1741  Economy / Services / Re: [OPEN] bmy.guide's Postcard Campaign $15,000 Overall Prize and $500 Bonus Today! on: December 18, 2019, 11:14:57 PM
Nice concept. I read all through the articles. To read the article to me third human behaviour, is searching for peace/comfort.
Nowadays everyone is busy with his own work. Sometimes we can't spend time with our family because of a heavy workload. So after a certain period of time, I think every human being might realize they need some vacation. That's the time he or she is obviously searching for peace to spend some quality time with quality places.

Let me give it a try. My answer is intuition. Before going further, here's a definition of intuition :

Quote
intuition is the ability to acquire knowledge without having to use critical reasoning

Humans are naturally driven by curiosity. Nothing beats the hunger to experience new stuffs. Driven by this, we often develop knowledge about any thing whether it's the first day at a new job or a first day in a new school, we often get things going without the need for much help and dependence on people, social media or even search engines like Google. Phrases like "Hunch", "Aha!", "I felt it in my gut ", "I had a feeling" etc. That said, when we're faced with new stuffs like getting to a new location, we often rely on our intuitive knowledge to help us get through. That is why, it's an essential human need – it aligns well with the need to find information using social media and search engines.

Thank you for your answers but kindly fill up the form to submit your answers officially.

(Link can be found on the first post as well)

I read the article which was a great read(Did not find it long at all) and answered the question. However, the campaign itself needs major changes to the rules in my opinion.

- Disclosing the location goes against the very nature of crypto which is why the rewards need to be worth it which they clearly aren't.
- The pay rate of 10 cents per post is way too low and needs to be increased to something more reasonable.
- Posters cannot post a minimum of 20 such posts per week since this is not your average campaign.

These are some suggestions from my side.

Thank you for your suggestions, I will surely forward these to the team. However, bmy.guide was built to help travelers and tourists on their journey, having an exact location on each photo/image is what would help those travelers and tourists using the platform as it acts as their "Guide" hence the name of the platform: bmy.guide ("be my guide"). Not knowing the location of the photo/image of a certain tourist spot/hotel wouldn't help anybody at all. Grin

Imo, it is way better if bmy were very careful in choosing the participants, hiring few participants but of high quality (instead of hiring an horde of spammers posting random photos for 0.10 usd). As this campaign does not take place in bitcointalk, bmy could hire the best posters here (which are already in other sig campaigns).

Yes, we intend to screen the applications and only accept high quality participants. This isn't a free for, all post all you can campaign.  Wink

What he meant is disable the google form to have multiple responses. I guess that's on the setting of the google form, you just have to click the "icon setting" on the top-right corner of the form and it is under the "General" tab then click again "Limit to one response". So far if I open the form again I can still answer it but if you follow the guide I give that wouldn't be the case anymore and that prevents trolls to troll the form (I have a hunch there will be). Hope that will clarify everything.

Thanks answer form updated.

Is this a proper thread to post the ultimate question? since  if yes then my answer for that and only guessing is

Edit: I found the form and submitted my answer already.
Thank you for participating.

Very difficult and absolutely disadvantageous conditions for participation. Moreover, participants should leave links to posts themselves. Review this if possible.

Could you clarify which part you think is "disadvantageous conditions for participation"? Is it the rate? or the actual task of posting a photo/image on the platform? 'Cause I see no problem with doing that, it only takes a few seconds to upload a photo, add a location and a little description on bmy.guide platform.
Such tasks are normally used for bounty campaigns on altcoin sections. Ex. Post something on facebook, copy link to that post and post on the bounty thread as a way of submitting reports. This is done to avoid cheaters.

BTW, Increasing the rates and setting limitations is currently being discussed with the bmy.guide team.
I'll update you guys if ever the rates are increased.

Based on the article you've read, answer the question:
What do you think is this third human behaviour, perhaps the most complex of all?

Clue: When you move to a new city and know neither the place nor anyone there, the first period is a time for accumulation of new knowledge and for acquaintance with new friends and associates.
This is implied by the behaviors we have explored above and is the same for our online as it is for our physical life. But something else is essential during this period of new exploration. What else will we need to do?

1744  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [IEO] bmy.guide | Connecting Travellers All Around The World 🛵 on: December 18, 2019, 05:12:03 AM

This campaign will offer prizes in BTC, Fiat, Guide Coins, and the next 72 hours will be officially made with the details described.
Thank you very much for your questions

The point is that this project will have 2 campaigns which are paid using tokens and managed by julerz12.
Then the second one uses BTC, Fiat and guide coins, what does this guide coin mean?
Is the second campaign paid btc for only competition?

The new upcoming campaign will be in Bitcoin and Guide Tokens (bmy.guide's native token) only. No Fiat.
There's also another prize to those who make high contributions to that specific campaign.
Details about the said campaign will be announced very soon. We're just finalizing things up.

