Oh Yeah congrats you are about to take over a Coin with promising Specs, so here is my plan i made for Toni, it may be a good start. (i know you aren't that helpless its not your first coin, i primary list it, because i made some notes inside, where i could offer help and so on) General, you need help or you are stuck somewhere PM me and i am here to help immediately. You may send/PM me your contact details especially you Landline Phone Number and i will call you back and we can get into details.
I may even engage more in three weeks after my "Federated Blockchain" project launched and we got to know each other IF INTERESTED READ: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=901605.msg14245798#msg14245798
PROPOSAL: 1) clone the git repository to get control over the sourcecode (invite me) 2) Buy as much cheap Xemp as you can, this will fund your work, when price goes up (if you trust yourself a sure bet) 3) setup a website for the coin, tell its story (i may be able to help) 4) then open a new [ANN] thread and claim the takeover and make a nice complete OP (Firstpage) 5) open a crowdfunding to secure the coin with a permanent node at bitnodes.net (highly recommend, so you don't have to worry, your work is busted by vacations season) 6) get xemp listed on Yobit, to be free from empoex and get trades going (IMPORTANT) 7) Make a bounty in xemp for getting a Deveoper in (but as i know you may not need alexius89)
Cool ... have fun Matthias.

RELEASE CANDIDATE PUBLIC TESTWindowswallet "Release Candidate" is out for public Test. Everybody, who used the "Rewind Blockchain" functoin please resync. Tell us how it works for you.
thank you to the developers for their hard work thank you to the community for being the most supportive bunch of people i ever experienced DOWNLOADhave fun Matthias WoW! good work all. nice to see a (hopefully) working windowswallet again. really impressed by the support and kind words here aswell even thou it hasnt been a smooth ride, people hang in and stay put. I like it! again cudos on the great work. Is the nodes on first page up to date so its save to use them now aswell? or how is the .conf supposed to look like now, been away for a while when wallet was broken anyway . (besides that great work on the first page clean up also. much easier to find stuff now) Yes we are progressing , chain moved over the critical block, witch proves, we have understood the problem. In our own test-environment we now managed to go till 98 % but stuck then. That's not the bug and its expected to happen! Let me explain a bit more in depth whats happening:
The bug is solved, but it left its traces in the chain. So we are adjusting a tolerance of one of the rounding functions, of the checkpoint and proof of stake mechanism. That means, you may see one or two more upgrades happening in very short times (hours or a day) to adjust this variable and to find out the most secure size of this tolerance. New adjustment just happened, next wallet after compile is done.
We will be back at 100% before this week ended and then we are also save in future,
have fun Matthias.

can DMD users send € via sepa powered by DMD already?
DMD, ERC (pending wallet finding connections), BTC, NOBL and NOXT can. Other coins cannot until support has been enabled/purchased via NOXT by their supportive communities - similar to exchange voting. The NOXT is burnt in the process. A page will be made live for that this week. may be helpful for ERC: we released a new Version yesterday wit Hardcoded seednodes and some checkpoint fixes and stake rounding error fixed: https://github.com/EuropecoinEUORG/EuropecoinV2these are our main nodes: addnode=stratum.infernopool.com addnode=23.227.190.77 addnode=194.135.93.49 addnode=194.135.92.209 addnode=104.255.33.55 fresh Blockexplorer to compare your chain: http://www.europecoin.eu.org/europcoin-info-resources/blockexplorerIf you still have Problems PM me, i am here and help immediately thank you Matthias .

DMD Diamond and Europecoin will be like Noblecoin and NOXT from day 1 a full supported coin at Noblepay app thx to to long term agreement to involve the coins in each other projects lets see in how many more ways in the future we will see DMD and NOBLE and ERC side by side Diamond used its weight to get Europecoin in, at an early stage of this great project. We both felt immediately that this project has been highly underestimated ... and we have been right. Thank you for your support.
have fun Matthias .

There's a new sheriff in town and this "Bug" is going down for good. despite from sync (looks good) we found another bug yesterday and fixed it, now code cleanup, and we hired a seednode server witch is now hardcoded, after final test we are about to release, hopefully today, (omg please please today) can hardly wait to have this project running without the handbreak pulled all the time Matthias .

i ment second, (the static blabla bla) i know the lines and i thought you would have trick to overwrite them on the fly, Thank you Matthias
No trick, you have to recompile the sources But there are coins which implemented this in their RPC calls. If I remember correctly, PayCon has something like "setstakesplitthreshold" command you could run in the debug window if you use QT wallet, or from command line if you run daemon. Actually that's an interesting idea. I can implement this as a command-line parameter / config file parameter - that should be pretty easy. Just not sure whether this is really needed for XEMP no but a deveoper as maintainer is needed, you sound like one, any interest? Have fun Matthias Thanks for the offer, Matthias I am indeed a C/C++ developer (at least I worked in different related positions for the last 20 years), but my expertise is in very different field, which has no relation to crypto at all. So I suppose I am not the one whom you really need here. And.. the main part - you know better than anyone else, what altcoin support could mean for a truly responsible person... Deep involvement in any coins' development is something out of my plans currently. I like your style though never mind, thank you for liking my style see you in my thread Matthias .

