1761  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Binance to delist these 12 privacy coins in these eu countries from June 26 on: June 01, 2023, 11:32:58 AM
I suggest that Binance turn into a commercial bank, everything they do contradicts the basic principle of cryptocurrency, which is peer-to-peer trading without the intervention of a third party, and as long as governments impose these policies on the platform and the platform only responds, they are ready to do anything so as not to harm their profits.
If this isn't motivation enough to explore and support DEXs, nothing else will.
what's next? Not withdrawing to a self-custody wallet.
1762  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: No Asic miner, No Bitcoin mining on: June 01, 2023, 11:17:51 AM
If the company that provides the cloud mining service is not a well-known company in mining Bitcoin and has a surplus of hardware that provides a cloud service in exchange for some hot money to cover some expenses or urgent loans, otherwise it is either fraud or a waste of time.

No one gives you money for free, so mining vs your time or watching ads will not be worth much to them because they can sell bitcoins and get those services.
It remains for you to send some of your coins to mining services, which you use to develop mining farms and give you a fee for that, and if these services are available, the average user will not have access to them.

In short, cloud mining is a scam, don't get carried away with quick wins.
1763  Economy / Economics / Re: I hear de-dollarsotaion over and over again it's funny on: June 01, 2023, 10:55:57 AM
Considering that I live in the Arabian Gulf, where the dollar is the currency used in conducting all commercial transactions for the sale of oil and natural gas, and perhaps it is the reason for the dollar being a global reserve currency or what is known as the petrodollar. interest rates without involving the countries that contribute to the globalization of the dollar, or at least taking into account the damage to their interests, and yet they do not want independent moves from OPEC.
unless the United States changes its foreign policies, I believe that more countries will be open to using more currencies in their monetary policies, and it may come to selling oil in local currencies.
1764  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AI Coins Speculation on: June 01, 2023, 09:39:04 AM
While a lot of folks are waiting for DeFi summer, NFT summer, memecoin summer...  It could be AI summer.
But you need an upward wave, NFT summer came at a time when prices were going up and people didn't know anything, they were attracted to art and the story of someone buying a painting from you for millions of dollars was a crazy idea.

DeFi summer itself was associated when there were no high returns on loans and it was easy to get those loans. Imagine that in the year 2020 people were getting checks in their homes, while they were locked at home and did not know how to use them.

memecoin summer as well musk tweets.

AI summer would have happened if it were when they were free money and quick profits, but we need to wait until the price of bitcoin increases and an upward wave comes, will these currencies hold up until that wave comes?
1765  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 8 websites to check bitcoin address and transaction statuses on: June 01, 2023, 08:24:21 AM
These are the website I filtered them to from more list. I thought I should let the newbies like me know about it. Any of the websites are good for this purpose but 1-5 are most popular.
This is a list of block explorers, with lots of information and some analysis ----> List of useful Bitcoin block explorers

For the purposes of enhancing privacy, it is best not to use many of these explorers, one is primary and the other is a backup that is sufficient for small and medium transactions and I recommend ----> https://blockchair.com/

It is also better to use block explorers that do not ask the user for JavaScripts ---> List of useful Bitcoin block explorers (by PrivacyG)

It is also better to visit all of these explorers using Tor, disabling JavaScript, disabling cookies, and a trusted VPN.
1766  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will you support bitcoin as Global reserve currency? on: June 01, 2023, 07:59:34 AM
Before the currency can be a reserve currency, it must have enough spread and market capacity that makes countries use it. Bitcoin, in its current state, is not suitable to be that currency because of the small capacity of the market and the possibility of influencing it from external variables. It is also affected by global events, just as most markets interact. almost.
Therefore, after Bitcoin achieves these requirements, it will stand in front of two main challenges, the first is that there is a country ready to adopt Bitcoin, and this means that there is enough demand and supply for the continuity of maintaining market capacity, and the second is the reaction of the United States, as the presence of a competitor to the Federal Reserve means that Loading all countries of the world on the debts of the United States is no longer the same as in the past, and therefore the United States will not stand by and watch as the rug is pulled from under its feet.

