1721  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin adoption by banks - good or bad? on: November 06, 2021, 08:55:45 PM
As far as I see, a lot of people here are very happy when they read news about this or that bank adopting bitcoin exchange, offering crypto related services or doing something related to crypto.

At some point I understand that people like it because they want to see crypto everywhere but the downside of this is that crypto gets more regulated and I think it losses the magic/spell that it had before. Personally, I think that more adoptions and regulations won't do any good for bitcoin, it will just become a little bit different digital version of fiat. I think as time goes, anonimity, decentralization and these words are fading away and they turn into myths like Greek gods.
I have always had this thought on what would happen when all these banks  have finished taking control over most of the crypto currency exchanges. The government are trying as much as they could to have  a strong grasp on the cryptocurrency market: they want to be able to control the market and make the decisions on what happens and what doesn’t and we have also seen the news where they talked about How the government is going to start regulating the market very soon by making sure that every transaction is registered with KYC and they are able to know who is receiving the cryptocurrency and who is sending it out.
Even so, the result will be the same as it is now.
Even if adoption is possible, it doesn't mean they can create a monopoly on this.
they can only slightly take advantage of taxes and others but for transactions it will still be very difficult to control because crypto will still be in a decentralized system so it will be difficult to do that.
1722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin you hold for Next Bull Run on: November 06, 2021, 08:23:55 PM

Cryptocurrency market raise and many people are looking for a good and profitable project for investing. But before investing it is necessary to check all details about the project and to read more. Here you can read more about new projects and their opportunities https://blog.inery.io/index.php/2021/09/28/introduction-to-inerydb/

The rise of the market attracts a lot of people. Many people want to earn money on cryptocurrency and invest in it.

Now many people use cryptocurrency for investment purposes. That is why people prefer to buy a cryptocurrency and hold it.
I think something like this has been going on for a very long time and everyone does it. especially for coins that do have a very good market cap.
On the other hand, hodl for a long period of time, I think, is only for coins that are already in a positive trend and already have a fairly high popularity such as eth and bnb or for example, now the busiest one is cardano.
1723  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tesla make 1 billion profits from it Bitcoin holding on: November 06, 2021, 08:02:52 PM
As Bitcoin price relies on around $58,000 investors are already recording their profits and one among them is Tesla, a company own and operated by Elon Musk a popular cryptocurrency whale. The company bought 43,200 Bitcoins sometime in February 2021 have yielded a 65% that is 1 billion dollars profits at the present Bitcoin price.
Credit: https://cointelegraph.com/news/elon-musk-s-tesla-is-already-1-billion-in-profit-from-holding-bitcoin
Imagine you bought a lot of bitcoin, then Elon Musk caused a fud due to energy consumption, then there was a recovery and a new all-time high rn, but the Tesla firm still made a lot of money.

Sometimes I wonder whether this is all calculated and analyzed because Tesla and Elon Musk are doing so well in the crypto world.
we should know that they do things like this either fud or adoption is indeed for their own benefit.
on the other hand whatever they do is actually something that can be detrimental regardless of adoption and fud it all inevitably leads to things that maybe not everyone can think of.
all they do is manipulate and seek their own profit, they don't care about their supporters and they don't care about crypto
1724  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs Caleb Plant on: November 06, 2021, 07:33:44 PM

When posed with that question, the camp of Caleb might have a hard time thinking of a specific boxing ability or quality of their fighter which makes him better than Canelo. They would neither reveal their strategy in taking up against Canelo. That's probably why they just give a somewhat vague answer in saying they are fully prepared and ready. I agree though. They cannot be less than 100% ready in facing Canelo. Canelo has everything to defeat Caleb.