What is BitSend's part in the federation of coins
Maybe its a good idea, that i drop some words about the relationship, that is currently building up
1) Bitsend/Europecoin This is a Partnership where we are joining forces as independent projects. As an example: I have a quite good marketing experience and some webprogramming skills, but our wallet programmer is unreachable from time to time. So Chris is helping with his programming skills while i am optimizing his public communication capabilitys, Like currendly building a new Website with support-ticket-system. At the moment he really saved my day by doing this.
In short its a friendship among two projects and their maintainers.
2) Federated Blockchains Federated Blockchains is jet an Idea in development.
Its the Idea of making an universal compatible sidechain to unify the access of altcoins to Apps and Services by providing an extension to the coins RPC command-line. In the next weeks i will publish a paper that outlines the idea and names some technical solutions, i already found during my research. During my research i collected and invited interested developers to meet then and to discuss the paper. Some passionated already joined and share the vision. Chris is one of them, together with Diamond foundation, Alberto from Staisybit and others. And that's all for now. There is the goal, to form a Team, but we are in the planning stage.
I hope i cleared some things up i am happy about our collaboration have fun Matthias

windows wallet? federated blockchain initative first draft paper? i delayed the paper in favor of the windows problem and we hopefully managed to have it solved since yesterday, we are just waiting for Alberto to compile it. I asked him yesterday and it drives me freaking crazy too, that it isn't done yet. Anyway i will return to the paper tomorrow (can hardly wait) , windows bug was just more urgent and trust me, it occupied my mind and my soul ... already dreaming about this bug. I already managed to be independent of Alberto in developments terms, and since then things are moving again ( thank you Chris). But still Alberto is the only one who managed to do the windows compile. As soon as Chris managed to make a separate build environment (his coin uses a different core) we will also get rid of that dependence. My full commitment didn't change, nothing can hold us back, less and less can slow us down.
have fun Matthias

I am curious too... 850241 is one of the 'magic numbers', which was causing the trouble in my wallet. Yes, i see now a error. We 've a incorrect stake on block 850242. 0.12892739 .... vs calculated=0.12892714 da hell...u see everything...WOW...let me know, if I shall test something...
HERE IS THE BAD GUY:
its a rounding error in the proof of stake process Source of the error fixed, plus implemented a little tolerance to make is less sensible. Now compiling and then ....

For transparency, you have to make sure that the wallet is working 100%, my wallet does not exceed 92.70% done !!!
please read the posts before, everything is answered here, you haven't even to scroll, to find out, that we are feeling no different. Also you will also see, that there is no lag of engagement in our team, to solve this.
Bugs happen and some are nasty, this one surly is one of those. This may slow us down, but it won't stop us.
We are spending great effort to make this OP and this thread a source of information. (just for the same transparency, you demanded) Please use it! It makes you feel saver too. Lay back and watch us. We are always moving ... just for you and for our cause.
Windows wallet is currently not syncing over 92% and its not a feature, its a bug ... Matthias edit: Hy Methamorphin
@dac10 i hope this responsiveness gives you a good idea, that you are dealing with a motivated and responsible team, that cares. .

Did someone say Windows Wallet??? Yes!
yeah wish us luck sync should be done later today. So its getting exciting, this bug held us back for a long time, but if you look at our Github you can see, we never stopped a single second fighting.
https://github.com/EuropecoinEUORG/EuropecoinV2
Lets hope we can now enjoy the outcome. I can't wait to step forward, with some peace in mind. It's definitely more fun to announce ideas and innovations, when everybody is able to enjoy them. have fun Matthias . Wish you all the luck in the world. It took a while but it's nice to hear you and the team finally got this nasty bug solved.. Keep my fingers crossed that you will succeed and will try the new Wallet as soon as it's available. But better taking some days extra and know for sure it's all fixed than release a 'Half fix'. Good luck with the last stages of this annoying issue. Jerry you nailed it, found another one beginn testing again ... its frustrating, but we are getting closerhave fun Matthias . Once all these nasty bugs are solved, Europecoin will have a rocksolid wallet! That's a real asset. Keep up the good work guys! we will for sure, this bug feels some kind of unfair, but hell, whats fair at all, no bug survived for ever ... Thank you for being with us, we keep you up to date.
Matthias. So now, all my tests failed... Now we wait for the next fixes and we compile from new... Steve We are already on our way, next debug output will be ready today, all our resources are dedicated to solving this, it makes no sense to step forward with Federated Blockchains before this isn't done. Federated Blockchain doesn't depend on a timeframe jet, but the windows wallet does. LIMXdev is doing a great job debugging, i am very optimistic about his work. We are communicating in realtime all over the day. Its a VERY different workflow instead of begging for weeks as i did before
as ever: I keep you up to date hourly as thinge happen, we will get this f$%king sh$&t done Matthias

Thank you very much for the Blockexploerer. I am impressed by the ongoing process of providing useful services to the altcoin community. One more reason to be happily holding and holding and holding my Flycoins. Fly has ones again proven to be much more the just another coin, but a driver for the whole altcoin community.
feeling privileged and always with you Matthias
