1721  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will bitcoin touch $15K till end of 2020? on: July 29, 2020, 02:21:28 PM
In a days time the price of bitcoin grew from the $10000 range reaching a price above $11000. With this pattern of growth $15000 is possible anytime. As of now the price has dropped low to $11000, and the same seems to be the regular growth. In my view every year there will be good growth on the second half of the year. Based on that mostly it'll reach $15000 by the falling months.
let's look ahead. for now, the price of $ 15000 does look potential because of the rise in the price of bitcoin, which reached $ 11,000. I'm also pretty sure the price of bitcoin can reach that price at the end of the year. in addition, the price of bitcoin can add thousands of dollars in a short time.
Just like this pump it was a quick pump after the resistance was broken it was a quick tour till $11k. Now we can see a good pump from this price and not even $15k, we can see $20k also in a matter of a few months. So, by the end of the year if the price doesn't fall then bitcoin can also reach $50k easily.  People were focused on the Decentralized finance projects and no one thought that in the mean time bitcoin would do such a thing and suddenly it popped and the sleeping bull started its journey again.
1722  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash Is Trash on: July 29, 2020, 12:31:07 PM
Cash is trash up until we have a moment like the recent covid-caused mass panic across all markets, when no investment is safe, and even gold tanks. Wise investors don't shit on whole asset classes, they understand that everything has its use depending on the mood of the market. It's better to never be a fanboy of some type of investment and always adapt to the trends of the market. Sutbbornly clinging to crypto or stocks or gold means missing opportunities on the other end. But people do this because they just don't want to admit that they are missing out on something.
People don't try new opportunities as they are comfortable with the ones that they were already using and they think its risky to invest money in new areas. Even I am one of those people, I know DeFi is now the future and yet I fear that I will lose money investing in DeFi projects but still I have a good friend of mine who advise me to hold LINK token and so I purchased some tokens and have been sitting on them from a little while. But cash is just trash and useless in these times when everyone is using and promoting digital means of payment.
1723  Economy / Economics / Re: Bank's loss crypto's gain? on: July 29, 2020, 05:22:22 AM
Apart from the corona if you look at other world affairs banks going bankrupt is common, in countries like India due to waiver of bad loan banks are losing it's reputation and had to be merged with other banks and set a limit for withdrawal, same goes with Lebanon as well. As per one of the source the banks in Lebanon have only 1/4th the about deposited by civilians which is enforcing them to set a weekly limit for withdrawal until they find a way out. If this continues then people will stop trusting banks and turn towards crypto as a form of digital banks.

Kindly share your opinions?
Banks always have less than 10% of what people deposit right there in the banks in the physical form, rest of the money is paid to the people in form of loans on which banks gain interest and then pay a small percentage of that interest to the depositors who had money deposited in their savings accounts. Now in the pandemic people are not able to pay loans, banks aren't working efficiently and on top of it the general population needs cash for their survival so how can banks pay the people what they are asking as whole. But this only makes the crypto a preferable choice over cash and not that the demand for crypto banks will increase because people are still afraid of cryptocurrencies because of the number and magnitude of scams related to cryptocurrencies.
1724  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ARE ICOS STILL LEGIT? on: July 28, 2020, 01:58:26 PM
Your post says lots of ICOs but that's a foul point, AVAX is the only ICO project that become successful this year, no other ICO projects, there won't be any ICO 2.0 era, investors want assurance and only binance exchange and other top exchanges are giving them safe haven
The coin offerings on Binance are not ICO but termed as IEO and yes people now don't invest in ICO because of the risk of being scammed and now the investors like IEO like on Binance and many other major cryptocurrency exchanges which saves the hassle of filtering out the non prime ones from the prime ones.

Only a few large projects are able to trust the ICO to the project and their funds have good marketing without having to carry out larger promotions like in this forum and therefore ICO dominates with failing at low projects.
Right now only those projects can be trusted which are having team members that are having past experience with big projects and also are trusted by the community, newer ones aren't having any chance of surviving in this market.
1725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget bounties and Airdrops on: July 28, 2020, 10:22:26 AM
My perspective towards bounties became different in these past years, before I saw bounties as full of opportunities and potentials but now; all I see is a waste of energy and effort by participating. I do not say that all of bounties and airdrops are all waste, I just want to clarify that there are now only few bounties and projects out there that can be called as promising. I prefer to trade than to participate in bounties because I see a lot of opportunities through trading.