This is very important for both fighters and Caleb opted not to give any hint on what he is going to do, it's better that way that you left your opponent guessing what you are going to do, he might have a change of strategy or style and he wants to keep it until the start of the round, whatever change of strategy I still have Canelo winning but I never rule out an upset or a surprise coming from Plant.
it could be as you say but canelo is one of the most experienced and terrible boxers. it will be very difficult for the plant to be able to make something that is difficult to predict especially when the match is getting closer.
it will be very exciting but if you choose it is true that canelo is the winner even though it takes time and maybe the match will last until the last round.
1725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Genting Casinos awarded for their safer betting standards on: November 06, 2021, 07:08:30 PM
If we talk about my country (Russia), then people here are very worried about the reliability of casinos and bookmakers. There are many organizations with murky jurisdictions here and they operate according to the laws of the wild market - as long as you lose everything goes well, but if you win then it can be difficult or almost impossible to get your winnings. Therefore, I do not waste time on research, but use proven crypto casinos and bookmakers.
But with the evolution of internet now users can pick the most trusted and reliable casinos on different payment options and when we are taking about Russia I don't think most crypto gambling sites are not restricting them so they can make use of the trusted gambling sites on the internet.

A lot of things are prohibited in my country  Grin All crypto casinos and most of the regular ones (even legal in other countries). Even on this forum, I sit through the VPN  Cry
It is clear that I can bypass locks, but this is becoming more and more difficult (this year most of the VPN services were banned), and if we are talking about ordinary average users, then they are forced to use only allowed resources (which are often scammers in relation to successful players).
this is something illegal in your country, but on the other hand it is an entertainment that can make you happy.
I think this is understandable because there are still many countries or governments that prohibit this (crypto and gambling).
on the other hand even though it is prohibited but they still provide leeway with a VPN which is quite good because it can still be accessed even though it does need help.
I hope your country immediately changes the policies they make so that they can be free from things like this.
1726  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: November 06, 2021, 06:39:55 PM
Milan really have one of their toughest matches this weekend against Inter. Things have been so far so good for Milan. They won ten times in their eleven Serie A matches and lost none until now. This match has the potential to be their first loss but I still want to believe in Milan here. Maybe they will have a really big difficulty against Inter but they should be able to get at least one point.
it's a pretty hot derby and well worth watching.
I actually assume that Milan will win this match because indeed they are favored by playing at home and with full support from the fans.
in the champions league indeed they can't do much but serie a is different, this season they have become a superior club even in the last 5 matches milan managed to winstreak and this is a positive thing that can ignite the spirit of milan to be able to win this match
I agree here surely it's going to be very hot and entertaining Derby because AC Milan current form is also very impressive in this season and Inter is defending their title with some poor start of this season. AC Milan current form clearly favoring them but Inter's history is very good against them, they will try their best for having full points and close deficit between them and top two teams in League. In case of lost gape could be 10 points which mean they could be much behind them and their hopes of having successful title defend.

Napoli is also had good match against Verona which can give them full points and some better gape between other teams for having very good for staying at top.
Statistically and historically the match is for now Milan still lost to Inter but looking at the standings this season I feel confident that they will get full points in this match.
on the other hand this is a pretty good fight to watch as they are in 2nd and 3rd position even though their points gap is quite far.
It's just a matter of seeing if Milan is able to maintain its winsstreak or is it Inter who continues this positive trend.
on the other hand if milan loses then i think it will widen the distance with napoli because i am sure napoli will win against verona.
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Going for the Underdog or Not? on: November 06, 2021, 06:21:49 PM
If I have some spare amount and wanted to place bets of unknown matches? First thing I will do is to make a simple search on the internet about those two teams and probably watch a few games or highlights or previous data for both teams. It's free and well I don't want to place bets randomly even though it shows on the odds who has an advantage but it was an underdog and we are not sure what they are capable of.
That is the sensible way to go about this, however not everyone enjoys researching the matches and try to choose the team that has the best odds to win the game, they prefer to gamble and take risks and as long as they keep control of their capital going for the underdog can be a good way to enjoy their gambling while at the same time have some decent shoot a multiplying their capital, personally this is not my betting style but I can understand the people that think that way.
because indeed this is a pretty good choice to get a high prize.
on the other hand they think that this will make them get a different challenge because surely the sensation they have will be different.
regardless of the results it will be very difficult to predict but it would be better to try something high risk with a win that is certainly bigger.

