Why has the share-count increased on BTCT.co today?

It's at 3069481, and was previously at about 2950000.

That's roughly 120k new shares sold today.

previously, when?

Guys, the 120,000 shares were mine.  I made a deal with Ken.  Because he is so busy, I paid him a VERY  high premium to have my shares transferred from BF to BTCT.  The premium went directly to the company.  I advise everyone with less than 120,000 shares not to do this, as the price was very high and wouldn't be worth it for most shareholders.  I paid him $5000, which went directly to the company.

Hm.. okay.

But I'm not sure I like that though. The spread between exchanges was so large today, that's a potential $20-30k profit.

I, too, would like the privilege of transferring between exchanges. I'm sure we all wouldn't mind paying the company a high percentage fee for such abilities. But that's not an option that was offered to us, was it?

Not in a recession alright, but governments and banks tend to really dislike BTC. Anyone read the news today? Thailand officially banned all Bitcoin transactions. Not a good sign...

Only because there are no laws covering it, and only until such time as they make laws to cover it.
I dont see it as a bad sign at all.

Sold a couple of shares at .009 on BTC-TC and now I'm transfering my BTCs to Bitfunder... Let's see if I can get some cheap shares. How long does manual withdrawing usually takes?

You WILL be able to transfer between exchanges for FREE once the dust settles and Ken isn't so busy.  I paid the premium to have it done NOW.  I'm sure most shareholders would appreciate that Ken did this for me, as you guys just made $5000 off me.

I did get immediately on the horn and called Kens office.  I was transferred to his cell and asked what was going on with this 120k dump.  It was explained to me that a serious investor had made a deal to him in fiat to transfer those over to Btct.  I guess now as we see that was Volcanic.  When talking to him I could tell he was on the road (can hear the wind), and asked where he was headed to, while apologizing for calling after hours.  He had told me he was on the road to meet with the engineering firm.  I had asked how many hours were left in the drive and he stated 4-5 hours.

Unless you gain some sort of anonimity, perhaps more than that will be made of you.  Merely advice.  You have exposed yourself.
