1701  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 28, 2022, 06:54:05 PM
Of course, for now Tatum is untouchable, and we can see that Boston want's him to be the franchise player. And then know that even if they were able to acquire Durant, for sure he will not stay that long for them, maybe max is 3 years.

The leverage though might be too much for Boston, Brown and Smart and then multiple picks. So I don't see the Boston Celtics to just let go of their two stars with future picks. But good move on the part of the Nets, and see if Celtics are willing to strike that deal.

If Boston will take that deal, it's a best trade for the Nets. Smart and Brown are both promising stars that have good futures from the league,

letting Durant go for these two and with the two future picks would really favor them. Not sure how Boston will take this one and if they

are really interested and make it happen. Another question is on how KD and JT will jive and blend their games. Oh well, that's how the league

works now, trades and switch teams is a business not a career concern now.. Wink
Hopefully the Celtics will wake up that they should not bite and strike the deal including Brown and Smart because that will really put them a year of setbacks. They've already managed to establish a good chemistry and the players can play good in offense and defense in the same time.

Letting go of Smart and Brown while adding Durant in the loop won't help the team because Tatum will struggle for sure because Durant will be the Alpha. The Celtics will be destroyed and will have the same situation next year where Durant will request a trade because he ain't going to sit in a team who won't give him a ring especially now that he's growing old.

And it take years for Tatum to really blend with Smart and Brown, so this might be the case with Durant as well and by the time that Durant and Tatum have the chemistry it might be too late already. And then the injuries and age factor on Durant, he is 34 if I'm not mistaken, lot of wear and tear and now very prone to injuries. So by chance he gets injured again playing with Boston, Taatum will be having a hard time carrying the load for them.

And Tatum will be struggling more carrying the load because Smart and Brown is not around anymore to help him carry and ease the burden. Durant is no doubt effective in court and he can produce good numbers as long as he's healthy but he is now more prone to injuries as his age figures adds up. Boston is already a heavy team even without Durant, and they have managed to sweep the Nets in the 1st round. They need to add more assets to the team though especially now that the current roster has established the right chemistry needed to destroy any teams that they will face and now they are much experienced than the last season.
1702  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 28, 2022, 05:35:45 PM
I did try to look for Campa's highlights, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYpUKfIY0hA

Could be a good match as both is brawler, however, this is the fight that Lopez excel, maybe except for the Kambosos fight as obviously, he already lost this one. So if they brawl in this fight, I think Lopez will still come up and maybe score a big KO win. Just a couple of weeks from know and we will see how Lopez is, if he adjusted to this division and didn't lose any of his power going up in weight.

Lopez is well motivated and dedicated as we have seen on his previous match with Kambosos. I hope Kambosos would stop asking for a rematch becase obviously, Lopez really beat him down. Campa is also aggressive in the ring so this will be an exciting match but my bet still goes so Lopez. I'm more convinced that Lopez could possibly win by KO.
Lopez to win by KO against Campa is indeed possible considering his KO ratio is pretty impressive, and actually it's smart to bet Lopez by KO rather than the decision bet because the odds in decision is pretty low compared to win by KO.

Honestly, I'm not that convinced that he was defeated comfortably by Kambosos last time. If these two will have a rematch soon, I'll go for Lopez for sure but before that, let's watch this interesting fight first.
1703  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 27, 2022, 03:24:37 PM
Spence is not an ordinary boxer, they have almost the same ranking, so he will not take it easy and will make sure he has some strategy that Spence could not counter.

On the other hand, expect Crawford to have some prepared strategies to counter Spence too.

Again, as I mentioned, it's about the good timing to execute their respective strategies. If successfully executed, that's a big advantage already as it will take a heavy toll on their opponent. And if one of them will continue to land a perfect blow, that will result in a possible KO win at either of them.

But for me, since they are currently the no. 1 and 2 at the Welterweight division right now, I'm expecting that they won't just play defense all throughout and care for the points per round. I want to see them challenging each other in close combat while saying "I'm the strongest!".

