1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: NFT Project on: March 29, 2022, 05:14:28 PM
I want to invest in NFT's and Everyone can vote for what they think is the most promising project. Maybe this helps others

I wouldn't recommend you to invest in NFT.  These are super risky and it literally makes no sense to invest in NFT unless you have in-depth understanding of the market. It's a pump and dump game and a great toll of money laundering. So prefer to stay out of it and don't decide based on a community vote.

Rathe4 try playing some games and earn tokens through Sandbox or decentraland. There you still have a little chance to make money.
1682  Economy / Economics / Re: Government backed digital currency may lead in dystopian society on: March 29, 2022, 03:35:53 PM
Yes that can very well be the case, at least financial matters. Governments are understanding the huge potential of digital currencies because it's cost effective for them and it is easier for them to catch the financial criminals. And to stop any kind of illegal financial activity.

Cash still has certain degrees of anonymity but with digital fiat, everything can be seen and tracked by the government. Tax evasion will become next to impossible.
1683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Change the Code, Not the Climate" FUD campaign coming next month on: March 29, 2022, 11:16:05 AM
Goodluck convincing the community that's pretty much the biggest PoS critics, to hardfork their chain into the thing they're most critical about lmao. It's like convincing Snoop Dogg to stop smoking weed.

That's not their intention for sure. They certainly don't want to convince the crypto community or the bitcoin miners. They want to create a an opinion among the common mass who doesn't have much idea about bitcoin. It's easier to create a perspective in your kind, when you don't have an in-depth idea of the main concept. It's a psychological game they want to play.

I wonder who are funding such FUD campaigns from behind! I won't be surprised if I see some banker's name there!
1684  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia to legalize Crypto Mining Soon on: March 29, 2022, 05:30:15 AM
I feel pity about Russian government. Russia was always negative about cryptocurrency and its legislation. Now when they are getting cut off from the world due to various international bans and sanctions, they are finding cryptocurrency can save them from such situations.

This is nonsense! Russia is learning the hard way that cryptos can indeed help their economy in case of an isolation. I hope this incident will put some sense on other governments who are opposing the inclusion of cryptocurrency in their economy.
1685  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto.com as Sponsor's for FIFA World Cup on: March 29, 2022, 04:51:55 AM
Crypto.com is making some big moves, FIFA world cup is one the biggest sporting events, I wonder why other big exchanges don't invest their money in something as big as this even though they are ranked better than crypto.com, anyways it still is a big move for crypto space in general to get more attraction, this year could be massive for crypto.

Get the facts right. Crypto.com is not sponsoring the Qatar Fifa world cup. At the final bid, an Indian company Byju's has taken over for sponsorship.

https://m.jagranjosh.com/current-affairs/byjus-becomes-official-sponsor-of-fifa-world-cup-2022-1648187016-1

The sponsorship value is almost 40 million usd. I personally wanted crypto.com to get the sponsorship because it would have given a great push to the crypto market. But unfortunately they couldn't do it.
1686  Local / India / Re: Indian Govt recovered 95.86 Crore from 11 Crypto Exchanges for GST Evasion on: March 28, 2022, 05:52:45 PM
It's very unfortunate and shows how pathetic these government people can be. Firstly crypto was not even a recognized asset class in India so there was no GST classification available at the first place. Even till today, crypto doesn't have a legal classification.

So how on earth the exchanges will charge GST from their customers? If they had charged GST before this incident, that could have been classified as an act of fraud. The future of crypto is very dull in India with its dull government and pathetic people.
1687  Economy / Economics / Re: Monetary fascism in today's world(EU as case study) on: March 28, 2022, 05:15:34 PM
Many people are not in support of crypto adoption and this apathy is stemmed from the belief that it is not trustworthy and it can be used to defraud people. Using the vehement stance of György Matolcsy( Hungarian Central Bank Governor) as an instance; he feels crypto should not be even considered, as it could be used by some members of the EU to fund illegal businesses.
But I think it only seems as if the EU wants to control the finance of individuals by imposing taxes but since crypto does not allow for imposition of taxes, they move to outlaw or ban it. Is he just being a fascist or are is fears founded?? https://www.outlookindia.com/business/hungary-calls-for-total-crypto-ban-in-eu-uber-open-to-crypto-adoption-market-crashes-by-10--news-122319

It's not just EU, rather a lot of other countries from other continents share the same feelings about cryptocurrency. If you look from the perspective of a government, it will make sense to you. If crypto adoption starts gaining traction, the entire banking system will see no takers for their services. That's why legislators are vocal against it. I have not seen any central bank except Japan, adopted cryptocurrency or even welcomed it.

