Zidane is the captain of the French national team and PSG is a football team from France. If you or I were Zidane, who would be chosen? I will choose the French national team. If you?
In this case it does indicate that he really wants to be a coach for the French Team but on the other hand Deschamps is still a wall that is difficult to break through at this time in the leadership chair.
It would be really good to see him coaching at PSG because I want to see if he can really do much or not at this big club, although there is still no clarity and it seems Zidane is still enjoying his personal life without work.

Dani Alves was a very important player for Barcelona and he played for them so many years. He is very old now of course and I think Barcelona don't need him anymore. He might even retire soon too as he is 39. But I will remember him as one of the best right-backs in the world. Barcelona are targeting to make the squad as young as possible now. This is a nice step for doing this. They are trying a different thing which is being successful with youngsters and I'd like to see them succeeding in this.
Even though his performance was superior in the past at Barcelona, it is true that age is now a barrier and we already know that Dani Alves' performance has decreased quite a bit now.
Retirement may not be long for this player. As for Barcelona, they seem to be starting again with a younger team, apart from maturing their players, this is also good enough for long-term progress.

The condition of the French team is not good. We saw the poor performance of my France team in the Euro Championship. Almost all the players on the team are stars. But their bonding with each other is weak. If current France coach Didier Deschamps cannot solve the team's internal problems, it will be difficult for France to qualify for the round-16 of the next World Cup.
I think in this case the French team and Deschamps are still preparing what steps are appropriate in the world cup and don't think too much about the failure in the UEFA Nations because there are indeed some clubs who are actually more interested in trying new things than focusing on winning and maybe this also what France is doing now.
But with things like this continuing to happen, it's actually not very good because it will definitely give them a bad stigma at the world cup later.

In UEFA Nations I stopped betting because I have lost several times and this is inseparable from the poor performance of the leading teams here so I am now more comfortable watching than betting there Cheesy
Regardless of how the individual performances there, their team's performance was still very lacking, especially in terms of finishing which made me frustrated to see some opportunities wasted.
with this result France sink to the bottom of the standings lol

@heruist it’s clear that the top stars are tired and that’s why they’re clearly underperforming for their national teams, and hence it’s not surprising to see that the favourite teams are losing. Also I hope that France doesn’t perform this way when the World Cup begins, because I’ll be disappointed if they crash out in World Cup due to such poor performances.
indirectly the match here is just a kind of test in tactics, the game and prioritizes several things such as making player rotations and giving young players a chance. because as you said in this match there is no guarantee that the big team will win because it only prioritizes the things I mentioned above rather than the results.
For example it is possible in Ligue A group 3 there in 3 matches Germany only produced 1 draw but in the 4th game they slaughtered Italy with a good composition.
1065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: June 15, 2022, 07:58:59 PM
Dani Alves will no longer be a Barcelona player next season.
He has decided to leave to prepare very well for the upcoming world Cup.
Marcelo has also left as the most dedicated player in Real Madrid.
Two great players from the Brazilian national side
The Brazilian duo who have served their respective teams for a long time may soon leave this season and make the Qatar world cup the last edition of the world cup for them where at an age that does not allow them to say goodbye to their respective teams. such as Marcelo who will leave Real Madrid and also Dani Alves who is rumored to be leaving the Camp Nou, but the dedication they show is extraordinary.not only bringing their respective teams to excel in the domestic and European arenas but they deserve to be called legends at their respective clubs. -each
Actually in this case Dani Alves was good he left at that time and when he came back last season this would not bring any results and indeed Barcelona's condition was also quite difficult so even though he didn't want to but it would be better if he left again.
As for Marcelo he was a very good wing-back but his prime is now over so there really is no reason to stay and the era of Madrid defenders Pepe, Varane, Marcelo and Sergio is all over now and they will be remembered.

would prefer a move to fc chelsea or tottenham hotspurs... Roll Eyes

Kinda understandable if he wants to go to 'Chelsea' rather than Tottenham because Tottenham has alot of other striker options that probably would be getting in his way for the main lineup. Aside from that, Lukaku wants a desperate exit back to Inter Milan so yeah he probably would fill in that spot but honestly due to Chelsea's condition then moving in to that seems to be a 'bad' option isnt it
Maybe in this case he wants to find a position there because for the last few seasons Chelsea have been very difficult up front.
Timo Werner and Lukaku are currently still unable to find their best form and inevitably Chelsea can only focus on Havertz there and he wants to secure that position there.
On the other hand, Chelsea is still a prestigious team and there will definitely be pride in being there

Mane's influence at Liverpool cannot be underestimated, but the arrival of Luis Diaz meant that his position was completely filled if he left Liverpool. With the presence of a potential new player like Luis Diaz, it will certainly be a breath of fresh air for Liverpool's front lines. Although we don't know yet that he will play better than Mane or not, but Klopp was right in signing this player. Because if I see it looks like Mane will really leave Liverpool.
Actually, if you look at the reason behind Diaz's arrival last season, he meant to rotate the players because in the previous few seasons Liverpool lost several players due to injury storms and they couldn't rotate it which made Liverpool not play well and actually if you look at this it is Diaz really went above and beyond and he can do really well there.

