1701  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 40 high schools in Argentina to launch bitcoin in their curriculum. on: May 20, 2022, 10:55:02 AM
Instead of jumping into any conclusion, let's wait till you see it in reality. Many times the government uses such tools to spread negativity about something they don't like. For example, in India, the government is slowly erasing the actual history of freedom fighters and pushing their own organization as a savior of India under British rule. Make sure such kind of things are not happening there as well.

If bitcoin is introduced under a positive note, then it should be fine!
1702  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to proper trade in you asset in this market situation? on: May 20, 2022, 05:51:52 AM
Hello everyone.

I'm try to trading professional trading not possible to in this market condition. how safe my asset proper way?

I mean if we see "when is market condition bear" then i would be perfect call to buy top100 crypto. But anyone suggestion in this situation when we fall in bear market.

Lol! It's not really a good time for trading. It's a time of accumulation to be honest. Day trading un bearish market is really risky unless you use a mix of short and long call. So I would rather recommend you to accumulate more of your favorite cryptocurrency. That will help you in medium term when the market fires up!

Please remember the trend. ATH was 22k and ATL was 3k during previous cycle. Now the ATH is 69k and ATL seems to have strong suppor5 at 30k level. That's why I am saying to accumulate.
1703  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Getting an NFT just got easy, didn't it? on: May 19, 2022, 07:28:54 PM
Hi all, I recently came across an interesting Twitter bot that helps you automatically participate in Giveaway NFT projects. Has anyone come across it? Is the whole NFT market really taken over by bots? And how long will this freebie last?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v0e2f4Do2xU

The video is unavailable!

Please understand that "Free" things don't have value! That's why they are free! If a particular NFT has a potential to grow manifold, they will never become free through any channel. No one is generous enough to give you a free but valuable NFT. This are just marketing gimmicks because the NFT market itself is a hoax. So when the NFT market doesn't have the chance to shine in future, how on earth a free NFT will shine your fortune?

In crypto market, always avoid free things! Those days are gone when ICOs used to distribute free token to their promoters but ICOs have died a bitter death already and NFT is on the verge of such bitter death. So take your next step wisely!
1704  Economy / Economics / Re: Using plants as a savings account on: May 19, 2022, 05:11:10 PM
Farming was never a bad idea in developed countries. Farmers in US and Japan are extremely rich and earn more than many top executives. But in many other corrupted countries, farmers live a miserable life. If you are looking for investment, fossil fuel is still a better choice if you can store it in proper condition. But yes, trees and plants can provide recurring returns over a long period of time. Also if you can do the right packaging, you can build a brand out of it.
1705  Economy / Economics / Re: Cooperative investing between small investors on: May 19, 2022, 12:21:14 PM
You should try pool staking if talking from cryptocurrency perspective. Find a coin that allows staking and then find a staking pool to invest in. That's a perfect example of cooperative investment.

If you are looking to invest in startups, there are couple of programs available in my country. But not sure if they allow foreign investors or not. Check for WINT in Google. But such investments are quite risky, I must say! You can earn as much as 25% return if you choose right but you can also loose all your investment if you choose wrong.
1706  Economy / Economics / Re: USDC and Banking on: May 19, 2022, 06:14:50 AM
I think USDC is making their move to introduce CBDC into the market.

And may I ask you, how?? USDC is a crypto company and CBDC is a "central bank digital currency". So not just USDC, rather any commercial banks can't introduce CBDC unless specifically authorised or instructed by the central bank of that country. So regardless of the fact whether the company had purchased a bank or not, CBDC is not something they can operate legally.

Quote
So the question is... Are you ready and prepared for the CBDCs?

If I look from the perspective of convenience, then CBDC is great. But if I am looking from the perspective of my financial privacy, then it's a bad thing that can happen in my life. Now choose accordingly.
1707  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN AS A LEGAL TENDER on: May 19, 2022, 04:19:23 AM
I don't see it happening in "advanced" countries like China ever. If you have slightest idea on how China functions, you wouldn't have listed them as an advanced country. In countries like Japan, there is still a possibility to have bitcoin listed as legal tender in future. That could happen in European countries as well. But not in dictator led countries like China or Russia. They will rather implement CBDCs over cryptocurrencies.

But in case of another world war, the gameplan could be changed totally.
1708  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did you live through the last bear market ? If so, what did you learn ? on: May 18, 2022, 06:14:34 PM
I have lived through such bear market before and my learnings are,

1. Don't panic. When ATH is temporary, the bear market is also a temporary phase.
2. Accumulate more if you can
3. Avoid FOMO at any cost
4. Always diversify your portfolio and don't invest only on cryptocurrencies

That should be enough to ride theough.
1709  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla used to power cryptocurrency mining. on: May 18, 2022, 05:10:47 PM
It's a value diminishing proposition in the long run. Every battery has a near definite cycle of charging. Someone is mining using Tesla batteries meaning, the battery is aging quickly enough. That reduces the life of the car itself. If someone is wealthy enough to burn a costly car for a mare 800 dollars a month, he should have invested this amount of car to somewhere else.

Simply doesn't make sense!
1710  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no future as a payments network, says FTX chief on: May 18, 2022, 12:02:02 PM
Without LN, I too think that bitcoin doesn't have a future as a payment network. Except LN, bank transactions are much cheaper and easier to manage. There is one innovation solution that my country has started called - UPI, has revolutionized the payment infrastructure totally. People don't have to carry anything except their mobile phone. So with such innovations in place, bitcoin doesn't really have a chance!

