1741  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Now is the best time on: November 13, 2020, 02:24:04 PM
The only thing that bothers me in cryptocurrencies is too many scams and no consequences for the scammers, in that way it would be hard to bring trust to this when we hear every day thousands of dollars have been rubbed through scams.
And that was the consequence of having a lot of new people in this industry, scammers will take this opportunity to get profit from people that is why as the one who has the experience we should warn those new people.
This is also to prevent what happened in ICOs way back then, many investors got scammed and lost their trust in the project that is why ICO falls. I hope that some big individuals or company willing to help these newcomers so that the worse history couldn't be repeated. Though scam activities cannot be avoided still we can reduce the damage by providing them knowledge.
1742  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best app for trading on a mobile? on: November 13, 2020, 01:05:43 PM
It seems you can't trade using the app from binance, and the app from coinbase only allows buying and selling from an account for limited crypto currencies.

What do you mean you cannot trade in Binance using their app? I just recently making a trade there, perhaps you downloaded the wrong file, that could be put danger on your account.
You can download it on Playstore for android and Appstore if you're using IOS or you could just visit their website and check it out there.

Can anyone recommend a good safe and reliable altcoin trading app from a reputable brand (i.e. not by a random independent developer)?
I am using Binance so far and I would say that they are pretty secured, they require a lot of things that you would only know just to withdraw it. What I like in Binance is that they have the largest volume and the top leading exchanges so there's no question about their reputation.
1743  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: An Indian boy committed suicide after losing money by Betting in IPL on: November 13, 2020, 11:24:16 AM
People shouldn't bet with the money what they can't afford to loss. Borrowing money for betting is worst decision ever. Every gambler know these things but many of them still do it. Does this kind of news make you worried? Share your thought about this.
It is easy to be said than to be done. It is just like you were telling yourself that you wouldn't fall for it but you still playing. Borrowing money for you to use in gambling was the worst idea, it could even make the situation worse, in a way this could stack up your debt. They still choose to do it knowing what consequences will be because they can't control themselves or should I say they got already addicted to it. That is why we need someone besides us who are willing to help us to manage our addiction. Anyway, I felt bad for the kid.
1744  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will Bitcoin break its previous ATH record of 20K before end of 2020? on: November 13, 2020, 10:20:39 AM
History always repeats itself but you never know when it does. The Bitcoin made all time high record back in 2017, the track record of BTC is that every three years it breaks it ATH record.
Well, we can't exactly tell though however, I have a feeling and I want to believe that we will set a new record before the end of the year or perhaps in the 1st Quarter of 2021.
Bitcoin is now hovering around $15k USD, even touch the mark of $16k USD, it is basically making a subtle movement and if this continues there's no doubt that we will witness the new ATH. Besides, I don't think it will become a bubble though. A lot of people are now procuring Bitcoin since it became convenient for them due to Paypal's cryptocurrency acceptance.
1745  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO! Which one do you want to return again? on: November 12, 2020, 02:27:12 PM
Well if I gotta choose I'll go with ICO simply because there's a lot of good ICOs way back then they are a truly worthy investment. I'm not saying that IEO isn't that good but take a look at the difference, ICO runs a lot longer than IEO. In fact, if ICO doesn't get infiltrated by scammers pretty sure that this will bring more investment and that could cause hype in the crypto industry. Thought the good sides of IEO is that you don't need to wait for the coin to be get listed on exchanges, unlike ICO and that is what I like about IEO.
1746  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to earn If im beginner on: November 12, 2020, 12:50:08 PM
So how to earn money!!
I dont have money no Job I created Bitcoin wallet so how the money coming in?
Even if you create a Bitcoin wallet but not making anything the money won't come in, work on it, there's a lot of ways to earn here though. All you need to do is to explore the forum, don't rely too much on spoonfeeding.

Dark webs are scams also nowdays Can't even make money there!
Honestly, I don't have much knowledge about Dark webs but I don't think you can earn through it without skills or service for you to sell.