As for being a replacement for Mane, even if it was originally like that but in terms of performance maybe it will be a little different but I agree if I say the role of Mane will be filled by Diaz if he really leaves.

I believe Gavi will become more experienced in the future if Xavi helps him. Gavi is young now, just 17 years old. In the next 2/1 years he will be able to coordinate very well with the Barcelona team. He also played in 46 matches for Barcelona last season. His fitness is very good. And so Xavi must not want to releas Gavi now. And my guess is that Gavi will become the future star player of Barcelona.
He is another very promising potential after Ansu Fati, Ferran Torres and Araujo.
With his current age he is still potential as long as it can be maximized properly. and I think Xavi can maximize this player, especially in a typical game and his position is almost the same as what Xavi did when he was a player.
Many teams want his services especially after his good performances in the national team and Barcelona but no matter how big I hope this player is not let go because this is good potential.

The match did not end with a draw. I lost the bet. However, Benzema's gameplay has disappointed me the most. He is a devastating player in Real Madrid. Many times we have seen him break the defense of many strong teams. But his performance in the France team is very weak. Mbappe's performance was much better than Benzema's against Croatia. France expects better performances from senior players like Benzema.
In UEFA Nations I stopped betting because I have lost several times and this is inseparable from the poor performance of the leading teams here so I am now more comfortable watching than betting there Cheesy

France 0-1 Croatia

Today I am enjoying the match of France VS Croatia. My prediction is that the match will be drawn 1-1 or 2-2. But in the first 5 minutes of the match, Croatia got a 1-0 lead by scoring a goal from the penalty spot. Since Croatia got the lead at the beginning of the match. So now they will play completely defensively and try to end the match 1-0. It will be more difficult for France to draw or win the match.
The boring French game is back in this match.
They were in control of the game as well as the chances but they couldn't create anything interesting and it's like a flurry in front of Croatia's goal now.
now the minutes have shown 70 minutes of running time and this looks like it will be another defeat against france and they will sink further into the bottom of group A 1 standings.

It must be really emotional departure for Marcelo indeed. He has been a part of Real Madrid since the 2006-07 season which is really amazing to me. He has been definitely an irrevocable player for Real Madrid until now. Nobody can overlook his incredible contribution to the team so far. I wonder what team he will be playing for next time. He is 34 years old and I believe it is still not a too old age for a left-back. I hope that we can see him at a good team from now on. I assume that he won't retire soon.
Another Emotional Moment after Sergio's departure last season.
I feel lost because regardless of what I liked Madrid from the beginning he came in around that year during the Los Blancos era and his performance was so impressive during his time at Madrid and was never replaced in the seasons of Cristiano Ronaldo.
Goodbye he will be one of the legends list in my version of Madrid.

Rumors like this will likely continue until there is some confirmation from MU and Ronaldo Cheesy
But I still feel that even if Ronaldo is going to leave Manchester United he will not be in Rome because regardless of what it is, it is very difficult to see in my opinion the chance is very small. I even doubt he will go to Serie A again.
It's still not clear, this issue appears a couple of months ago after Ten Hag has been the official Manager of MU because both have different types when in the field, where Ten Hag always uses strategy pressure on the opponent, which makes Ronaldo must run to get a ball. another issue is, that Ronaldo might be a center-forward where it's not what he likes before. about Roma, if happen there will be a past relationship between both in real Madrid, but still if Ronaldo like past, there will be a mismatch also between Ronaldo and Mourinho.
But for now I'm still not too sure even if the style of play or whatever is the problem, I still feel that Ronaldo will stay at Manchester United this season even though there are still many rumors and there is no certainty because there is no official statement but I'm sure he will survive because in this case, even if ETH doesn't really match Ronaldo in terms of schemes, he can still use ETH's role.

Small rumors or big?

If Ronaldo will choose to leave Manchester then Roma will be interested in him.

Lewandowski is a complicated one. Both Barca and player want to happen but Lewandowski has one year left on his contract. Bayern expects Lewandowski to fulfill his contract while Lewandowski and Barca expects to respect the player and allow him to leave. So unless Bayern somehow feels like it's time to let Lewandowski go, I don't think this is gonna happen.
They will not be able to hope much if indeed the demands made to redeem Lewandowski are agreed and this will only be the same as in the case of Haaland and will be allowed to go if the price is right.
But the problem is that Barcelona are struggling financially so it's complicated. on the other hand at this time it seems that Lewandowski is also being approached by several big EPL clubs which obviously makes Barcelona even more difficult.

