1711  Other / Off-topic / Re: Another Reason Why I Don't Use Hotmail Anymore on: April 23, 2014, 02:18:58 PM
A lot of people do, so don't beat yourself up about it. There are a lot of reasons not to, for example, if you know a password has been compromised, you don't have to change it in a dozen different places. Most importantly though, you don't want to put your email's (or even worse, bank's) security in a 3rd party's (like a job site) hands.
1712  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can anyone claim that their religion is moral? on: April 23, 2014, 02:11:45 PM
People claim religion is morality because they confuse prescription with description. people are moral because of their god/religion/holy book instead of realizing they are moral, and it just so happens that their god/religion/holy book partially agrees with them.
1713  Other / Off-topic / Re: How can anyone claim that their religion is moral? on: April 23, 2014, 01:23:59 PM
I am religious but i follow no church or no specific religion. ALL religions have blood and greed on their hands and as 1 user pointed out it's about control.

Be a good person and treat others well in life and in doing so when your time comes only then will you know.

How can you be religious that way? I don't get it really. And  I don't think buddhism is violent at all. Not that I am buddhist, maybe they kill people ;x. But I agree that all we need is just good people.
He can be religious ,it matters his heart and his actions not if he goes everyday at church or not .And lets not talk about violence.....millions of people died during the centuries  in the name of the religions
1714  Other / Off-topic / Re: Where do billionaires keep their money? on: April 23, 2014, 01:07:13 PM
They would have most of their money in investments and assets. You can't quite give an exact net worth since the stock market is constantly changing and land values change over time as well. I'm no expert on this but I'd say that most of their money is tied into non-monetary assets. This would include land, companies, and things like hedge funds or stocks and bonds
1715  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What's wrong with eating meat? on: April 23, 2014, 12:46:11 PM
I've been a vegetarian for about a year. As a previous meat eater, its so hard to pass up your cheeseburgers, pepperoni pizza, etc... Today I can safely say I no longer crave any red meat, although I still struggle with ham sandwiches. Still all it takes is the willpower to eating better, felling better, and just knowing your healthier - but not only that, I have contributed with helping the planet out.
1716  Other / Off-topic / Re: How, in the end, do you think the world will end? on: April 23, 2014, 11:59:34 AM
I am not one to dismiss the beliefs of other regardless of whether I agree, but I do understand one thing for sure. Eventually the ability to maintain life on the planet Earth will dwindle and disappear altogether, and only if we can cast of the petty self-centered ideology that our species has so easily clung to, can we find salvation. If we hope to propel our existence into the boundless future we must cooperate on a global level in achieving more then just a bit of space exploration. We must eventually fling the remnants of our entire being into the "final frontier". I may not see the day and most likely none of you will either, but it is my deepest hope that our world becomes abandoned like so many nests after their baby birds take flight to see something far more expansive, beautiful, finite then we have ever come close to comprehending before. Its a big universe out there and it tantalizes myself at least with the majesty of discoveries that likely await.
1717  Other / Politics & Society / Re: What is freedom? on: April 23, 2014, 09:45:01 AM
I think freedom is comparative not absolute. I think it's obeying the laws and not violating other people's freedom first.