If I have Bitcoin wallet and Bitcoin talk account I have something more then others but I still dont make a not even 100 $ daily wich is small money so why im in cryptocurrency world If regular working people make more money then we do?
Even if you have the BTC account and Bitcoin wallet this is not necessarily mean you can earn that easily, because just like the other regular job you should work on it. Earn experience, knowledge, and reputation for you to able to earn in this forum.

Older members talking Only work hard and blahhh.. Blahh bs.
Because it is the truth, do you think they will get a higher rank, reputation by just doing nothing? Of course, you must put a lot of effort into it.
1747  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will be dumping soon - What do you say regarding the chart? on: November 12, 2020, 11:30:44 AM
Honestly, I cannot tell. Even you can hardly do that. I don't know if there will be a bubble will happen or not, if there's correction will happen or not. But I don't think the growth will now stop.
Bitcoin currently touch $16k and keeps increasing so I don't think that it will dump soon, I had a thought that it might even touch new ATH in the last month of the year. One more thing is that the number of people who are adopting Crypto is still increasing so I don't think the growth will be over.
1748  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long until we can bet with bitcoin in real life casinos? on: November 12, 2020, 10:28:18 AM
What do you think?

at some point people will be able to walk in a casino and just bet on slot machines with bitcoin?
or play poker using crypto, but irl?
I haven't heard any but if there is a casino existing like that I am pretty sure they were only numbered. Currently there a lot of businesses are now going to accept Bitcoin and other cryptos so I am pretty sure that sooner or later physical casino will consider accepting Bitcoin as a bet, maybe after the pandemic.

do you think it will become a mass adoption currency or it'll keep as it is on online websites only?
I think mass adoption of cryptocurrencies will happen sooner or later so it will not be limited to online websites, take other big companies for example.

