1681  Other / Off-topic / Re: Have anyone visited Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch? on: April 25, 2014, 10:42:53 AM
Why would they even use a name this long?
Exactly! It is so confusing and hard to pronounce it ,i think that who ever name that village was crazy. It seams that the name has a meaning :
Llanfairpwllgwyngyllgogerychwyrndrobwllllantysiliogogogoch name means "Saint Mary's Church (Llanfair) in the clearing (pwll) white hazel (gwyngyll) next (goger) fast stream (y chwyrndrobwll) and St. Tysilio (llantysilio) red cave (gogogoch)."

1683  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is freedom? on: April 24, 2014, 06:41:05 PM
If your freedom is not free, then you are not truly free.
All people do want to be free. Or to say it differently, everybody wants freedom for themselves. Even tyrants want that. No tyrant in history has ever fought to enslave or oppress himself. It's in the wanting of freedom for others that we lack.

Freemen and tyrants are indistinguishable from each other in their love of personal liberty. The only way to tell them apart is to watch and see what they do to others.

The Northerners and Southerners before the Civil War were a perfect example of this. If you read nothing but the writings of both sides, you cannot tell them apart in their arguing for freedom. The only difference being that one wanted individuals to be free to eat the bread of their own labor, while the other wanted to be free to compel others to provide his bread for him.

The pro-choice crowd is another example. All their crying out for the freedom to choose sounds pretty fine and dandy until you look at it from the perspective of their unborn child.

The great freedom fighter Jesus Christ tried to teach us the true code of freedom, 'do to others as you would have them do to you' and 'love your neighbor as yourself'

Why we people can't believe something unless we see it?If you chose to believe in Jesus you don't have to research and see if he walked on water or not,you just feel it inside you,or this is my opinion.

Do you enjoy eating sandwiches with potato chips in them? Or enjoy non-classical combinations that make a sandwich?
Like peanut butter with onion? What freaky sandwiches do you make?
I used to eat bread with potato chips and cheese with mustard when i was young and didn't had to much money ....recently i made a weird combination with boiled eggs mixed with mayo cabbage and chocolate topping.....was yammmmy!

Alcohol was my best friend since i was 14  years old until 3 years ago when it destroyed  my liver .So enjoy your drinks while you can guys,i can\t anymore!

Saddened to hear that. Consumption of alcohol by minors always result in tragedies like this. Anyway... at least you managed to survive the liver disease. I know some of my friends who didn't.
Sadly this days i see kids around 7-10 years old drinking and i stop and try to explain them that is not a good choice and they just ignore me.....and i say wait!that was me years ago ........Sorry for your friends!
1692  Other / Off-topic / Re: Can Cats sense Earthquakes and other disaters on: April 24, 2014, 03:14:54 PM
I heard cats can sense all types of dangers, like they have sixth sense like spider man?
Cats, along with other domestic and wild animals, seem to sense impending natural disasters like earthquakes and tsunamis. Scientists can't fully explain this phenomenon. However they emphasize this isn't a paranormal sixth sense but an example of how animals receive sensory data beyond the range of human perception
1693  Other / Off-topic / Re: How, in the end, do you think the world will end? on: April 24, 2014, 03:11:31 PM
I think humans won't survive but the earth will   Grin
I agree with you!We as humans destroy ourselfs and the environment every second, but this planet know how to regenerate itself  ,so in the end "the world" will end but the planet Earth will survive.
1694  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why can't we just keep accelerating in space? on: April 24, 2014, 02:58:17 PM
In the simplest terms, we can, but our current methods of propulsion require heavy fuel, which adds to our mass and requires more fuel and so on. There's a point of diminishing returns with current technology.

Beyond that in much faster velocities, the closer you get to the speed of light, the more your mass increases and the more fuel you require to accelerate that mass. As you get closer to the speed of light, it approaches infinity.
1695  Other / Off-topic / Re: Colonizing Mars on: April 24, 2014, 02:43:48 PM
The earliest we can realistically expect to send an exploration mission to Mars is probably 2030-2035, and that is just one mission, NOT a colony. Someone will probably have to come up with an economic justification for such a colony, and right now that is hard to see.

Leviathan from Mass Effect...

For those of you unfamiliar they are enormous underwater dwelling creatures that use a form of mind control to manipulate every organic species in the universe. They pretty much are the puppet masters.
