1701  Other / Serious discussion / Re: What will you do? on: March 11, 2023, 08:25:53 PM
What exactly is a lie, more importantly where did you hear a lie from God? Dream? No, but life on earth compared to eternity is statistically less than a nanosecond in comparison with "eternity". Just like the way you feel how fast the time had passed when you think about the past that we sometimes refer to it as it was like yesterday.

Things get really interesting when you look at the life as a test, at this stage you realize you'd need to study first, and at this second stage, you realize there are too many paradoxes/contradictions and you'd feel that you need guidance, this is the third stage where you need to be careful, ask directly from the source, and God shall provide.

The story of life is not pre-dictated, however it is prewritten but we will never know it while we living it, that's why we can do whatever we want, and the point of the test is exactly that, "we can do whatever we want"  in the face of it all, what are we going to do with that freedom?
1702  Other / Off-topic / Re: Reddit bitcoin community vs bitcoin talk forum community on: March 11, 2023, 05:34:32 PM
Reddit is overrated, too noisy and messy, so many extra stuff which only distract you. This forum is the home of bitcoin, we are kind of a family with satoshi as the founder of this home.
1703  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Private keys posted on Bitcointalk on: March 11, 2023, 05:27:24 PM
What happens if you send some coins and turn off RBF, only the first thief could get them right?
1704  Economy / Reputation / Re: Solosanz reputation on: March 11, 2023, 05:19:52 PM
I see trust whoring is still a hot trend. When you wanna complain about trust, it should be about bullying, misuse of trust flag/ feedback. If someone is accusing others wrongfully and others are blindly following, report it, but someone trusting or distrusting someone else is not a good excuse.
I should say this here, I very much like the monthly rotation of DT1, even though it resembles the monthly period time for women, it is an interesting sight to see people going up and down, this month you could be red, next thing you know it's all green.😉
1705  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: what are 1s private key 2s private key 3s private in this BTCWP img on: March 11, 2023, 11:15:56 AM
Forget about technicality, first grasp the concept.

Block chain(central bank).
Nodes(bank's branches).
Private key(you).
Public key(bank account).
Signature(your signature when opening account and transferring).

Public key cryptography has extra features/functions.

I send money to your bank account(public key) only you can spend the money.
Now replace money with a message, I send(sign) a message with your public key, only you can read it because you(are) have the private key.
PGP, is a close source application, GPG is not, regarding bitcoin they are irrelevant.

Picture you posted is a technical explanation to show how we can replace banks safely where everyone could make sure about the legitimacy and authenticity of transactions.
1706  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: BitDirect allows for anyone to set up their own shared custody business on: March 10, 2023, 09:32:34 AM
Creating a single point of failure where someone has the ability to easily take the funds and run? Well I can see is RED flags. Bitcoin is supposed to be the money and the bank with no man in the middle, but you want us to be the man in the middle for others, and yourself to be the second man in the middle, damn that's a scary threesome.🤣
1707  Other / Politics & Society / Re: We Need More girls in Cryptocurrency Trading. on: March 10, 2023, 06:08:43 AM

You are truly making the point. I can share an interesting story/scam happened to me. A few days ago, I logged in my Facebook and tried to reach some of my friends overseas, suddenly a very young and attractive lady sent me a friend request. Out of curiosity, I accepted. Then she was beginning to "make friends". To be honest, I am not young and naive and I know there must be reasons these attractive girls are chasing you. One hours later, she asked for my What's App number and I gave her. Then she started chatting there on and on. Basically she was saying she got divorced and was interested in me, which is all false of course. And in the next few days, she kept sending me all crypto transaction records saying that how much she earned every day. Then I knew she was trying to seduce me to buy all altcoin for her personal gain. Well, I am not stupid and said no. And she was not upset at first because she said she would be my girlfriend but we had to make money first, bla bla bla... in the end, I laughed out and she knew I was not a fool and would not fall in her trap. Finally she said I was not suitable for her and stopped talking to me. Do you think this is an exception ? Hell no, I have met these women dozens in the past years. I guess this is another reason why so many altcoins are badmouthed in the market. Scams only depend on scammers.
Gold diggers, gold diggers everywhere [meme inserted].
If you were horny enough, she'd be with your child, if you were horny and smart enough, she'd be digesting the mini you's by now, lol. But it seems you were just smart not to fall for it.

To all the young and beautiful girls out there, I can make you rich, you just need to visit my office which has a nice couch and there is also a camera for educational purposes, you can earn 1000$ in less than 2 hours.
Here is the process, you just show your ID to prove you are at legal age, I will take care of the rest. Guaranteed 500k Onlyfans subscribers.
This is what I can think of when you guys talk about more girls in crypto, girls can easily be manipulated, there is no room for pussies in crypto.🤣

Teaching about the dangers is good, else don't do it, let them learn on their own, you just warn them about the consequences.

This is quoted from RESEARCHGATE website:

We show in some detail how to implement Shor's efficient quantum algorithm for discrete logarithms for the particular case of elliptic curve groups. It turns out that for this problem a smaller quantum computer can solve problems further beyond current computing than for integer factorisation. A 160 bit elliptic curve cryptographic key could be broken on a quantum computer using around 1000 qubits while factoring the security-wise equivalent 1024 bit RSA modulus would require about 2000 qubits.