of course some merchants and places already adopt crypto and BTC as a way of payment, but curious here:
how long you think it'll take to reach the point where we can bet in real life places with bitcoin?
We cannot technically tell the exact date when will be that happens but looking at the rate of adoption right now, I am pretty sure that it's near.
1749  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is bitcoin cross $15k in end of 2020 on: November 12, 2020, 04:37:40 AM
I think yes because of recent news of bitcoin that paypal except bitcoin...
What's your opinion
Well there you have it, your speculation made through. Right now Bitcoin is hovering around $15k it almost even hit a $16k mark and there's no sign of a bubble.
If this continues there's no doubt that Bitcoin might get its new ATH within this year. Also, I had a thought that 2021 will be a good year for crypto don't you think? Most of the large companies are now seen the potential of Bitcoin and other cryptos, they are now trying to invest with so I think we're having a blast next year
1750  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin countries: top hotspots that use BTC on: November 12, 2020, 03:37:55 AM
Philippines is not on the list and I don't think it will be because the people who know about cryptocurrencies and bitcoin are a minority here. Also the mainstream media here already painted bitcoin in a negative light, at the same time it is very, very rare for one to see news about bitcoin here. I am not sure if I am right but I really feel that Bitcoin is really something that many Filipinos have not heard of or maybe just chose to ignore.
It's hard to believe but I think the reason is the technology we have in this country was only limited, it is limited only to those people who have an internet connection and a medium to access Bitcoin.
Moreover, if something news came up it's always negative, people who use Bitcoin upon their scheme and such. Fortunately, despite having negative allegations towards Bitcoin, the government didn't impose any regulations on it. Sadly to say but apparently, people are not yet ready to embrace this technology.
1751  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your favourite coin and token ? on: November 11, 2020, 02:15:29 PM
what are the coins or tokens that you hold at the moment and explain why you choose that
hope this can help others in choosing what cryptocurrency is good for hold and has a bright future  ☺️ .
personally I invest in XLM and XRP , is both coin are good as a long-term investment ?
Just like the old days I still prefer to hold both Bitcoin and Ethereum, simply because it has a lower risk compared to other coins besides I can guarantee that this will bring profit for me. Usually, I consider the volume of one coin, Bitcoin and Ethereum never fail me in this one except for the transactional fees of these 2 coins was undeniably high, unlike others. I've already seen what these 2 capable of, in my almost 3 years of experience in this industry they prove that they worth my investment. In addition, now that ETH 2.0 will be released soon, pretty sure that this will be exhilarating.
1752  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 11, 2020, 01:15:54 PM
I never think that hold coin/token is the worse thing in cryptocurrency trading. There are many people who have the opportunity to make profits from the coins/tokens they hold, such as those who bought Bitcoin in 2016 and sold it in 2017.
Well, I think the outcome will vary depending on the coin. If we are talking about altcoins, personally I don't like to hold it for such a long time especially if it is not like ETH which proven itself.
As soon as I received it and got listed on exchanges I sell it right away. I remember that ATLANT coin that OP does have, it is a promising coin indeed until the correction happened in 2018.
The coin/token that makes me hold is Bitcoin and ETH since I know how they are capable of. The token I only trust to hold is the one who has the highest volume and nothing more.
1753  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can A Chrome app be a malwware and steal your private keys? on: November 11, 2020, 11:50:56 AM
I store my privates keys in gmail is this possible that I installed a malware (chrome app) that can read it?    Huh
Well, probably yes but just like you, I also use my Gmail to store my passwords, private keys, and such because no matter what we do there's a risk of if getting hack or being destroyed. I mean even if you store it physically like on a piece of paper something natural disaster (which I hope will not happen) this could be either destroy. While storing it online could be prone to be hacked or something. But still, I choose to store it online, as long as you were computer literate like not clicking or downloading on a random link I think you'll be fine.
Recently, I find another way of storing your keys and that is through a password manager. I've been using KeePass right now the database where your data stored can be only accessed by you, locked up by your master key. So far I haven't encountered any issue yet and it is pretty convenient I'd say.
1754  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading without losses? on: November 11, 2020, 10:47:55 AM
I'm interest in trading and I want to know more about it. So please give me your valuable ideas and opinions. As a beginner I would like to know that Is there any special ways to do trading without losses or in a manner which minimize the losses.
Hope you will help me.
Thank you. Smiley Smiley
Trading without losses is impossible but minimize yeah that will work and that might be called "stop-loss", you should learn your limitations.
In order for you to increase the success rate, as a newbie, you should learn first what are the fundamentals and gain more experience. Having a small amount of money was one of the best strategies to be more familiar with trading mechanics. And if you were a newbie, I think you should stick first to trade the top listed coins in the market just like bitcoin and hold it, usually, this will grow over time by that time you can sell it if you think that would be enough profit for you.

Not only that please tell me Is it possible to start trading with a small amount of money at the beginning.
It is possible, I personally started with a small amount of money though, if I remember around $100 and fortunately it snowballs and turns out to be good.
1755  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price to reach $17k? on: November 11, 2020, 06:37:01 AM

Bitcoin has risen its price from the start, which was $0.08 per coin until now which is $14912.
today, I was reading a post on CoinBazar724.com which was directed from cointelegraph.com saying that BTC may reach to even $17k!!!

Do you think this is possible?
It is possible in fact Bitcoin is now hovering around $15k and it is slowly increasing, if this continues we might saw Bitcoin touch $17 at the end of this year, perhaps this might occur in the last month.