Interesting matches today include Spain Vs Czech Republic and Switzerland vs Portugal, as usual not interested in betting here because sometimes it's annoying
More interested in monitoring whether these two teams will draw or lose like the other favorite teams and for a while Portugal conceded the first
is this an indication they will draw too  Cheesy my hunch says yes maybe  Roll Eyes
At first I wanted to bet on Portugal but I didn't and it turned out that my choice was right Cheesy
Portugal again rotated there which made it monotonous in the match on the other hand for Switzerland they did have to win and 1 goal was enough for them and this was their first win here.
Spain is now in first place temporarily but this match is also not very interesting in my opinion even though Spain are playing well

I think that the most enjoyable game now is Netherlands - Poland. Poland got 2-0 ahead in the first minutes of the second half. However Netherlands turned the game around incredibly by scoring two goals in only four minutes. It is still 2-2 now but Netherlands have the momentum now that's for sure. I started to believe that Netherlands are going to make it to a win. Maybe it is going to be a hard-fought one but they can do this. They are the team I like the most in this group too btw.
this was quite unexpected because I still feel that the Netherlands will still have the upper hand in this match but Poland's counter-attack was really powerful. they even went 2 goals ahead but the mistake was that they started to lose focus and the Dutch played more insistently after conceding the second goal.
However these 2 goals in the space of 3 minutes really left Poland speechless and the Dutch had their confidence back after that. this draw is not too bad for the Netherlands.

Aurelien Tchouameni for €80,000,000 to Real Madrid is certainly the replacement for Casemiro in 1-2 years. It's so much money, but I already thought 1-2 weeks ago that Real Madrid would sign someone very expensive and that's what happened now. The income from the Champions League will be invested directly.
They don't seem to want to waste too much time on this player because indeed this can be said to be quite fast in the deal. and maybe this is good enough not to take too long because indeed they also still have the task of looking for strikers now because indeed they still have to look for this to strengthen their team in navigating next season.
Defender has been filled in by Rudiger, midfielder Tchoameni has now been brought in and there is no reason for them to delay the hunt for a striker.
1078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: June 11, 2022, 08:29:43 PM
If Lewandowski leaves Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund strengthens the team, a lot can change. Of course, any player can be replaced, but I think that replacing Lewandowski with any player in the world will be a weakening for Bayern at this point. Borussia, on the other hand, has a lot of opportunities for changes in the team. I hope they will make good use of this transfer window and start an equal fight with Bayern next season.

Bayern are after Mane who seems to be the likely one to replace Lewandowski but things with Mane are complicated so not a done deal yet. Bayern can still find a replacement. Question is whether they go after experienced one like Mane or go after a young potential player. It all depends how much they are willing to spend given the price tag of a player. It's gonna be a crucial transfer window for Bayern.
At the moment Mane is still a Priority but I still feel that the price they are offering at the moment is still quite difficult for them to get this player.
For potential young players it seems that this is also a good option but until now I still haven't seen anything like this at Bayern Munich because they are still making Mane the main target.

Manchester United are interested in signing Frenkie de Jong seriously and I guess they will be willing to pay an amount like 80 million euros for him. Barcelona shouldn't miss this big opportunity I think. They desperately need money to fix their financial issues quicker. I know that it is hard to let go a very good midfielder like Frenkie de Jong but there is nothing to do about it. Otherwise they may not be able to sign the players they want in the transfer window. Hopefully they can find another midfielder to fill his place.
I think man united need a player like him he do his job very well defensively and offensively but i don't think barcelona will let him go easily even with 80 million i think they might negotiate to exchange it with another player to replace him.
Recently I read that they would only let De Jong off for 85 million euros which is the same price they did when they made the transfer and Fabrizio mentioned that United's offer of 60 million plus a bonus of 10 million euros has been rejected by Barcelona.
I think it will be a bit forced if they are still going to release this player at that price because if you look at the performance and age, it's obviously too expensive.

Real Madrid are still continuing wisely when it comes to making the right transfers for themselves. Aurelien Tchouameni is a really great choice for them and I don't have much doubt that he would be very beneficial for the team. Real Madrid are investing into young players and they will be very contented with the results of this high effort in the future for sure.
Tchuamendi if he maintains his skill level like this until next year, he will surely become one of the best players in the world.
Just imagine the midfield trio of Valverde, Tchouameni and Camavinga. Good substitutes for Kroos, Casemiro and Modric if they leave. Madrid is always one step ahead. VTC may prove to be better than KCM in future
He's a really good player but I think you have too high expectations to say the best player in the world for him but to be one of the candidates maybe this could be true.
On the other hand at the moment I see Valeverde more often on the flanks than in midfield and this shows that he can be in any position for options.
other than that they are still very young so the potential is still very big.
