1721  Economy / Gambling / Re: How is the performance of gambling tokens compare to other altcoins and btc on: October 10, 2022, 09:07:03 PM
Casino tokens usually don't follow btc movements like most other tokens do. Their prices are affected by other factors.
Most of those tokens have a small marketcap and it's the team or owners who decide whether to move the price up or down.
When the prices go up too high, they increase the supply by minting as many new tokens as needed to reduce the prices. When the prices start falling, they limit the supply by burning some tokens or through buyback.
But all of this wouldn't be possible if there is no demand on the token in first place.
1722  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cashback VS Bonus on: October 10, 2022, 08:27:54 PM
I can't tell which to choose if I don't know what the bonus is and when I will receive it how much the cashback is! Without those information we can't tell which is better.
Obviously, anyone will choose the offer that has the higher monetary value.

High rollers will certainly go for cashback as they more you wager the higher the cashback.
Small players will choose other bonuses as like free spins as it will likely have a higher monetary value than what they would earn from cashback.
1723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Not all new Projects are bad, So take the Risk on: October 10, 2022, 06:50:29 PM
It depends on what you consider a good/bad token.
If by a good token you mean a token from which you can make profit on the short term, then there are many of them as long as they make it to the exchange listing phase. You simply buy at the ICO phase (or whatever they call it) then sell when it get listed on one of the known exchanges and you have to be fast before other investors or team members (who own most of the supply) start dumping.
But this is not really what a good token project is. A good project is the one that has a true utility and solves an existing problem. Such projects never die (at least not so quickly) and do not lose their value because people will always need them.
1724  Economy / Gambling / Re: Maybe Yet to be seen? on: October 10, 2022, 06:10:07 PM
Well if casinos are using NFT to reward players it would only make me smile.
Why not? What's wrong with rewarding players with NFTs? They are tokens After all and if the casino can guaratee they will have some value and can be exchanged then I don't see anything wrong with this idea.
Besides, NFTs can be used in different ways to improve the user experience. For example, a player can get access to special features and promotions or have a special membership depending on the NFT he owns.
1725  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Parents And Their Children In Gambling.. on: October 09, 2022, 11:57:47 PM
If that happened just once then I think it's OK. People, especially rich people, do stupid things from time to time.
The son was 19 years old when he spent the fifty grand on gambling and alcohol, so he is not really young.
Anyway, some says that this is OK as long as he is rich and can afford to spend that much! I disagree. Many rich people lost their fortune because they didn't think spending money like this can affect them as they had a lot of it.
Back to the subject, responsible parents should never expose their children to gambling and should never let them know about their gambling activities.
1726  Economy / Gambling / Re: Metaspins.com - Crypto casino - Up to 57% Rakeback Wager - free on: October 09, 2022, 11:34:00 PM
Welcome to bitcointalk Metaspins.com!
I created an account on your website and I really like how simple you made the registration process!
I also like how you have a tab dedicated for provably fair games. This will save me and all those who love this type of games a lot of time.
However, I noticed that when starting a game, the balance at the top will change to In-Game, is it possible to continue displaying the balance and update it in real time while we play?
1727  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of bug bounties from gambling platforms on: October 09, 2022, 10:19:39 PM
The security comes from the development of the site, so the coders must know about security and apply that knowledge while they code the site.
Nit necessarily true. You can be a good coder/dev but you still can make mistakes and write vulnerable codes. Besides, coders usually focus on delivering a working product and don't pay too much attention to security.
Another reason why you need to hire pentesters or white hackers is that not only the software can be vulnerable but also the server it runs on, the APIs it uses and even the project team members and the staff.
1728  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Bitcoin address gone after reinstaling Electrum wallet? on: October 09, 2022, 09:36:21 PM
Glad to know you finally manged to solve the problem and got your coins back. Congrats!

Now i uninstalled my current Electrum wallet with 0 saldo, and downloaded it again, now writing the right 12 word seed phrase that i received from the other earlier first Electrum wallet. Voila! Now the bitcoins is there!
Just in case you're not aware: you don't need to uninstall Electrum and install it again every time you want to create a new wallet or restore an old one.
You can open as many wallets as you want at the same time.
You can do that from the file menu - > new/restore
1729  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch is going to ban most crypto gambling streamers. Where will Drake go now? on: October 09, 2022, 08:46:10 PM
Only a YouTube hater would say crap like that since anyone with a half-decent brain knows that YouTube is way, way more popular than the other platforms which were mentioned in some of the previous posts.
You are right. YouTube is more popular than Twitch and it's not fair to compare them to each other. However, twitch is more suitable for streamer especially gamers, thanks to its features.
Youtube rules and terms are more strict then Twitch. So, if a type of content is banned on twitch, you can be sure it will not be accepted on youtube.