Someone enlighten me, if the above was true.. why isn't Qiskit or IBM a dozen billion dollars richer? According to the abstract above, they both clearly have the qubits necessary to attack ECDSA with Shor lol . Something is not right. This is either overrated estimation of the strength of quantum bits, or IBM/Qiskit are angels.
While elliptic curve and RSA encryption are different, 160 bit elliptic curve is not used in bitcoin. I would say in order to find a private key by knowing the public key in secp256k1 (bitcoin) you'd need to crack a 2048 RSA key. I might be wrong. According to my own knowledge, the security of bitcoin is 128 bit, if I'm not wrong we'd need to do 2^128 operations to find the target private key.  I would say a very *strong QC, could crack the 2^80 operations in a few days, considering they have a few million terabyte in RAM.

*= in 15 years from now.

Funny how you ^^^ believe in the old testament but not in Quran. History shows Bible and Torah were manipulated as stated in Quran.
However religious discussion with you is futile, but there are some facts that you can't deny, such as carbon dating, though with your mindset, carbon dating should be fake science as well.

That was a joke, I don't know cryptography or coding for that matter, better to ask it on  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5430668.0 ordinals topic, they can help you.

What the hell is this? It looks like a riddle  Huh

I have been struggling to get some info about it, but I donīt get it.

The 2 images are inside the HTML code in base64.

I have considered that it seems entertaining enough to share it.
That's the X spot, it marks the location of a treasure, not a puzzle but a treasure map. They'll most likely rape and kill you if you manage to find the place. Lol.

I don't know what "asm sha256 is" is, lol maybe it refers to assembly code?
1717  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: What if all of the miners get the same answer? on: March 08, 2023, 09:55:30 PM
In simple term, the dad ( previous block ) does not want 2 kids, he only wants 1 kid, if there are 2 kids, one of them is orphaned. Such a cruel world, right?
1718  Other / Meta / Re: Bitcointalk monthly traffic analysis and stats on: March 08, 2023, 09:39:26 PM
Traffic is not the priority for theymos, quality is. However the forum is missing on some great opportunities, where the source of all things bitcoin related should be this forum, where it should be in the top 5 results on the first pages of search engines. Some of the most prominent crypto related developers lurk these woods regularly and provide the most useful content, yet the search result for some fundamental discussions about bitcoin refer the user to other sources. Bitcointalk should be the go to for the majority of crypto enthusiasts not the go to for the majority of altcoin scammers.
1719  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin puzzle transaction ~32 BTC prize to who solves it on: March 08, 2023, 06:48:18 PM

This is the fundamental problem that people don't understand. The vulnerability is in ECDSA, not the SHA256 hash function.
It's the opposite, FYI ECDSA and SHA-256 are entirely different, they just happened to operate in the same bit range. SHA-256 is used all around the world for many purposes and is more prone to fail from a collision attack.
In ECDSA, more specifically in bitcoin, you have a barrier called computation cost, whilst in SHA-256 you don't need to compute so much as you need to do in bitcoin.

I believe no one with a quantum computer would directly and publicly attack bitcoin addresses, not everyone is a criminal. As history is my witness, technology/ knowledge, is not given to a certain group of people, it's given to many in different parts of the world, that's why we have pyramid shape structures all over the world, that's why we usually hear different names when we talk about the greatest inventions, the knowledge is somewhat evenly distributed in a timely manner. Point being, if the bad guys have their weapons, the good guys also have their defense system.
1720  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Villagers welcome bitcoin ideas. on: March 08, 2023, 04:52:19 AM
Nicely done my man, I wish there was something I could do to help you guys advance in your lives, if I had a total of 1000 BTC I would have traveled there and would have spent at least 25 BTC to build the necessary infrastructures for your community.
I believe bitcoin whales should do this kind of stuff regularly especially old time miners, hodlers to spread the news and awareness and as well to show the other side of the coin, you know.

However I believe small amounts like 2000-3000$ could give you guys a head start, hopefully forum philanthropists stumble upon such topics.😉
I'm involved with a cryptocurrency project (not a cryptocurrency), and I'm generating some revenue from that project. Though it's very small, I have taken one step to do something for the community. A part of our revenue is being stored for creating social awareness regarding bitcoin and cryptocurrency. Well we are very far from that since bitcoin is illegal here but for sure I'll do something with the fund. For now, we don't have a lot of plan but we will save it and spend when we will have opportunities.
Remember this, yourself, your family, your relatives and friends always come first, if you have more than you need, just help those closest to you and then if there was more, look in the neighborhood. If all people in the world did this, we would have no poverty anymore. We are doing the opposite, for example my aunt lives in dubai, her son in laws are in car/ real estate/ oil company business, practically billionaires, once she told the richest of them that some one needs a little financial assist to start a new life, he told her: if someone doesn't have the money to start a career and get married, they should never think about it, why would I give them money?

While a single dinner night out cost them 3000$, they wouldn't bother to help a relative family member with a 50,000$.

So yeah, everyone should do that, while OP had never asked anything money related but anyone with a big pocket must support such communities, drop by drop we become an ocean, crypto needs such drops, because they are the most devoted and most motivated people that could become valuable assets in the future.
