1681  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is a whale? on: August 24, 2017, 02:24:46 PM
A whale is a big slippery mammal typically with a well-filled belly.
When whales use their big blow hole, surrounding animals get upset.
Smaller mammals also tend to get disturbed by the bow wave of whales that are playing too enthusiastically.
Smart birds ride the back of whales.

LOL. Very funny Smiley)))
This actually made my day. haha. I dont know if serious or not on this post since he did really define on whats a whale literally.  Well as a newbie you wont really easily catch up on whats going on here but if you are sensible enough we are on trading discussion board then probably we would discuss on a whale here on trading world.

For me, a whale is either a group or a single person/investor who have the capability on pumping prices of a certain coin they can easily affect the movement since they hold up huge volume of coins or they would decide to bought since they do have the money to put on.
1682  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Alt Currencies be Affected if the Stock Markets Crash Today? on: August 24, 2017, 11:12:56 AM
It is widely predicted that stock markets will crash in 2017 because of historical antecedents. Should this happen, what is the fate of the cryptocurrency ecosystem?
The answer is "None" since they are not correlated to each other because stocks and digital currencies are on different fields. If you do try to differentiate them you would really get on the thing what i suppose to say.
Even on forex, theres nothing to do with it on digital currencies even if it would crashes today.
1683  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop-Loss ideas on: August 23, 2017, 11:13:49 AM
Hello; I'm pretty new at trading crypto. I'm interested about thoughts and strategies about stop-loss percentages and strategies you guys use. at first I would not sell at a loss regardless my motto was "at least 5% profit, always" but if I want to trade more with a limited budget, I need to back out from certain coins even at a loss. that's why I'm interested about this topic.
Having stop-loss is always been suggested because if im having this kind of limits i wont easily burn up my money if prices would go on opposite way.Motto is always on earning a percentage depending on our target. You can make trailing stops later on if you are ready on the risk ahead if you do believe that prices might still go or down even more. This is my trading style. Trailing stops would comes next if i do know that prizes would potentially go in the right way im expecting.
1684  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Minereum go as high as Ethereum? on: August 23, 2017, 10:07:53 AM
Minereum now is also getting the attention of the cryto world. Do you think it will go as high as Ethereum. Well, I hope so.

What do you think? Do Minereum has the great potential?
Just like what others are saying here.It just a coin which do live on hype and i cant really see a thing on which it can go same as high on ETH. Thinking off that this is just a new coin, price might rise up but regarding on stability and support it wont really stood a chance on etherium for sure. These kind of views isnt really realistic at all because if we do say such thing we should always consider first some coins in the market.
1685  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: WARNING - Dumb speculation mistake in all coins on: August 22, 2017, 01:10:22 PM
Thinking that these coins are 'stocks' is a dumb mistake. The market cap speculation is not valid in this market because you don't need to calculate a "company valuation'". You don't have to compare a 'market value' with a 'book value" because it is not a company. Therefore, any coin can be worth even 1 million (regardless of supply) if people are willing to buy it at that price. There is no intrinsic value and that is why any price will be valid.

The following is an example of dumb statement:....BTC or ETH (or whatever) will never be $500'000 because the market cap will be..........bla bla bla bla yadda yadda yadda.

...so what??. It can be worth 5 million dollars a coin and what? There is no book value of a company. A coin market cap is not tied to anything. WAKE UP. This is the main reason any of these coins can go to 1 million or whatever number at ANY TIME
No one hava making some arguments related on this matter and who the hell those people who said that cryptocurrencies are considered as "stocks"? I bet no one do really treat on this way and do say such thing. I cant think on a reason why would people do think that cryptos are considered as stocks? and also marketcap is just the total not totally affecting on how a certain coin would grow because the thing do really affects here is the demand and supply of such coin.
1686  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Time management. on: August 22, 2017, 11:16:35 AM
Most of us have a daily responsibilities.
How do you manage your time in trading and in bounty campaign as well as researching for the news and updates of your favorite altcoin?
Yes we do have lots of daily responsibilties and task to be done a certain day and time management for me is good since i can handle all the things without any problem. For now im somehow going full time on cryptoworld which i do make tradings, joining on bounties and other microjobs as long it gives me potential income later on and at the same time i didnt forget my responsibilities. Its hard on the very first days but later on my body got used to it.
1687  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Is there a need for more escrows on this forum? on: August 22, 2017, 10:43:52 AM
For me personally if it wants to do transaction one of the things that I really need to get is the self data and clear evidence from someone who will transact with me. Because then I would be a little more confident in them, actually for escrow I also prefer it but now there are many escrow that turns their thinking finally leads to escape all customer's money. This is hard but we must always be vigilant and careful, usually a good escrow is what can be invited to communicate well
This would depend on a certain person if he would really accept the risk on transacting on other people without any escrows this is why these kind of services do exist because some people dont really have confidence on making transactions on random people on the net. Talking on need for more escrows in the forum,i can say that it isnt bad to start such service as long there are people would use you to be the middle man but i would say that competition with other reputable escrows would really be a tough thing.
1688  Economy / Economics / Re: If you were in desperate need for money.... on: August 21, 2017, 12:34:35 PM
If you were in desperate need for money / Bitcoins, what would you do? How to get it, earn it, whatw are your solutions and experiences? I wonder what people are ready to do when money is the problem.
For other people Maybe scamming  is the only way to get bitcoins in times you need bitcoin in fast way. I dont think someone will give you if your begging for it.