But with LN, bitcoin may be able to capture a little bit of share in this trillion dollar payment processing industry as the time goes.
1711  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin is too volatile? Bitcoin VS Netflix, Apple, FB, PayPal, ..etc on: May 17, 2022, 06:35:41 PM
Guys, don't compare stocks with cryptos. The movement in stocks are mostly fueled by the hard facts whereas we have to speculate the reason for crypto's movement. They are not same.

For example Netflix, Their share price depends on the revenue, new addition of subscribers, loss of subscribers and growth percentage. If you want to speculate on Netflix stock, you can look forward for these data points.

For crypto, we never certainly know (in most cases) what is the reason if bitcoin's price suddenly crashes. Bitcoin market is a truly free and global market which is very very difficult to speculate based on some specific parameters. So both stocks and crypto are volatile, but let's not compare them!
1712  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kwik Trip To Install 800 New Bitcoin ATM on: May 17, 2022, 05:39:06 PM
800 New ATMs - that's huge! It certainly will help to raise awareness about cryptocurrencies in general among the masses. However, 11% fees might be a turn down for many. But if it gives a choice to stay anonymous, some people may be ready to pay that extra premium in exchange of protecting their anonymity.

So this has bith pros and cons. I hope the pros of such huge initiative overpowers the cons and nake the venture profitable in long run.
1713  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTC is scarcer than gold. on: May 17, 2022, 01:55:25 PM
Yes bitcoin is more scarce than gold. That's a true statement! But  if you look at the acceptability of Gold and bitcoin, gold is a clear winner. Scarcity alone doesn't make something costlier. It has be adopted and accepted widely. That's how you can bet on its future value.

Bitcoin is a very new asset class compared to gold. It has a long way to go! So instead of drawing a comparison between these two assets, let's help in bitcoin adoption.
1714  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Californian regulator will review on May 19 the ban on donations in cryptocurren on: May 17, 2022, 05:58:52 AM
It seems Aarika doesn't have any other agenda for the state. Such an immature behavior. This is nonsense! I am sure California state government has a lot other important things to do.

Does anyone know the crypto donations volume till date. I am sure it wouldn't be a huge amount and thus no impact on the market. But such non sense newbies will put the reputation of cryptos at risk!
1715  Economy / Economics / Re: Wheat War I is going to be World War III on: May 16, 2022, 06:01:26 PM
Alongside China and India, US is also a mass producer of wheat and many other food grains. Whatever is happening in Europe, is a pre-planned series of events formulated by White house and Pentagon. I wouldn't be surprised, if UK is also a part of this conspiracy or not but they are also very likely to be a part of it.

Otherwise, there's no reason why US will force countries like Ukraine and Finland to join NATO. It would give them uninterrupted access to Russian border. That's what Russia is protesting and trying to protect their border from US invasion.  The UK and US imposed sanctions on them and look who are the most affected countries - european countries. US is all fine here!

If you don't understand the gameplan yet, you are living in fool's paradise.
1716  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The meaningful shift from Bitcoin maximalism to Bitcoin realism on: May 16, 2022, 05:03:34 PM
I am not sure what the correlation between bitcoin maximalism and trading pair! Earlier, we didn't have much choice of trading so people used to trade based on the bitcoin price of an asset. USDT stormed into the market and quickly became the main trading currency for many because of the calculation convenience and easy capital conversion during falling markets.

It's all about choice! Maximalism is a mindset and the world of trading operates on available options which increases the horizon for traders.
1717  Economy / Economics / Re: Well now i know why Bill Gates bought farmland back in 2021, how did he knew ? on: May 16, 2022, 05:33:04 AM
How the f..k Bill Gates knew that we will have a food crisis ? ( Did he build a time machine or what ? )

https://www.vox.com/recode/22528659/bill-gates-largest-farmland-owner-cascade-investments

He is Bill gates for a reason. Also he gets the first taste of many amazing technologies built by Microsoft which we haven't yet heard off. So it's not surprising that he has a super computer at his disposal. So with his kind of intellect coupled with a super computer, can do wonders.

If you really want to know the power of business prediction and analytics, watch the case study of Asian Paints who has been a market leader since 70's in the paints industry despite steep competition with the help of data analysis. It is widely available in youtibe.
1718  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If you knew the founder of Bitcoin, would you still use it? on: May 16, 2022, 04:43:08 AM
It actually depends on the name of the actual owner. If we come know with irrefutable proof that NIA had created bitcoin, I wouldn't use it. But if the creator is really a Japanese guy called Satoshi Nakamoto, why should I stop using it? We all know the creator of ETH, did we stop uaing ETH? So it all depends on the actual identity of the creator. Otherwise it really doesn't matter at this stage where bitcoin has see a great amount of adoption already.
1719  Economy / Economics / Re: Ukraine Crisis Reveals the Folly of Organic Farming on: May 13, 2022, 04:26:20 PM

We know that synthetic fertilizers can scale production. Can organic farming scale as well?

Ask Sri Lanka about it! As a part of financial reform and for a drive towards self-reliance, Sri Lanka banned the usage of fertilizers on April 2021. That reduced their farming yield by 45%. A country already struggling with Chinese debt, this one was the final nail on the coffin.

Organic farming is not really a solution for a country unless they decide to use all of their lands for farming only. That's not gonna happen and that also has after effects on the economy because thet country will then have to be importing foods.
1720  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are decentralized stablecoins a failed experiment? on: May 13, 2022, 01:55:02 PM
Is there any centralized stablecoin available in the market which has already been audited their reserve? USDT Tether is the first ever large scale stablecoin (centralized) and they are still the biggest one in terms of volume. I don't think they have ever got audited.

So the entire stablecoin ecosystem is thriving based on trust! For Terra, the trust is somehow gone and we are seeing the price dipping every single hour. Otherwise I don't see a logical reason for not maintaining the peg with reserve asset.
