Hatred sensing i am..
Relax everyone.. if you are so eager for an update just call Ken and ask him.. Ranting on this forum wont be getting you your shares.. correct??   Sad

If he is too busy to spend 1 minute making an update here, then how could he possibly not be too busy to answer multiple peoples phone calls?
1702  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 31, 2013, 08:51:41 PM
This clown doesn't even have a phone and he's complaining about improper communication?  He shouldn't even be playing this game..
or maybe he's just too shy to call?
Do you want daddy to do it for you?   Tongue

This may come as a surprise to you, but plenty of people in this world don't have phones. And what if I am too shy to call?

Why should I have to go out of my way to perform all this nonsense when Ken can just post a fucking update in a matter of seconds. It's his responsibility to his investors to do what he says he will do and keep them informed when he can't. Not mine you fucking imbecile.
1703  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 31, 2013, 08:34:40 PM
If I don't get my shares or an explanation today, I'll be putting in a complaint to Ukyo.

Cry me a river, fuckhead.  I have shares waiting to be tendered too, no reason to get Ukyo involved.  You really want him to fuck up the market again?  That was wrong of Ukyo to do last time and would be wrong of him to interfere again this time.  Relax!

Ken said we would have our shares yesterday. We did not get our shares yesterday, nor did we get any explanation as to why. We still have had neither. If you don't think it cause for concern that the CEO of the company you are investing in is telling lies and simply not doing what he said he would do, then you're a idiot.

Ken has now had plenty of opportunity to either send the shares like he said he would or provide an explanation as to why he hasn't. He's been online and active on the forum both yesterday and today, therefore he is purposefully choosing to ignore this issue. The only other option is to kick it up to Ukyo, which as I said is not something I want to do, but I will if I have to.

Have you tried giving the guy a call?  By the sounds of it he will even risk his life to answer his calls while he's driving, so it sounds to me like he will probably respond to your concern.  Just because he doesn't post in an internet thread all the time doesn't mean this isn't possible.  Pick up your phone and call him.

I haven't got a phone.

Give it a break Mr Pitbul.   Not everything is black and white.  You organised a nice little schedule of profit making.  Great.  It didn't work out for you. Shame.  But you of all people should have factored in the tender delays that many have reported. Get over it.

Actually, it did work out for me. I made a nice profit. I just expected Ken to do what he said he would do, when he said he would do it. If he did, then I would have had the opportunity to make even more profit.

Is it Ken's job to stop me from making a profit?
Is it Ken's job to do what he says he is going to do with regards to ActM?

Mabsark.. Relax brother.. hes busy.. and many many people havnt received their shares.. so just sit tight i know this is a golden opportunity.. See now theres a problem on BTCT and the BTC transferred before the Blackout have dissappeared.. now that is a true tragedy.. so be calm.. evrything will work out just fine..

That's not how bitcoin works. It's all on the blockchain, so that BTC will show up once the site is back online.
1707  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 31, 2013, 07:06:59 PM
Listen Mab. I'm sure your a nice guy.  But honestly you are wrong on this one. Your demands ARE unreasonable.   Take a break and reasees when you have time.

How on earth is it unreasonable for me to expect Ken to do what he said he would do, when he said he would do it? How is it unreasonable for me to expect an explanation as to why? If that's unreasonable, then it must also be unreasonable for me to expect Ken to pay the NRE when he says he will. You can't have it both ways.

1708  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 31, 2013, 07:00:20 PM
So, you think I should wait as long as you just because you fucked up? That business Ken went to sort has been sorted. He was supposed to transferring shares yesterday. His words, not mine.

Hold on, you have no idea what Ken's doing and you certainly don't know that it's sorted or that he has any time free.

Ken's job is to make shareholders a profit through dividends and long term share price, not what you're talking about. He's come in for shit for some things, some quite rightly too, but I'm going to defend him to the hilt on this one.

I suggest you walk away from your computer for the evening and calm down.