Indeed! That is why this is the most anticipated fight for years and the fight will be sold out in just a mere hour or minutes after it is published. I'm also siding with Crawford on this fight, I mean, he won't be this determined to get with Spence if he knew that his capabilities won't amount if he will fight Spence. The thing that he's taking all the effort to make the fight happen is a sign that he got this fight before his age catches up with him.
1704  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 26, 2022, 08:16:27 PM
I probably will go for Golovkin he has not been dominated or badly hurt by any of his opponents, just recently Canelo was dominated at some point hurt by Bivol he was totally exposed, and once you are exposed your future opponents will look and try to exploit that weakness.

Golovkin has something to look for and work out, Bivol exposed Canelo's weakness, Canelo cannot look for Golovkin's weakness because after their last fight he just gets better, as you can see the way he intimidates Golovkin, he's trying to impose himself for the first time in his opponent.
Nonsense, before Canelo lost against Bivol, he already lost against Mayweather. This mean he already got exposed and GGG should won since he was fought 2 times after Canelo's lost, but why did GGG didn't won? Many people said Canelo is too young to fight Mayweather, but having a win streak for 43 fights and defended his belt for many times aren't that young, everyone should realize Mayweather won over Canelo's prime.

Mayweather won against Canelo since he landed more punch and evade many Canelo's punch.
Bivol won against Canelo since he landed more punch and he protect many Caleno's punch with his both hands.

GGG box style aren't similar like Mayweather and Bivol who have beaten Canelo.

Agreed! Canelo is not that young anymore when he fought Mayweather and it wasn't his 1st time fighting a heavy name that time or 1st time fighting outside Mexico, people should stop patronizing Canelo because he's not really standing where he is now if he didn't got some help with the judges along with some connection he established in the industry.

Canelo was so frustrated on his first loss and that forced him to make a move how to counter if he will encounter a boxer again who have the same style of Mayweather and the popular Philly Shell or known as shoulder roll.
1705  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling on Psychology & Sociology Perspectives. on: July 26, 2022, 07:16:33 PM
I'm wondering how gambling makes one get rid of bad luck? These Chinese believe in everything that is without logic, but in the end, there is no question with people's beliefs, if they believe in such things we can only look and shut up and wish them good luck. gambling are divided into gambling based on luck and gambling based on strategies, and even in gambling based on luck math comes in, making people not only depend on luck

But even gambling based on strategies are still kind of relying on the factor of luck because there will be some time that even we analyze it carefully about what would be the nearest outcome, we still see ourselves in the defeated side because an upset is always around the corner. But that's not often, and will usually happen when we didn't expected it the most.

But there's no such tool or thing that will help us get rid of bad luck, even Chinese Feng Shui or lucky zodiac signs or whatever it is called is not guaranteed and proven that you can get rid of the bad luck. It's just a man made tool where it's a business for a lot of Chinese people.

1707  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 25, 2022, 02:59:41 PM
I'll just go with the higher reward  Grin and it isn't bad as a bet since Campa has a good record even though someone is saying he only fights B-grade boxers but an upset win is real  Grin.  I think this odds will readjust so better put a bet while it is up.

Same here, high reward that could go up to 10+ boosting your odds, I think Campa could pull an upset. Lopez coming from a loss, maybe that would still affect him in this fight and he might struggle again. Watching his fight highlights (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYpUKfIY0hA), this guy could really box and he is very aggressive.

The fight between Kambosos and Lopez was very close, Lopez could still have an undefeated record if he was well prepared in that fight, I mean both physically and mentally. Here, it's a comeback fight though in a heavier weight division, Lopez is still one of the rising young boxers in the sport, so I give him a good edge to win here via TKO or a UD.

I fell on this scam before, not sure if it's the same account but I was really tempted as I'm thinking it was free money, so I send some ETH for the gas in order to withdraw the funds but the ETH that was supposed to be for gas was redirected to other address leaving the account still no ETH for gas.

In short, I was tricked, LOL.
1709  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 25, 2022, 01:02:33 PM

Let's skip for now the discussion about the issue of being "delayed" on any information or updates regarding this fight.

What's your input and feedback guys about Danny Garcia's recent statement that Errol Spence Jr. is too strong for Terence Crawford. When we say "too strong" it means he views the fight as a landslide victory in favor of Spence. I respect his view and even though I'm looking forward to Spence winning at this mega-bout, saying Spence is too much for Crawford is like underestimating the latter.

Errol Spence "too strong" for Terence Crawford says Danny Garcia

I guess if there is one boxer that we can take his opinion, that is Shawn Porter Jr. He has fought both fighters in their prime. And mind you, Porter beat Danny Garcia so we all know what level Danny Garcia is, hehehe.

