1721  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EXCHANGE] Poloniex - Crypto Exchange with BTC/NXT on: November 07, 2019, 11:28:05 PM
Poloniex has finally updated their State License page:

They did this several months after they actually lost their license(s).

I strongly suggest people file complaints against Circle as well.  Your complaint will hit the scammers harder by filing against Circle rather than exclusively Poloniex.
1722  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: November 05, 2019, 12:45:43 AM
but one thing I think could be fun for pvp gambling would be large series of rock-paper-scissors against a single opponent. The only non-exploitable strategy in rock-paper-scissors is by playing purely randomly, but that is guaranteed to have no expected profit for either player. (So if someone is being lame and playing randomly, you could detect that and stop playing with them after a while). I think it could potentially be a fun pvp game, where the complexity is such it's be accessible both people and bots.   (Although really hard to know without having built such a thing to try it out)

Gambit used to have rock paper scissors... it wasn't provably fair or anything though.

Pretty sure I hold the record for winning the most BTC in a single match (5 or 10 BTC or something).

It was fun/stupid.  I'd do it again though.
1723  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: November 04, 2019, 06:51:40 AM
What do you mean by adding BitBay? I know it's a European exchange with several altcoins but there's no CLAM pair.

It have nothing with Bitbay coin. Compare logos of that products.

It's a stable coin altcoin.  Sorry, Xchange isn't about that life.  That altcoin isn't a great fit for us.

We hope to see you in CLAM though <3!
1724  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: FreeBitcoins.com BitcoinTalk Directory on: November 04, 2019, 06:50:07 AM

"Stable coins" seem to be invented to trick users into feeling safe and that seems sketchy and wrong. Our service prides itself on being purely a cryptocurrency to cryptocurrency P2P exchange. XCHANGE will never list, quote or otherwise use fiat, stable coins, company tokens, revenue-based cryptocurrencies or things of that nature."

It doesn't appear to be a good fit for us.
1725  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Game-Protect.com did not refund my money and stopped replying to my emails on: November 02, 2019, 10:24:15 PM
Thank you for confirming that a written contract does not exist, because written contracts require signatures from both parties and I am not able to see any! Cheesy

Look it is simple, real world people who have studied law do not spam signatures for cents! Cheesy

You don't get to be a weasel and not get griefed here. Sorry.
1726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [pre-ANN] lollypop token(LOLLY) re-brand to a new era on: October 31, 2019, 05:20:35 PM
This is the classic Indian spam!

Fixed it for you.

You're spamming to beat shit. Stop?  At LEAST have something of substance to say or a new update!  Fuck

1728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: October 30, 2019, 08:40:52 PM
Edit: I've heard from other CLAM users that yobit is just as trashy as poloniex when it comes to deposits / withdrawals. What's up with these exchanges being incompetent with blockchain tech?

currently the CLAM wallet on yobit still maintenance and we don't know how long they will fix this problem.
is freebitcoins.com exchange has an API? if you had it, we can request into CMC to list the exchange to their website

Yes, we have all the API calls live that CMC would need to list us I believe.

I wasn't going to ask them until we got more volume, but you are absolutely welcome to make them aware.

https://freebitcoins.com/xchange/api/ticker/BTC_CLAM
https://freebitcoins.com/xchange/api/market/BTC_CLAM
https://freebitcoins.com/xchange/api/ticker/BTC_DOGE
https://freebitcoins.com/xchange/api/market/BTC_DOGE
https://freebitcoins.com/xchange/api/markets

You can't trade with the API yet... we have a few things we need to do to that first.  However, you can get all the needed data.

(API trading is complete and active)  API instructions: https://github.com/FreeBitcoins-com/docs

1729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Just-Dice.com : now with added CLAMs : Play or Invest on: October 30, 2019, 05:15:34 PM

I'm the majority shareholder of this exchange and I flat out own FreeBitcoins.com.

I'm also the customer support bitch, so any problems... you deal directly with me atm.

Edit: I've heard from other CLAM users that yobit is just as trashy as poloniex when it comes to deposits / withdrawals.

Yobit is 1000x worse than Poloniex.  Do NOT deposit there.

I've been buying CLAM on TradeSatoshi and BTCPop the past few days with no issues.
1730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: October 30, 2019, 06:44:38 AM
Now the one million question, would this exchange affect the clam price on coinmarketcap? i don't think so.

Not yet.  It needs more time for people to warm up to it.