There are mainly two issues with the current bunch of bounties. First of all, the investors are reluctant to put their money into new projects, because of the influx of scam projects during 2018 and 2019. And secondly, there are too many bounty hunters lurking around. Each of the bounties get application from thousands of hunters and it reduces the per-user reward by a lot.
Maximum user cap is being implemented nowadays by many bounty managers on the forum which makes the bounty hunting more suitable task than any other listed on this list. Although only a few managers are doing this thing and the latest project to implement this was Oikos which is already listed on the exchange and is paying pretty good money to the participants because of the maximum user cap imposed by the team on the bounty hunters, I also wanted to join their bounty but was actually late in doing so.
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much you earn in bounty hunting for the year 2019-2020 on: July 27, 2020, 10:15:59 AM
very sad results of my hunt from 2019 and 2020 because it is not like 2017. But whatever it is I will still be grateful because there are still many participants who do not get anything because the project they support scam
Also in a similar situation as you, I completely failed in 2020 because I did not find any really good campaigns. I am currently participating in a bounty listed at the exchange and hope I can get something from them.
That's all because of the market condition. The pandemic comes has been causing a lot of negative effects not only for the cryptocurrency market but also for other markets. There are not too many projects that are started in 2020, that's the reason why there are not too many bounty campaigns also. Furthermore, most new projects nowadays skip the promotion step and go straight to do IEO.
But the OP is asking about the year 2019-20 and not 2020-21. In the past year I wasn't available on the forum as was busy with my studies and just recently came back and joined the koinpro signature campaign and now I'm in the WhalesToken platform signature campaign which pays good amount if you see their base price per token then it is decent pay, the only problem is that the coin isn't listed on any exchange right now and you can only do the auction on their website to sell your coins, other than that everything is fine with good pay as well.

1728  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will NEVER reach it's ATH anymore. on: July 26, 2020, 06:20:57 AM
Come on. You didn't get the memo. Crypto is in a new bull market. A bull market led by Ethereum.

Like if we had a 2nd Nasdaq bubble led by AOL :v Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy
I wish that this crypto bubble will never burst in the near future when everyone is expecting a decent pump, but already it has burst twice first when MtGox crash and the last one was the one year low after 2017 ATH of bitcoin price.

I have think along this way before but bitcoin is highly unpredictable because it is a speculative money. Many believe that bitcoin did not have intrinsic value and at that we only depend on the predictions from those big youtuber to see were it might probably be.
Those big youtubers are good for nothing and only good in predicting the pump and dumps of altcoins having low market cap where they and their subscribers are the major driving force but in case of bitcoin, it isn't possible because of the market cap and daily traded volume of bitcoins above billions of dollars combined.
1729  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do hackers steal huge amounts of bitcoins? on: July 25, 2020, 11:04:28 AM
I was reading about Cashaa, that was hacked and 336BTC were stolen. But the hacker can't move them right? He will leave footprints. So why should hackers steal them since they can be found? For example if they want to convert them to fiat.

The only way I think you could get by from this felony is to keep them on very long term. So long that it may be forgotten. But still, it may.
Stealing bitcoins is way better for the hackers than stealing from the online bank wallets or credit card frauds or maybe carding itself. They can actually get away with the money and exchange these bitcoins for other privacy centered coins on the decentralized exchanges or maybe on the darknet or they would simply mix their bitcoins, there are a lot of people who are using mixers these days. More the number of people using the mixer easier for the hacker to get away with the money.
Mostly the authorities also don't look at this kind of matter seriously but in case of a credit card fraud then getting away will be the biggest problem for the hacker.
1730  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russia legalizing Bitcoin and cryptos but not allowed as payment method? on: July 25, 2020, 06:19:25 AM
If they prohibit the use of bitcoin as a payment method, then bitcoin users have to convert and trade it to fiat first for something that they have purchased. Russians will look to the positive news that the fact this bill is for the adoption of bitcoin for trading.