I know what he should have been doing yesterday because he told us here that he would be transferring shares.

This is why I'm complaining. He specifically said he would be doing the transfers yesterday, never did any of them, and provided no explanation. If he had no intention of doing them, he shouldn't have made that comment. If unforeseen circumstances stopped him, then he should have provided an update to let us know. He had the time to provide us with an update to confirm he had a beer with an engineer on the week end.
1709  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 31, 2013, 06:49:47 PM
Yep. Behaviour is sellfish.  My tender took well over a week.  No tears here for missing out on divs.

Please be more patient and understanding.

If Ken dedicates all of his time on these tenders, how are any of us to benefit?

So, because you got screwed over by Ken, you think everyone else should? Also, I couldn't care less about the divs, they're insignificant. What I do care about is Ken telling lies. He said he was going to do something and never did it. He has provided no explanation as to why.

Should you care that I've lost out on the opportunity to make a lot of profit? No, you shouldn't but I most certainly should. You're damn right I'm being selfish, I'm not donating to a charity here, I'm investing in a company to make profit.

What an awful admittance.  I demand someone to act honourably although publicly show my behaviour to be non compliant.

You're damn right I expect the owner of the company I'm investing in to act honourably. Does you think a single person hear expects or wants Ken to act dishonourably What the hell are you smoking? Also, me acting selfishly does not mean that I am acting dishonourably, it simply mean that I'm acting in my own best interests, which I'm sure a lot of people will agree with here.
1710  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 31, 2013, 06:45:04 PM
Well, I feel like I've been lied to and cheated out of the opportunity to make a nice profit due to Kens inaction. If I don't get my shares or an explanation today, I'll be putting in a complaint to Ukyo. I don't think he'll be too happy in having to sort Ken's mess out again. I don't really want to do that as it could harm ActM, but if that's what it takes to get Ken to stick to his word, so be it.

He's been online today and there's still been no response or shares sent my way. That's the definition of "taking the piss".

Mabsark, I'm sorry mate but you're coming across as someone who tried to make a profit by tendering and has got caught out, then blames the tenderer for not allowing you to make a profit. This is not his job and nor was it ever the point of the tender.

There was never any guarantee of timescales for tendering and it wasn't set up to help traders profit in the short term. Ken also didn't guarantee he would do the transfers yesterday so stop making out that he did. He told Streets he would try and take care of it but he was away from the office and travelling. The guy is clearly insanely busy.

The fact that he popped online is not the definition of taking the piss at all. He may have important messages for one thing!

Now I know you must be frustrated but if you're going to take a day trade risk like that then you should understand what the risk is and not bitch about it. I have shares awaiting transfer and I'm not bitching. It's not brilliant but it's fine as long as I know they'll be done in the next few days.

I've always known that playing with AMC vs ActiveMining came with a timing risk. So did you.

That's exactly what I did. And if Ken never said he would transfer the shares yesterday or provided an explanation as to why he never, then like I've said, I wouldn't have a problem. My problem is that Ken has failed to deliver what he said he would, when he said he would, without any explanation why.

Such behaviour does no inspire confidence and coupled with all the missed opportunities, it's left me really pissed with Ken.

Like I keep saying, is it too much to ask for Ken to take a minute out from whatever he's doing to provide a brief explanation. He's been active on the forum so he's likely seen this discussion and the PM I sent. His behaviour is simply unprofessional.

1711  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 31, 2013, 06:34:39 PM

Didn't get screwed over by Ken.  I made a syntax error and he kindly PM'd me explaining what Id done wrong.  After that he went off on business. Something about a million dollars.  I was patient.  It worked.

So, you think I should wait as long as you just because you fucked up? That business Ken went to sort has been sorted. He was supposed to transferring shares yesterday. His words, not mine.
1712  Economy / Securities / Re: [ActiveMining] The Official Active Mining Discussion Thread on: July 31, 2013, 06:32:35 PM
Stop adding all these quotes please.