In any case, if you seen Spence in his last fight against Ugas, yeah he is really strong, he even talks about moving up in 154 lbs wherein I think Crawford can't make that weight without sacrificing anything (speed, height, power). I guess it goes down as to who has the better IQ and good chin in this fight.  Smiley

Spence was strong but Crawford is a more technical boxer than him.

When he fought  Shawn Porter Jr. the decision was a split decision, but when Crawford fought  Shawn Porter Jr., he beat him via KO. I thin we know who is the better fighter but we cannot deny that Spence thought he is the better fighter because he had more belts than Crawford.
1710  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 25, 2022, 12:30:09 PM
^^ I was surprised though about the picks that they are willing just to get Durant.

For me it doesn't make sense to have the many, it's going to be a big risk for the Celtics. Their team is already solid behind Tatum, they have reach the finals already, now they have the experience already. And it's going to be close to suicide if the trade bait is Brown and then those picks, doesn't make sense.

It will make sense if Tatum will decide to be traded and go to another team he like but this will not happen for now since I think Tatum have the same mentality with Kobe which is he want to stick with one team on his career if possible.

But for involving brown on this possible trade maybe this is bit hilarious on their side because they already prove that Brown can fit with their system so this is totally a huge risk for them if they trade the young brown which have more possibilities to dominate more than Durant which his career is almost at the peak.

I believe he will because he is the leader of the team and I believe he will value what the management did for him, he was given a good contract, so he is very motivated to win a championship. The team is still young and so as Tatum, but for sure as they continue to improve their bond, one day they win a championship.
1711  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shiba Inu's future on: July 25, 2022, 11:36:07 AM
Many factors that shiba will be difficult to increase in the future, the main factor is that the coin is still standing on another blockchain and has no utility for the chances of reaching increasing...

Shiba developers are already working on their own blockchain, which should bear the name Shizarium, but they do not name the exact launch date. In addition, one of the developers of Shiba Shytoshi Kusama announced the creation of the SHI stablecoin, which is scheduled to launch at the end of this year. So we see that the work on improving Shiba Inu does not stop.
And I hope everything will be okay and even see positive results as I was also optimistic for this project despite it being called a meme coin.
If this really makes a huge twist in its direction, it gonna say that Shiba Inu had change the image of meme coins and it proves that not all of their kind are worthless. But yes, until it wasn't proven yet, we can't stop people talking negatively and to give doubt of its credibility.
1712  Economy / Speculation / Re: How do we spot the crypto bottom? on: July 25, 2022, 11:13:05 AM
I'd buy Bitcoin without thinking about the bottom price as it doesn't matter to me. As what I'd consider most is buying them is a cheaper price which I think it was it a good idea, and to perfectly buy at the bottom price is somewhat a bonus for us since it was really unpredicted and even we don't know it.

But as for now, it was still in the uncertainties if we are going to the bottom or if we are done already. But just I've said we don't get focus on the bottom, instead, take this opportunity now to accumulate more.
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ignore the dip and Invest in Bitcoin for long term on: July 24, 2022, 11:22:54 PM
It was bullish for bitcoin and all-time-high was attained. In 2020, there was a time bitcoin was below $4000. In 2021, there was a time bitcoin was above $65000. It was a great passive profit making means for many people, people that hold at the time.

Just like in the past, bitcoin stayed above $7000 in 2020, but when it dropped to $4000, some people would have panicked and sold their coins, but people that hold saw the price at $65000. Better to hold and not panic to sell.
Yes it is true. I believe that bitcoin again will reach $100k maybe it will take a long time but it is possible. i bought 1BTC some weeks ago at the price of $20k and i am holding it. i will never sell it by panic. my plan i will hold it minimum of 2 years or more. if is feel a good market beehive.

That was certain it becoming more valuable in the coming years. Those who invest now are hoping not for luck but they believe that someday Bitcoin will have its ATH again and this upcoming halving could be the most awaited part of the crypto world. As being a part of the two halvings, I can really say that prices are expected to rise without control and make investors and holders gain a lot of profit which makes them think and proved that crypto investment is not a failure but a success.

