1741  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker bankroll building challenge. on: December 26, 2021, 02:55:43 PM
I can only say good luck with the challenge and be careful manage your money and do not use too big amount, even if you get free coins or money to start. Usually, when we can get free money or coins, we will not be careful instead use it all-in at once because we think that we can get another free coin or money. You will screw yourself if you think like that and in the end, you will deposit your money. That is because gambling can easily tempt you to use your own money instead of just hoping for free money. So be careful.

Yes, best of luck to OP. He may be doing it out of fun or to prove something and challenge himself, but for whatever reason it is, I could only say good luck to him as well. I don’t know how this will go, but I will stay tune and check on OP’s update regarding it, if there’s a progress with this mission or trip of him. I just hope that OP will make good use of what he will earn and be wise in deciding what to do next.
1742  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Poker bankroll building challenge. on: December 26, 2021, 10:53:11 AM
With a free roll program it seems almost impossible to really achieve anything. I do remember that there was an American poker professional who turned 10 $ into 1000 $. Not sure about his name, it was around 2010 I think. The guy with the cowboy hat. That could theoretically still be possible. Very difficult from Freerolls. Worth trying. Maybe it's better to try a strategy with low stakes?
1743  Economy / Economics / Re: Sharing and helping others on: December 25, 2021, 06:17:21 AM
And speaking of AR-blockchain based P2E game, there’s also another one called SafeHamsters and is using the Binance Smart Chain. The early access version is already available on the Google Play Store. I played it myself using Nokia 6.1 (which supports AR-based games) and so far it was good.

Yes I agree that this is one of the fun ways to introduce people in crypto. When I have shared this to my Facebook story, a few have responded asking me what game is that lol.

Here in the Philippines, I believe the one that made crypto go mainstream is play-to-earn games like Axie Infinity. Years ago, only a handful of us are adopting or taking it seriously. Even airdrops won’t really convinced a lot of non-believers until the play to earn and NFT scenes are in play. It did helped a lot of Filipinos during the pandemic until now and the rest is history.

I couldn’t agree more with you. Especially that many people are really inclined and enticed to playing games, and so what more if they could earn by playing. Indeed, this has been and still is a good strategy in introducing crypto to the public, encourage them to adopt it, all while also giving them the simplicity and fun side of it. Through such, learning crypto has been also made fun.
1744  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2022 betting thread on: December 25, 2021, 06:08:08 AM
lol for the image above. but she's the favourite with that odds.
just place your bets the day before, so you don't have to wait long. for sure, most top bookies here will have this line up. if this new covid strain will have bad impact in the coming months, they may delay this event again. so yeah, dont bet early.

Actually, this is what I am thinking to do this time. I honestly do not have any particular bets yet, for some reason I cannot fathom which is which among these choices. It’s as if I am not satisfied with such options. Anyway, I am planning to just wait the day before to place my bets, so I won’t have to think too much about it and be able to know the bets of the majority.
1745  Economy / Gambling / Re: Search for sports betting partners on: December 25, 2021, 05:46:53 AM
Pretty sure that's 99% of what YOU found. That doesn't mean that all bookmakers are scammers. It's just that maybe some are rather unsuitable for what you need or well, you guys just don't meet eye to eye, simple as that. I've mostly tried stake and nitrogensports, though seeing as you already name-dropped them I'm guessing they didn't suit the stuff that you need.  It might be better OP to list out some of the bookmakers you've tried so that others can easily filter out what you've tried and what they've tried. That, or well, just list out some specific ones you want.

I have the same thoughts as you. Maybe these 99% scam cases being mentioned are based on what OP have searched and seen, which is contrary to what most of us encountered. It cannot be denied that scams are rampant nowadays, but there are still good and reputable sites. I second the idea that OP should list the bookmakers he is talking about, so we could all react and give our inputs regarding those.
1746  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: December 25, 2021, 05:38:25 AM

Indeed. Giving them the privilege and responsibility of controlling and making use of their freedom in learning bitcoin is better than spoon-fed teaching method. Newbies would learn to think critically and analyze things on their own, unlock the gaps on their knowledge, and be able to make their own decisions. Spoon feeding brings out the laziness of people, most of the time, and being too reliant to others can hinder them to grow and really  learn.
1747  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bitcoin the king on: December 24, 2021, 12:50:38 PM
Its very difficult to overthrow the Bitcoin. Even Etherium which is first Blockchain based project amd many projects working under it , not defeated bitcoin.
Bitcoin is now more popular and safe than any other crypto. Its usecase is high as compare to other tokens.
Whenever we talk about cryptocurrency, Bitcoin will be the first we will talk about that.

Bitcoin most definitely is seen as the king of all cryptocurrencies. Its popularity being being the first known and trusted cryptocurrency has made and keep Bitcoin to say on top. I think that one way or the other,  Bitcoin will always be part of any crypto portfolio there is, and part of each person’s mind.
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will MEME coin rule the world? on: December 24, 2021, 12:35:30 PM
Indeed, there are meme coins that gained popularity and are being successful, but I don’t think that these can rule the market nor the world as OP was asking. While I do believe that there will be definitely more meme coins to come, these will just come and go. Investing on such must be done with precaution, and if the intention is to take advantage of the trend then calculated and educated moves must be set.
1749  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to explain Bitcoin to Newbies on: December 24, 2021, 12:25:55 PM
Information online is very helpful if one wants to learn, in fact, we can educate ourselves without a problem as long as we are resourceful enough to search for the necessary information to help us improve our knowledge. Explaining to a newbie should be easy, just go with the basic and let them do the rest, the more they dig deeper, the more information they'll know and that would help them more intelligent when it comes to investing.