The last part of the news is about Russia's central bank being charged as the regulator for most crypto that will land on their country. That will be the other country's move if they adopt and regulate bitcoin.

It will be big news if it's finally a law.
The Russians can even use the crypto debit cards which are now pretty cheap if we compare them to the times when they were pretty new in the market and were a lot costly than now. Also, I recently saw a news in which it was stated that the Russian government is looking forward to building their own cryptocurrency, so maybe this can be the reason to why they aren't legalizing the payments with bitcoins locally as they want their cryptocurrency to be widely used in their country rather than encouraging people to use bitcoins for payment.  Once the Russian crypto will reach mass adaption in their country then they would most probably change the law and might allow the local bitcoin payments.
1731  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it risky to invest in new crytpo coin/tokens? on: July 25, 2020, 05:02:20 AM
If you have accustomed your self with exchanges, you will know that at the end of every post of IEO or listing, it will be written that investing in cryptocurrency is a risk. Everyone by now should know that it is a risk to invest in any project. Anytime you invest in a project, you are taking a risk.
I think that if people have free money, then now is a good opportunity to invest in new Altcoins. We are already seeing many coins rise.
Not all the new altcoins are always profitable, exchange listings are the most important when it comes to the profitability of new altcoins. Coins listed on good exchanges are given more priority by the investors and are also considered as premium coins, I have seen a lot of good projects having a bright future but they didn't perform very well in the market because they were listed on some shitty exchange, but when their listing on a bigger exchange was confirmed then they got a big boost of funds and gave many folds in return to the investors over their investment.
1732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you believe in Ripple? on: July 24, 2020, 02:47:02 PM
Nobody will not believe in Ripple as far as altcoin is concerned. Ripple is one of the leading altcoins on ethereum network at the moment. It has proven beyond doubt that it is a worthy project that everyone trusts.
Who said that ripple is based on the Ethereum blockchain?? Ripple is having its separate blockchain so it isn't associated with Ethereum at all. Also the time of the ripple hype has gone now and the chances of it being the best altcoin has gone now which was previously stated that it will be the future of altcoins as it will connect the banks with blockchain, but promises are just promises and we shouldn't bet on them, in the past also there were a lot of pumps thinking that ripple can be the next bitcoin but still, it isn't able to prove its worth to the public.
Exactly! A few years back after a great pump Ripple reached about $3 in about mid of the year 2017, and that was it, it was the all-time high for this coin and after that it started falling and it never crossed the $1 mark either. We just see the hype related to it and never any real bullish price action. Ripple isn't going to be a big deal in the future and moreover if you invest in DOGE you might get better returns as compared to investing your money in Ripple. I don't believe in Ripple and advise others to also do the same if I was in your place, its just another rabbit hole in the cryptocurrency world.
1733  Economy / Speculation / Re: Current scenario of Bitcoin Dominance on: July 24, 2020, 08:49:04 AM
If we break out below 60% much early, then it is very a huge effect for altcoins, a mini alt season? hmmm.
Your chart is really good especially spotting that major support around the 62% (A and C).
I am expecting a huge move of altcoins here once we break below, especially those altcoins that around top 50+ market cap.
All this dominance will go to Ethereum as the 2.0 upgrade is going to be released soon and so people are trying to capitalize on it. But another alt season without bitcoin being pumped is a little bit difficult to happen and surely if the update isn't rolled out soon then the lost dominance of bitcoin will again be added back to it and we can see a pump in the bitcoin price soon enough. It will be beneficial for the whole community if the bitcoin price increases and then there will be alt season next, rather than an altcoin season without a pump in bitcoin price(which will be harder to achieve).
1734  Economy / Speculation / Re: What's going on with crypto market? on: July 24, 2020, 05:23:25 AM
Is it because scam projects cannot scam people and they quit or else there are no investor's to start new projects?