since BTC is not remained too much, some people say it may even reach $100k!!
in this manner, do you think it is worth the risk to buy bitcoin?  Cry
I just saw literally a thread that says it Bitcoin will pump touch $100k-$200 at the end of the month of the year 2021, he provided some evidence as well. Anyway, I also do hope that happens, it is a little bit exaggerated though coz I doubt Bitcoin will grow that big within a small timeframe but who knows Bitcoin was still hard to predict after all. As a matter of fact, we didn't expect that it will touch $20k are we?
1756  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you received a call/text recently from a friend/fam asking about Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2020, 03:59:13 AM
Was just kind of curious if many of you also tend to get random calls or texts every time bitcoin goes on one of it's runs from family/friends/acquaintances asking you about bitcoin/how it works etc.  I'm also curious if you're getting more calls/texts this time around, or about the same as other rallies?  I found bitcoin back in 2013/14 so many of my friends and family members know this and I always get calls/texts during times like these, often conversations from people I've not spoken to in some time. This conversation I think can provide a unique insight on where things might be heading..
I do experience being asked regards Bitcoin and mostly they are my relatives. The story here is that they once saw that I am receiving a decent amount of money knowing that I don't even have a job. At first, they thought of me doing something illegal but later on, after what I tell them about Bitcoin they don't believe it in the beginning then I show them how it works. From that moment they amazed, they always contact me regarding this, they asked me to teach them so they can also earn. Honestly, it was really hard maybe I am not good at explaining things but I still try though.
1757  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are new to crypto this is for you on: November 10, 2020, 02:43:52 PM
We need to guide the newbies because they made a lot of mistakes due to informatuon that they have is not enough just like us.
The people who gives awareness and sharing information they can prevent losing money and also the scammer their primary target is newbie so it is our responsibility to teach them on how to agoid wrong project but it depends to them mostly they made.
They do a lot of mistakes and of course as someone who already has experience and knowledge in this industry we need to guide them for their goods. However, sometimes mistakes become the best mentor, I mean if they made a mistake it will register or make them realize what they did wrong and by then they will seek a solution for it or avoid making the same mistake again.
My advice on newbies is that don't afraid to make a mistake because this will be your lesson, it will make you strong and wiser. We've all been there, even those prestigious ones make a mistake but look at them now.
1758  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Trading Platform! on: November 10, 2020, 02:08:02 PM
I think you should consider first if the exchange is available in your country and then you choose your best trading platform. Anyways, my bias would go for Binance. In my long time trading in Binance I haven't encountered any issues yet, I'd say their security was better compared to other exchanges I've ever been to. This top leading exchange platform has several features that you can never be seen on others. It has the highest volume among other exchanges. Usually, I choose exchanges based on its reputation and I saw Binance cover it and that's enough reason for me.
1759  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Using private key for spending bitcoin on: November 10, 2020, 01:26:46 PM
Noob here...

To receive bitcoin all that is needed is the public key (address)

However to spend ones bitcoin or convert it back to fiat currency through an exchange it looks like one must enter a private key.

Transacting with this private key without encrypting it would be unsecure... so how does this work? Is this what a digital signature is?

I've researched this a lot and can't seem to find a clear answer.

Thanks in advance... and for your patience.
Yes, for you to receive a Bitcoin public key or address is necessary. On the other hand, you don't need to enter your private key on the exchange. Private keys must keep it to yourself and don't share it with anyone otherwise your funds will be in a lot of trouble. It is more likely private key can be comparable with a common password, it needs to access your wallet so if you give it to anyone you just basically sharing your stash. Your private key will be your digital signature and will be your evidence that you were the owner of your wallet. If it happens that the exchanges require your private key, you should stay away from it because this is definitely a phishing site.
1760  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling is an entertainment? on: November 10, 2020, 11:06:13 AM
Most of the people states that gambling is form of entertainment but the reality is different gambling is like business where people look to make more money from investing little money but most of them will get failed.

So in your view gambling is business or entertainment, answer honestly. Cheesy
Well, it depends on your situation. I mean if you were the owner then yeah it is technically a business but if you were the player then it is entertainment.

I'll choose to answer this sentence because I can relate it, with our busy days in work it usually gives us stress but because there is gambling that could give us entertainment, we can play on it. Although I enjoy gambling but I am also serious on it, serious in making some strategy to win despite that fact that with my long years of gambling, I haven't find a working formula yet.
If you can manage yourself upon playing and you only play the money you can afford to lose then yeah I can say it gives entertainment. On the other hand, if you are here to gamble just to make money out from it and having no control over yourself then that would be a problem, it will only add to your stress or worse this could be the reason for your stress. And regards with to strategies, I don't think that it would work because gambling is all about luck.
