1721  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin is dead on: June 07, 2017, 06:13:59 AM
Neither bitcoin is dead nor it will die in coming years as price is going higher and higher and we can expect the same in future too so people who are thinking that bitcoin will die soon are really wasting an opportunity to invest in it at a right time.

It is definitely not dead currently, as millions of individuals are using Bitcoins right now. But I can't predict anything about the future. There is a chance that Bitcoin will be used by a large part of the world population. But there is also a chance that it will become dormant or extinct. If the latter situation happens, then those who invest in BTC right now will lose their money.
1722  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: June 07, 2017, 06:11:43 AM
Everyone can make a fortune, who will set this goal. And that person who thinks that wealth is evil, he will never get rich. He will not allow himself to do this. I believe that there will never be a situation where everyone is rich. And there will always be people who are willing to work even free of charge

If everyone becomes rich, then money will lose its value. Inflation will be like 1,000x. Imagine a situation in which everyone is a millionaire. Will he be willing to work for $15 per hour? There will be no municipal workers, cops, or soldiers. Even farming will come to a complete halt. A bag of rice can cost as much as 1 million USD.
1723  Other / Politics & Society / Re: In Qatar called "unfounded" the rupture of diplomatic relations with six countri on: June 06, 2017, 09:49:36 AM
Weird was that they tried to drag Bahrain into this and now Bahrain joined them against Qatar. I wonder how Qatar will survive this ganging they're receiving.

Bahrain is one of the poorest nations in the Gulf region, as they don't have any deposits of oil and gas. Their economy depends on trade with the Saudis. Many things which are prohibited in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait are readily available in Bahrain (especially liquor and women). So they will do whatever the Saudis ask them to do. No surprise there.

I have never thought about that in that way, I don't know Islam and I don't want to judge people with their religion either. What kind of things that are scientifically explainable that are not in accordance with the Islam religion?

I don't think that education will make much of a difference. Take the 2015 San Bernardino attack as an example. The perpetrators (Rizwan Farook and Tashfeen Malik) were well educated Muslims. Farook was born in the United States, and even attended the California State University, San Bernardino.
1725  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Scam or not? on: June 06, 2017, 08:09:24 AM
How would you judge if someone refuse to use escrow his reason ro refuse is that 20$ is a small amount of money.

I am cautious because people here will try to scam 0.01$ if they get the oportuinity

Bitcoin sector is full of spammers, due to the irreversible nature of the payments. In this forum, you can find thousands of threads dealing with scam accusations. That's why I always recommend an escrow, no matter how small the amount is. If the other party is averse to using an escrow, then please tell him to send the funds first.
1726  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I create a Bitcoin ATM? on: June 06, 2017, 08:06:38 AM
I've seen a few online but I know there aren't any here in my country. I was wondering, what exactly do you need to create one? how do they work? I think it's a good business opportunity but I'm how really sure how do they work. any help would be appreciated!
If you really need to buy bitcoin ATM machine it's really expensive and you need to be sure that nobody can steal it, because it's really possible that somebody would be intrested on that. Better to look at websites like this https://coinatmradar.com/shop/buy-bitcoin-atm/ they are selling this from 6800$

Purchasing a Bitcoin ATM and installing it is not that simple. There are laws, regulations, duties, and formalities to be taken care of. First of all, you need to chose which ATM you want. I prefer trusted brands such as Lamassu. Then you need to pay the import duty and other formalities. But before that, you need to find out whether it is legal in your country to install a BTC ATM. Sometimes a license may be required.
1727  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Noob looking for information on: June 06, 2017, 08:01:54 AM
If you are completely newbie, I would suggest to start with some of the faucets and get some bitcoins as you can understand how bitcoin works.

Faucets are just a waste of time and effort. The payouts are ridiculously low, and to reach the threshold you need to continuously visit the site for 60 - 70 days. And there is no guarantee that the site will not close down during this 60 days period. My advise is to increase the post count and activity, and then to join some sig campaign.
1728  Economy / Speculation / Re: what's best time to invest in bitcoin ? on: June 06, 2017, 07:46:09 AM
I don't believe in stupid myths such as time machine. So I will not give you answers such as I will go back to 2009 and purchase a million BTC at $0.001 per coin. Let's be realistic. Right now, BTC is going at around $2,850 per coin. IMO, it is unlikely to fall below $2,500 per coin anytime in the future. That means that right now it is a good opportunity to purchase Bitcoins.
1729  Economy / Economics / Re: So, you want to be rich? All of you ? on: June 06, 2017, 04:46:31 AM
There will always be a pyramid structure in the world, as far as the wealth distribution is concerned.

On the top, you will have less than 1% of the population, who are worth more than $1 million. And in the bottom most tier, you will have close to half of the world population, who struggle to meet their ends. This equilibrium must be maintained. Else, the economy will collapse, and it will result in anarchy and chaos.
1730  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC near $3k on: June 06, 2017, 04:42:49 AM
Yap and most investors are just already multimillionaire who would want to expand there investments.

