This is football, anything can happen in 90 minutes of a game. it doesn't matter how strong they are how good their players are and their individuality but when playing 90 minutes without cohesiveness and focus there it will only be a loss.
Frankfurt played very well in this match and Barcelona took this too easy so they didn't focus on the defense which Frankfurt did well.
on the other hand, when many people don't think that the expectations of Barcelona in this match are quite large, so when they lose, it is quite natural that many people lose their bets.

If we took this as the norm, then we wouldn't be able to wager on PSG or Bayern in league games neither, nor Barcelona. But when I see them playing against weak teams in the league, I have zero hesitations to wager on them. The difference is that this is an elimination game and usually teams put %100 on the field, in a league format you could lose, you could even relegate, but at the end of the day its 30+ games a year, but when it comes to Europa or UCL, or conference from now on, we are talking about just one game, deciding your faith and that is why we get to see these as shocking results. If we looked at league games, I am sure even the best teams lost or got a draw against weak teams in the league as well but since they win 30 times and do that only a few times, it's not a shock.
need to be seen in this case I never thought this was a normal but in football anything can happen including the defeat of a big team that is very well seeded. it's up to you to think it's bad luck or it's an accident but when you're on the pitch everything depends on strategy and when they lose it means their strategy isn't consistent in the game.
It's not wrong to be in a big team bet that is seeded but when you're there it doesn't mean the bets made will win instantly

Cavani is an old player, especially for the premier League.

He can play in a slower League like Serie A or go to MSL with Insigne...
MSL is not bad for him in my opinion. he is now too old to compete in the EPL which is always high Tension and indeed it would be better if he looked for a new club that suits his current age.
This season he has not played too much at United and I think he should be prepared to move clubs to lower tensions.
Now that MSL is in high demand in football, there's no harm in trying there

Cavani is an older player now, but I think he is still international? I think he can still compete at the highest level, but it will all become more difficult in the long run. And if he goes for the big money, he might also consider another adventure in Asia. That wouldn't surprise me. Just like Iniest did when he went to Japan. It has to suit you as a player, of course. Too bad he doesn't get to play much at the moment.
His age is indeed quite old but he can still become a Professional player now but his Intensity might decrease a bit. His current age is 35 years which if described is even young compared to Ronaldo and even Ramos who is at PSG. I think he is still very competitive but indeed this age is not very suitable for a league that is even very hot in the EPL.

Well maybe this will be a consideration but regardless of all that of course it's back again to Cavani how he will continue the adventure in next season

Did anyone think Frankfurt had a chance? This game was perfectly clear for most people. Barcelona wins. Frankfurt loses. But it turned out quite differently and Frankfurt scored the goals at the right time with a lot of courage from distance. Congratulations to Frankfurt. Now it is on to West Ham.
Yes it was a great match between Barcelona and Frankfurt. I didn't believe that Barcelona would lose the match against Frankfurt. Though Barcelona played well at the end of the match but Frankfurt did well and scored goals at the right time.

I looked at the quotes for the match PSG - Marseille and was very surprised, at the moment they are as follows:

1,37 - 5,60 - 7,60

The first team of the championship against the second and such a big difference in the odds? It seems to me that this is a bookmaker's mistake and you should bet on Marseille. The fact that PSG have a huge lead over Marseille on points is an argument rather in favor of Marseille, since PSG may lack motivation.
It's true, even though PSG are favored in this match but making a draw bet or being in Marseille is certainly very tempting to do.
how could the club in second place have this big gap with their current form.
If we compare the last 5 matches that Marseille have played, they are much better in my opinion and indeed it is quite profitable if they are there

Rennes v Monaco is going to be the opening match of the week. Rennes are shown as the favourite team to reach a win here. But it is not going to be easy for them at all. Monaco are a really tough opponent for them now. The gap between them is only six points now. And Monaco are also in a fight to qualify for a European tournament next season. I still see Rennes as the closest team to win but it would be a really tight match. If Rennes manage to win, it would be by one goal.
Rennes have to win in this match because indeed their contender for 2nd place will now face PSG which will be less likely to win now.
When Marseille lost and Rennes won then indeed second place would definitely be theirs now so they have to make the most of this well.
but Monaco is not an easy opponent to beat now. Monaco is now in a pretty good trend too even they also want a win to compete in the top 5 now.
I think it will be interesting to see if Monaco, which incidentally is a dark horse, will push into the top 5 or indeed Rennes will overtake Marseille.