I am curious, what campaign will start in 3 days. Perhaps it will attract more people to invest in this travel-related project. I will follow the next updates.

It will. Also, It will surely attract people who loves travelling. Stay tuned for the announcement. It will be launched very very soon.  Grin

1746  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Crypto - New Year's Resolution - Win some Bitcoin! on: December 18, 2019, 12:56:34 AM
My "Crypto-New Year's Resolution" for year 2020

1. "Learn More About Crypto-world"
I've been wanting to learn more about Cryptocurrencies and cryptography 'cause in these fields, there's so much to learn at hinding-hindi ka talaga mauubusan ng bagong matututunan everyday.
2. "Learn how to code"
'Eto talaga isa sa mga frustrations ko. I really wanted to learn how to code, even the simpliest coding will do.
3. ""Time Management"
Proper time management is also what I badly needed.
I'm a stay at home dad, doing a bunch of freelance jobs online (including crypto-jobs) and at the same time, attending to my 2 kids and their daily needs.
BTW, One of them happens to be a 1-year old baby. You could imagine what that felt like.  Cheesy
4. "More Patience, more chill"
I easily get frustrated and angry when I ran out of patience especially when dealing with idiots in crypto-world. LMAO
I wanted to change this.

So, that's all there is to it, wala masyadong special sa mga yan.  Grin
1747  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: We are Chinese community site bountypr.com on: December 18, 2019, 12:22:32 AM
I'm glad you agree. We are just to make more high-quality projects accessible to the Chinese community. Don't look at it with any suspicion.
We also have a choice according to the project, and do not welcome the garbage and deceive the publicity of the project.
Welcome to send me an email or communicate with TELEGRAM.

Well, In all fairness, you can't really ask someone not to be suspicious of such things, 'cause nowadays, nothing is free.
Translating something like an announcement thread, whitepapers or any other documents from any project is a tedious task (been there done that  Cheesy ), plus free publishing service and you are offering all these for free? I take it you're doing this to bring more traffic to your website? Well, if what you say is true and as long as it is 100% free, then there's no harm on trying to acquire your services. I might shoot you a pm and discuss something relevant to this topic.  Wink
1748  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: New Ethereum DEX with unique features. Is it useful? on: December 17, 2019, 12:16:23 AM
I'm an engineer working on a DEX with a friend of mine. We're nearly done, but in true engineer fashion we've developed the tech before seeing if there are people who would use it. If you could let me know if you see any value in this or not, or what else you'd like to see, that would be really appreciated. Here are the core features:
- Free, completely
- Ethereum ERC20 tokens only (no BTC / other chains)
- Can list any ERC20 token without registration approval (it's decentralized so, there's no central authority on what can be listed)
- Leverages liquidity from Uniswap if the token pair you're looking for isn't being traded yet
- Can facilitate Auctions/ICOs/STOs and inherently turns all of these into IEOs
- Direct swaps with friends

The first three features seem to be a general feature of DEX's especially those which are built within Ethereum network so that won't be an advantage of your version of DEX.
The other three, however, seems great. Could you explain a bit much further how this "Direct swaps with friends" works? Does your DEX also have a social media platform feature to it? Making it available to add certain users as "friends"? or this is just plain P2P trading?  Cheesy
1749  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: Experience The Future Of Investments on: December 16, 2019, 02:43:59 PM
Reposco is transforming the way you invest. Backed by blockchain technology, Reposco offers users with streamlined and transparent investment plans. Additionally, users will be able to enjoy weekly dividends. Become a part of the revolution today, register for the Reposco ICO now!

I couldn't see any information of any team members or developers team, even any CEO. For real projects plan is very important and also need strong developers team member. Without team member and real partnership this project can't success.

I see this project does not prove anything could this be just a scamer or a developer and a team that does not know anything so their marketing is not so sure right, surely everyone asks about the team to build the project but the OP did not answer once to this thread where was he?

Busy creating another thread trying to sell their ICO  Cheesy here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5209973.0
Don't expect too much out of this project.
These people keep talking about transparency when you can't even see a single detail about who's behind this project. That alone doesn't promote transparency at all. How ironic LMAO
1750  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] MesChain | MES | IDEX Cointiger Vindax SWFT Blockchain-Revain RVN on: December 16, 2019, 12:26:38 PM
Is this the official ann thread? 'cause I just saw another thread posted here. There's really no point in creating another ann thread, just update this one instead of creating multiple threads, that's against forum rules you know.