So what if ken said x and did y.  He will have tried to honour x but he's only human ffs.

Get off his case let him work on our business not your silly missed opportunity.

The quotes are how people know what is being discussed.

If Ken said he was going to pay the NRE and ran off to Mexico, are you saying you wouldn't have a problem with that? As far as I can tell, nobody received any shares back from Ken yesterday. That's not trying to honour x, that's completely ignoring x. It is his business to transfer our shares, so try thinking before you speak.

Regarding shares transfer from AMC to ActM : I got em in 48 hours, and the reason for delays, I believe, is that CEO is busy with eASIC on details.

I've been waiting since Saturday. I understoodd there would be delays but Ken posted the following update (before going to sleep judging by the time):

"I will be working on getting all the transfers completed tomorrow."

That was 27 hours ago. In the past 24 hours, I've watched the share price bounce up and down, unable to do anything but watch.

I'm really pissed off with Ken over this. He has failed to do what he said he was going to do yesterday and because of that, I've missed out on the opportunity to profit. I've asked here for an explanation and been ignored. I've asked in a PM for an explanation and been ignored. This is no way to treat investors and he needs to get his shit together.

Lewicki posted earlier saying that Ken was on the way to talk to engineers for the Avalon clones, Ken has been in and out of meetings and travelling.
He isnt a superhuman. He will get to your shares in time.

Lewiki made no such post so I don't know why you are saying he did. Also, I'm not expecting ken to be superhuman and I'm not expecting anything unreasonable from him. I'm simply expecting him to do what he said he would do and failing that, to provide an update as to why he couldn't stick to his word.

And don't tell me what Ken is and isn't doing. You have no idea what he's doing so don't pretend otherwise. I keep myself up to date with what's going on and know the same as you do. What ken said he would be doing though, is transferring shares yesterday, which he never did. If he had no intention of doing so, then he shouldn't have said he would.

My apologies, it was Streets2.0 that posted this:

Guys, the 120,000 shares were mine.  I made a deal with Ken.  Because he is so busy, I paid him a VERY  high premium to have my shares transferred from BF to BTCT.  The premium went directly to the company.  I advise everyone with less than 120,000 shares not to do this, as the price was very high and wouldn't be worth it for most shareholders.  I paid him $5000, which went directly to the company.

I did get immediately on the horn and called Kens office.  I was transferred to his cell and asked what was going on with this 120k dump.  It was explained to me that a serious investor had made a deal to him in fiat to transfer those over to Btct.  I guess now as we see that was Volcanic.  When talking to him I could tell he was on the road (can hear the wind), and asked where he was headed to, while apologizing for calling after hours.  He had told me he was on the road to meet with the engineering firm.  I had asked how many hours were left in the drive and he stated 4-5 hours.

Also ken said he would be WORKING ON getting through the transfers. Clearly he didn't finish.

Just a note, I have shares that have been waiting to tender, over 7k in holding, no spasms going on here because it will get done.  No need to freak out yet or lose faith.  A board is something that isnt going to be formed over night or even in two weeks, patience is key fellas!

Well, I feel like I've been lied to and cheated out of the opportunity to make a nice profit due to Kens inaction. You're just whining selfishly. Why should Ken put everything on hold to serve you?

I'm not asking for or expecting special treatment from Ken. Ken is the one who came up with the 24-48 hour transfer period, not me. Ken is the one who said shares would be transferred yesterday, not me. All I wanted was for Ken to stick to his word and transfer my shares back to me when he said he would. He has failed to do what he said he was going to do and I've lost out on some great opportunities because of that.

Am I asking for compensation? No! I'm simply asking for an explanation, yet he can't even be arsed to take 1 minute and provide it. I'm not the only person waiting for share transfers.

Since no solution at this point will be 'perfect' and we are doing the best we can I would like to apologize in advance to anyone that feels that our solution is unfair. As previously mentioned, we had no way of anticipating asset-release time or interest in the IPO.