Yeah, scamming is the only way to get bitcoin fast. Though they knew already it's a sin. But even if I'm in so much need, I would not prefer to fool people just for my own welfare. There are so many ways, (even outside bitcoin world) we just get disconcerted because of the problem that we may run out of time or we may fail on resolving the existing problem.
People will do that when it worst situation but we know it's not just a sin you will have to pay because you violate a law in the land and anytime when you get caught you will have to pay the price. Remember that you cannot kept that forever, and it will bother your conscience so I guess we better solve the problem in a nice way or in a legal way in exact.
If law wont caught you out on the sin or thing you have done then im sure that Karma will be on his way to pay you up on the deed you have done. Scamming is the most dirtiest thing i do consider on which you would fool people in able to solve your problem which is really a selfish thing to do without thinking that those money of other people came from their hardwork and time. Its better to get money on the most possible legal way than on scamming.
1689  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: why altcoins are crashing again ? on: August 21, 2017, 10:56:01 AM
why altcoins are crashing again
?
Crash its price? Well this is just a normal thing and nothing to be surprised of. If there are sellers on a certain coin then prices would normally react on that which would go down. If theres a crash and prices are too low then its the best time to buy or accumulate cheaper coins. Its somehow risky to do since we wont know on when it would pump again. Just take a look on XMR now,its pumping as of now later on we would see bears again when they decide to sell.
1690  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do Trading Works? on: August 21, 2017, 09:33:48 AM
Hi, I would like to know:
What is day trading and how does it differ from trading only?

Thank you.
There are two types of traders which are short and long traders and since you are speaking about day trading then it does mean about short trading on which a certain trader do make trading actively and doesnt put a trade that would last long or he wont let theres a floating trade on his account on which he do open and closes a certain trade on his everyday session.
1691  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is Falling...Is it Panic Time? on: August 20, 2017, 07:33:29 AM
At the moment, bitcoin is very expensive and he has overcome several record marks.
But society is already ready for the fact that soon bitcoin will become cheaper. This is a pattern that always occurs

Thats true, as of now its too expensive to get some bitcoin and will sure correct its price and theres no need to panic because everytime bitcoin falls it will bounce back higher just make your plan on trading and for sure money will come to you.
Whenever I talk about trading I always use these words that being panic and losing patience is not a part of trading. Because it will distract you. And I will totally agree that this is one of the best features of bitcoin that when it falls it comes back higher than ever. Planning and right strategies are the two basic things to be successful in trading field. If its price is low then think it as your golden chance buy more bitcoin to use in future. Just take that time to buy more bitcoin and make strategies rather than being panic.
As a trader and as a experienced investor on bitcoin we would really see this price decrease as a golden opportunity for us to buy more cheaper bitcoin because we do know already on what happen on the past regarding price declines and price increase in bitcoin and as being said it may decrease its price but later on price do rise even more which is really a win-win situation for us if we dont really hesistate to risk on putting up our money on bitcoin.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger of Neo on: August 20, 2017, 06:22:43 AM
Every blockchain or crypto company is risky and dangerous, because we're still in the very early stages. Hence you dont invest more than you're comfy letting go of.
This would be the best advice. Just invest on the amount you can afford to lose up. Just like me i dont care about the background as long i can able to go with the flow with the price hype and make money then it would be fine for me this is why we should really be wise enough on when to get out. Just as been said we are just on early stages and worrying too much wont really give you a good thing.
1693  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Cash is better than Bitcoin. on: August 20, 2017, 04:48:24 AM
What are the reasons, why people use Cash or Credit Cards / ATM / Banks?

* Work offline 100%
* No fees.
* Accepted for Food Shopping & Micropayments
* 0 confermations time
* 0 exchange risks
* anyone is able to understanding of the value of payment
Why would compare the traditional fiat currency to bitcoin? Yes it does really have those capabilities since we are using it for how may decades or centuries as of now. Local Fiat do really work on that way but there are some things that bitcoin do have the edge like on price appreciations which we cant really see on local fiat. Price volatility its a disadvantage for some but this thing is why most liked by investors and traders since they can able to make money on it.
1694  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the Point of ICO Escrow? on: August 17, 2017, 05:48:54 PM
So if I would like to Launch an ICO, does it make sense to use a reliable escrow service
or would you say it doesn't matter?