Although I am not a fan of tiktok as I believe it's mostly used by the Gen Z, it looks like it's the new trend and it may replace those old streaming platforms.
1730  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of bug bounties from gambling platforms on: October 08, 2022, 11:19:10 PM
I'm sure most casino owners do an alpha and beta testing (closed not open for everyone) before introducing their product to the public. Those testing phases are important and can help to identify some bugs and vulnerabilities so the devs can fix them. But it's not enough since testing the security of the platform (pentesting) must be a continuous job.
Although most casinos do not conduct bug bounty programs on this forum (except for fortunejack) , I recall seeing many of them posting their offers on bug bounty platforms such as hackerone.
1731  Economy / Gambling / Re: Vulnerabilities in gambling websites in past on: October 08, 2022, 10:35:12 PM
Yes, one must not be too quick in saving huge amount in a newly launched casino because you're not sure yet if it may stay or not because it will face a number of challenges from abusers and if they just operated within a short period to cart away your deposit then there will be no remedy for a recovery since they are centralized,
It doesn't really matter whether the casino is new or not. You should never keep your money on a casino or any other custodial platform for too long. You should cash out any remaining balance s soon as you finish playing. Sure this means you'll have to spend more money because of deposits/withdrawals fees but at least you will know your coins are safe.
Don't forget the binance, one of the biggest crypto exchanges, got hacked recently for the second time. So, even if the casino is old and has a good reputation doesn't guarantee your coins are safe with them.
1732  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: تهكير بينانس on: October 07, 2022, 11:28:45 PM
1733  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: مؤتمر البيتكوين (في أمستردام) on: October 07, 2022, 11:13:56 PM
^^
1734  Local / العربية (Arabic) / Re: مؤتمر البيتكوين (في أمستردام) on: October 06, 2022, 11:10:00 PM
^^
1735  Economy / Gambling / Re: Twitch is going to ban most crypto gambling streamers. Where will Drake go now? on: October 04, 2022, 09:44:53 PM
Am not sure if you are already aware of this, guys, but most twitch streamers started their journey by posting their content on YouTube. Then, they had to switch to another platform because of YouTube's strict policies and they found twitch.
What am trying to say is that twitch became popular because of those people.
If Drake has a big fan base then all he has to do is to find another streaming platform and invite his followers to follow him there.
That platform will become as famous as twitch in no time.
1736  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this Gambling Bot real or fake? on: October 04, 2022, 08:19:27 PM
You know I had that same thought, but I hadn't dared to say it, maybe because I thought my opinion was out of line or maybe it didn't fit with what everyone had said in the thread, that's why I had refrained from saying that opinion
A friendly advice: don't be afraid of speaking your mind or voicing your opinion even if it's not so popular. This is a discussion forum after all and if all of us think the same way why would we be here in first place!
Some members are confusing gambling bots with trading bots and they don't realize that they are totally different. Maybe, they don't even know that some casinos have auto-bet feature which practically does the same thing bots do!
The only reason why a casino would prohibit the use of bots (as long as it's legit and doesn't affect the game results) is probably because it may affect their server latency due to the high number of requests it makes.
1737  Economy / Gambling / Re: Neodice.com | Futuristic Dice Platform 🎲🌌 on: October 04, 2022, 06:43:52 PM
I would also like to inform you that we are currently working on the launch of a review campaign and a signature campaign! 🌌
The review campaign seems like a good idea for know as it will give you a good idea about what gamblers expect from your casinos and what improvements they want you to make. So, it Will basically tell you what you need to focus on to make your casino better. Am not so sure about the signature campaign, though. I think it's still too early to launch one.
First, you need to be more active on this thread so more gamblers know about the existance of your casino and, why not, give it a try. You need also think of adding more games. And please make the game page the main page instead of the current one which make the website look more like a blog than a casino, or at least replace it with something more interactive.
1738  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: LTC CASINO Resolved. on: October 04, 2022, 05:41:29 PM
I received a Pm from LTC Casino representative too asking me to reconsider my support for the flag although am not a dt member and my support/opposition doesn't mean much.
Anyway, I removed my support for the flag as OP (the victim) requested and because he received his money with a slight delay (otherwise he would've returned and said otherwise).
LTC Casino could've handled this case in a more professional way, that's for sure, and I advise everyone to be careful when dealing with them but I don't think they are scammers (at least not in this case).
this is just my opinion.
1739  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Am I secluded to beginners board only for now? on: October 04, 2022, 04:31:58 PM
There are no restrictions on where newbies can post (except for few sub-board). You can post anywhere as long as your comment is on topic and relevant to the on going discussion.
The purpose of having different boards and sub-board is to keep the forum organized and to make accessing information easier.
The B&H board is the most suitable for beginners but if you feel your post or question feets better into another board then don't hesitate to post it there. Even if you don't do that, mods will take care of it and will move your topic to the relevant section.
1740  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Trustwallet Safe? on: October 04, 2022, 03:34:27 PM
the average wallet has its own security as well as trust wallets. This wallet is actually very popular, this means that many people believe in this wallet even myself. the thing we have to avoid is to be on guard, to be careful in transacting and entering web dapps. additional security try activating 2fa in wallet.
Just because it's popular doesn't mean it's safe. The problem with trustwallet and any other closed-source wallet or app is that we don't know how it works under the hood.
The main reason why people use cryptocurrencies and especially bitcoin is that they want to be their own bank.
To be your own bank you need to have full control over your coins and this can't be achieved by using a closed-source wallet.
Therefore, the main problem with trustwallet is trust not security perse.