What I am trying to say here is that the global reserve currency must be centralized, because what will protect it is not people's trust, but military power, and this means that we may need a global war to change these concepts.
1767  Economy / Reputation / Re: I would like to talk about a local board but I am not sure. on: June 01, 2023, 07:46:47 AM
In a campaign accepting a red trusted member does not look good (maximum one red feedback I can ignore but having more than one looks too bad) but some of these members really deserve a good reward for their contribution to the community especially in their local boards.
It differs according to the boards, If they show trust, it is better not to accept them, or at least ask them to create a topic here, and then leave the option for other DT members. The reason for this is that most of the views and clicks on signature campaigns do not come from active members who visit the forum daily, but rather from beginners who create an account to solve their problem and rarely participate in discussions.

If I joined a new forum and stopped at a person's reply and below that reply Warning: Trade with extreme caution! I will definitely not click on signature and take a negative idea about the signature campaign.
1768  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transaction Accelerator. Does it Work or Just Another Hype? on: May 31, 2023, 11:22:40 AM
Even some signature campaign managers have had to open it up for the participants to choose whether they want to be paid monthly or biweekly.
Can you substantiate these claims? I've never heard of a campaign that asked users to wait a month for payments.
Transaction fees are low compared to what is paid weekly to subscribers, so no matter how expensive the fees are, I do not expect them to reach $100, and therefore most of them will not have a problem with the fees, no matter how high they are, and there are solutions such as CPFP by users or RBF by the campaign manager. Therefore, High fees is only problem for users who use it periodically for daily transactions that are less than the transaction fee or are repeated several times a day.
1769  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Phishing "MyMixer.io" SCAM! - Fake Cryptomixer on: May 31, 2023, 11:02:59 AM
I think you got it wrong, the phishing link is that scam site imitates the same reputable real site. What is happening here is scam not phishing.
The design of the site looks professional, but it says that they are CoinJoin technology, so it is better to use reliable services instead of an unknown site, since the mixing service is based mainly on trust.

Overall, thank you for reporting and I hope no one will fall victim to such scam.
1770  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Receiving unwanted message fair warning to newbies. on: May 31, 2023, 10:38:43 AM
Click on Report To Admin and specify the reason whether it is advertising, spam or contains referral links / viruses, and the account will be banned.
The problem lies in the ease of creating these accounts, but I think that the more these accounts are banned, the higher proxy-ban IP addresses associated with them are, and therefore creating more accounts with them is not available.
If you get a lot of these messages and they are annoying, click on the option to block newbies to send you messages.
1771  Economy / Exchanges / Re: I've lost $10 when depositing to OKX (formerly OKEx) on: May 31, 2023, 10:25:07 AM
This scenario is very strange, you can reuse the address and therefore there is no meaning that they prevent adding the balance if it is below the minimum amount required. My personal analysis of this matter is that it may cost them more fees when they transfer that transaction to cold storage, so they set this rule, but I think that contacting The support team[1] will solve the problem.
For small amounts, I recommend using ----> Instant exchanges.

1772  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price bouncing from 200 Week MA on: May 31, 2023, 10:13:40 AM
Stability above 30k as it was a support level for a long time is the problem, so I think we have reached the breakeven point where the price cannot exceed the range of 26.3k as a bottom and 32k as a top, even the news coming from the Federal Reserve no longer moves the markets significantly, so without any news I don't expect anything to happen, at least for the next three months.
1773  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: AI Coins Speculation on: May 31, 2023, 10:04:09 AM
AI describes a use case of experiments that have been taught using learning models and then using the current processing capabilities of your computer to improve the quality of the available results. Therefore, the bookchain has nothing to do with this definition. In fact, we can consider these cryptocurrencies as scam due to the fact that they depend on false promises that they have a place in the future because of the use Actual AI, not to mention if this really existed and these coins were linked to AI projects.
We can discuss how AI projects develop cryptocurrencies and not about cryptocurrencies.
1774  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could invested assets be nullified by progressive gas fee after halving? on: May 31, 2023, 08:42:01 AM
In order for the link a coin to an assest, there must be forces that guarantee the value of that link and ensure that it is not tampered with.

Blockchain aims to ensure that no tampering occurs by removing the authority to confirm the transaction from one individual or a trusted entity to several entities, so that it becomes trustworthy.

Global demand and limited supply that there is value for that currency.

