For what reason? sorry, its been a long day Today... so why do I like it.. let me be very honest first , I have not read (and I should) cryptonight white paper (just to school myself on the underlying algo) so it is tough for me to know if for example GPU or fPGA or ASIC hardware will eventually mine this.. But on the principle.. is that right now, as of now, eeeeeryone can mine this.. globally around the world and interface is quite simple to anyone that remotely touched a command line.. and I suspect there is great deal of people (20 years ago was less) but not Today.. And there is this *emission curve* on which I wrote before and will quote again because this is what I really like.. it is not about the coin.. its about possibility of having QNC in the hands of many many people... .... QCN achieves smooth and gradual block reward decrease, believe but not certain Satoshi made original decision based on some calculation with Moore's law (increase in hardware advances) our "competition" block rewards decrease substantially faster, what it means people will pile up coins there much much faster and later whoever comes later will fight an uphill battle (no matter how powerful and how many CPU's) in this way QCN achieves steady and wide distribution with approx 18 million coins, so thats good for commerce later (more equal distribution and prevention of clustering of coins in hands of the few..) our "competition" is clustering coins as we speak, possible Today with taking over CPU data center (this actually happened here in the States multiple times with the primecoin) although not yet as it would reflect in their difficulty level which is not high enough (yet) and finally, coins will need to start being actually used! or nothing will help. . hence accent of distribution and commerce, without it.. they will collect dust in wallets.. this problem is common to the whole landscape of cryptocoins.. be lieve Quazar will be used and this is very attractive (used as in buy/sell of goods and service and not just intra-day trading, our "competition" emission is intra day friendly, pile up pump then sell massive quantity (when that almost exponential curve ends and rewards and difficulty is high, price is high. then sell.. this is NOT commerce.. and I dont like it ... |

entering this (well entered this yesterday) first of all you are unique as you are a software development company with that said any premine (and it is here staring one in the face) can be (if smart) used to enhance technology beyond the competition. Even coin name itself (distrocoin) has software connotations.. all are nice differentials in this mirage of alt coin production.. so I am in, the debit card idea is great , step towards commerce, without commerce , crypto coins will be an academic exercise in cryptographic peer to peer CS thanks for signing me up for the card, and it is nice to be on the top of the list.. so yes definitely thumbs up, and in my opinion you belong in top tier of alt coin assemblage |

Hi gents! I have been lurking for about week. I finally decided to join and say keep up the good work! This coin is going places and IMO it is grossly undervalued. How many days do you guys estimate before POW mining is over?
don't know actually.. I rushed yesterday while diff was on par with my capability, soon block reward will be halved we are at 11,212 and block reward will 1/2 when: Block 12001 to 48000: 62.5 by that time difficult will enter escape velocity, what you have here is capable dev that can pull off what Dark did and some it is good to have competition. the only complain I have is stake % which is 2.75% could have been bumped to 5% maybe 10% this because POS is now a common thing.. and *competition* will fight back with that % to attract investors.. and anon tech will also become more common.. please don't construed this as FUD.. just personal opinion analysis from what I have learned so far |

FUD could bee avoided if the crypt dev was open about the fact that he was just using the public code for XC and that ATCsecure had given his permission, instead of suggesting a close working relationship with the XC/X11 team that could not be disclosed because of a professional agreement.
ATCsecure posted on here to set the facts straight that he is not working with CRY and that CRY was simply making use of the public code, or as he said in a PM: "they used the public source code, I said go ahead."
The fact that this has been interpreted positively suggests confirmation bias on the part of CRY holders. I appreciate that people want the coins they have invested in to succeed, but in the long term it is better for the dev just to be transparent and not make claims that could be misconstrued. Good luck with the project.
excellent point above, accumulating but thru the mining process and not big account, positive outlook, in general anon coins will all be in the billion dollars industry, so need to scoop at least some, missed out on dark.. made few dozen on X11 and few hundred here.. and not selling please play by the rules and you will win |

Do you offer this service for any other coins ? well, come one.. seriously folks, we are 300 pages into a 12000 page thread... as much as I do have valid arguments which are not being addressed, i'm not manipulating the market. No-matter how much people whinge at me 'because it's raskul's fault' - the posting of my concerns DOES NOT AFFECT THE PRICE. it's how the markets are manipulated which controls the price, nothing more, nothing less. And as i've already stated, i've never purchased sync from the sell (low) side - only from the buy (high) side. maybe you should start mining.. it is lots of fun.. construct own hardware assemble and optimize software maybe tweak software so it beats the market.. something constructive start mining? man, i've a garage full of rigging (and cupboards full of boxes of old 130nm tech) software, i'm not that clever with - but i'm looking into setting up a pool - just for the experience, setting up that node gave me a sense of accomplishment, so if I can set up a pool on a similar VPS, i'll have learned something new again today +100 thats the spirit |