Just pull the trigger at the stated time, release the entire amount, at the IPO price and let the market decide.

I'll provide a shoulder for anyone to cry on if their feelings got hurt for only 1btc per 5min.

This is the correct answer. Let the market decide what to pay.

And what if someone decided to buy 7,000,000 share at 0.004 BTC? Would you be happy with that? Free markets simply favour the rich and greedy. The cap and percentage idea is by far the fairest so far.
1717  Economy / Securities / Re: [LABCOIN] IPO [BTCT.CO] - Details/FAQ and Discussion (ASIC dev/sales/mining) on: July 31, 2013, 04:39:24 PM
I do not predict this being a problem. At least not on any 'scale' as creating a bunch of sock-puppet accounts 'just in case' seems like quite an undertaking when no solution has been posted yet. Then again, I also didn't predict the asset to be approved in 7 hours or with this interest so maybe I should just stop predicting things...  Sad

Here is what I'd do in your situation:

1) Reset all bids > 0.001 to 0.001
2) Set a cap on the number of shares each person can get
3) After the cap is in place, if it's still over 7mil then scale back orders based on % of orders placed.

Right now there are only about 11m orders placed > 0.001, which means if no new orders come in everyone gets 63% of what they asked for.  With a cap, it should be a pretty big portion of what everyone, except the huge orders, wanted.

+1.

Personally I have to say that I quite like this solution. I will still wait until I can get guidance by Burnside before we make any decision. As previously stated, I just don't feel confident in taking any action by myself.

Higher bid should be filled first, this maybe not perfect, but its efficiency was approved by real stock market in real life.

Your solution seems fair. But you know what, there gonna be a lot new accounts being registered in next few hours, at least I am going to do so.

I know you are trying to do it fairly. But please keep the basic logic of free market in mind. Other idea without think about it only lead to more loopholes.

timestamps. timestamps everywhere. only accounts registered before the time the "Do not move your bids" post was made should get shares.

No they shouldn't. I placed my initial bid last night and increase that bid this morning, after that post was made, yet before I had read it. Why should I lose out? The timestamp idea is simply unworkable due to many people doing the same.

re: Share tendering
It is not there so you can make a profit, it is there in fairness to the original AMC shareholders. If you've tendered shares, they'll be transferred. If you get the email in before the deadline, they'll be done. You can't expect them to be Ken's priority. As a long term shareholder I'm glad they aren't. I've transferred a number of shares fine (and within 48 hours), it's only this weekend's which are taking a while. As Streets posted, Ken is on the road.

As a long time shareholder who initially bought shares at between 0.0005 and 0.0009 BTC and had a hand in it's initial explosive growth through promotion on reddit, don't try and pull that bullshit with me. I can and do expect them to be Ken's priority, because he said they would be transferred yesterday. I expect nothing more from Ken than to do what he said he was going to do.

Streets' posted that Ken was on the road on Monday, not Tuesday. Ken said he would be doing Transfers on Tuesday, yet he hasn't done that and he hasn't provided an explanation as to why. I've still got no shares and there's still been no peep out of Ken as to why.

Ken's priority should be to deliver what he promised as a business which is not all about share tendering and calming people who can't deal with the markets.

Absolutely the AMC shares should be tendered and so far, for the most part, it has been done in 1-3 days of people asking. This is the first time they haven't been.

Ken was on the road *to* somewhere which means yesterday was not spent sat in the office. He probably didn't get done through lack of time. There was no promise to have them all complete yesterday.

What people actually need is to be told a date the remaining tenders will happen on. Regardless of whether Ken is busy or not, we just need information. PM him and ask. If you're desperate for some reason, explain this.

re: Announcements - as has been posted and repeated numerous times now, we need to wait two weeks (from the end of last week).

Like I said, I've already PM'd him and have also posted here. I've had no response to either query. If he would have said that he got delayed and said he would be posting them today, then I would have been fine with that.