How many became multi-millionaires as a result of BTC? To become a millionaire (i.e worth $1,000,000) just from Bitcoins, you need BTC350 in your wallet. There was a thread by the user rpietila, dealing with the BTC wealth distribution. According to it, only 14,000 people own more than 100 coins. I guess around 5,000 are having more than 350 BTC in their wallets.
1731  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am pretty confident we are the new wealthy elite, gentlemen. on: June 06, 2017, 04:38:49 AM
I wouldn't say that some average Bitcoin user is part of elite, especialy not the wealthy one. This term might refer to early adopters and some who hold maybe more than 50 Bitcoins at the moment. Besides Bitcoin wasn't made with purpose to be part of any kind of elite, at least I beleive so.

Even if you are holding BTC50, it doesn't makes you rich as per the standard definition. BTC50 is worth close to $140,000 as per the latest exchange rates. To become a High Net Worth (HNW) individual, you needs a total net worth of at least $1,000,000 or around BTC357 in Bitcoins.
1732  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it easier to buy drugs, guns, and child pornography with Bitcoin than USD? on: June 06, 2017, 04:35:09 AM
As per the Global Drugs Survey 2017, 60% of the global drug purchases are made from the deep web (don't know how reliable these stats are). But that doesn't mean that Bitcoin is used for 60% of the drug purchases. Lately, crypto-coins such as Monero has displaced Bitcoin a the preferred currency of trade in the dark markets.
1733  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what's the fees you pay every bitcoin trading? on: June 06, 2017, 04:32:32 AM
Fee of Sat 500/B? That is insane. I have never paid that much fees, ever since I started collecting Bitcoins. The maximum that I have paid is somewhere around 300 Sat/B. But normally, I pay only around 100 Sat/B and sometimes even less. It is not viable to pay a fee of BTC0.0005 on a transaction worth just BTC0.001.
1734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Choose altcoin for trading on: June 06, 2017, 03:57:52 AM
Normally I chose the currency pair with the highest trade volume, in order to prevent sudden fluctuations. Most of the time it is ETH vs BTC. But right now I am perplexed. Digibyte is showing up massive volumes for the past 2-3 days. DGB vs BTC is almost equal to the BTC vs ETH volumes right now.
1735  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Buying bitcoin pain in the ass. Next to impossible. on: June 06, 2017, 03:54:40 AM
So many identity documents and other obstacles are required in order to buy into bitcoin with usd or euro and if you make a mistake you get your money seized with no chance of a return. Are there any methods or ways around this?

Have you ever tried Localbitcoins or BTC-e? The former requires a phone number, but when I created an account 3 years back, they didn't asked for any ID proof. BTC-e is even better. They just need an email ID. You don't need to submit any ID proof, and even phone number verification is not needed.
1736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Shorting profitable??? on: June 06, 2017, 03:52:13 AM
Anyone doing shorting right now is potentially committing suicide. For the past 2-3 months, Bitcoin (and the other alts) have been on an upward journey. There have been a few dips here and there, but they were too mild and far between. I have a feeling that the time is not right for shorting. The rest is up to you.
1737  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: $10,000+ To Invest on: June 06, 2017, 03:49:32 AM
I would have said that ETH is too over-priced right now... But I was saying the same even when it was going at BTC0.018. Anyway, if you want to invest in crypto, then it will be a good idea to diversify your investment rather than putting all of your eggs in one basket. Go with the current crypto market cap. Invest 45% in BTC, 25% in ETH, 10% in XRP, and 20% in the minor alts.
1738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Educate me. How does a coin become "worthless"? on: June 06, 2017, 03:45:44 AM
Worse case scenario is BTC tanking.

Yes. This is the most important factor. The altcoin exchange rates are all linked to the BTC. The BTC vs Alt trade volumes are still many times higher than the Alt vs Fiat volumes. Alts will rise as long as the BTC exchange rates undergo spikes. But if a crash occurs with BTC, then the same will also be reflected with alts, although with an amplified severity.
1739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ripple(XRP) Destination $2.5 — It Won't Be Long Now—2017-06-05 — HosseinMansouri on: June 06, 2017, 03:43:00 AM
Good chart! Once it crosses above the psychological $1 mark, then can shoot fast to $2 or $3.
HODLing firm!

It is not impossible, but $1 per XRP would mean a market cap of around $35 billion, which is comparable with the current market cap of Bitcoin ($45 billion). To achieve that sort of market cap, XRP needs to attract a lot more users. It is not going to take time. At least another 12 months..
1740  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Religion of Peace in the Philippines. on: June 06, 2017, 03:40:37 AM
It's going to be a hard thing to stop, it's just that they have no respect for other religions anymore and that's what they firmly believe. Knowing that they have the money, guns, and other things that are illegal, they could've gotten it from the ISIS. They probably assisted them with their firearms and probably helped them do it and probably trained them (if they are like that). It's a matter of time that the military would regain back it's peace in Marawi.

I have no doubt that the army will seize control of Marawi. But what after that? There are a lot of Muslim majority areas in the Philippines, especially in the island of Mindanao. If one rebellion is suppressed, then another one is going to breakout. The government should be looking at a permanent solution, rather than temporary patch-ups.