1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Reflex - The reinvented social media ecosystem w/ Mobile Cloud Mining App on: December 16, 2019, 11:14:06 AM
The problem with creating this type of project, a social media ecosystem is that you need a whole lot of people using your platform for it to succeed and I'm not just talking thousands, you need millions to be even recognized as a popular social media platform and compete with some of the giants we have now. Seeing as how the team is even hesitant to get this project's token listed to a decent exchange and spending a few funds tells us there's no guarantee they would even consider a very aggressive marketing stunt to promote their platform and gather enough users. Bottom line is, you can't just have a good project, you need a good marketing plan as well. Otherwise, this would only end up like those many aspiring social media platform projects created in the past, abandoned and dead AF.

We'll that's a very good consideration.
We have a marketing plan, and we'll apply it as soon as our platforms are ready (we are developing them right now).

Sure, if you say so. BTW, you guys actually have a beautiful looking website, maybe start by utilizing those designs on the website and putting it on this announcement thread, you know, to make it more vibrant than this currently bland ann thread you have. But before you could do that, you'll need to purchase copper rank upgrade first in order to post images (details here).
Also, how will the funds be used? I can't seem to find any details about it on the website. Tokenomics and use of funds should be clearly visible on the website itself rather than having your viewers search for it on the wp.

Well anyways, it seems quite here now that the bounty campaign has ended (those signature campaign participants no longer post here  Cheesy )
Any news when will the official listing of HDX? I guess it will be listed on Hydax itself correct?
It would be weird for it to get listed on a random DEX when you guys tried so hard to build a CEX.  Grin

It's either your an idiot or just lazy AF to even think someone would actually fall for this shitty lame-ass trap of a project you're presenting here.
I mean come on, you could have at least put some effort into it. LMAO
The only things you'll be getting here for promoting this shit are flags and a ton of negative trusts.

1755  Economy / Services / Re: I can assist in cryptotalk.org bounty on: December 15, 2019, 01:19:45 PM
Ok fine.
Suggest me some other services which can benefit me ?
Sorry, I was too late to respond to your request. I see some people who are happy to recommend you some services that you can also try.
1. Translation Service
2. Management Campaign
3. Escrow
4. Design Avatar, Signature, Ann Thread
5. Etc

You can also try to be like hundreds of other people who provide services here, you just have to have the right talent. Manage your account appropriately and make yourself a person who is able to provide benefits to the forum and other users, so you will more easily get money. You just have to try.

Suggesting OP to try and run an escrow service would probably raise more eyebrows than him offering this "cryptotalk assist" service he currently has especially when his account here is still a newbie.
Also, to run an escrow service, one has to be very reputable and have already handled numerous escrow transactions in the past.
OP needs to establish his account first before even thinking of running an escrow service.

Hm..Against KYC huh. A good stance for now, but when regulations caught up with you guys, are you sure you'd still be able to stay firm to this belief? Well, I certainly hope so.
Also, don't you guys think it's long overdue to push an aggressive marketing stunt for Graviex?
I've been telling you guys to run even just another round of bounty campaign here to promote this exchange but it seems nobody is listening.

We have a project development plan and we intend to follow it. What kind of advertising do you offer?

I'm not really offering you guys something, I've been suggesting to you guys to at least run even just a signature campaign or a bounty campaign to promote not Gravio (which was already promoted though a bounty campaign in the past) but Graviex itself.
This exchange has good features that I don't usually see on some known cryptocurrency exchanges, so that'll be an advantage.
Let me know if you guys are interested in my suggestion, I might be able to help out.  Wink

I have several times when I used this browser and it just close automatically and sometimes I can't click anything.
Well, it's based on chromium so expect a few bugs here and there. Although it seems a bit odd for you to experience such a problem on this browser, perhaps it's your system's fault?
Opening a lot of tabs does eat a lot of resources so make sure to keep it in moderation especially if your system can't handle it.
I've been using it for more than a month now and I haven't had any bad experiences.  Grin

They are not totally moving out of Ethereum, it's just a fraction of the tokens that'll be swapped (at least that's what I've heard from the team).
Refer to this post here.
Based on the post above, it looks like they are moving out of Ethereum network because after they create a new token in Stellar network they will burn the same number of tokens in Ethereum network. I believe something is missing here because he said just 2 millions token total supply-but between many networks.
How many blockchains are they going to use?
Uhm..Maybe all three?
Based on what I can interpret in their response when I asked them about it; The project itself, CurioInvest would still be using the Ethereum network.
But they will also be burning a fraction of those CUR tokens so it can be swapped with the same number of tokens on BnB and Stellar only for the purpose of trading and not to be used on the CurioInvest platform? (Correct me if I'm wrong).
Quote
we burn 500 k on ethereum network and issue 500k on bnb network for trading -and everybody who have cur token before can swap it from one to another blockchain network for trading
We can all only speculate for now since there are still no proper official announcements from the team. I guess we'll have to wait and see.