CLAM is far from dead but CMC isn't helping right now by only listing the shittiest exchange with 0 volume. Roll Eyes

Just use it as a good opportunity to buy.  Buy while expectations and hopes are low.  Sell when people start thinking there is something to it.
1731  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM - Blockchain.com & HackerOne.com didn't pay a major bug bounty & fixed bug. on: October 30, 2019, 05:02:20 AM
I'm sorry but you act like r/ChoosingBeggars.

I'll live.  I'm not begging.  No need to apologize.  I treated this exactly how I would want my website to be treated as well.

I just think it's wild to claim military security and have 2fa backups dump without reauthenticating.  Then on top of that claim that is how it's supposed to function.  Then offer $50 but demand personal information.  It's just an experience that needs to be documented IMO.  That's worth far more than the $6,000 cap on bug bounties.

They clearly won't pay and even if they pay, the reason will be:

- F*ck, this guy talks so much, pay his shit and make him shut up.

How about:

- Hey, this guy found a major flaw in our securities logic that put our customers at risks that could/would result in coins being lost & customers possibly physically hurt. We fixed it asap. Our bug bounty says $2,000-$6,000.  Lets do what we say we will do.

Not:

- Uhhh the feature performs as intended.
(1 day later)
- Actually we fixed it because we already knew about it and Google does it this way too.  (Google does not)
- Here is $50 for trying so hard, but... we need all your personal info to pay you $50 or you get jack shit!  Welcome to the Bitcoin community, thanks for making our website and community more strong... let us know if you see anything else! *an heros  Roll Eyes*

I just can't stand getting fed bullshit & lies.  Please don't confuse my bitching as begging.  End of the day, I would have given them this for free... I just dislike the deceptive bullshit.

"Currency not found or is currently disabled or is currently withdraw disabled."

Tradesatoshi when I try to withdraw Bitcoin.

CLAM worked for me though.
If any issues with withdrawal  please contact Tradesatoshi or raise a request in Tradesatoshi regarding your withdrawal issue in bitcoin and i think there is no issue with deposit or withdrawal in clams  coins.

CLAM deposits/withdraw work fine on Tradesatoshi, but the Bitcoin withdraws are currently disabled.  Tradesatoshi posts their wallet info here:  https://tradesatoshi.com/status

I just bought some CLAMS on Bitpop as well, withdraw was smooth.

If there's no major exchange volume with which to base the clam price off of, how do btcpop or others accomplish their price discovery at the moment?

All exchanges are based on users orders.

The exchange doesn't decide the price, they just give a playing field for others to name their own price.
1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][CLAM] CLAMs, Proof-Of-Chain, Proof-Of-Working-Stake, a.k.a. "Clamcoin" on: October 25, 2019, 01:47:08 AM
I talked to the mods at Altmarket on their discord and they said they gladly put it up but want the devs okay first.

It is absolutely OK.  Let them know if they need ANY assistance that the CLAM devs will be happy to help as much as possible. (I spoke directly to Xploited, the creator of CLAM.)

Future reference: No one needs permission to list CLAM.  The more the merry.  In fact, I'm going to ask that any service owner reading this does list CLAM.

At what day did the scam happen and how?

You do not have to know the exact date of something happening.

Here is a federal warning I got in regards to my stupid snail business... you'll notice that the FED's don't use firm dates either.

Fucking snail smuggler!  Roll Eyes (ops)
1740  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetKing.io is a blatant scam operated by Dean Nolan on: October 23, 2019, 04:50:56 PM
Here is what what Dean said:

As you will have likely seen BetKing has been offline for around a week.
BetKing will remain offline indefinitely with this being the last in a string of problems over the past year.

A serious issue was found last month after we launched a new dice site to test if a new brand would have more success than BetKing has had post ICO.

The new site was a clone of BetKing. We had been talking to investors about doing a series of sites like this with a shared bankroll and this one was released in time to try and capture traffic from yolodice.com who were closing their investment feature.

After a few days players had drained the bankroll and withdrew funds from the hot wallet.

After a review with the developers we found that there was an actual flaw in the code that allowed anyone to view their server seed and predict the result of their dice rolls, essentially being able to win every bet.
It turned out that this code had existed on BetKing also since January on both the dice and burst dice games and people had been using it to win bets undetected. It is not yet known if a developer added this code deliberately to cause abuse or if it was an honest mistake.
It wasn't until recently, after processing larger withdrawals and then finding the bug, that the discrepency in balances and funds available was noticed with now there being no funds left to process any remaining withdrawals.

At the time the site went offline there was a backup of all balances and pending withdrawal amounts captured.
There are around 20 bankroll investors who had more than $1000 on site, for a total of around $400,000.

This is a very new account for a very large claim.

I hope Dean is gone though.