What do you think about stablecoins, some scandals around them and their future? It is interesting to hear the opinion of the members of bitcointalk
If you are into the looked for long-term investment, I suggest for you reconsider Bitcoin and Ethereum as for sure they won't disappoint you as long as you can manage to hold them.

What makes these stablecoins aren't good for now because of several exit scam issues that happen. Such a deniable event that it causes us not to trust them, of course, we want assurance and safety, and much more for profit that is why we have to choose wisely and invest the right coins.
1715  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If There's No Casino Signature Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same on: July 24, 2022, 12:58:56 PM
If you're promoting a casino-based campaign you need to post at least 5 to 10 posts in the gambling section Currently there are  1136622 Posts and  5903 Topics in the gambling discussion alone the gambling announcement not included making it the most active board here in Bitcointalk.

If There are No Casino Signature campaigns Anymore Will The Gambling Board Still Be The Same will we have the same stats as we are seeing right now

So far, I have seen some members that have dedicated their time and post on this board, they don't wear any sort of signature on the gambling board but they do post here most of the time at their convenience because they make more money in gambling than the required to post for the sake of signatures, they play in most of the popular casinos here.

We also have some important threads on this board that have caught my attention over the months I have been on this board, for example, the Premier League, Champions League, Bundesliga, Seria A and other notable leagues and sports boxing and Formula have seen here, some members here are more engaging when I'm alone watching a match without anyone besides me and it is more fun when your team is bullying a troll in League threads.
You are correct cookdata. I see members who make post in the gambling section,  they have no signature on them. The gambling section is the most lively board to have fun about sport, people will always flopping to talk about the latest sports news.
But there are only a few people who are posting with no signature, the majority of the posters are wearing signatures, even the OP of the casino threads, some of them have designed a signature for them to wear so it's easy for the readers to visit the site by simply clicking on the signature. If you are a reputable member of the forum and you wear a signature of a certain casino, that's a big help for their business already, some even get paid wearing an avatar only.
1716  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 24, 2022, 12:39:45 PM
Word on the street is that the Lakers just offered Jamal Crawford a 1-year contract. Crawford is one of the best sixth man to ever play in the NBA and a relentless scorer. I could see him coming off the bench for a few good moments when they need a bucket. He’s old, but many NBA players were surprised he didn’t have a contract last year, as he’s still one of the better players in the league.

Hmm, not sure about this though, is the Lakers not learned from last year's debacle? I mean getting old and veterans players? and it didn't click right?

No doubt that Crawford can play and one of the best cross over during his prime, but I'm not sure if they still need a guy like him and to be a scorer? He is not a good defender as well so honestly, I will be baffled if they get him.

As a knick fan I love me some Jamal Crawford but I tend to agree.  There are plenty of vets that can still ball but in the backcourt position if you are a step slow on defense than in your earlier years it diminishes your value.  Outside of a select few this is a young man's game and I want mobile guards for sure.  Lakers trying to do anything they can if they sign Crawford up.
A big fan too of the shake and bake maestro but I don't know, there must be a different purpose into why they want Crawford in their roster.
Maybe mentally?
He may be one of the greatest sixth man in the league but those knees are growing weaker as you age.
I don't see him being given even 20 minutes of playtime, it will be more of boosting the morale of their bench.

He is already 42 years old, the same age as Udonis Haslem and this guy is not playing anymore, so I don't think he could play more minutes. Lakers are really fun of investing in veterans but they don't know how to utilize them effectively, maybe they have to change strategy, put the young guns, and develop them.

The Lakers do not need a veteran, they have experience players like their big 3. What they need are role players that could step up consistently so their starter could rest and will not become prone to injury. Lebron, AD, and Westbrook, as long as they play great basketball, that will affect the entire team in a positive way.
1717  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: July 22, 2022, 08:27:46 PM
Is that so? Well, if that's the case then I think GGG will just have to pick one belt that he would keep and just let the WBA strip him up because that fight against Lara will not amount for at least one-fourth compared to what he could get on this upcoming trilogy. Fact is that Gennady Golovkin will receive at least $43 Million (Salary and PPV included) total purse from this trilogy versus Canelo Alvarez.

Win or lose, GGG must rest after this fight because he didn't had enough time to rest himself and recover from that match against Murata because he had to train again against Canelo afterwards.