I agree. The internet has enormous information about bitcoin and cryptocurrency in general. Also, many known personalities, brands and companies have been into cryptocurrency during these times that is why there has been more input regarding it. It’s just important to note that such information should still be filtered based on the legitimacy of the sources.
1750  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: December 24, 2021, 11:42:07 AM
They have already acknowledged their mistake and blamed their database and said it had errors. While you might see this as a small mistake, we all are not aware to how many problem gambler Stake is doing this. Problem gamblers are probably their main source of income and they should not target excluded account for their promo mails. There is no casino that is allowed to do this.

I get why OP is making a big deal out of this. Based on the response of the casino, they had little to no remorse to the impacts of even the simple error of sending promotions to gamblers undergoing such situation. These gamblers are vulnerable, and OP for one, perhaps felt being taken advantage for his weakness to temptation brought about his condition.

Thing here is that someone should really have at least some time on making out some research
and it doesn't really cost you an arm and leg honestly for you to saved up your ass.

I couldn’t agree more with you. Doing some background research on any site that a user, especially newbies, should be really a protocol so concerned party can practice due diligence in protecting themselves from getting scammed. Thank you for these attached links btw, I hope users here will check them out to get informed more.
1752  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: December 23, 2021, 03:18:49 PM
Well, if any gambling authority fines Stake.com and they will not follow the procedures this will have consequences.

If this case will be officially acknowledged by the authorities as a violation of stake.com, then no doubt that they would have to face the consequences and compensate you for all the damages that they have inflicted. But, until that happens, we could only wait then.
1753  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Real reasons to Why do you gamble? on: December 23, 2021, 03:13:35 PM
Mostly the reason was for fun but deep inside they will be trying their luck to win big amount of money for living. That is not bad reason since i do have a friend that is doing gambling for a living which i am really amazed. People have their own reason why do they gamble but i my self i do gamble for money at the same time fun because the adrenaline rush that you will be experiencing is very un explainable and also this is the only chance to win big and improve life

I agree with you. As much as I am having fun that’s why I keep staying to gamble from time to time, what makes it more enticing for me are the winning moments. I just want to be real that gambling has been made more fun for me because of the monetary rewards that I get whenever I gamble. And just like what you said, the chance to win big and instantly.
1754  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Stake.com & responsible gambling? on: December 23, 2021, 03:03:29 PM
Thats not what the case is about, ofcourse everyone can tell me to just delete those emails, sadly I didnt do this and I am easily triggered by such marketing, you cant judge every individual by how the react to something. The problem is that Stake was not allowed to sent promo emails to excluded problem gamblers.

I understand your sentiments, and I can also agree that stake.com has caused to be emotionally injured, as the triggers were mentioned. However, just like what the representative that you talked to in the live chat support said, and many others here in the forum, you really did  have the power to unsubscribe or disregard any of those promotional emails. Again, we are aware that gambling addiction is not a simple case, thus even the slightest of things can trigger and make it worse. But honestly, I don’t think that stake.com will accept paying that fine you were talking about, based on my observation on their response.
1755  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When and how did you discover Bitcoin? on: December 23, 2021, 02:36:47 PM
If I remember it correctly, I first discovered Bitcoin way back early 2014-2015. And it is because a dear colleague of mine was very curious and passionate to explore the internet, so by the time he discovered it, he eventually shared it to me. I wouldn’t be where I am today without him, and I really did enjoy every bit of my time learning and earning since I knew Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies in general.
1756  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitstarz Need help getting my deposit back/credited on: December 23, 2021, 02:27:19 PM
If they had done some research first then they might have able to avoid on being scammed or facing up some headaches due to those kind of issues and its true that Bitstarz does have lots of issues back in the past on where a simple research would really able to tell you this and if you have able to read up then its just common sense that you would really avoid it and find another one which is more reputable and been trusted into this market.

That being said, it is vital then to spread the information regarding the operations of Bitstarz, such as this. I am thinking that there could be more people who have fallen for this, other than OP, and those who are planning to transact with this casino must be warned and informed. Research could indeed help, but sometimes people doesn’t pay much attention unless it is clearly obvious, like right in front of their faces.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this what we have become? Bitcoin is Shiba`s Altcoin now?! on: December 22, 2021, 01:15:49 PM
I think there's no problem with it promoting his own coin after all I think the SHIB founder and its team are doing something to make things that would really contribute to the crypto industry also in terms of trading if we look at the daily chart of SHIB I really think it's the end of its dip and it's really now a good chance of buying SHIB as a long term investment.
1758  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop or continue trading on: December 22, 2021, 01:12:20 PM
I have lost all my capital to trading but still yet I feel the urge to trade more, I spent a huge capital to trade some new coins recently and was actively involved in spot trading. But recently I lost all my capital and I decided to give a break but now am feeling I should return back to trading.

I supposed you were trading with leverage that's why your capital are lost? I think you should restudy trading and read books regarding about it as far as I know you are supposed to trade only 1%-5% of your total capital. Also, I think there is a problem with you it's like gambling urging to initiate again on something after you receive a damage.
1759  Other / Archival / Re: Crypto Casino for Web 3.0🦉OWL GAMES🦉EVM & Solana -Metamask & Phantom Support on: December 22, 2021, 01:04:48 PM

1760  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com - Unfair and unethical. on: December 19, 2021, 04:57:07 PM
I don't think OP will come back here any time to explain anything to us or answer questions. It seems that this account was only used to create this thread and that is the end of his story. See that since opening that thread, he hasn't logged in even once. It was just his alt account to create this theather.

You are right. Now that you’ve mentioned it, it really made sense. That being said, it only means that we will never find out the answers on any questions we have been posting here, and neither we can get anything out of this thread.