I wonder which one of the possibilites will come true in the Bayern Munich - Freiburg game this weekend. Will Bayern Munich destroy Freiburg in their home game just as they did the same to Bayer Leverkusen? Or will Freiburg make them huge difficulties and maybe even win a victory? We will find it out in only 2 days. Until then, my assumption is that Bayern Munich won't have a big advantage in the first half as Freiburg will be able to resist. But in the other half, things will start changing and Bayern Munich will defeat them by two goals at least.
this is a match that is worth waiting for because on the other hand, for now, Bayern are a strong club and they are definitely the favorite in this match, apart from playing in their own home, the quality of their players Cheesy because I'm tired of watching Bayern. which has been at the top for several seasons.
on the other hand if freiburg can beat bayern in this match then the standings for the top 3 bundesliga will be more exciting
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: November 04, 2021, 05:13:08 PM
Damn I hate going on social media!

Everyone is complaining about Messi and I saw even the clips circulating of "him standing still" in the field while all his teammates run. 2 seconds of him doing that, not realizing two things. 1, that this is his style. Stay still 1 second and burst forth. 2, that he actually was even an injury concern for the match but he played anyway despite not being at full health.

Anyway 7 points lead for PSG, so sad nobody can take advantage. And they won so many points after 80th minute this season damn PSG lol.

Just don't read them  Cheesy Has it ever been otherwise? I try to read only clean information, everything else is a debate between fanboys and haters, sometimes it's something funny (like memes), but mostly it's boring swearing. I am sure that such big names as Messi will cause controversy even with zero news stories for a very long time.
conditions that can't be removed on social media Cheesy
Lots of expletives that only debate who is the best, who is the best player and team and ridicule each other from rival clubs.
this cannot be eliminated because apart from being a spice in football, this is also considered as a proof of their love for their favorite team (though this creates a bad image) Cheesy
But this is what makes the competition even more exciting, at least the people who do that they have a lot of time for things that are not really needed Cheesy
1731  Economy / Economics / Re: How can strikes affect short-term inflation? on: November 04, 2021, 04:25:05 PM
I am actually in a neutral point where indeed when they made an amendment they actually had a clear purpose and purpose.
And when you look at what Virginia did in fact outline this statement outlawing all civil service strikes, the new law seems to only apply to public school employees.
this is based on the events of 2018 in which 20,000 teachers and other school personnel left their jobs due to a prolonged dispute over salaries and caused the world of education to be completely paralyzed and schools closed for some time.
Their reasons may be said to be reasonable because indeed when talking about a teacher who incidentally is a role model, it would be very unethical when talking about salary.
On the other hand, teachers are also normal human beings who really need money to survive because it is only from this salary that they can survive.
I think it's good for the government to make amendments in the hope that they don't want to make the world of education die completely due to the same case, but on the other hand, the rules they apply are against the norm and are difficult to accept.
1732  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tennis League All Thread on: November 01, 2021, 03:20:31 PM
I see all the conversation is about Vienna tournament, understandably since it was stronger than St. Petersburg one, but I had been betting on this one much more. Mainly backing Cilic since he found his form for the first time in last couple of years and connected some nice victories in the past weeks. Wins against Khachanov and Agut were enough for me to force him until the tournament end. Backed him today and will do so again tomorrow in the final and then in Paris masters when it starts.
Cilic is a pretty good player in my opinion especially in his strong serve. I can even say that Cilic's points contributed through his serve can be more than 60% in one game.
but Cilic sometimes loses concentration in the middle of the game which makes him sometimes make unnecessary mistakes.
with the speed and strength of his serv, I think Cili will continue to grow even though he is at his age, he can be considered a veteran in the tennis world.
Nah I don't think he can grow to be honest, first of all serve alone is not enough as we can see players with massive serves are low in the leader board, also Cilic for me is done, and by done I mean he can't compete with big players, I think St Petersburg title is as big as he can win now, I Don expect to see anything crazy from him, very few players can do that at that age and i think he is not one of them.
as you said, because even though the small service is very good, there are some things that can't be done by just serving, and besides that the age factor also has an effect.
Little boy is not young anymore and it is certain that this will affect his performance because his physique is definitely not as good as when he was muf.
but on the other hand I still believe that he can still do something in St. Petersburg.