Agreed. He is 40 years old and I don't think that he will participate in more than 2-3 fights after the trilogy fight against Canelo. And therefore he needs to pick his opponent carefully. I am not saying that Erislandy Lara doesn't have any quality. But in the end, it is money that matters. If Golovkin feels that this particular fight is not rewarding enough, then he will definitely skip it. And at this point, most probably he doesn't give any attention to the different belts. In the unlikely scenario of Golovkin winning the trilogy fight, we can't rule out a fourth fight between these two boxers.
It's up to GGG now whether he really wants to take the risk with his current age to keep making some fights although it will be very difficult because it's rare at an old age that boxers can win. Or do you want to find something safe for yourself. I don't think the safe-seeking option is a bad thing although there will be some perceived cowardice but it's better than continuing to fight without certainty for win.

I bet nobody would say that GGG is coward if he would choose not to fight against Erislandy Lara after this upcoming trilogy, GGG has been through many fights in his career and earned himself a respect, I'm quite sure about that though. Honestly, 4 months preparation time for a 40 years old boxer? What is the WBA up to? They should at least put up a good amount and time for recovery because there is really a big chance that he will get more weary after the trilogy, knowing what Canelo could give.
1718  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and Fengshui on: July 22, 2022, 06:56:48 PM

It's still a man made thing for me that's why I don't believe it, it has nothing to do with my religion but I respect and understand other people's belief if they are happy and comfortable about Feng Shui stuffs. Anyway, it's their money to buy that stuffs and as long as nobody will be hurt then I think that's just fine.

Same sentiment, as long as there is not bothering anyone, and they are using their own money,

it's on them to take the things that they believe will help them in winning their gambling activities. I don't know if there's anything
relevant to change the luck of your bets.

But if they (the people who are believing) think that they will have a much better chance of winning, then so be it and let them think
that it will. Nothing will change mine and their perspectives.

Yup, as long as they are happy and contented about it. You know Feng Shui stuffs comes with a hefty price and every year it will change because of the zodiac signs and alignment of the things, celestial objects or whatever it is Grin but I can still see lots of people who are willing to buy some stuffs because of the word luck which made me wonder about their side.

I'll just think that it is just their own kind of way to be comfortable and confident when it comes to gambling as they think it will bring them money or luck.
1719  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 22, 2022, 06:26:09 PM
Just let the man prove his worth this upcoming season because we saw that he was clearly struggling and he is not averaging the same figures that he did a few years back but there's a reason for that, as we know, the NBA changed some rules so that Harden cannot have many free throws he wanted because he's using fouls to make free points unguarded.
Anyway, let's see what is the improvement of the 76ers this time.
Harden is the type of player that never won and played very well, and there are many like that. The most famous one is Utah Jazz back in the day with Stockton and Malone, they never won a ring, hell even when Malone went to three-peat Lakers just to win a ring, they still ended up losing that year.

Westbrook and CP3 are also in the list of valuable players along with Harden who don't have a ring until now, I think these 3 mentioned names are the remaining players in their generation who haven't got a ring that is still playing up to present and the rest had already also retire without it. Now, I'm kind of curious which of these 3 has the most chances to win its first ring before they retire? Mine is CP3.

Those 3 names mentioned above do belong to a heavy teams in the league, the competition has gotten tight and I'm looking forward that at least one of them can grab a title.
1720  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Teofimo Lopez vs Pedro Campa - Aug 13 on: July 21, 2022, 11:18:53 PM
So Teo Lopez is back, after the humiliating lost against George Kambosos, he is making his comeback, but this time he has move up in weight. He will be fighting a dangerous and experience boxer in Campa next month.
Teofimo lost that fight because he was fighting like crazy, but the Teofimo who fought with Loma and previous rivals, would have clearly beaten Kambosos. Another reason was his health challenge. According to reports, he had air around his heart that made it difficult for him to breathe properly. The doctors confirmed it. López will make history again in the 140. Canpa doesn't even stand a chance.

That is still debatable as the fight hasn't happened yet, Pedro Campa is a bit underrated but he is not an easy opponent that Teo could take lightly as Campa can give the latter an additional defeat in his professional career if he will be complacent about this tune-up after defeated by Kambosos.
Teo has a huge chance and he got to improve more if he's looking to fight heavy names in the industry soon, he should try and finish this fight with a blowout win as this fight could give him the hype and recovery he needs.
