Review: Crypto Imperator Bitcoin Physical coins (Normal edition)

The coins are very well packed and comes in plastic flips, the public adr. is included on a paper-slip.

The coins I have received has an overall better mint than a average DOGE coin; less fabrication scuffs and less traces of zinc residual.
However this could be a coincidence, since I have only two coins in hand to evaluate.
Looking forward to receive my special edition coins, they should be even better since they are hand picked from the batch.

There is no slogan like the DOGE coin, however I have been tolled that the chain symbolize:
Bitcoin offers monetary freedom to the people, breaking the chains that tie them to the old financial system. Smiley

The Series-1 Hologram is used, the hologram speaks for itself:

Specs.
Weight: 20.0 g
Diameter: 39.2 mm
Thickness: 2.9 mm

Overall
Overall a great coin at a reasonable price.
I think this is a worthy follow up to the DOGE Coin.

The denomination (0.01 BTC) is a perfect choice for this coin.
It can be argued if BTC should have been used instead of bits, since the term "bits" is not too well known by people outside the bitcoin community.
Nevertheless, I think the 10000 bits work out well for this coin, since it is a follow up on the 10000 DOGE coin.

I have bough many coins from Crypto Imperator, I have always paid up front with no escrow.
Crypto Imperator always deliver as promised.

Buy more. It is mathematically impossible for the price to stay this low in the long run. And the long run in this case isn't even that long.

lolz

1729  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [16 Pre-Orders Left] 5oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: November 01, 2014, 11:47:51 PM
Ah, ok, so basically a "seat" is a share in your mining farm?

Not really.  It's a little bigger than that.  A seat is a membership to NastyFans.  Each seat receives weekly distributions of donations received by NastyFans.  While NastyMining does donate all their mining proceeds, NastyFans also receives donations from other sources.  For example, 50% of sales from the 1oz coins and 50% of sales (excluding pre-orders) of the 5oz coins are also being donated to NastyFans.  We run NastyPool which is about to introduce PPS payouts for P2Pool mining.  Hopefully that begins generating donations for NastyFans as well.  There are a few other products we sell (1g silver coins & T-shirts coming soon) that generate donations and we have plans to eventually offers services like automated escrow as well as endorsing a dice style site for additional donation sources.  You can also keep track of NastyFans/NastyPool/NastyMining by checking out our NastyFans iOS App.

There is also a 3rd party site that tracks these coins:
http://nastyfans.uberbills.com

Alright, so the dividend addy is stored behind the hologram, right?
1730  Economy / Collectibles / Re: [16 Pre-Orders Left] 5oz .999 Silver NastyFans Minted Seats on: November 01, 2014, 11:08:13 PM
5 seats attached to the coin being free for all pre-orders.

Og, what does this mean?

Each coin has 5 NastyFans seats attached to it that earn weekly distributions to the coin's address.  Once the coin is released, the $400 minting fee will require you to use 5 of your own seats, or buy 5 seats when you purchase the coin.  Pre-orders will receive the 5 seats for free.

To Crypto Imperator...

Off topic...are you still planning to make the 1/2 oz Gold 1 Million Doge with an edition of 10 coins?

Yes! It is in our plans, but first we have to clear some issues about gold taxation, and as you probably know the government is slooooow....

A fight worth fighting (imo).

I am by principle against VAT on precious metals.
Gold is money, paying VAT for issuing money does not make any sense in my book.
