubmint, but who the fuck gives a shit -- and Modi ( and his wall street financiers) get to stew over in the corner. I mean really -- for the people, what is the downside?

The problem is that you have to trust every other member of society to honour the value of that non-government-backed cash. It's like a massive game of Prisoners' Dilemma. Personally I wouldn't trust other people to maintain the value of my wealth (any more than I'd trust the government). Unless it has some sort of very widely recognised/intrinsic value, you're playing a very dangerous game.

Usually a physical type/shape/form of money if it has no real application or usability in the real world, it has no value. Smiley

*edit:   And what the world has experienced in these last 40-50 years, it was just fairy/pixie dust make belief... It is dying soon and quickly! People want their power and wealth control back!

*edit2:   Basically what we had till now was a time limited system that was a product of our isolation as nations. But since the internet and global awareness started to spread its roots (and you can't put that cat in to the box once it was out, communication is a basic need), that dream/illusion started to fade away! Because when people became aware that some places had money with more value (like Germany), they started to migrate there. And as a consequence the word is forced to go in to one global single currency, so the migration and all this nonsense will stop. (But they can't use gold, because they don't have enough of it and its too complicated to use it on a large scale and authenticate it without the proper technology.)

Sounds as if you do not have a large enough float.. whether that is BTC or cash.

I don't usually conduct the trade on the exchange until after I have already locked in the profitable trade on Local Bitcoins or directly... and that is that I have actually either received the bitcoins from the guy or I have received the fiat from the guy.

To do that, you have to have enough of a float that covers the full amount of bitcoins or fiat that you are trading and usually a bit more because of transfer times and other cushion issues that sometimes can get the money or the BTC in their proper locations and set up for the next trade.... that transferring money around can be a bit of a hassle and sometimes cause additional costs - that tend to be lessened, somewhat with having a decent float (and even then, it may be a bit cumbersome to manage with some unexpected costs, here and there)

If this was an ABC, then it's probably completed the C, and now it's building a triangle. Support could be tested over the next days, so a bit cheaper than right now is possible.

Aw c'mon mastertzup - you were willing to throw out $660 when we were at $1100 and many called you crazy!

I'd love to know whether the past few days market activity has shifted your number up, down, or unchanged.

If u keep listening to this guy... some day Tzupy will F'U. guud! Cheesy Cheesy

Just take everything he says with a pinch of salt.. Smiley