Probably. Or they are thinking of a new way on how to put up new projects for them to scam investors again. As you know, investors today are smart enough to choose a good projects. Unlike before that projects with a very good fake platform attracts investors and do some fund raised to scam them. The way ot used to be from previous years is way different today.
People still fall for these scam projects today also, it is just that the amount of funds being raised have drastically reduced as compared to the previous years where a below average project could also attract more than $10 million in their ICO fundings and still make a profit for investors as well on just the basis of a promised working project in the future. But nowadays people have changed how they would invest their money, they really want to see a working copy of the project first and only then invest in the project.
1735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Shitcoins unite! on: July 21, 2020, 02:03:26 PM
but shitcoins have the advantage of other large projects, namely the ease of Pump, I have seen many shitcoins that experience Pump up to 2x of course it is extraordinary, but after Pump then the dump can also reach 2x, terrible
These are the scams in which only newcomers get into and come wining about it on the forum. The people who are used to these can easily spot a shitcoin and will remain far away from it even if it is being pumped as they know that the high of that pump is only till the investors are buying into it, once the owner starts unloading his coins then there will be a blood bath everywhere and that's the reason they keep their distance from these coins, but newbies are greedy and thus fall for these cheap scams.
1736  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Looking Bullish now? on: July 21, 2020, 06:08:07 AM

$BTC Update

BTC jumped by 1.32%, but looks like a pump 😅
It doesn't look like a pump but it is a breakout that happened and a little bit of price fluctuation is always associated with it, would definitely like to see a healthy price action with bitcoin price that would atleast break the $9500 and $10.2k resistance and then we can see a generous pump. Once the pump start we will see a huge bullish action by the traders and also due to the bots and $15k or $20k will be my next target, once it is reached we can see a small support check and once it is validated then we can see a sharp increase in price to atleast $30k or more.
1737  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Elon Musk Twitter hacked on: July 21, 2020, 05:01:17 AM
I think Twitter got hacked. Theres so many more people that posted this. Apple, Bezos, Elon, Biden, Coinbase... the list goes on. The scary thing is, this could have been used to do massive damage.
They tried to do massive damage with these accounts but failed to do so because people are more aware nowadays so only a minor amount of people did actually sent their bitcoins to that wallet hoping they would be getting double money in return, but actually we all knew that it was a scam right from the start.

And twitter already recognizes their mistake and made a post about it. The vector of the attack was some twitter employers, they got hacked by social engineering and after that all the accounts was vulnerable.

Will be hard to see an attack like this again. For sure they will do something about the security to avoid it.
As the attack was a social engineering attack so we can see this type of attack again in the future, employees are people only who can easily be fooled by social engineering attacks and falls in the trap of hacker, no matter how much secure your firewall is, if someone inside it opens a door to attacker then he can do a lot of damage once he is inside the system. Although most employees also get this type of training in tech firms to recognise a social engineering attack and also to tackle it.

1739  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Tron's Justin Sun Offers $1 Million Bounty For Twitter Hackers on: July 18, 2020, 03:21:52 PM
Seeing the character of Justin Sun who likes to make publicity stunts, I'm not sure about the bounty for Twitter hackers that he said.
If it turns out there is a successful claims reward, there is no guarantee Justin Sun will pay $ 1 Million. Because the $ 1 Million
reward amount is too large, it looks unrealistic. Grin
Haha, exactly! $1 million for the scam of $100k I guess the hacker might give away his location in order to claim this bounty as well!!! Grin Grin
This isn't more than a publicity stunt, everyone knows that no one is going to do a thing for this much amount of money that was scammed and Twitter will most probably do a patch from which the hackers were able to get control of these verified accounts. So its a pretty good marketing strategy to announce a $1 Million bounty for information on the hackers.

$BTC Update

Horizontal Support mentioned yesterday has held. Moreover BTC crossed back into the Ascending Channel. Considering scenario with long, but only if BTC breaks the Local Resistance Trendline.

This resistance is the thing that is scaring the bulls right now just like the previous months where the price actually crossed the resistance a multiple number of times but in the end, when it tried to test the resistance it used to fell always if in testing the resistance the price wouldn't have fallen and would have gone up again then I am pretty sure the resistance would have become the support and the bullish market would have started. Let us see what will happen now with this price point, I guess it will be a different day but the same scenario.