Barcelona vs Frankfurt now only started 10 minutes but interestingly now Frankfurt took the lead pretty quickly due to a foul by Erick Garcia in the 4th minute which was converted into a goal there through Filip Kostic's penalty.
Now Barcelona have to be extra in attack because with this 1 goal advantage Frankfurt might prioritize defense now because with the existing advantages I don't think there is any reason to keep playing open
this is really unexpected, Frankfurt managed to excel in the early minutes. they are now only playing defensively and Barcelona continue to look for gaps to penetrate Frankfurt's very strong defense. Barcelona have 65% ball position and if Barcelona continue to attack like this they will probably be able to get back but in situations like this anything is still possible.
I hope no more surprises happen and Barcelona can win the game.
The first half is over now and the result is beyond everyone's prediction, Frankfurt are 2 goals ahead and Aggregar are 1-3 for now.
Is there really any other surprise apart from Bayern being eliminated in the UCL. Barcelona are in control of the game now but they are still having a hard time taking chances as Auba, Dembele and Ferra are now struggling to deal with marking from Frankfurt's players.

Man Utd, Liverpool and Man City reported interested to bought Dortmund player Jude Belingham this is because they were impressed with his performance during play for Dortmund this season especially Liverpool that they need younger midfielder because some of their players such as Milner are getting old and because Belingham still 18 years old so he could be good asset for long term and probably price tag will be expensive for him
Jude Bellingham is fast becoming the rising star and catching the eyes of big clubs. Some fans are already seeing similarities between him and prime Dele Alli but I really hope he would be more determine and have a better career than him. Not just to be a few seasons wonder and fade away. I think moving to either Manchester City or Liverpool will be great for him if it eventually happens not Manchester United.
By looking at his current age, he is still very young, I think his prospects are still very good, but according to what you said he must be really careful in choosing his future career, because if he puts the wrong choice, it will be very difficult for him. There have been many examples of soccer players who were initially quite good but when they changed clubs they did not get a role in a new club so they slowly faded away. He has to be observant in this.

It is time for Arsenal to start winning games in the league after a two-week break. They lost two times in a row. And their next game is going to be against Southampton away. Southampton were just crushed by Chelsea 0-6 in their home game. It was a really humiliating score for them and I don't think that they will have a high morale in this game. Arsenal beat Southampton by 3-0 in Emirates once in this season. And I see nothing preventing them from having another easy win. I would bet on Arsenal too I guess.
of course, they now have to restart their good form after 2 matches they failed to maximize the match well and now their opponent is arguably still having problems with his performance, of course this must be maximized well if still want to compete with Tottenham now.

Arteta must immediately make a strategy especially for their midfield because in the previous two matches their midfield was always constrained in making movements

City seems to be getting serious now in bringing in Haaland as a target for their hunt.
they are ready to pour funds of up to 246 million pounds to recruit him. in addition, Gianluca di Marzio, via Sportsmole stated that the £246 million part of which will be used to penetrate his release clause which is worth £63 million and £25 million is prepared as his annual salary.
is this going to be another record-breaking transfer now

Manchester City are surely one of the serious teams to sign Erling Haaland now. They can even be the most serious one these days. Because Bayern Munich are still waiting for Robert Lewandowski to make a decision about staying or leaving this summer. Real Madrid's priority is signing Mbappe now. Barcelona could be counted as another serious team to sign Haaland maybe but it is still doubtful if they can meet all of his demands. But they might be able to do so after signing a big sponsorship recently. But Barcelona and Manchester City both will need to spend incredible amount of money to be able to sign him that's for sure.
There is some news that now Lewa doesn't want to continue his form at Bayern and will move to another club and this could be a hunt for Haaland too for Bayern.
but if you look at City's current offer it will be very difficult to refuse the offer I think because it is a pretty fantastic offer for now, especially for Haaland

Sevilla is now starting to optimize its game. Improved and has leveled the points with Barcelona. This means that they still have high hopes, so they have to be careful because it is possible that Sevilla could catch up and no longer want to be under Barcelona. While the difference between Barcelona and Real Madrid is still very far. And there will only be competition in the 1st and 2nd standings.
On the other hand at this time of course Madrid are also in very high confidence now considering they have managed to keep on winning and winning in the last few matches.
I think this will be quite fun. in 2021 they have met 2 times and the result was one draw and one loss for Sevilla but in that match both teams can always score goals and for betting now I think doing multi there is quite good and adding bets both sides can score goals
1253  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 12, 2022, 07:23:55 PM
I think madrid will play calmly their points difference is quite far away, but the victory will certainly give them a long breath. I hope the madrid players don't get injured much until the end of the season, so that they can perform well until the end. Because they will be calmer if they win. Before that they will compete in UCL and the European Cup. Of course they have an equally busy schedule. Of course Sevilla also want to keep winning to keep them in 2nd place and enter the UCL zone next season
Mate, Real Madrid will almost certainly win the La Liga title this season and I will no longer worry about that even if Sevilla and Barcelona try to keep their wins consistent. These two teams won't get many chances to overtake Real Madrid, so we shouldn't worry too much about them.

