921  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: October 01, 2022, 08:37:05 PM
An extremely entertaining game from Liverpool at home to Brighton. Another draw and this time with 6 goals. Of course the supporters like to see matches where there is a lot of spectacle, but if your team doesn't win then it will become a problem in the long run. And so Liverpool just continue to be in poor form. I don't think we should expect much more from Liverpool especially before the winter break. The win from Newcastle was a very good one. 1-4

The fact that PSV is far from stable has proven to be an honor today. Ajax also seemed slightly taken aback in recent weeks, but what happened to PSV today would never happen to Ajax. Losing 3-0 to a team that has to fight against relegation. How are you going to explain that if you want to compete for the championship? It's nice about the Eredivisie that all teams can beat each other, with Ajax of course normally being the exception. Ajax is now also playing football and is on a 1-0 lead, but we have just reached the break. There will still be way goals. And next week the CL so possibly some players get some rest.
923  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: October 01, 2022, 06:50:29 PM
I recently saw some reports about Qatar from footballers who have played there. They say it's not as hot there as people think. Okay, during the day it can be 35 degrees or slightly warmer, but when the sun starts to go down it cools down pretty quickly and then the weather isn't that hot at all. I think that is a huge advantage for the teams, so that you can look for a moment of cooling in the evening. That wouldn't have been possible otherwise. I think the last time we had a World Cup in Asia was in South Korea in 2002? But I think it was still very warm in the evening. I don't expect many surprises in the group stage but I am curious what Spain - Germany will be.
924  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 30, 2022, 08:57:18 PM
Italy has nothing to play football for for the time being, as they are not allowed to participate in the World Cup. They could put everything on the Nations League, but how important do they think that prize there? They are the reigning European champions, so they may not care much about the Nations league title. I think other countries think the same way. In addition, the players have then had a World Cup, and also a tough competition (for 95% of the players of these teams), so they don't feel like it at all. They actually had vacation anyway instead of playing a few more games. Younger players are more ambitious, for them every prize counts more likely. I think Italy is the best team, but Croatia reached the final of the World Cup in 2018.
925  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: September 30, 2022, 08:48:19 PM
1.34 are good odds to bet on I guess? It's not that Bayern suddenly has a bad team, the performances are just disappointing. I don't remember which game it was, but they also drew a 1-1 game that should have been 6-1. If you look at those matches and that they did take advantage of the opportunities, then they would have been at the top and we would have looked at Bayern Munich in the rankings from a completely different perspective. The championship title is not in danger, but you never know of course. Would be nice if we got a surprise winner.
926  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling, tourism and legal gambling age for gamblers around the world. on: September 30, 2022, 08:39:30 PM
Most sites do monitor the age of the customers. However, that is unfortunately not always possible. There are sites that do not perform KYC, how can you determine whether someone is of the minimum playing age to be able to gamble? If we think of gambling with bitcoins, then that cannot be checked anyway. It is still verifiable for money flows that go through the bank or e-wallets. I think the KYC is the only option. In local casinos in cities it is easier to supervise since everyone there has to identify themselves when you walk in.
927  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you change your mind on gambling ? on: September 30, 2022, 07:33:23 AM
Some people have a certain image about gambling. If you don't gamble, it's much easier to use a more objective view of gambling, of course. Once you're in the position of gambling, it's hard to think objectively and rationally. Often you only think nice beautiful things so that you want and can continue to gamble. However, if you have lost your money, then the harsh reality soon emerges. Then of course it is already too late and after a few days you start to believe in your own dream world again.
928  Economy / Gambling / Re: I beat Duelbits on: September 29, 2022, 07:05:51 PM
Any player can be lucky enough to beat a bookmaker/casino. However, this will never take place on a structural basis, casinos and gambling sites have too much of an advantage for that. You may have a good streak once in a while, but the statistics don't lie and sooner or later you'll lose your winnings again. Duelbits is also a gambling site with a good reputation, so if you win at that casino you are lucky but you will receive your money relatively quickly. The casino that will never succeed, you could look with certain gambling strategies or you can win with sports competitions if you have good information.
929  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 29, 2022, 07:02:13 PM
We have the final 4, but who is actually the favourite? Italy, Croatia, the Netherlands and Spain. Those are 4 countries with an excellent selection. I don't think we have a favorite. Italy has had a bad period by missing out on the World Cup due to the elimination against North Macedonia. The Netherlands has already reached the final once, but Italy is the reigning European champion. You can expect everything from Spain. The title but also a defeat. When is the draw for the semi-finals? I understand that the matches are played in the Netherlands, which is a huge advantage for the Netherlands team.
930  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eredivisie 22/23 - discussion thread on: September 29, 2022, 06:58:56 PM
It all seemed and decided race. Ajax was doing very well in the Champions League and PSV has not even qualified for the CL. We now see that PSV has taken over and it is not so clear anymore. We should also take Feyenoord into account. Ajax is the favorite for the title, but PSV is closer than originally thought. If you become champion with that selection of Ajax, then that is a failure. The budget of Ajax is almost more than the rest of the Eredivisie put together. It is actually the Bayern Munich of the Netherlands, only they have a very bad start and Ajax a reasonable one. I also expect a few things from Twente.