It's the fear of loosing relevance. It's the desire of maintaining control on financial matters by the government. These are the typical natures of any government of the world. So you can expect heavier regulations coming from many countries within next 1-2 years on cryptocurrencies.
1688  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: The EU May Vote to Ban Anonymous Crypto Payments on: March 28, 2022, 03:12:49 PM
All CEX doing business in EU will be impacted if this draft is voted as a law. A full kyc will be mandated and people won't be able to use CEX without identifying themselves. That's a big blow to the cryptos in general.

However, it is very difficult to track every single transactions and identify its origin. So even if it becomes a law, there's very little chance that the administration will be able to identify the transaction unless it is done through a EU based CEX. It's easier said than done!
1689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: This is going to be bad for the Indian Bitcoin community on: March 27, 2022, 05:28:49 PM
I am wondering how the government will handle non-custodial wallets transactions and DEX trade. And 30% Tax with 1% of transactions is quite ridiculous. It would apply only to Indian exchange, and likely India would notice all the exchanges as well. This will drive the trade of cryptocurrency in the black market in India. The rules look like discourage citizens from using Bitcoin. And yea, I agree that it's like cryptocurrency killing Misson. Indian government should research more about cryptocurrency and reconsider their decisions about TAX.

They do not have a plan to track DEX trades. The only way they can get the trading data is through the Indian exchanges running from Indian soil. It has been made mandatory for all users to complete full KYC and every single data to be transmitted to the government and Income tax department. That's why I was always very vocal against using India crypto exchanges. You would have no privacy on your crypto holding.

I don't think Indian government would reconsider this tax. Because the Finance ministry is seeing huge pressure from the banking lobby to completely ban cryptocurrencies in India. We all were expecting the same but never though that they will come up with 30% tax and no loss offset. They will probably wait for one or two years to see how much tax crypto is generating before taking a final decision on banning it! I mean, that's what we can expect from a regressive government!
1690  Economy / Economics / Re: Inflation is trick for average joe but financial people know truth on: March 18, 2022, 03:38:23 PM
It's nice to read your conspiracy theory but it's doesn't really ring a bell! You have to understand that everything is connected in a mainstream economy. So if common people like you and me run out of money, everything else within the economy will suffer. It's a chain reaction really!

When people have money, they buy things and when they buy things, manufacturers produce those things. To produce those things, manufacturers need employees so they create job opportunities. When employees get paid, they start buying things which in turn creates demand in the market.  Everyone and everything is connected. One part falls out, the entire system will collapse.

Common people will never run out of money. Temporary ups and downs are there but largely it's a lookout of the government to maintain the demand in the market.
1691  Local / India / Re: India Celebrates Festival Of Colors 'HOLI' In The Metaverse on: March 18, 2022, 11:26:41 AM
Lol! I didn't realize that TATA can be so dumb to spend money on such nonsense activities rather than an actual promotion. Possibly they are sitting on some serious amount of cash which needed burning for something! This is utter nonsense to be honest.

I believe it is better to give dividend to their shareholders instead of burning cash on metaverse. This entire imaginary world is a hoax and nothing else! Elon Musk has a better word for metaverse - marketing buzzword!
1692  Economy / Economics / Re: Tokenized assets the stocks and commodities gold and others on: March 18, 2022, 06:10:24 AM
There is gold backed coins existing but for example: oil crude oil coin if oil prices going to up its too complex to buy shares on legacy market to hold coin by using crypto is much easier for example i dont need gold much easier and faster is to hold gold coins would be perfect if there will be oil backed coins also and even the electricity.
Also are there any salt coins ??

Nothing that I am aware of! Venezuela president had started an oil backed cryptocurrency called Petro couple of years back and it failed immediately after the launch. We do have gold backed coins in the market as well which are also not doing great! The matter of fact is that, tokenization is not needed for everything. Every single asset doesn't have to be broken down into millions of small token asset so that it makes easier for everyone to hold it. It's not a necessity.

When there is no necessity, such tokens are bound to fail in the market. Crypto market needs consolidation and not bifurcation. This is the only way crypto market would survive the test of time. Tokenizing everything is like a palace built by cards that is too unstable!
1693  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ApeCoin announcement What you think? on: March 18, 2022, 04:11:08 AM
Hello,

I see that Bored Ape Yacht Club announcement they ApeCoin tomorrow.
https://twitter.com/apecoin

What you think about it ?
My opinion is just this is another coin without any value or problem solve. Just pump and dump ...