When you link a cryptocurrency to a commodity such as electricity you have turned into a central system and you do not need bookchain here. There are platforms that provide you with the possibility of trading in exchange for food prices, medicine and perhaps even electricity, but all that happens is that they manage central data leaders and give you profit and loss according to that data.
1775  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Wrong with Roger Ver? ::) on: May 31, 2023, 08:18:12 AM
What is wrong with that as you have defined it Roger Ver is considered an early adopter, he is an investor looking for profit and not like Satoshi or programmer or influencer in the bitcoin industry.
When he endorsed Bitcoin Cash in 2017, he was trying to destroy Bitcoin to create money for his new investment and I even think he was the reason for the fee increase at the end of that year.
Now he is convinced that Bitcoin Cash has become useless, and therefore he is looking for a new investment that may support Ethereum to prove that BitcoinCash is the best.

This is if we ignore all scam claims pending with the wrong use of bitcoin.com
1776  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will happen to the bitcoin rate if the global economy collapses in 2023? on: May 27, 2023, 11:16:00 AM
Recently, there has been a lot of news on the topic - the collapse of the global economy in 2023. According to some forecasts, this will happen in the summer.
What do you think will happen to bitcoin in this case?

You made me laugh. We are now talking about a logical fallacy. We have not yet had event X, which currently represents the collapse of the global economy in 2023. Therefore, event Y we cannot talk about, which represents its impact on Bitcoin, because we are not sure of event X.

There is no talk about the possibility of a major collapse of the economy, but rather a slight recession that will cause a shock that can be controlled. Is there any news about a major collapse or sources for that?

Bitcoin showed us a slight reaction to historical events, and therefore it is unlikely that we will break ATH during this year.
1777  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is mass adoption or/and regulation more likely to reduce volatility? on: May 27, 2023, 10:25:54 AM
Reports suggest that as of February 2023, there are over 40 million people who own Bitcoin. There have also been discussions about regulating Bitcoin from various sources worldwide. On the other hand, volatility is one of the most prominent features of Bitcoin.
I hope you will be accurate, it is difficult to determine the number of people who own Bitcoin, all you can get is accurate data for the number of people whose accounts have been verified in CEXs other than that, all we can know is the number of unique addresses which the article talked about and not the number of people.

Quote
As of February 2023, over 44.15 million unique addresses have a non-zero balance of Bitcoin.
That’s roughly 10 million users more than a year earlier and about 16 million users more than in 2020 (a 57% increase).

Also, adoption is not measured by individuals, but rather by services. As soon as there are more digital and local services that accept Bitcoin payments, individuals will do so.

All of these statistics depend on prediction models, and most of them are not accurate.
If more people adopt Bitcoin (e.g., 200 million people) and the government succeeds in regulating Bitcoin to some extent, would it reduce its volatility?

Which government do you mean, without a global regulation just as happened at the Climate Summit[1] it is difficult to put in place a regulatory framework for Bitcoin.

1778  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: What platforms are the best to get actual user feedback? on: May 27, 2023, 10:02:07 AM
It varies according to the site. If it is too good to be true or ask me for crypto or any KYC data, it is better to avoid it unless you find a lot of positive reviews[1].
Sites that do not require cash deposits or personal data are treated with less caution, and therefore if there are some free articles and some technical analysis, they are sufficient to judge the site as good.
If you find a lot of negative reviews or you don't find any data on the Internet, it is best to avoid it.

1779  Other / Meta / Re: How are the rules on "link dumps"? Should this be forbidden? on: May 27, 2023, 09:43:29 AM

Can we get a new Rule saying: "No link dumps"?
Unfortunately, some members of many signature campaigns do this, and yet they are paid. They simply search for any news, copy-paste with the source added, and get paid.
I tried to report some similar posts, but I do not see any deletion from mods. Perhaps the reason is that the presence of the article link is sufficient to not take action, but continuing with such actions may end up with the user being ignored.
1780  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Choosing a cryptocurrency pair on: May 27, 2023, 09:35:56 AM
I prefer the Bitcoin / Ethereum pair, which gives me some dynamism in fear of risks, since in both cases I will make gains in the long run, since the two currencies have a good future and the probability that one of these two currencies will go to zero is very low.
Profits generated from this trading are converted into Bitcoin.
Then I trade in the stable currency pair with support and resistance points, so that it is medium-term trading with a maximum of 6 months.
The profits generated from the above trading I use for day trading where I can buy and sell in altcoins without any real fear of losing my capital.

This strategy is good and works well, but it is slow and low risk.