I don't think it will be very exciting. We have only played few games in the league. We have seen crazier things in the competition in the Netherlands. Ajax may be having a hard time right now, but it has considerable status in the Champions League, which PSV has not been able to qualify for for a few years. The last national championships have also all gone to Ajax, based on that information we can easily conclude that Ajax is a much stronger team. Or just look at the market value of the players. It may be just as exciting until the winter break, after which Ajax will walk away from PSV and possibly Feyenoord.

Verstappen has already said that they are in no rush for the World Cup title, and that the focus is not there. I think he's right, he's already unofficial world champion, that title has long been celebrated behind the scenes. It's just a matter of waiting when he gets the title. I can't remember that an F1 driver with so much power has become world champion. Not even Senna and Schumacher. Perhaps Max has more talent than Senna and Schumacher, but that cannot be measured of course. It was actually a very boring season, it seemed to be a man 2 man fight between Verstappen and Leclerc but that was over after a few circuits.

Ronaldo was no longer a basic player for United. Since the arrival of Antony, he has been banned to the bank for good. I don't know if he will be banned altogether because of that incident, probably a few games suspension at most. He should have just gone to another club in the summer where he would get to play football. Why does he have to have such a big salary? He could also just settle for a slightly lower salary. Then he had the choice of clubs. There are plenty of nice clubs. Maybe Bayern Munich would have been a good alternative.
933  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Casino Licenses on: September 28, 2022, 07:40:54 PM
In principle, licenses are there to legalize the model of a gambling site. This means that there is no protection for players on the site. It's used purely to make sure it's all legal. You should not expect too much from gambling commissions, they have no sense at all. Of course it differs per organization, one will do more than the other. You have that problem with all gambling sites, some sites don't even have a license or don't show it.
934  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: About Casino Licenses on: September 27, 2022, 08:42:37 PM
There are many sites today that use a gambling license. I think that is also better for the appearance and professionalism of a gambling site. As a new customer, that is something you look at. The other side of the coin, however, is that it is not all that much. It is actually mainly intended that you can legally offer your gambling services with a gambling license. People often think that you then have a protected status as a player, but that's not how it works. At least not in practice. And crypto sites can grab a simple license, since no transactions take place through the bank or payment provider. You can have any license you want, but in the end it comes down to the status of a gambling site.
935  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i get banned for Card Counting in online casinos? on: September 27, 2022, 08:25:12 PM
Counting cards is no longer possible. All machines nowadays, but in the past it was done on a large scale. That has also cost many casinos a lot of money. By the way, you don't have the 100% certainty that you will win money every time, but according to the statistics you should eventually get a big advantage, such as 55-45 in your favor. That is different from being at a disadvantage the other way around. I don't know if casinos included that in the terms and conditions at the time. But if you try something similar now, they will quickly notice and they will kick you out of the casino and you will probably be blacklisted. It is, after all, a form of cheating.
936  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: September 27, 2022, 08:21:03 PM
The bookmakers can get back to work after the past games of the past few days (including today's games). What to think of all the title favorites that all disappointed 1 for 1? England even came 4th in their group, but are still seen as the favorites to become world champions. Made it to the semi-finals in 2018, but I don't see that happening anytime soon this year. France has also disappointed, but we have seen in the past that it doesn't matter much to them. Also happened in 2018 and then they became world champions. And Belgium also lost again against a mediocre team from the Netherlands. Only Italy impressed, but they are not at the World Cup. Spain also lost 1-2 to Switzerland, so tell me who is still the favourite  Grin
937  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 27, 2022, 08:18:29 PM
Although both teams have excellent players and attack, very little happens in the match between Portugal and Spain, 73 minutes played and still 0-0. There is a good chance that no goal will be scored at all. Too bad, we also saw this match at the 2018 World Cup and then there were no fewer than 6 goals and the final score also became 3-3. That won't happen anymore. It doesn't matter who goes to the final 4, both countries have their sights on the World Cup. They see it as a good practice match.
938  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My worst day in gambling on: September 25, 2022, 08:02:00 PM
Anyone who gambles experiences deep valleys and large peaks. You can't gamble and just have fun and win a lot of money. You have to be prepared that you will lose a lot of money, and think in advance what you want to do. Try to use some kind of management with your bank role, and certainly not play with large amounts. Play with money like you've actually already lost it so that it's really just for fun. In the long run, making rational decisions is no longer possible if you want to win back your lost money. It would be better not to start at all to prevent problems. Or don't play online and only take cash to a casino for entertainment.

October 1st then we have the Arsenal - Tottenham Hotspurs match. Curious how that will end. For Arsenal it is the first real showdown and for Spurs too. Who will keep the lead in the lead? Liverpool have had a bad start, but the last game in the CL was good again. It is striking that coach Erik Ten Hag has written off MacGuire, while he is always in the base at England's Southgate. I think this will be a very tough season for the English clubs because of the football world championship, the program is really just too busy. And in England they always have an overcrowded program due to the competition that has many teams and 10 other cups. And teams like City normally play until the end of the competition, so those players who have to make sure they don't get overloaded.
940  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The UEFA Nations League 2020/2021 Discussion Thread on: September 25, 2022, 07:43:56 PM
As mentioned, there are surprising results this weekend. But the most striking now seems to be the score between Denmark - France. That is 2-0 in favor of Denmark. There is, however, an explanation for this. I've seen the lineups and many players from France are normally not in the starting line-up. Mbappe and Griezman are in, but they are missing too many good players in midfield and in the back. That already indicates that France does not attach any priority to this tournament. I don't think they want to get injured. In the other matches we do not see many goals. What a boring night.