It will be very similar to the NFT itself. Just hype and total hoax without any real value proposition or utility. That will get listed in pancakeswap where majority of the scam tokens are listed and pump and dump game will begin. Some people will make money and some will loose it. But at the end of the day, no real value will come out of this. The owners of bored ape are millionaires and now they will become billionaires. That's it! Another directionless shitcoin from some clueless owners whose main moto is to fill their own pocket.
1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Btc and crypto offline transactions on: March 17, 2022, 05:04:14 PM
So here is solution
Btc and crypto wallets have offline transactions system.
So they not relied on the global general publiick internet.
If anything happens with internet they can be still used.
And to maintane this independent network the very small fee will be detucted out of each transactions.

The independent network could be some boxes around the globe wich working with radio-signale completely independent of the general global internet

Anything that can relay data from one place to another, can be used for bitcoin transactions. However, I don't think we yet have a wallet available for such transactions. This is pretty much standing at experimentation stage. I know radio frequency has been successfully used to relay bitcoin transactions earlier but again we don't have a solution available for the common mass because this is impossible to scale.
1695  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin becomes priority alternative when cash fails on: March 17, 2022, 11:14:00 AM
This is a country specific matter due to which there is an influx of bitcoin purchase transactions. But if I try to find out the same trend worldwide, I don't see any credible source of information that says bitcoin has become the world's favorite reserve currency for individuals.

Nope! Bitcoin has not yet reached that level. The capital protection leader is still gold and other precious metals. There's no proof that majority of the population is buying bitcoin for the unforeseen emergencies. What's happening in Ukraine, is an exception!
1696  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ukraine passed law to Legalize Bitcoin what does it mean for Bitcoin? on: March 17, 2022, 06:00:55 AM
I wonder why Ukraine did it now amidst a war with Russia! They could have done it earlier considering they house some significant crypto mining operations within their country limits. Possibly the leadership is now able to understand the benefits of legalizing a trustless and intermediary free monetary system and hence doing it. It's a late realization but a good realization at the end of the day. But now they have signed a treaty to connect with EU nations, I don't know how long they will be able to stick to their decision of legalizing it, especially when EU talks about banning POW algorithm. Once their EU membership is confirmed, they will have no choice but to submit to EU legislation.
1697  Economy / Gambling / Re: Blockchain Casinos - Consumer's Choice! on: March 17, 2022, 04:03:40 AM
How come bitstarz made to your list and not betcoin.ag or bustabit? The list itself is not bad but some modifications are really needed. This crypto gambling market is very dynamic and situation changes with a very short time. So it's better to keep them up to date just to ensure your credibility as an information provider. because at the end of the day your website is casino review website and it's very easy to loose credibility in this market.
1698  Economy / Economics / Re: US warns India over oil deal with Russia on: March 16, 2022, 03:37:14 PM
Does it matter? Many European countries are still buying from Russia. So what's the problem with India? It's hilarious to see when US speaks such non sense because they are the only country who are responsible for the most number of wars in the history of humankind.

Indians didn't forget 1971 war when Bangladesh was liberated from the hold of Pakistan by Indian forces. The entire world was against India except Russia. Russian submarines were present at the warfield by the request of Indian Prime minister Indira Gandhi. Take a little history lesson and you will understand why India refrained from voting against Russia in UN.
1699  Economy / Economics / Re: Digital Dollar:Software controlled money which expires ! Spend it or loose it! on: March 16, 2022, 06:36:06 AM
OP has to understand that CBDC has a significant advantage over the fiat money and that's how every government in the world will eventually adopt this proposition of slowly de-circulate the fiat money. But it's definitely not a win-win situation for all! because the end consumers like us will have significant disadvantages if all fiat are de-circulated. How would you earn black money? How would you not pay taxes? These are main questions from the end consumers and that's where the government is planning to hit hard!

So like it or not, CBDC will take over fiat in next few years. Not only US, but other countries with decent internet infrastructure will also opt for it. It will make money laundering impossible. It will make you pay your taxes on every income earned. It's a disadvantage because fiat still has a certain degree of anonymity which CBDC won't offer. Anything and everything will be visible to the government and any black money circulation can be quickly tracked. Any financial fraud will become next to impossible and even if it happens, the recovery will be quicker. Banks won't have to maintain an extensive ATM infrastructure. These are just few benefits to the government among others.
1700  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Paraguay achieve the status of global crypto hub?? on: March 16, 2022, 05:15:55 AM
Did El-Salvador became the global crypto hub despite adding bitcoin as a legal tender within their country? Nope! I don't see Paraguay as well in the league. Especially when a presidential candidate is only has a feeling for it. Nothing has been materialized yet. So in order to get it materialized, a long way has to be covered.

With the new presidential executive order recently passed in US, I see US becoming the global hub for crypto. The chances are much higher for US considering the availability of funds and talents and a positive atmosphere to start a business.