Frankly speaking, I will have more confidence if the ICO has a reliable escrow and funds are released to the development team when each milestones are made. This is usually what I look out for in the white paper.
Good point and these kind of indications which would really make you tell that the project is good and as you said i do have trust and confidence if the funds are being escrowed than on those project who arent using this kind of service since they can anytime ran off with the funds and this is the start on why there are some ICO's do become scam in the end because of such behavior stealing funds since its not being escrowed.
1695  Economy / Economics / Re: Stock market vs. Bitcoin??? on: August 17, 2017, 04:26:15 PM
Hi traders!
Does somebody here do trading in stock market and also trading in bitcoin? Which is more profitable and safe?
Thanks ahead!
Safe? Theres no safe between on the two but if we do speak on the risk involved on both things i would say crypto trading would be more risky than on stocks since its price do fluctuates more than on stocks knowing that those stock prices move on slow pace which means we are just gradually losing money unlike on crpyto which we would anytime to blown up our bankroll depending on how the coin moves.
1696  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What's causing ADEX to rise? on: August 17, 2017, 03:41:39 PM
I only put in $100 but holy shit. Wish I dropped more (as usual with every coin i get into lol)

price increase from (below) 18800 to 32000 just today. I believe it was around 15500 earlier today. I bought at 18800 and was going to sell off at 37000, but fk it. HOLDING. I think this will take a similar route as Neo and Gas due to their direct association

Where do you think this price will head in the next couple days and what news caused this increase?
These kind of assumptions cant really be avoided and honestly speaking im one of those people who do promote Adex back in the past on where i did earn and sold all of them on 6k sats which its really a stupid decision and i didnt really expect for its price to rose up like this.Im not really wrong on thinking that this project do have a potential and also the factor do affect its price since its been part of NEO. I think its going together with the hype. Selling out your coins would really depend on you.
1697  Economy / Securities / Re: How do you decide which ICO to invest in? on: August 16, 2017, 02:02:28 PM
I evaluate the overall value of particular ICO by stage of development and try to select ICOs which are backed up by at least something in addition to promises

If you invest in a different I see Ico at the price starts to drop after a Time you are less likely to get actively involved when you don't care about the coin the coin for the Ico is something that you feel strongly about.

The good strategy on ICO's is to buy when the coin has been dumped by bounty hunters since you can expect that the price would go down hardly enough. And this time its better to accumulate more cheap coins and sold it when the time pumps. But we should be careful enough upon selecting those ICO coins since some of them are so shit that no future to be lift up by its own dev.
This is the risk and it would really depend on you if you would able to take that or not. As being said the best time to buy coins is that after the bounty hunters have dumped their coins that they gain on the campaign.
Theres only two ways either those coins would pump again back to its ico price or higher or would dump hard as low as it can. We wont really know if a project and dev behind it would have the plan to step up his own project or not.
1698  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I love and hate altcoins on: August 16, 2017, 12:43:53 PM
Lol everyone loves it if the pruce goes higher and we hate it if it goes down. Personally, i love all the coins that i have now and i put my trust on it that one day it will all pump just like BTC.

Yeah of course we should trust our coins so they can give us a good profit. Grin
I love all of them and I know one day they will pump hard and let me taste the sweetness of moon.
Even there's dump I'm pretty sure it will recover sooner.
Once we bought a particular coin we would really have the hope and believe on it for sure and seeing somehow the possible things that it would give us later on. If you do hate altcoin then you wont really buy at all on the very first place. Sometimes we can say such thing if we do see that the coin we do bought didnt even give a sign of movement which is somehow frustrating but hodling them for longer runs would might possible give a pay off.
1699  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Ever regretted not gambling? on: August 15, 2017, 03:19:37 PM
The question is quite simple one, have you ever regretted not gambling on an occasion? Like football matches etc, where you had a gut feeling of a team wining but you didn't bet? This happened with me in the recent el classico, i had a gut feeling of Real Madrid winning 3-1 but i just didn't bet. Smdh
There are really times that i do miss opportunities to have winning bets or making money out of my intuition and also when i do see a particular match up and able to identify which is more stronger sometimes my mind would already make such decisions on who would gonna eventually win in the end of the game and i know that you know what i mean. Analysis is already there but there are times on which we cant able to bet and later on we do find out that our prediction was right which would really make us to regret in the end.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you consider yourself as experienced traders? on: August 15, 2017, 01:21:26 PM
in case you do. I'm building in the last few months a tool that will help cryptocurrency traders in this crazy big market:).
the tool will collect data from all around the web and summarize it in a beautifully simple way in real time.

I'm looking for people that will test my google chrome extension widget and give me feedback. In the next few days, i will release the first version and I'm looking for cool people that want to take apart of something that will help them as traders but also for the cryptocurrency community!

If you're interested let me know here, or pm me:)
Google Chrome extension widget? How this thing would able to help out to learn up on doing trading. If its a tool that you said that collect data all around the web,its amazing knowing that there are lots of information about trading throughout the net and compiling them on a single tool is somehow not possible to think off. Im wondering  what is this project? I would keep an eye on this thread.