We were just worried if Real Madrid lost 2 match in a row that Sevilla and Barcelona could take advantage of it, but that won't happen again this season considering Real Madrid are pretty safe now.
Agree with what you said there's really nothing to worry about because I still believe Madrid can pick up points even if their opponent is Sevilla and with a pretty hectic schedule there.
they can still win at least 1 point there although I'm pretty sure they can definitely win 3 points in this match.
but even Benzema's problem they have to be able to anticipate because there is no way they will continue to tire him out in this case

Lol I don't think there's anything extraordinary when it comes to fighting for 6th place, because the top paid players would want to play in the UCL and not in the Europa Conference League because that's even lower than the Europa League. But at least, Manchester United are still lucky to still have a seemingly stable income, because if there isn't a good income they won't be able to pay a lot of expensive players in the team. But sadly, their squad is just about expensive salaries but the quality is like a mediocre team that looks like it too, they will go further and further away from being in a position to get a european tournament.
ManU worst position in the last couple of years is 6th. This year, they have big names but they failed to secure their 2nd spot and are risking to finish 7th.. 5th at best maybe? No CL? No Europa League? Conference League maybe? That's quite bad for such a team.
this is a decline in performance for them now because indeed if you look at the last 2 seasons they can occupy the top 3 there but for now they are even struggling to break into the top 4 position there.
the problem is not about big names in my opinion because this can't be used as a benchmark if the brand can't manage this well. Even big names will be difficult to develop if there are indeed some holes that are still leaking there.

Everyone agree that liverpool should have win the game .

despite the possesion and attacking intensity made by manchester city much more greater , liverpool fight it very well .. they shows a quick response to every goals scored by manchester city. too bad yeah the draw might are the best for both . manchester city of course very happy with this , they just need to keep up the current form while waiting liverpool to get slipped, or the otherway around lol.
I don't think so, of course with this result I think it's better, in the second half Liverpool dominated the chances but in the first half they were quite depressed I think because the heart of the city defense led by Kevin De Bruyne in the middle of the field gave a great game.
apart from that it's still not finished there are still some matches they have to go through and this of course requires concentration because of slipping just a little the chance to win immediately disappears now
1257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 11, 2022, 05:34:29 AM
If they had not conceded a goal at the last minute, they would have scored from this match. Levante are one of the worst teams in the league, they have almost no chance of leaving the relegation zone. Despite this, they struggled and managed to score 2 goals against a team like Barcelona. It is not a problem that the goals came from the penalty. They did their best Smiley
Actually with the two goals scored and the performance that Levante showed in this match I still feel they are a pretty good club but indeed the competition is not that good to let them in the main caste, they are very good in the set up and strategy that is carried out in this match but the others were just as good which put them in the danger zone right now.
Well Goal injury time saved Barcelona in this match which certainly made them comfortable I think because even though they are on the same point as Sevilla but in terms of productivity and one game in hand they are clearly more confident

I have heard some rumours like Leipzig are trying to intervene and sign Erik ten Hag for their manager position now. As we have heard before, Manchester United have been interested in signing a deal with him as their permanent manager this summer. But if Leipzig do this, things can get really interesting. I think that it would make him feel better to manage one of the big teams like Manchester United rather than Leipzig. But we don't know his demands in the end so let's see.
Maybe in this case it will constrict about how much money they spend to bring the Ten Hag.
He is in the spotlight now because with his performances he can bring Ajax now comfortably in the Eredivisie even though they lost in UCL but if you look at their performance, especially in the group phase, they were really very good, it is clear that Ten Haag is being looked at now.
but the question is whether he will leave or will he just settle for the Trophy in the Eredivisie

Pablo Paulo Dybala reported has been refuse Arsenal and Newcastle this because the rumours says he want to remain at Italy and Milan seems interested to bought him but there is one problem if Milan bought this player because Dybala want high salary to his contract and i'm not sure Milan will allowed his request for high salary however i was wondering why he refuse premier league teams because if he want to new clubs which offering high salary then premier league is the best places
I was also watching that game but Xavi didn't change too much in his line-up against Levante.
I personally had too high expectations with Barcelona in the 1st Leg some time ago and my expectations turned out to be wrong, I think Frankfurt still have a chance apart from their players who are under Barcelona but they are still good enough, but the problem is now they are have to go to Camp Nou which indirectly will be a lot of Barcelona supporters there. They have to mentally prepare for it because it will be very different in intensity
1260  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: April 10, 2022, 08:08:16 PM
Half time and the game is till playing out a draw,it is very important for Barcelona not to take it softly, they need to win this match if they are going to have any chance to catch up with Real Madrid, Barcelona had drawn their Europa league match against Frankfurt and they would definitely not want it to repeat itself, although I am beginning to give up on the dreams that Barcelona can catch up because Real Madrid especially with benzema are in great form.

Barcelona sometimes starts quietly in matches. 0-0 is also the most common halftime score. After the break there will still be goals, Barcelona should be able to win this easily. Of course they have the Europa League match soon, it is possible that the trainer takes that into account to prevent injuries.
It will probably be the same as when they faced sevilla with a narrow score. at least it would be better that way. but seriously after they thrashed Madrid in the Elclasico their game of tiki-taka doesn't seem like much now, whether Xavi really wants to implement something new now. but looking at the game now I prefer it when they faced madrid then than 3 games after the elclasico (with this one).