My predictions for this weekend league 1 games
Lyon Vs Lens:3-1

Even if you put the Lyon team ahead in this match, I don't think the lens will be defeated. Maybe the match will be a draw or Lens will win. Lens has shown tremendous performance in some matches this season. In Marseille, they won 3-2. They also won against Monaco. For the lens though Lyon is a strong opponent. And the match is Lyon's home match. Yet my idea is that the result in this match will go in favor of the lens.
Their score was 2-1 and it was lyon who won this match.
but the performance of lens in the second half I think was quite good even though in the first half they made a lot of unnecessary mistakes, including those that led to a penalty in the middle of the first half.
but for the second half they found the momentum of their game but it didn't have much impact on the match because they were only able to score 1 crazy
1735  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: October 31, 2021, 03:32:24 PM
In the match played yesterday, Bayern Munich managed to beat Union Berlin 5-2. It was a good score for Bayern, who lost sensationally to Mönchengladbach in the cup match. Borussia Dortmund, which is in the championship race with Bayern, managed to beat Cologne 2-0. With these results, Bayern continued to lead the scoreboard. Borussia Dortmund is in second place, one point behind.
Doesn't it seem strange to you that such a defeat for Bayern in the match with Borussia Mönchengladbach? Bayern breaks all its rivals with a huge score, but in this match the opposite happened, and one must take into account that Bayern played the main aquire. It was a cup match and it seems to me that this match was simply lost by agreement.
you mean there is cheating in it? like setting scores and such?
the chances are very small in my opinion especially because they are one of the big clubs and I don't think they will use something rash like this to get something.
I believe more because everything is possible in 90 minutes of the game.
And even though Bayern are a very strong team it doesn't mean they can't lose by a high score because they can also slip
1736  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Binance Coin (BNB) reach $1K? on: October 31, 2021, 03:13:09 PM
when talking can or not I confidently answer this with the word can.
because indeed the adoption of bnb continues to improve, besides that their coin burn system is still a pretty good thing to see because indeed every 3 months they always do that.
the problem now is when it happened. they could reach that price maybe even more but for the time we can't predict this exactly, and time will tell all.

hm it seems that your promotion of this coin is not accompanied by a clear project and roadmap or whitepaper Smiley
at least you have to start for promotion well at least include the advantages of this project.
this is just going to be a joke, friends and coins like this, of course, the purpose is to pump according to what you said in your thread.
I appreciate your promotion here but sorry I'm not interested in that Cheesy

Disappointed with the Liverpool defense, they were quite good since the first half but because of a bad defense, Brighton was able to strike them easily. I am really disappointed with today's match. In fact, since the beginning I was very happy to predict me today right but instead ended in a draw. The next match awaited is Tottenham vs Man United, I bet for Tottenham and will they repeat the same mistakes as before 0 - 5 or worse?
liverpool lost concentration at the end of the first half until the second half was running and this was used as momentum for brighton who indeed I think their performance is still quite good for this season.
even so I still see some Liverpool players seem to let the brighton midfielders and wings be too free and there is no marking so strong that they conceded with two goals back.
On the other hand, Brighton is still one of the dark horse clubs this season and this is proven again by holding a big team to a draw.

for MU vs Tottenham as long as MU is still pairing fred with mctominay in their midfield I think this will be a good thing for tottenham Cheesy

I think what still was exciting was the rivalry between Ronaldo and Messi. I mean will we really ever see two guys scoring 50 and 46 goals respectively in La Liga within a single season? The question was always out for man people who of the two is the GOAT. For me it is definitely Messi, but it was understandable when Ronaldo got the world soccer player trophy as well. He had performances that were out of this world as well.

Should it be Lewandowski, the choice would be ok. He is doing amazing on a constant level now for quite some time.
their performance is indeed quite good but only for individuals and last season their performance in the team was not good enough in statistics especially winning the title.
indeed everyone knows that they are GOATs that even it will be difficult to keep up with these two players.
but on the other hand his contribution to the team is also calculated and lewa is one of the players who has a pretty good contribution, on the other hand he also continues to improve his record
